America should completely reject imported products that are subsidized by the CCP, and manufactured with child and slave labor... https://t.co/eiVlE4gpKn

Video Transcript AI Summary
The loss of a nation's industrial base leads to a disintegration of its sovereignty. The price advantage of goods manufactured in China is the result of subsidized endeavors, child labor, and slave labor. Some believe these products should not be available on American shelves at all. Restoring the industrial base could usher in a new golden era, reminiscent of the wealth once seen in cities like St. Louis, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh. This decline is reversible, but requires immediate and serious action. A new golden era is achievable if necessary corrections are made now, but time is of the essence.

Speaker 0: Thank you, mister chairman. Mister Bishop, from your perspective, what happens to the sovereignty of a nation when it loses its industrial base? Speaker 1: Well, that's a softball question, feel like. I mean, is, and I appreciate it Speaker 0: because It's set up for a Speaker 1: hard I imagine. No, and I'm slightly joking because you would think it'd be a it'd be an obvious answer. But it seems like over many decades, no one has taken this as a softball question. It has has either not taken it seriously or has come to the wrong conclusion, Speaker 0: which is Clearly, you concur that that that the sovereignty of a powerful nation, will gradually disintegrate in with with the gradual loss of its industrial base. Speaker 2: You cannot have one without the other. Speaker 0: Cannot have one without the other. There you go. So the the loss of of American industrial base largely to China. Let's talk about China. Would you concur that that there's that there's been some perceived price advantage for products on the shelves, that this has been a a a foundational, like, driving factor? Setting aside the details, basically, want more stuff and cheaper stuff. Speaker 1: Right? It's certainly been the driving narrative. Speaker 0: Clearly. So the price advantage, is that is that the result of the price advantage from from goods manufactured in China transported across the ocean to American ends up on American shelves? That price advantage. In some ways, that price advantage the result of some combination of of subsidized endeavors from from communist, child labor, and slave labor? Speaker 1: All of the above. Speaker 0: All of the above. So there you go, America. I want you to think about this. Please, as a as a child of God, as a compassionate human being, do you really want a cheaper product on the shelf that's been subsidized by communists and produced with child labor and slave labor? This is what the Trump administration and some conservatives in congress are pushing back against. We we seek to establish the truth that cheap products produced in abhorrent conditions on foreign soil, subsidized by communism, and produced by child labor and slave labor, not only should they not be available for a cheaper price on our shelf, they shouldn't be available at all on American shelves in the opinion of some. So we we not only support the aggressive effort of our executive branch to push back against this worldwide, but particularly with China, we not only support it, we demand it. And some of us I'm 63 years old. I've watched our industrial base disintegrate in my lifetime. And and what we what we hope and I'm gonna ask you, mister Bishop, to address what this means for the next generation. I am prayerful that we can fix this thing in this congress, at least change the trajectory of trade imbalance by by insisting upon core principled trade deals with nations like China, and we have to be aggressive about it for the coming generation. Mister Bishop, how would you how would you see if we fix this thing, what happens for the for the next generation of Americans if we restore the industrial base of our sovereign nation? Speaker 1: It it's a golden era. I mean, you look you look for I mean, you look at the cities where we used to produce things St. Louis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh I mean, these were some of the richest cities, not just in the country, but in the entire world. We literally called it a gilded era. And what's happened over the last century and has certainly accelerated over the last two decades is something that's reversible. We have to get very, very serious about it. Speaker 0: Do you believe a new golden era has been described as is is achievable, good sir, if we make the necessary corrections now? Speaker 1: We're we're still we we still have time, but in my in my opinion, we have to get really serious right now. Speaker 0: Well, mister chairman, we are really serious right now. I thank you for for convening this hearing, and I yield.

