BREAKING: Donald Trump's fortune is destroyed as Judge Arthur Engoron slams him with a $355 million fine in the New York civil fraud case — spelling doom for his embattled finances. And that's not even the worst part for Trump... In addition to the historically massive fine, Trump will be banned from borrowing money from any bank in New York for three years. This will make it difficult for him to raise money to appeal the judgement, which in turn might force him to sell off one of his beloved buildings or golf courses. He will also be banned for three years from serving in any top roles at any New York companies, including his own. The New York Times reports that an independent monitor will serve as "court's eyes and ears at the Trump Organization" and watch out for fraud or other suspicious behavior. As The Daily Beast reports, the 9% interest rate on the judgement could ultimately push the total fines "well past $400 million" which would be the worst financial crisis Trump has ever faced. The timing could not be any worse for Trump, who is currently fighting off numerous indictments that could land him behind bars. It's unclear how he will manage to pay his mounting legal fees. Judge Engoron also banned Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump from serving as officers or directors of any New York corporation or legal entity for two years. They have been fined $4 million a piece. Vance live on air by cutting his microphone off after he begins lying about his own past remarks — giving viewers a much welcome break from his propaganda. This is exactly how you deal with Republican liars... Stephanopoulos was interviewing Vance on This Week and asked him about comments he made in the past about firing all civil servants. Before they dug in, Stephanopoulos played a recording of Vance talking. "I think that what Trump should do, like if I was giving him one piece of advice, fire every single mid-level bureaucrat, every civil servant in the administrative state. Replace them with our people and when the courts, because you will get taken to court, and then when the courts stop you, stand before the country like Andrew Jackson did and say the Chief Justice has made his ruling, now let him enforce it," Vance told a radio show in 2021. "Fire everyone in the government, then defy the Supreme Court?" Stephanopoulos asked in the new interview. "You think it's okay for the President to defy the Supreme Court?" "No, no, George, I did not say fire everyone in the government. I said replace the mid-level bureaucrats with people who are responsive to the administration's agenda. That's called democracy," Vance lied. "Every civil servant in the administrative state?" said Stephanopoulos. "No George, I said the mid-level bureaucrats and one of the problems that we have in this government is we have people who don't actually—" said Vance. "You said every civil servant in the administrative state!" interjected Stephanopoulos. "Let me finish the answer," Vance said, before going on a rambling, whining rant about the "major problem" of bureaucrats supposedly not doing their jobs. "If those people aren't following the rules, then of course you've got to fire them and, of course, the president has to be able to run the government as he thinks he should that's the way the Constitution works," said Vance. "It has been thwarted too much by the way our bureaucracy has worked over the past fifteen years." "The Constitution also says the president must abide by legitimate Supreme Court rulings, doesn't it?" Stephanopoulos asked. "The Constitution says that the Supreme Court can make rulings but if the Supreme Court — and look I hope that they would not do this — but if the Supreme Court said that the President of the United States can't fire a general that would be an illegitimate ruling and the president has to have Article II prerogative under the Constitution to actually run the military as he sees fit," said Vance. "This is just basic Constitutional legitimacy." "You're talking about a hypothetical where the Supreme Court tries to run the military," he went on. "I don't think that's gonna happen George but, of course, if it did the president would have to respond to it. There are multiple examples throughout American history of the president doing just that." "You didn't say military in your answer and you've made it very clear, you believe the president can defy the Supreme Court," said Stephanopoulos. "Senator thanks for your time this morning." "No, no, no, no, no George," Vance said, at which point the show cut off his microphone and moved on. It was a perfect handling of the situation. At a certain point, you just have to accept that Republicans like Vance have no interest in the truth. They will keep spewing their lies as long as someone will listen — thankfully Stephanopoulos had had enough.
