"It is NOT a war. It is full destruction. It is GENOCIDE." @FranceskAlbs https://t.co/M5lh71xpl7

Video Transcript AI Summary
What’s happening in Gaza is not a war; it's utter destruction of life and everything on the ground, including the people. Palestinians who survived previous assaults have said that this is unlike anything they've experienced before. It's genocide, the destruction of a group, in whole or in part. This is achieved through killings, inflicting mental or physical harm, or creating life conditions that lead to the group's destruction. The destruction of mosques, universities, homes, roads, hospitals, and the decimation of the health system are all examples of this. As Dr. Rassana Bussita said, war crimes tend to destroy the present and the future, but genocide also destroys the past. We are Palestine Deep Dive, and we aim to build a multimedia space where Palestinian voices are always front and center. We need 3,000 more regular supporters to back our work so we can rapidly expand our output. Support us at palisinedeepdive.com/support.

Speaker 0: Franchesca, how do you describe this, what's happening in Gaza according to the international law? Speaker 1: It's not normal. People still keep on referring to what's happening in Gaza as a war. It's not a war. It's full destruction, full destruction of of life, of anything that stands on the ground and and actually beyond the ground in in in Gaza. And of course that the human beings who have inhabited it. I can't forget that those I interviewed in the early weeks, the Palestinians were were surviving the the assault were saying, this is like no other war we have had, and these are people who had gone through five major wars and thirty five years of military rule before, the disengagement. So it's genocide. Genocide is the destruction of a group in whole or in part as such, and it can happen through acts of killing, severe infliction of mental or physical harm or creations of conditions of life that lead to the destruction of the group. And how how can how the destruction of mosques, universities, homes, roads, any anything that is necessary to live, to survive the destruction of hospitals. The health system has been decimated. And again, as yesterday, I was with doctor Rassana Bussita who said something that that touched me. He said, I've I've been in many wars, and war crimes are those that tend to destroy the present and the future, but genocide also destroys the past. Mhmm. So you can whatever it carries forward can never prove, remember what the people were and are. Speaker 0: As Israel attempts to erase the Palestinian people under the cover of darkness, targeting journalists and censoring the press. We must rise from the ashes.