Sanctuary City Mayors have stated they were "willing to go to jail." We may give them that opportunity... https://t.co/qb71hf9xTZ

Video Transcript AI Summary
Let's be clear, the sanctuary city mayors are here with legal counsel. Things have changed since the election. We've exposed how quickly the border could be secured if the executive branch enforced the law. Now, cities are paying attention and lawyering up. These mayors' policies, like those of the previous president, have real consequences. I have with me a family who lost their son to an illegal immigrant. You mayors have a responsibility to everyone. You cooperate with other law enforcement agencies, but not ICE, which removes criminal illegals. America is tired of this betrayal. Some of you said you'd go to jail. We might take you up on that. People are separated from their children all the time when they commit felonies, but at least they get to come home. This young man will never come home, and it never should have happened. We're entering a new era of enforcing our laws.

Speaker 0: Mister chairman, let's clarify for America. Mayor Adams, Mayor Johnson, Mayor Mayor Johnson, and mayor Wu, are are you here today under the advice of counsel, and do you have counsel present? Yes or no? Speaker 1: I wanna understand the question. Are we Speaker 0: Are you here today under the advice of counsel, and do you have counsel present? Speaker 1: Do we have counsel present? I'm here because, we were requested to appear. Speaker 0: We did did you consult with did you have council prior to your appearance? Speaker 1: Yes. We do. Speaker 0: Thank you. This is this is not a trap question. We just wanna clarify. Okay. Here on the advice of council, do you have council present? Yes, sir. Major. Council present here because I was invited. Did you counsel before your your trip here? We are we do have counsel. I was here. Your counsel? Yes. Okay. Then you're under the advice of counsel? Yes. Mayor Wu, thank you. Let me just clarify for America. These mayors are all Sanctuary City Mayors, but the narrative of this is no longer comfortable because three months ago, we were at the tail end of four years of millions and millions of illegals coming into our country was out of control. The only thing that has happened since then is we had an election in November, and now we we we're not pulling the curtain back. We have ripped the curtain from the rods. We have revealed to America just how fast we could have secured our border if you had an executive that was willing to enforce the law. So now we're paying attention to our municipalities, And and every one of them is lawyered up. They've changed their narrative. We got example after example. The mayor of Chicago, we must lead with and live by the promise of sanctuary city. If mayor Deborah willing to go to jail, defense of sanctuary city policy, the list goes on. But the the policies of these mayors and our previous president have consequences, real life consequences. I have a family here today, mister chairman, who lost their beautiful loved one. This young man was killed by an illegal immigrant in Texas that never should have been in our country. He'll never be here to raise his daughter, Anne Marie, to love and cherish and honor and uphold his beautiful wife, Olivia. And you mayors have you have responsibility, not just to your communities and the citizens you just wanna serve, but by extension to the entire republic. And let me clarify, I was a cop for a long time to honor the jurisdictional authority of another law enforcement agency. You do it every day in your city. Guaranteed, every one of you. If you have an inmate in your city on city charges and that inmate has a has a felony warrant from a neighboring county or another county in your state and that county contacts your city while you have that inmate in detention, you and ask you to hold them for them to come pick it up at upon release, guaranteed you release that inmate to your to the county over or to your state police, but you're not doing it for ICE. And ICE is responsible to remove millions of criminal, hard edged criminal illegals from our country. And we've had enough. America's fed up with this betrayal of oath, and you'll be held accountable. One of you said you're willing to go to jail. We might give you that opportunity, good mayor. One of my colleagues mentioned the children. Oh, do you wanna talk to the children? Separation of children. You and on at any given time in America, there's 750 to 850,000 American citizen parents of minor children incarcerated in our country. If you commit a felony in America, you got arrested and prosecuted and convicted and incarcerated, you can expect to be separated from your children. But let me say, there's a sunset to that separation because when you do your time, you'll be released. You can return to your family. This young man will never return to his family, and he should have never been removed from his family if we had a president and heads of our municipalities that were willing to uphold the federal law that exists. America is moving into a new era of enforcement of our own laws. Welcome to it, mister chairman. I yield.

