Now I'm standing here because this mosque has made national headlines after they penned a letter of community support for a Somali immigrant who sexually assaulted assaulted a 12 year old. Now back in 2024, this perpetrator was charged after abducting a 12 year old from her backyard, forcing her into his vehicle, and then sexually assaulting her. He has since been convicted of first degree criminal sexual assault. Now after being convicted, his family members were sending letters to the judge to ask the judge to consider his character when making that sentencing.
And one of those letters came from the Al Hasan Islamic Center. It was actually signed by their executive director stating that he had to face cultural differences and the challenges of taking on a new culture. They also framed him as a family oriented man who sends his money oftentimes back to his family members in Somalia. The judge actually gave him the lightest sentencing possible. He is only going to be serving eight years in jail for this crime.

Now I wanted to come to this area because, of course, it has been open now for six months, and I wanted to see how the neighborhood was faring. We keep seeing those headlines out of New York stating that migrant shelters are closing. And as of this month, you do have 62 that have been closed so far. But let's not forget that since 2022, you've had a quarter million illegal immigrants come into New York City and around 200 migrant shelters opened as a direct response.
So we're being told that these shelters are closing. Roosevelt Hotel, for example, one of the biggest migrant processing centers, has been closed. However, the reality of this matter is that these migrants are simply being moved into the various boroughs of New York City and the various suburbs. So I came to the area to come and check it out. Where are you from?
Speaker 1: I'm from Senegal.
Speaker 0: And you're are you living in the shelter?
Speaker 1: Yes.

Speaker 1: Yeah. It's difficult. Yeah. It's difficult. Yeah.

Speaker 3: That's that's my first month to be in a shelter. Before when I was right here, yeah, I was trying to work every day outside, you know. I try to sell fruit with some people from Mexico, you know. But I lose that job, I can't pay my house anymore, and I come right here, right here.

Speaker 3: Oh, before before I was paying.
Speaker 4: As an immigrant, we don't have a lot of thing to do, but it's okay here. We feel free. We feel comfortable. We feel security here.
Speaker 0: And I heard that some migrants were getting apartments. Do you have any friends who were able to get an apartment?
Speaker 4: Yeah. Some of us got already apartment. Some people

Speaker 0: What what why isn't it easy in the shelter? What's going on in there?
Speaker 5: Because a lot of people, yeah, a lot of people is the sick. No. You go in the hospital. There are a lot of people. It's no good.

Speaker 1: Yeah. No. It's better than Africa, but we don't have now job work. That's why it's even me, my case is closed.
Speaker 0: Now these African migrants who state that they can't work and that's why they're hanging out on the sidewalk are just one angle of this story. The other angle is, of course, the crime that is stemming from The Bronx and bleeding out into various parts of New York City. I've had a lot of local reporters that have been highlighting to me that moped robberies have been a really big issue, not just recently, but over the last couple of years, of course. And to give you guys an idea of what's been happening in The Bronx and surrounding areas over just the past couple of months, this week, for example, an off duty police officer was involved in a shooting in which an illegal immigrant and his, accomplice on a moped rolled up, flashed a gun. This resulted in the NYPD officer opening fire.
One of these, illegals was fatally shot. Just fifteen minutes prior to this incident, however, you had three other gunpoint robberies by two migrants on a moped that had happened in that same vicinity. So, of course, police officials, thinking that those suspects were the same people. Now that's one incident that happened just this week. There's also been a string of, of course, these moped robberies and these drive by chain snatching.
You have a suspect here in The Bronx that has been targeting women and children. He snatched the chain off of a five year old. He snatched the necklace off of a pregnant woman very recently. And this is a crime that been happening quite pervasively throughout the Bronx. And, of course, this is happening as well and has been happening in Manhattan too.
And you had an entire gang of migrants on mopeds that were tied to a string of 62 robberies. I don't know if you guys remember this video of that sixty two year old woman who was dragged across the street by one of these migrants in an attempted robbery. So this has been happening for quite some time now. Also, too, one more example of how out of control the crime in both the and surrounding areas have been. Let's not forget the customs and border patrol agent who just last month was shot in the face after another altercation with illegal immigrants on a moped.
Now these two illegals have since been indicted. They were from the Dominican Republic and, of course, were found to have a long criminal rap sheet, including kidnapping, armed robbery, and, of course, were in the country illegally. So I just wanted to give you guys an idea of what is happening here in The Bronx. Like I said, we're seeing the headlines from the mainstream media that these shelters are being closed down, that the migrant crisis in New York, because it isn't as visible, isn't as prevalent. However, the reality is a lot of these shelters simply being opened up in these neighborhoods.
And, by the way, a quick reminder, the Bronx residents very outraged before the opening of the shelter because they had zero say, zero vote, or zero opinion as to whether or not they wanted the migrants moved into this area. So just wanted to give you guys an idea of an update on the migrant crisis in New York City in 2025.

