Why should we investigate members of Congress? Because the American public won't fully trust us until we do. They are done watching people come to Washington and fill their pockets by hitting licks on the American taxpayer. https://t.co/ts4MEDKTxI

Video Transcript AI Summary
I believe members of Congress should be investigated for potential ill-gotten gains. There seems to be no other explanation for their consistent support of poor legislation. It's possible their spouses or significant others are employed by the very departments or quasi-governmental agencies that benefit from these votes. Until we investigate these potential conflicts of interest, the American people will continue to distrust Congress, and rightfully so.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Why would you investigate members of congress on the topic of ill gotten gains? Because there's no other reason for them to keep voting for garbage other than they might have a wife and or girlfriend that works for one of these departments or works for one of these quasi governmental agencies. And I think until we do that, America will not trust congress, and they shouldn't.

Young Russian and Ukrainian men will no longer die at the hands of War pimps and the American War Machine. https://t.co/EKOA71dpcc

Video Transcript AI Summary
Putin knew that Ukraine was stealing money we sent them when Biden was in office. Trump will stop that, and the fighting will stop. I stand by my statement that Trump will stop us from throwing money down the drain in a war we have nothing to do with. Their own president said they don't know where half the money went. You're paying off the war machine to prolong this war, and men are dying because of it. That's wrong and Trump will stop it. At the beginning of the war, we were on both sides with gas contracts with Russia and giving money to Ukraine. Putin is responsible for the war. But why isn't there outrage about China's mistreatment of people? Because everything is made in China, and it's all about the dollars.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: At the time, you were worried about Putin watching president Biden, who was obviously not in not fit as a fiddle, and licking his chops. What do you think Putin's doing now? Because it it does seem as though The United States position is to sidle up and and ally with Russia and to criticize Ukraine. Speaker 1: Well, in the past, Putin was obviously, he was dealing with with Biden, and he knew that Ukraine was stealing, at least by their own admission, half the money that we sent them. So now under Trump, they know that's gonna stop and the fighting will stop. So I I don't I don't see the equivalency there other than that president Trump has stopped the fight is gonna stop the fighting, and he's stopping us throwing our money down a well over there in a war we have nothing to do with. So, yeah, I I stand by my previous statement, and and it holds well. Speaker 0: I don't think it's accurate to say that Ukraine was stealing half the money over there. Speaker 1: Well, their their own president said they don't know where half of it is. Now you all gotta get your facts straight because everybody knows that. It's been reported in multiple news sources. Speaker 0: As you know, most of the money that went to Ukraine was military aid, weapons that were manufactured and purchased in The United States. Speaker 1: I So so you're paying off our the war pimps at the Pentagon to to prolong this war. I mean, it men are dying because of of of somebody's profit sheet is what you're saying, and that's what this country is about, and that is wrong, and that needs to stop. And it's stopping under Trump, and that's why both sides are quietly pitching a fit right now because they're not gonna get rich off of young men dying and old men making terrible decisions, and that's exactly what's going on. Speaker 0: I think people are dying because Russia attacked Ukraine. I mean, I think that that is the reason why people are dying. Speaker 1: At the beginning of that war, we were on both sides, if you haven't forgotten. We we had gas contracts with with Russia, and then we were given money to Ukraine. So in effect, as the big bankers sometimes do, they play both sides of the of the coin. And that's that's exactly that's why nobody's in a rush to get this thing going. So we ought to be at war because America's gonna profit. Is that what you're saying? Because that sounds a whole lot like what you're saying. Well, you just said that that that the the arms are being bought here in America and that 's so people should die? Why don't they just give that 200,000,000,000 to arms manufacturers and then nobody dies? I mean, by by your own admission, you're saying that we're in that that this is a profiteer situation, and that's exactly what it is, and it needs to stop. Speaker 0: I mean, you can put words in my mouth and then argue with them, but that doesn't mean I said them. What I said was the money wasn't I was trying to explain what Zelensky meant when he said he'd like to see where that money went. Speaker 1: Country if he's in charge of that country and their finances, then dad come at why doesn't he know where the money went? That's what you're saying. And and and you can't have it. That is wrong. That is as we're borrowing that money every dollar we gave to Ukraine is borrowed. We are borrowing that from our great grandchildren. We're $36,000,000,000,000 in debt. We have no business being over there except a lot of people's stock portfolios is going through the roof. Do you know when we gave our missile defense system to Ukraine that when president Biden by executive order did that, that that members of congress in both parties had stock in the missile defense company, and that was a multibillion dollar contract. That was a no bid contract to replenish our missile supply. This thing is about dollars and cents, and they don't give a rip about young men dying. So did you And that that's the bottom line. Speaker 0: Conservatives, Republicans at the time praised president Trump for having the courage to send those javelin missiles to Ukraine to fight Russia. Was that a was that a mistake? Speaker 1: They were in a defensive mode, not in an offensive mode, and that's exact that's a complete difference. Speaker 0: Is play is is on the offense right now? Speaker 1: No. But but those missiles are that's what those missiles are for is is defensive moves, not for offensive. Now we're we're we're it's it's unlimited. The money and and supplies we're giving them or have given them, they're unchecked by Zelensky's own words. And I'm not putting words in your mouth, and and you're not putting them in mine. Those are Zelensky's own words that he doesn't know where that money went. So that that should tell you some things about this whole war, what it's about. It's not about a conflict of freeing a a entrapped people. It's about making dollars. Speaker 0: Do you think that president Putin is responsible for this war beginning? Speaker 1: Absolutely. 100%. Putin's a thug. But again, where is all the the outrage in the in the halls of congress about about the mistreatment of people by the Chinese? Nobody's gonna go to war by them, and I'll tell you why. Because you flip over every every computer chip or everybody's tie, it's gonna say made in China because it's all about the dollars, brother. That's the only reason.

