The crime suspect shot by police near Syracuse is the younger brother of the sadistic Skyline Killer. The two crime suspects who died in DeWitt, NY, are Sudanese immigrants Dhal Pothwi Apet, 17, and Lueth Mo, 15. They both live in Syracuse. Apet is said to have ten brothers and sisters. In 2021, Sudanese immigrant Victoria Afet carried out the sadistic murder of 93-year-old Connie Turoi in Syracuse. She stuffed things in Turoi's mouth and stabbed her. Investigators say Turoi likely suffered in agony for an hour. Prosecutors called the murder an act of torture. Afet was dubbed the "Skyline Killer" in the media. Turoi lived in the Skyline apartments. Media reports name Pothwei Bangoshoth as the father of Victoria Afet and Dhal Pothwi Apet.
