Ease of voting has always been a concern for me. Ok this is literally driving me INSANE! I still cannot believe what Trump was convicted of in NYC regarding his properties. So I worked for Citigroup for nearly 20 yrs as a manager. The process for getting any kind of a loan starts with an application. Once we processed the application, verified income, job, assets etc... we would often do what's called a drive-by, and even check comps to see if the property was worth the cost of an appraisal. If the appraisal came in too low we would still be responsible to pay the appraiser's fee. There isn't a bank in the fucking country, who would lend ANYONE money based on the applicant's estimate of what their property's worth. The application is the first step, the rest is on the bank to do their due diligence. The mere fact that anyone can justify Trump being convicted in NYC for getting loans on his properties that were approved by the banks in which he applied, then paid ALL of them back with interest, and on time, would be hysterical if it wasn't so tragic. If this decision stands, there isn't a homeowner or business owner in the country who's safe from being imprisoned due to their politics. That's how horrifying this ruling is.
