I met a liberal today. He had that wild eyed look. The one of shock and horror at experiencing something he wasn’t subconsciously ready for. I ask him “what’s the matter sir?” He replied, “I lost my wife, my house, my kids. I lost everything.” I asked the man if I could buy him a drink. He said yes. I said, “tell me your story if you care to share it with me.” He told me he met his wife in highschool and married her in college. He said they had children after graduation and a perfect life. He said that it all changed in 2020. In 2020 he said that his wife and he voted for Biden. They got the Covid vax and so did their children. He said he did everything he thought he was supposed to do. I asked him, “what went wrong?” His wife died after the second booster. He said he couldn’t believe his beautiful healthy wife was gone. He said they worked out every day. They ate healthy. He said they were never sick. I said, “So what ended up making her sick? Was it a reaction to the vaccine?” He said, She got the booster even thou he had decided against it. She came home, went to sleep and never woke up. The doctors told him it was a mystery. I told him how sorry I was to hear that this had happened. He said, “Thats not even the worst part.” I said, “tell me what happened.” He said that his kids who were in high school started coming home and talking about different pronouns and how they identified as something they weren’t before. I looked at the man and said, “this seems to be normal in our education system these days.” He said that he came home from work today to find out that his children had gone behind his back and had been taking hormone replacements so they could change who they were. He looked at me with tears in his eye and said the most profound thing I have ever heard out of a liberal’s mouth. He said, “If I knew what I know now about the state of things, I would never have taken the vaccination, allowed my kids to stay in a corrupt educational system, or voted for Biden in the first place.” I said, “Why do you think it’s Biden’s fault?” He said that it was bidens mandates, bidens education system, bidens business that brought this all about. He wanted to fix it. To make change happen. I told the man how sorry I was that this happened to him and his family and bought him another drink. By the end of the conversation, I had told the man about how he can get involved locally to make the changes necessary in his city. I told the man about what was happening around the world and how everyone was coming together to end the degradation of our societies. The man left after leaving his number. The moral of the story is, compassion is free. It doesn’t matter our politics, our race, our genders, or our creed, we are all humans and compassion goes a long way to helping change the future. Be the change. Stop looking at labels. It’s time to help ALL in our communities.