Get rid of FEMA completely. The states can get it to their people on the ground actually doing the work. Pencil pushers in Washington left these people for dead.

🚨#BREAKING: After President Trump’s visit to Western North Carolina, dozens of people are now telling their stories about how FEMA, “left them to freeze in the cold” after Hurricane Helene. When local media reached out to FEMA for a response, they were, “completely ignored.” https://t.co/8FSjBMFISc

Aileen Lancelai lost his mobile home in Spruce Pine, leaving him and his wife, Teresa, relying on community support to survive the winter. Local organizations, like Spruce Pines First Baptist Church, are providing temporary shelters, but many families still lack power. Donated trailers are arriving in Western North Carolina, while FEMA's response has been slow, with only one trailer reported. Many survivors face delays and denials in receiving aid, and FEMA has not addressed these issues directly. A recent congressional hearing highlighted the bureaucratic challenges disaster survivors encounter. As winter progresses, the urgency for assistance grows, with some families, like Paul and Teresa, having endured weeks in tents. The future remains uncertain for those affected.

Speaker 0: I want him to know that we're making it barely. Speaker 1: Aileen Lancelai took his mobile home in Spruce Pine. Speaker 0: I worked so hard to finally get a place to call home, and it's gone. Speaker 1: Now he and wife Teresa are making it through the winter on the goodwill of others. People like CG Dellinger with Spruce Pines First Baptist Church. Speaker 2: Yeah. It's gonna be cold, so they're gonna need the bait. Because a lot of them are still not they don't have power. Well, I'll be in touch next week. Speaker 0: If it went to proceed, we'd done been froze by now. Speaker 2: We're trying to get the all those families in campers or in temporary shelter. Speaker 1: These campers and RVs and tiny homes, are they coming from the federal government or are they coming from donators? Speaker 2: They're all coming from donators or private organizations that have raised the funding. Speaker 1: As donated trailers pour into Western North Carolina by the 100, FEMA's own temporary trailer rollout has lagged. Speaker 2: We have one FEMA trailer that's here that we've been told about. Speaker 1: Throughout the winter, we're checking on folks left homeless by Helene and those helping them, like Sylvia Langevin with the RISE organization out of Concord. Many have gotten some form of financial or hotel aid from FEMA, but problems like delays, denials, hotel vouchers running out or too far from home are still everywhere. Speaker 2: So when they can't reach them, they just put the case on hold. Speaker 3: No one can tell me a timeline or when. It's just pending. It's been pending now for several months. Speaker 1: FEMA leadership twice ignored our interview request to address these issues. On our 3rd try, they told us they were responding to the California fires and would only answer questions in writing. Speaker 4: The testimony you're about to give is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God. Speaker 1: This 4 hour congressional hearing with FEMA administrator Deann Criswell in November holds some clues about the systemic problems in play. Speaker 3: I was there. My area was very hard hit. It should not be up to disaster survivors to navigate the bureaucratic labyrinth in their time of need. Speaker 5: Congresswoman Fox, I completely agree that our programs can be very complicated, and I have worked hard over the last three and a half years to try to minimize the bureaucracy and make it easier for people to gain access to our program. Speaker 6: Chairman Fox is right. Those issues about programs and being denied, this is not new. This has been going on for a while. It happened in the Trump administration. Speaker 1: Western North Carolina doesn't have the time to wait for the federal government to sort all this out. Winter is here now. CG got Paul and Theresa out of the tent they had been in for 40 days. Speaker 0: It it was life for death to the tap point for us. Speaker 1: But today, the future is still gray.

This is bigger than me. Electing a Speaker of the House who can get our fiscal crisis in order is more important than any one member of Congress. No matter what happens, I will always remain a proud Republican who will always fight for what’s best for our country. https://t.co/PPgrPco8qs
