Consolidated Training Group Located in Weatherford TX Is a 178 acre tactical training center under the umbrella of Shaffer Security Group. Brian Harpole was the director of training, as well as manager/director of CTG. Brian Harpole was present as one of the memebers of Charlie Shaffers security detail on 09/19/25 @ UVU Brian was on Charlie’s right side and was one of the first to help Charlie upon being shot. It’s been speculated as to why Charlie did not appear to have blood dripping from him as he was carried to the SUV. As I stated in prior posts it was likely because one of his security team members is trained with tactical medical training. And the bag he has is likely a field trauma kit. These kits always contain some sore of bleeding control device. Stop the bleeding is priority number 1 for these courses. Consolidated Training Group regularly holds these courses. They teach Tactical Medical Care. Brian Harpole for certain has extensive knowledge of tactical medical response. Which is exactly what he was doing when he was at Charlie’s side. He is stopping the bleed.

Brian was carrying what looks to be an IFAK kit. The black bag. IFAK kits primary purpose is stop the bleeding buying time to get to a higher level of care. They stopped the bleed and transported him to Timpanogos Regional Hospital which is 2.5 miles from UVU. Timpanogos Regional Hospital is a designated level 3 trauma hospital.