I’m a compassionate man. I know loss and struggle, I understand financial hardship, I know what it is to face eviction, I know hunger, I’ve lived through despair. So, to the scores of thousands of FedGov employees who are facing unemployment because your elected officials have, for decades, grown the Federal bureaucracies into corrupt, bloated, weaponized devourers of America’s treasure and oppressors of American freedom… I say to you that I feel your pain and I wish you well, but your job was no more important than the carpenter, the machinist, the welder, the cop, the trucker, the warehouse worker, the salesman, the waitress, the heavy equipment operator… every American who lives down the street from you whose job has not been insulated from the real world. Our federal government bureaucracies are literally cannibalizing our nation, eating our children’s future. MAGA Republicans are going to bring our federal government back into sustainability. The FBI is not being truthful about their procedures. It is absolutely not standard to cremate a body involved in a major investigation before the next investigative authority has had a chance to examine it, especially when the FBI knows they are coming. Their behavior suggests they see themselves as above accountability. However, I remain determined to hold them accountable and will bring these oppressors of truth before Congress.

@RepClayHiggins - Rep. Clay Higgins

Once again, the FBI is lying. It is 100% NOT “standard procedure” to cremate a body at the center of a major criminal investigation BEFORE a following investigative authority has had an opportunity to examine that body, when the FBI is VERY MUCH AWARE that a following investigative authority is coming right behind them. Same thing with a crime scene. The FBI is acting like they’re royalty. They. Are. Not. But that’s all right, it’s cool. Best served cold, actually. I’ll have these oppressors of truth before Congress.

In this video, the speaker addresses the chairman and expresses concern about threats to the homeland. They believe that Americans are capable of defending their own soil and communities, but the real danger lies in the government facilitating criminal invasion and engaging in organized campaigns of oppression. The speaker mentions filing articles of impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas and accuses the FBI of involvement in the events of January 6th. They question Director Wray about the presence of confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters and allege that FBI informants were present at the Capitol on that day. The speaker concludes by warning that their day is coming.

Speaker 0: Thank you, mister chairman. Mr. Chairman, ultimately, as we consider threats to the homeland in our annual hearing on that topic with leading members of the executive branch before us, it's important to reflect upon the simple fact that ultimately, Americans are quite capable of defending our own soil, our own cultures and communities against foreign invasion or against armed oppression from within. However, it's far more threatening to our republic if our own government facilitates criminal invasion. And it is incredibly threatening to our citizenry If our government's highest levels of law enforcement coordinate organized campaigns of weaponized oppression, Harassment, investigation, arrest and prosecution, and imprisonment of free Americans. That, mister chairman, is the primary threat our homeland indeed faces today. Secretary Mayorkas, I've noted you as a worthy adversary, sir, for two and a half years. But my issue is not with you today. I'm done with you. I've completed my investigative work. It's quite extensive. I've filed my articles of impeachment against you and I've provided my investigative work to the appropriate committee. So let me just say that my articles have been filed and My time with you is done. Director Wray, Last year, you might recall, sir, I exchanged regarding the FBI's involvement on January 6 and prior. I'm happy to jog your memory to quote, According to the record, I asked you, did you have confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters positioned inside the capitol on January 6th prior to the doors being opened. You responded, Again, I have to be very careful of what I say. To which I said, it should be a no. Can you not tell the American people, no, we did not have confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters positioned inside the capital on January 6th. A year has passed. We sit here again a year later, We, The People, still do not have a definitive answer from you or anyone else in the Biden administration Regarding the FBI presence and participation in the months leading up to the November election and in the weeks days prior to January 6th and on January 6th here in D. C. We can't get a straight answer, although we have a tremendous amount of evidence harvested and reviewed over the course of last year, Which you will see in September, Stephen D'Autano, Formerly in charge of the FBI's field office in Washington, D. C, testified to the House Judiciary Committee that he was aware The FBI informants would attend the Stop the Steal rally thrown on January 6th. You confirm that the FBI had confidential human sources At the Stop the Steal rally on January 6 here in DC, sir? Speaker 1: Congressman, as we've discussed before, I'm not going to get into where we have or have not used confidential human sources. But what I Speaker 0: can tell you on. Speaker 1: You asked for a definitive name. Speaker 0: Bonus. My time. You said no. You're not gonna answer. That's cool. We're watching. Speaker 1: Mr. Chairman, may I answer Speaker 0: the question? The moment will come. This is my time. Earlier this year, an FBI informant who is reported to have this under oath marched to the U. S. Capital with fellow Proud Boys members on January 6th. He said he was communicating with his FBI handler while people were entering the US Capitol. Can you confirm that the FBI had that sort of engagement with your own agents embedded within to the crowd on January 6th? Speaker 1: If you are asking whether the violence at the Capitol on January 6th was part of some operation orchestrated by FBI sources and or agents, The answer is emphatically false. You're Speaker 0: saying no. No. You're saying not. Speaker 1: Violence orchestrated by FBI sources or agents. Speaker 0: Are you familiar with with you know what a ghost vehicle is? Director of the FBI, certainly should. You know what a ghost bus is? Speaker 1: A ghost bus? Speaker 0: Ghost bus. Speaker 1: I'm not sure I've used that term before. Speaker 0: Okay. It was pretty common in in law enforcement. It's a vehicle That's used for secret purposes. It's painted over. These 2 buses in the middle here, They were the 1st to arrive at Union Station on January 6, 500. I have all this evidence. I'm showing you a tip of the iceberg. Mister Chairman. These 2 buses Mr. Chairman, these buses are nefarious in nature and were filled with FBI informants dressed as Trump supporters and deploy it onto our capital on January 6th. Your day is coming, mister Wright.

