A joint investigation by the Bay County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security led to eight arrests related to fraudulent driver's licenses. Two Bay County Tax Collector's Office employees, Bancel Velasco and Demetrius Smith, allegedly issued licenses to individuals, including illegal immigrants, without required testing, in exchange for bribes. Financial records confirmed the employees received large sums of money. Five Panama City residents acted as brokers, bringing people from as far as Miami to obtain licenses. One broker had outstanding human trafficking warrants in Texas. One person who fraudulently obtained a license was also arrested. The investigation began when an employee was found to have conducted 295 road exams in one month, far exceeding the average of 20-25. Authorities seized $120,000 from Velasco and Smith's homes. The Bay County tax collector stated he was shocked and angry and is working to improve processes. Officials say the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are expected.

Speaker 0: It says hundreds of fraudulent driver's license were distributed right here in Bay County. News Channel seven's Austin Mehta has been following the story and joins us with the latest. Austin. Speaker 1: Barry, eight people have been arrested after a joint investigation by the Bay County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security Investigations. They say illegal immigrants were paying to obtain those driver's licenses illegally. Speaker 2: About a month ago, we began investigating information that individuals within the Bay County Tax Collector's Offices were issuing fraudulent driver's licenses to aliens. Speaker 1: Two employees were allegedly issuing the licenses to people without the required testing. Some of those, they say, are illegal immigrants. Speaker 2: Analysis of financial records confirmed that the employees were receiving large sums of currency from numerous sources. Speaker 1: Sheriff Tommy Ford says two employees of the tax collector's office, 37 year old Bancel Velasco and 30 year old Demetrius Smith the second, were arrested Wednesday for their role in the scheme to provide licenses to individuals who never took required driving tests. Speaker 2: These weren't minor shortcuts. These were intentional acts of corruption where individuals paid bribes in exchange for skipping critical safety evaluations. Speaker 1: Officials say five more Panama City residents acted as brokers, funneling people from as far away as Miami to Bay County to get these licenses. Two of them, owner and employee of a local company called Cuba Max. Another, a man with warrants for four counts of human trafficking in Texas. Three others were arrested, including one not identified as a broker, but one of the estimated hundreds of people who fraudulently obtained licenses through this scheme. Bay County tax collector Chuck Perdue says the findings were unexpected. Speaker 3: I am angry, and I'm shocked to learn that these individuals, now two former employees, engaged in fraudulent activity that violate the trust of our office and our community. Speaker 1: The investigation began May 20 when it was noticed that numbers at the tax collector's office were strange. Speaker 3: An employee on average during the month will do 20 to 25 road exams. I had one employee, mister Smith, who did 295 exams one month. Speaker 1: Purdue says his office is taking action to keep this from happening again. Speaker 3: We have a lot of opportunities for improvement, and I look forward to working with our state partners and our law enforcement agencies to put those processes in place. Speaker 1: Authorities also seized a $120,000 from the homes of Velasco and Smith. They say this is an ongoing investigation and more arrests are expected. Barry? A grown man experiencing 'euphoria' from little children is allowed to work in a school?

@libsoftiktok - Libs of TikTok

Meet Zachary Sandri, a man pretending to be a woman. Zachary is a teacher at @redoakisd. He says he gets gender euphoria from being called ma’am and feels affirmed when his students use his female name and pronouns. Would you feel comfortable with this person teaching your kid? https://t.co/kWMeRpsUqi

Video Transcript AI Summary
Rosie, a transgender English teacher, shares her experience with gender euphoria. She describes euphoria as the feeling of comfort and joy experienced when one feels aligned with their gender. She recounts feeling euphoria when a gas station attendant called her "ma'am," which she found affirming. At school, her sophomore students readily adopted her correct pronouns and name. She emphasizes how easy it is to show love and respect to transgender individuals, noting that something as simple as calling a trans woman "ma'am" can positively impact her day. Rosie, who has been out for seven months, says that these affirmations never get old and encourages others to love and support the trans people in their lives.

