I’m told Bills C-8 and C-9 are about “safety” and “hate prevention,” but I see them as dangerous control measures. C-8 could secretly cut off the internet, block content, silence voices, and seize networks without explanation. C-9 would have prosecutors define “hate,” remove oversight, and criminalize the wrong opinion. This isn’t protection—this is control. If we don’t speak up, the government decides what you can say. Wake up, Canada. Tell your MP: NO to C-8 & C-9.

Canada is being told Bills C-8 and C-9 are about “safety” and “hate prevention.” In reality, they’re two of the most dangerous control bills we’ve ever seen. Counselor Lisa Robinson argues that Bill C8 and Bill C9 are not protective measures but power grabs in disguise, aimed at expanding government control at the expense of Canadians’ freedoms. She claims Bill C8, titled the Cybersecurity Act, would allow the government to seize control of telecom networks, issue secret orders, and cut off access without notifying individuals. Under C8, the government could tell internet providers what to block, remove, or silence, justified by cybersecurity and national security, effectively giving the government power to “pull the plug on your voice.” Regarding Bill C9, she describes it as the hate propaganda and hate crime bill, asserting it would let the government decide what symbols are hateful and what speech is intimidating, with prosecutors able to pursue cases for “the wrong things.” She emphasizes that C9 removes the attorney general’s oversight, meaning prosecutors could pursue hate speech actions without a second opinion or accountability. She frames this as ideology with a badge and warns it would target speech rather than stop hate, undermining free expression. She stresses that combined, C8 and C9 erode digital independence and freedom of speech, enabling the government to determine what you may say and how you say it, and to shut you down if you dissent. She warns that such power could be abused over time and that history shows powers granted in this way tend to be used against ordinary people. She opposes the idea that protecting democracy requires censoring speech, arguing instead that democracy is defended by defending the right to offend, to question, and to challenge power. Her call to action is direct: contact MPs, flood inboxes, call offices, and tell them to vote no on C8 and C9. She warns that passing these bills would not only reduce privacy but strip the freedom to discuss them, turning Canada toward a “digital dictatorship run by bureaucrats and hate speech committees.” She concludes by urging Canadians to wake up, defend freedom now, and reject C8 and C9, presenting herself as the People’s Counselor who will “never whisper the truth to protect a lie.” She ends with a plea to follow, subscribe, and share the message, and a final exhortation to stand strong and say no to the bills.

Speaker 0: Hey guys, counselor Lisa Robinson here. Have you ever noticed how every single time the government says that they're protecting you, somehow you end up with less freedom? Yeah, well, to Bells C8 and C9, the two newest attempts to take control of your life under the sweet little disguise of safety and security and of course, hate prevention. But let's stop pretending. These aren't protection bills. They are nothing more than control bills. Bill C8 sounds harmless. It's called the Cybersecurity Act. Sounds like they're just protecting us from hackers, right? Wrong. This bill gives the government the power to seize control of telecom networks, issue secret orders, and even cut off your access without even telling you why. And if you think I'm exaggerating, I'm not. Under Bill C-eight, the government can tell your internet provider what to block, what to remove, or who to silence, and you'll never even know that it even happened. And they can justify it all under the excuse of cybersecurity. They can pull the plug on your voice and call it national security. This is digital martial law wrapped up in fancy legal language. Now let's talk about Bill C9, the so called hate propaganda and hate crime bill. This one should make every Canadian, whether you're left, right, center, furious, because this isn't about stopping hate. It's about controlling speech. C9 lets the government decide what symbols are hateful, what speech is intimidating, and who gets prosecuted for saying the wrong things. They've literally removed the attorney general's oversight, meaning prosecutors can go after anyone for hate speech without even having a second opinion or accountability. That's not justice. That's ideology with a badge. You see, it always starts the same way. They tell you it's about your safety. They tell you it's about protecting communities. But behind every one of these bills is more power for the government and less power for you. C8 takes your digital independence. C9 takes your freedom to speak. Together, they build a system where the government controls what you say and how you say it, and can literally shut you down if you step out of line. And if you think that power won't be abused, just give it time. History always says otherwise, every single time. This is what happens when Canadians stay quiet, when people shrug and say, well, I don't have anything to hide. Well, guess what? Freedom isn't about hiding. It's about not needing permission to exist. If you give your government the power to silence the people they disagree with, eventually, that power will be used on you. You don't protect democracy by censoring speech. You protect democracy by defending the right to offend, the right to question, and the right to challenge power. And right now, Bills C-eight and C-nine are designed to crush all of that. Now here's what needs to happen. Don't just complain online. Don't just shake your head. Contact your member of parliament, your MP. Tell them to vote no on bills C-eight and C-nine. Flood their inboxes, call their offices, be loud, be relentless, because once these bills pass, you won't just lose privacy, you're going to lose the freedom to even talk about it. And that isn't a partisan issue. This is about whether Canada stays free or becomes a digital dictatorship run by bureaucrats and hate speech committees. So Canada, wake up. Your freedom isn't lost all at once. It's taken piece by piece. A cybersecurity bill here, a hate speech bill there, until one day, the only speech left is the kind that the government allows you to speak. Now, I'm not here to scare you. I'm here to remind you, freedom dies when good people stay silent. So pick up the phone, write that email, call your MP and tell them, hands off our speech, hands off our freedom. No to Bill C-eight and no to Bill C-nine. Because if we don't defend freedom now, there won't be any left to defend later. I am Counselor Lisa Robinson, the People's Counselor, and I will never whisper the truth to protect a lie. If you believe real power belongs to the people, follow me, subscribe, and please share this important message. Until next time, stand strong, stay fierce, and God bless.

