Iโ€™ve compiled a list of Republicans on the Ways and Means Committee who have let down gun owners. It's important to reach out to them and remind them that their actions could cost them their jobs in the next primary. Gun owners have long memories, and we won't forget who stood against us.

The conversation begins with a user criticizing a senator for mocking gun violence, emphasizing its impact on children. Another user counters by mentioning the push to ban AR-15s. The initial user suggests updating the National Firearms Act to regulate ARs while allowing ownership. A discussion follows about the firing rates of semi-automatic weapons, with one user arguing that rapid fire isn't necessary in everyday situations. The conversation shifts to the interpretation of the Second Amendment, with a focus on the absence of a "need" requirement for owning firearms.

This mother fucker thinks it's completely okay to mock gun violence. When gun violence is the leading cause of the death of Children. Josh is supposed to be a senator but instead he is a clown covered in cowardice who moved his fellow Americans and their pain Vote him out.

@HawleyMO - Josh Hawley

I wonder who Kunce will shoot today

@RenegadeMarine7 - Renegade The Armed Pocket Jew

@Jojobeansrock Says the crowd that wants AR15s banned.

@RenegadeMarine7 I personally think they need to update the NFA and throw ARs under a collector's license. That way people can still have them but it also keeps them out of the hands of people who clearly don't need one.

@I_am_Mutated - Mike R

@Jojobeansrock @RenegadeMarine7 It's a semi-auto. Almost all civilian guns made in the past century is semi-auto. One rd per action of the trigger. Try that and it would mean the complete destruction of the NFA, because if all guns are possible NFA items, then none are.

@Jojobeansrock - Jojo Stewart 4 Mo HD 154 (sparks)

@I_am_Mutated @RenegadeMarine7 AR can shoot anywhere from 45-60 rounds per minute. That means it has a much shorter "cool down" cycle than most semi autos

@I_am_Mutated - Mike R

@Jojobeansrock @RenegadeMarine7 Semi-auto can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger.. Like just about every semi auto weapon can. I have pistol caliber rifles 7 pistols that I dump 50 rds in a minutes or less with ๐Ÿ˜‚. Heck I have 22 LR with 50 & 100 rd mags and it's like an endless stream of angry bees.๐Ÿ˜‚

@I_am_Mutated @RenegadeMarine7 That's my point. That makes it no different than an a full auto at that point. If you're a decent shot and can hit the broad side of a barn -3 rounds should be able to take down whatever is coming at you. We don't exactly live in a war zone where you need rapid fire for cover.

@RKBAShackleford - Rusty Shackleford

@Jojobeansrock @I_am_Mutated @RenegadeMarine7 Hey @USCons_Amend_II, can you point to where in your text it defines a โ€œneedโ€ requirement? I donโ€™t remember seeing one.

@USCons_Amend_II - The Second Amendment

@RKBAShackleford @Jojobeansrock @I_am_Mutated @RenegadeMarine7 Well, I do say that a well-regulated militia is necessary to the security of a free state, so a free state needs a well-regulated militia to defend it, but none of that has to do with the right of the people to keep and bear arms. They have the right to keep whichever arms... 1/

@RKBAShackleford @Jojobeansrock @I_am_Mutated @RenegadeMarine7 ... that they choose to keep and bear, and they do so as they see fit. There is no need requirement for them to he able to own said arms. However, if the people were to find themselves defending their home, town, state, or country from adversaries, they would probably... 2/

@USCons_Amend_II - The Second Amendment

@RKBAShackleford @Jojobeansrock @I_am_Mutated @RenegadeMarine7 ... need such weapons to do so. Ergo the people have every right to keep and bear those weapons, and they will potentially have a need for them later. So... No. There is no need required when you purchase arms, and the necessity of those weapons is irrelevant. Fin/