Speaker 0: Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Mr. Turley, professor, we're going to be moving quickly here. Let us, let us retract from the absurdities of 21st Century Twitter. Let's go back to 17/87, shall we? Article 2, Section 4, the President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for and conviction of treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors. Not crimes and misdemeanors is not and never has been limited to indictable criminality. Mister Turley, professor, please tell us Briefly, sir, what was actual meaning in 17/87 of high crimes and misdemeanors? Speaker 1: Well, this has been a matter of Obviously robust debate for, many decades. What we do know is that there were various terms that were offered and were rejected. The most famous being maladministration and James Madison was uncomfortable with that. But they were also uncomfortable with limiting it To like treason and bribery. Speaker 0: Exactly. It was never designed to be limited by by writ of statute, was it professor? Would Madison argue that quote unquote betrayal of trust to foreign powers is an impeachable offense? Speaker 1: There are references into that that type of betrayal of Trail of of trust. But also if you take a look at past impeachments, they have gone to the violation of public trust, including the use of office, to perpetuate false accounts or to obstruct this body. Speaker 0: Agreed. So impeachment is a is a mechanism of our congressional authority. It's not a it's not a criminal proceeding, is it, professor? Speaker 1: It's not. What I've said previously is that I happen to believe you should start with the criminal code and look at things that would be crimes for others because those resonate the most Speaker 0: And those those criminal code violations would be revealed through the investigative effort of the congressional endeavor to to inquire into impeachable offenses like this like this hearing. Would you agree? Speaker 1: That's right. This is the Moving Speaker 0: quickly, there's There's, one of the gentlemen said there's no credibility to this evidence. Let me say as an investigator, there's perhaps no category of evidence that's more credible then bank records. And bank records is what we're working with. The House Oversight Committee, Judiciary Committee, Ways and Means Committee investigating highly suspicious money transactions from, from foreign powers through shell companies to Biden family members. There's nothing more credible in an investigative effort, good sir, than bank records. I'm going to read from an email From assistant United States attorney Wolf released by the House Committee on Ways and Means yesterday, identified as exhibit 202 of the IRS whistleblower investigation. This email shows miss Wolfe prohibiting the investigation team from looking into political figure 1. Let me clarify that during that investigation, political figure 1 was a pseudonym agreed upon by the investigative team, the FBI, the DOJ, an IRS investigator. Political figure 1 is not a pseudonym created by Republicans are Democrats. Political figure 1 is President Biden, Is Joe Biden, Leslie Wolf, as a priority, someone needs to redraft attachment b. There should be nothing about political figure 1 in here. This is a response to an email delivered by Joshua Wilson, FBI agent, has said, please see the test draft for blue star search warrant. Blue Star Strategies is a longtime democrat lobbying firm that Hunter Biden used to put pressure on US government officials to end the investigation and protect Burisma. The Department of Justice was investigating Blue Star for these activities and allowed to retroactively register as a foreign agent. Today, no one has been held accountable at Blue Star. That happened during 2020, just much before your Presidential election America, you should be very concerned about this. Mister Turley, based upon the constitutional parameters of the House of Representatives. Do you agree that the Oversight Committee, Judiciary Committee, Ways and Means Committee should be judiciously investigating, reasonable suspicion of impeachable actions by President Joe Biden. Speaker 1: I do, that I think it is your duty to get answers to these questions and to see if the president was involved