Speaker 0: Hi. I'm Rosie, Texas English teacher and transgender goddess here with just a couple of thoughts about some gender euphoria that I've been feeling today. So for those of you that don't know, euphoria is the feeling you get when you finally feel comfortable in your gender, when you something good happens and it just brings you a lot of joy and calm and it's been happening to me a lot today. This morning when I stopped at the gas station for my morning energy drink, I got manned which is so funny because I know that there are a lot of women who really don't like being called MAMD but I like it a lot. It's so new to me and it's so wonderful and it was such a small thing to make me this happy. And then at school today I'm surrounded by kids. I teach sophomores and I have these fifteen 16 year olds who are completely on board, who when I told them I had changed my pronouns jumped right into it. They call me ma'am, they call me miss, They use my correct pronouns and know my correct name, and it is incredibly affirming. So I guess my message here is if you have any trans people in your life, it is so easy to show them love. So easy. All you have to do is respect them. Something as simple as calling a trans woman ma'am could be the thing that completely changes her entire day. It does for me. I've been out for seven months and it never ever ever gets old. So I just want you to know if you have trans people in your life, love them because it means everything to them.

What in the fresh hell is this? I was assaulted on Capitol grounds last year and begged for extra protection, and was denied. Furthermore, I, like many, of my colleagues deal with daily death threats. @RepMTG gets a TON btw. @CapitolPolice I have questions.

@RepMTG - Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸

Tonight, I saw an entitled Jasmine Crockett with a new Capitol Police escort walking through the already protected halls of Congress. This comes, after today, she assaulted an independent journalist who was asking if she condones violence against Tesla. Crockett recently said her birthday wish was to take down Elon Musk and has fueled domestic terrorism against Tesla, Tesla owners, and Tesla employees. She physically threatened Senator Ted Cruz and shamefully made fun of Gov Abbot being in a wheelchair. But SHE apparently needs a Capitol police escort to protect her while she made her male staffer carry her designer handbag. Jasmine Crockett is the face of the Democrat party. And rightfully so.

🚨 #BREAKING: Dem. Rep. Robert Garcia just called for “ACTUAL WEAPONS” to be used against Elon Musk in this “fight for democracy.” This comes after an ad popped up in DC today, CLEARLY calling for the ass*ssination of Musk Democrats are VlOLENT. The events of this week have made that clearer than ever! THEY MUST BE CHARGED!

Video Transcript AI Summary
I believe calling out Elon Musk is effective messaging when confronting the transformation of the US government. The American public wants us to bring real weapons to this fight for democracy and the country's future. It's important to push back, especially when someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who often talks about decorum, is being disingenuous. If she's going to make a mockery of hearings, we as Democrats need to match that energy. After those comments, we discussed Elon Musk's actions, like dismantling the Department of Labor, Education, and consumer protection agencies. It's vital to get the public's attention, call Elon Musk out, and show that Marjorie Taylor Greene isn't a serious legislator.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: I wanna hear, why, but do you think that calling Elon Musk a dick is effective messaging for confronting what is a potentially irreversible transformation of the US government? Enormous Speaker 1: way. And what I think is really important and what the American public want is for us to bring actual weapons to this bar fight. This is an actual fight for democracy, for the future of this country, and it's important to push back on the chairperson of this committee. I mean, Marjorie Taylor Greene talks about having decorum, about bipartisanship. This is the person that lies more than anybody else in the entire Congress. And so if she is gonna make a mockery of hearings, I wanna make sure that us as Democrats are bringing that same level of energy. And, of course, after those comments, we went into exactly what Elon Musk is trying to do, dismantling the Department of Labor, dismantling the Department of Education, dismantling all of our consumer protection agencies. And so it's all important, but it's also important to get the attention of the American public and call Elon Musk out for what he is and to make people know that Marjorie Taylor Greene is not a serious legislator and she shouldn't be treated as such.

