I filed court documents to legally declare Elon Musk the father of my 5-month-old son and to gain sole custody. I believe he is the father, as the child was conceived during a January 2024 trip to St. Barths, and I’m requesting a paternity test. Musk has not acknowledged this publicly.

This South Dakota farmer, who voted for Trump and employs many undocumented workers, says he believes Trump won’t carry out mass deportations: “If they round them up within 2 days, we will not have food…We have to trust in our officials that are put in place.” https://t.co/rymWeTrS9Z

Video Transcript AI Summary
About half of the workers on the farm are not US-born, and they are needed year-round to maintain operations. The farm operates 24 hours a day to be profitable. There’s concern about potential mass roundups of undocumented workers, as losing them would severely impact food production. In just two days without these workers, there would be no food available. The farmer believes that officials, including Governor Kristine Noem, understand the critical role these workers play in the agricultural system. Trust in the officials is essential, as the consequences of losing these workers would be dire.

Speaker 0: What percentage of your workers are not US born? Speaker 1: Probably half. About half? Yeah. Speaker 0: How many hours does this go on? Speaker 1: It's 24 hours a day. You know, we could milk 8 hours a day, but it wouldn't be feasible or profitable for us to produce milk. Speaker 0: So you need workers like this year round? Speaker 1: Yes. Yes. Speaker 0: Governor Kristine Noam of South Dakota, her farm is just a few miles away. This farmer who voted for her, who voted for Trump, who still supports them, doesn't believe that they would round up immigrants and ask them for their immigration status because it's an open secret that farms in this state are held up by undocumented workers. Are you worried, like some of your other farmers, that if there were a mass roundup of undocumented migrants that you might lose workers, you may not have enough workers? Speaker 1: Well, the question I asked, how they what's how are they gonna do that? Within 2 days, we will not have food. There will not be food anywhere. Speaker 0: 2 days? Speaker 1: Yes. That that's why I predict nobody will be filling the shelves. Nobody will be producing food. If we once have to shut down and be gone, it's never coming back. Speaker 0: Does governor Noam understand that? Speaker 1: I would think so. Speaker 0: You have a lot of faith that they're not gonna do what they're saying. Speaker 1: That's pretty much what I'm thinking. So we have to, trust in our officials that are put in place.

And this is not the 1st year this is happening in Mississippi, but you have to ask why does it keep happening. Well, let's get perspective now from a former governor of Mississippi, Ray Mabus. He was also secretary of the Navy under president Obama and is a former ambassador. Governor, good to see you. Let me read first just a bit of the statement that came from, governor Tate Reeves' spokesperson. For the last 30 years, 5 Mississippi governors, Republicans and Democrats alike, have signed a proclamation recognizing the statutory state holiday and identifying April as Confederate Heritage Month. But this is a choice every time it happens. What's your reaction to this proclamation? Speaker 1: Well, first, I didn't do it when I was governor. And second, Confederate heritage? Really? The heritage that I think of I can't hear you. Confederacy is, slavery, is treason, and is losing. So which one of those heritages are we really honoring here?
