Speaker 0: 10:30 AM. I went up to the 6th floor to try and catch some phone reception to talk to my father. I pulled back the kitchen curtain and suddenly found myself face down on the floor, unable to smell anything. There was white dust everywhere and the smell was very strong. When my uncle took me downstairs I saw my leg. I asked him, did I lose my leg? I could see that it was, but he said no and asked me not to look anymore. I spent 4 days locked up, dazed, bleeding, surrounded by my family. I felt like I was dying. Uncle Hannie took a glove, some washing up liquid and cleaned the wound with a little water. There was no electricity. Everyone was shining their cell phones so he could see. I was on the dining room table. I could see that my leg was gone. He had to amputate it with a kitchen knife because there was nothing else.