I believe the content of the pages matters more than their quantity. The current continuing resolution (CR) reflects the same spending levels as before, but with the debt ceiling suspended, I lack trust in Congress to manage spending responsibly. I can't support maintaining Biden's spending levels into Trump's presidency. A shorter CR or single subject votes on spending could have garnered more support. With our debt at $36 trillion, we need to make the right decisions now. It’s a critical moment for action.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

It’s not the number of pages that matter - it’s what’s in those pages. This CR had the same level of spending today as it did yesterday, but the debt ceiling was suspended, meaning there was no limit on the debt. I don’t trust Congress or the government to spend responsibly without any limits. I cannot in good conscience vote to continue Joe Biden spending levels months into Trump’s presidency. If we did a very short CR that took us to Jan. 20th only or if we had single subject votes on the spending measures inside the bill - there likely would have been a lot more support. This is Speaker 1: My gosh. Speaker 0: This is Speaker 1: the This is part of our Speaker 0: This was a part of our quest. Speaker 1: Document request? Speaker 0: These are the crimes that they committed. Speaker 1: Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. We have domestic violence, beating up women. Said no. We have cocaine possession. You wanna get high and you're illegal here? Not no. That's not happening. Lot of assault, burglary. OMG. Hang on. That wasn't the August one. Okay. Are they are these different people? Are these the same person? Speaker 0: This could be the same person. Speaker 1: Okay. So you know who else she let out on the streets of Charleston? Guys, sexual exploitation of a minor. That is some sick shit. That is our former sanctuary sheriff. I just can't even she was on pedophiles, alleged pedophiles out on the street. That's pretty gross. Homicide? She let a murderer back out into the streets of Charleston, a guy who was here illegally, and murdered someone. Rapist? Are you effing kidding. She let rapists back. She let rapists I'm gonna throw up. This is disgusting. We had drug what do you drug manufacturers? Like, not like, you know, some Tylenol. Oh my gosh. There is so Speaker 0: I think he made a man's father. Speaker 1: Criminal domestic violence people on here Speaker 0: and Speaker 1: rapists. Do you want guys that were drinking under the influence and on the streets, on the roads who could have killed somebody? In fact, some of these people on this list actually did kill people. Murderers. That is disgusting. How many okay. Look, how many cases? So these aren't all people. These are just the the criminal charges. Okay. Thank god she is doesn't have any reign of power over Charleston County anymore. Man, I feel good. We actually we did something really huge here. That's amazing. That's Speaker 0: and this is gonna end with Sheriff elect. Call Reggie. It's this sense now.

I’ve analyzed the recent Continuing Resolution (CR), which spans 1,547 pages for just 84 days, and found it heavily laden with unrelated provisions. The first 14 pages are the table of contents, while only 9 pages pertain to actual funding. This CR resembles a “CRomnibus,” mixing continuing spending with new provisions. It waives budget balancing requirements and includes various subsidies, such as $3 million for molasses inspections. Additionally, it redefines terms related to homelessness and criminal justice. We need to adhere to the 1974 Budget and Control Act for proper funding.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

🚨 As promised, here’s our breakdown of the massive CR. It funds censorship, includes enormous subsidies for industries who don’t need them, and includes a bunch of woke nonsense – a thread 🧵

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

This CR is 1,547 pages long and covers a period of 84 days. The last CR on September 26th was 21 pages and lasted 85 days.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

The first 14 pages of this CR are the table of contents. The next 9 pages is the actual CR, after that, the remaining 1,524 pages are unrelated to keeping the government open.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

The difference between a CR and an omnibus: A CR is supposed to be “Continuing” spending at previously appropriated levels (which were already too high). An omnibus is a combination of the appropriation bills to appropriate funding at new levels for the duration of the fiscal year.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

A good way to think of this CR is that it truly is a “CRomnibus” - because there is a 9 page CR and then there is new spending and hundreds of pages of other unrelated provisions.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

The CR references the “Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985.” This CR is not balancing the budget, it’s waiving requirements in the Act as a way for Congress to avoid sequestration due to our historic deficit.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Division B (Disaster Relief), page 23. There is $100 billion in hurricane disaster relief, which is much-needed, but is not needed to keep the government open and should be a stand alone bill.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Title I Division B, page 25: $3 million dollars for molasses inspections.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 21306, page 101: Skirts Statutory PAYGO so the government doesn’t have to pay for programs by offsetting spending elsewhere.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 21306, Page 102: Declares our Statutory PAYGO scorecard is zero. Congress does this because if Statutory PAYGO is above zero it triggers sequestration. It’s as if Congress is declaring we have not added a dime to the deficit from direct spending the last 2 years.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 205, Page 133: Allow gasoline with up to 15% ethanol to be sold year round. This subsidy for corn farmers is unrelated to keeping the government open.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 301, page 139: Funds censorship by extending the Global Engagement Center.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 1002, page 938: Exempts Members of Congress from having to enroll in Obamacare.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 1202, Page 328: Defines “music tourism.” Not sure what “music tourism” has to do with keeping the government open.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Here’s some woke nonsense in the CR. 👇👇👇

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 102, Page 947: Redefines “homeless individuals” to “individuals experiencing homelessness.”