I’m sharing what I observed tonight on Lake Ridge Road after leaving Durham Region events. A grey SUV/minivan had a man frantically signaling, with a woman and child in the car, claiming they were from Winnipeg and out of gas. They asked for money, offered to copy my passport and license, and promised return via tomorrow. I offered to fuel them with $10, but the man backed off and left. Trust your instincts—this was a scam using a family.

@LifelibertyLisa - Lisa Robinson

On my way home tonight from speaking at Durham Region — after six long hours and then delegating on the budget — I came across something on Lake Ridge Road that people need to be aware of. Just before the highway, I saw a grey/silver SUV or minivan pulled over on the shoulder. A man was waving his arms frantically on the side of the road, with a woman and a young child inside waving their arms out the window Cars were just flying past them, but something told me to stop and check on them. They told me they were from Winnipeg, out of gas, and needed money. He said he has a passport and drivers license I could copy down and he would send me the money tomorrow. Then he said God will bless me. I don’t have much money, but I had $10 in change. I asked if they had enough gas to actually reach a station. They said yes, they still had gas. So I said I’d follow them to the gas station and use my last $10 to put fuel directly in their tank. The moment I said that, the man backed off, said “No, it’s fine,” and walked away. For clarity: this was a Muslim family in a grey/silver SUV/minivan on Lake Ridge Road, southbound toward the highway. Please be cautious out there. This was clearly a scam — and they’re using women and children to do it. Trust your instincts and stay safe.

I warn that Canada is being rebuilt into a controlled state through Universal Basic Income. Bill S-206 is in the Senate and would greatly expand government power, tying survival—food, shelter, freedom—to government approval. We’ve seen bank accounts frozen and mandates weaponized; now income would be controlled. UBI could collapse the economy and enforce compliance. Call your MP, call the Senators, and spread this video.

Canada Is Being Rebuilt Into a Controlled State — UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME. This is the Turning Point Canada. Bill S-206 is in the Senate right now! It’s the largest expansion of government power in Canadian history — and it’s being pushed quietly through the Senate while the media stays silent. This bill would tie your survival — your food, your shelter, your freedom — directly to government approval. We’ve already seen bank accounts frozen. We’ve already seen mandates weaponized. Now they want control over your income. Canada's economy will collapse under Universal Basic Income, and it will ultimately be tied to your compliance. Call your MP. Call the Senators. Spread this video before it’s too late.