in what I think is a confirmed corrupt influence peddling effort. Okay. Congressman Higgins, thank you so much for joining us tonight. It's good to have you on, sir. I wanna start off and I just wanna Play a little bit of a back and forth from the White House today. Take a listen. Speaker 1: How many people coming into this country illegally is enough President Biden then. Say that last one. How many people come how many people are legally coming into the United States is enough for President Biden's. Enough point for what? 5,900,000 people have been accounted illegally. I know the numbers, but enough for what? Enough, just to stop the flow. As I mentioned, this is a problem that's Been around for some time now, for decades, a broken system. Speaker 0: I mean, they play so stupid on this as if they don't realize what they're doing to this I think that's one of the most frustrating things. I want to start off and just ask you why you believe this is happening? Why are they doing this? What is their agenda? Speaker 2: Well, they're being drawn in, the immigrants are being drawn in from across the world by Biden administration policy. That's very clear. And to the point of how many have come in I'm telling you it's 9,000,000. You've had 6,000,000 that we know of, a 1,000,000 and a half gotaways And a 1,000,000 and a half unknown gotaways. You add it up as 9,000,000. So they're crippling America's future And every one of those immigrants is a story of human misery behind these children of God but they're being pulled into this pipeline, This cartel pipeline by Biden administration policies that are drawing them in including the right to work I spent recently in the news just today and yesterday, are you familiar? Speaker 0: Yes, I've heard a lot about I mean we've been following this all week. Speaker 2: Yeah it's something that America should be talking about Rob. The Venezuelans, about half a 1000000 As well as being given particular right to work here in America. That's part of the draw across the whole world. But every asylee in America right now, which has a 2,000,000 backlog, so you have a couple of 1,000,000 illegal immigrants in America On the Department of Justice website clearly says they have the right to work permanently in America. So this is impacting us In a very negative way Speaker 0: What's what's so frustrating is is is watching I mean, with the Venezuelans, I mean, there are some people in this world that are actual asylum seekers. You know Venezuela, the story is a lot like Cuba. I mean it's a terrible place. They've lived under socialism, it's destroyed their country. That actually might be valid. What's frustrating is the fact that all of Central America and a lot of South America has just been invited to surge the border as Biden said under the guise that they are asylum seekers and these people just are not. And my final question to you is, If if if you guys are able to get back power in 2024 to the extent it's possible, I mean, should these people be removed from this country? Because there's millions and millions, you say 9,000,000 new people here, I mean that's like 15 new congressional districts. Speaker 2: Right, we already had estimated 35,000,000 to 40,000,000 illegals in the country. So literally talking about do we have the Capacity to remove 50,000,000 illegal aliens from our country legally and within the parameters of our Constitutional rights and protections for due process. That's a huge question. And and that's basically the answer becomes Once you draw these people in it's almost impossible to remove them and they become part of the fabric of our society. So it's a serious problem if you put men like me in charge, we're going to find a solution. Begins with securing the border. Yeah, Speaker 0: it needs to happen immediately. Because you're right, once they come in, I think these people realize It's very unlikely that they're ever going to be driven out and that is why we have 10,000 encounters, 10,000 crossers just in 24 hours this week people understand. They get it. They get this is the moment they do it and they're being invited in by the President of United States. Congressman Higgins, thank you so much for taking the time. We appreciate it. Speaker 2: Yes, sir. Thank you for having me.