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 102, Page 947: Redefines “homeless children” to “children experiencing homelessness.”

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 111, Page 958: Redefines “out of school youth” to “opportunity youth.”

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 111, Page 958: Redefines “low-skilled adults” to “adults with foundational skill needs.”

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section Page 1398: Redefines “for criminal offenders in criminal institutions and for institutionalized individuals” to “justice involved individuals in correctional institutions and for other institutionalized individuals.”

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

Section 208, Page 1400: Redefines “criminal offender” to “justice-involved individual.”

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

There are 553 pages related to healthcare policy and has nothing to do with keeping the government open. These should be standalone bills.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

We should not pass over a thousand pages of substantive policy changes in the lame duck, 33 days before President Trump takes the oath of office.

@RepNancyMace - Rep. Nancy Mace

It’s time to go back to following the law in the 1974 Budget and Control Act that requires Congress to pass a budget and fund it via 12 appropriations bills. LFG. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Let me explain to you how this works, Mr. Science. You counting illegal aliens in the census is conveniently skewing the population count for Left House districts. Stop playing dumb. https://t.co/4FH4cqnpPA

Video Transcript AI Summary
You mentioned uncertainty about the political implications of congressional apportionment and the inclusion of undocumented individuals. I clarify that my role is scientific, not political, and we conduct our counts according to the Constitution. Yes, when determining congressional seats, the population count includes undocumented individuals. This inclusion can indeed impact political campaigns, especially when drawing district lines and influencing voter representation.

Speaker 0: You just said you didn't know if there are political implications for congressional apportionment in the electoral college and you're counting illegals. Speaker 1: In all honesty, I am not a politician. I'm a scientist. And so we do we do our accounts according Speaker 0: to the constitution. Mister Science. Speaker 1: Sure. Yes, ma'am. Speaker 0: When you're doing apportionment, we're doing congressional seats based on population that includes illegal illegal aliens. Does that have a political impact in campaigns when you're when you're drawing those lines and and and having people vote in those elections? Speaker 1: They are counted in apportionment. Yes.

Found their loophole. Can't wait for all of the criminal illegal aliens in our country to no longer have a "permanent residence" here after January 20th. Bye, bye. https://t.co/xVnnHj8jwo

Video Transcript AI Summary
Are illegals counted in the census? Yes, if they reside in the U.S. The census asks for everyone living at a residence, not specifically about citizenship. The focus is on whether individuals live at a U.S. address. While there is a legal definition for permanent residents, the key point is that anyone living at the address is counted. So, to clarify, illegal aliens who live at a U.S. address are included in the census count.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Are illegals counted in the census? Yes or no? Speaker 1: Yes. If they're permanent residents, if they reside in the US. Speaker 0: Okay. So when you're doing the census with folks and asking the question, you're asking them if you're not asking if they're a citizen. You're asking do you ask if they're a permanent resident? Speaker 1: We ask folks to list everyone who lives at that residence. Speaker 0: Okay. But you're saying you're only counting illegals if they're a permanent resident? Speaker 1: Well, if they live at that residence. It's the interpretation of the structure of the Speaker 0: So your definition of permanent residence is that they live at a place in the U. S, at a U. S. Address? Speaker 1: Yes. I believe I misspoke because there's a legal definition to permanent to permanent resident. It's someone who lives usually lives at that address. Speaker 0: So I'm going to ask the question again. Are illegal aliens, criminal illegal aliens, the people that break the law coming into our country when they enter in the door to leg door illegally, are they counted in the US census? Yes or no? Yes.