Speaker 0: Did you guys know that a 62 innocent people had been murdered in Texas since 2021 by violent offenders who were free on bond? Yeah. Welcome back to my series about district court judges in Texas that are keeping Texas criminal. Today, we're focusing in on judge Lori Chambers Gray, and we are focused in on her because she is tied to releasing 10 different defendants on bond who then went on to commit murder. So we're gonna start off with, Travian Lockridge because this man was just in the news last week Because back in 2023, he had brutally beat a 67 year old man with Alzheimer's.
He beat him for two minutes because this poor old man was confused and opened his car door. So Lockridge in response decided to beat him for two entire minutes. This resulted in prosecutors asking for a $1,000,000 bond. The judge at the time lowered it to 50,000, and then enters judge Lori Gray. Now she further reduced that bond to 20,000 resulting in Trevion's release.
And what happened after he was released? Yeah. Just last week, he was charged with a felony for threatening a woman with a gun. But it gets worse, my friends. Let's discuss 18 year old Richard Smith.
Now he was on juvenile probation for aggravated robbery, and of course, judge Lori Gray went ahead and granted him a bond. Now, of course, he racked up a lot of other criminal charges, all of them violent. But instead of revoking bond or putting this man in jail, judge Lori Gray just allowed him to remain free. And then he went on a crazy shooting spree. Now within ninety minutes, Richard went and shot a man that he got into a car crash with.
An hour later, he went and shot another man. And then thirty minutes later, he shot three more men and one of these victims ended up dying. But this isn't even the craziest case regarding judge Lori Chambers Gray. Let's go ahead now and talk about Darian Carraway. Now, good old Darian had racked up seven different felony charges between two counties.
Okay? So this man spent time in jail from 2014 to 2018 for aggravated assault. And then, after he got out, he was hit with a felony for possession of a weapon and also evading arrest, but then he was able to get out on bond. While he was free, he made his way to Harris County and was hit with not one, not two, but three aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon charges and also another felony charge for evading arrest. Now at this point, judge Lori Gray, she looks at this man and she goes, yeah, we're gonna go ahead and give him bond for $20,000.
And then four months after his release, he goes on to shoot and kill an innocent man. Now let's discuss Raul Alexander Leon, who back in 2021 had so many bond violations that reporters who were covering the case couldn't even keep up with them. Now prosecutors asked for this man's bond to be revoked, but of course, judge Lori Gray was like, yeah, we're not gonna do that. Leon then went on to go shoot and kill a 17 year old, and guess what? Judge Gray then allowed this man to be released on bond for this murder charge.
Okay. And finally, let's just go ahead and talk about Derrick Williams as well because yes, we're still going. Now back in 2019, this man was charged with capital murder. When you get charged with capital murder, your bond can be denied. You can potentially just sit in jail, but because it was judge Lori Gray, she was like, yeah, we're just gonna go ahead and set your bond for $200,000.
Now, after his release, Williams had so many violations of his bond conditions that the bond company themselves asked to be absolved of responsibility because they could just not track this man down at all. Instead of revoking his bond for all of these violations, judge Gray continued to allow him to be freed on the streets and this resulted in a crime spree in which he and another accomplice were robbing people at ATMs, were trying to steal cars, and this crime spree ended with a police chase. So there is your corrupt district court judge of the week, judge Laureate Chambers Gray of the two hundred and sixty second district court in Harris County. She is a part of the reason why innocent Texans are being killed every single day. Because this is a county in Texas which has the highest crime rate. And why is that? It is because district court judges, just like these ones, continue to allow criminals out on bond to continue reoffending again and again.

I gotta talk to you guys about these district court judges out of Texas because you had a Democrat district court judge in Harris County who was just linked to releasing 900 accused murderers onto the streets of Houston. Yeah. 900. So this is district court judge Hillary Unger of Harris County.
And I just you know, if you've ever wondered why does Harris County have such a high crime rate, the highest in Texas, it's because of district court judges like this. Let's take a peek at who she has released onto the streets. Starting off with Dramone Francis. Now in 2024, he was charged with capital murder, meaning that he killed a Houston Police Officer. And instead of locking this man away, judge Unger decided to grant him bond.
And guess what? He was able to post bail, and he was since released. But that's a pretty relaxed case. Let's take a peek at Marquis Ware, who in 2021, and this one is just absolutely crazy, my friends. This man was charged with a felony, and he was granted bond by judge Unger.
And then he committed another felony. Okay? But instead of having his first bond revoked, he was given another bond. Now while he was free, while he was released on this bond, he then went and shot and killed a father in front of his 12 year old daughter, and you guessed it, instead of being put in jail, instead of being put away after his third offense, he was granted yet another bond after murdering somebody. He was able to post bail and, got out within the day.
By the way, this case specifically was linked to a pattern of eight other defendants specifically linked to judge Unger's court who went on to commit murder after being released on bond. But it keeps going, my friends. Let's now talk about Andrew Williams who was also charged with capital murder, but of course was released due to a bond being set by Unger's court. Now this guy went on to kill a 71 year old woman by running her over with his vehicle after he stole her purse from her, and it gets worse. Okay?
Let's talk about Austen Colette. This is a pretty, up to date case. This happened earlier this month. Now this young man, he was released on bond because he had committed a murder in 2019. He, he plead guilty to it in December of twenty twenty four, and he was out free while he was awaiting sentencing.
Now while he was free, he decided to shoot and kill his girlfriend and then shoot and kill himself in a murder suicide. So just wanted to give you guys a couple of cases because there seems to be a very long pattern. Like I said at the beginning of this video, 900 accused murderers released on bond onto the streets of Houston to potentially go commit more crimes. If you guys were were wondering why is it that crime rates seem to be so high in Texas? Why does it seem like we can never get crime under control and keep people keep getting released again and again and again?
It is because of district court judges just like this one throughout Texas. Keep in mind, there are 477 district court judges in our state. Yeah. This is what they're doing every single day, re releasing criminals onto the streets who then go on to commit other heinous crimes.

Speaker 1: This is Savannah Hernandez in front of one of the buildings that LA County has been using to house illegal immigrants throughout their state. Now the reason I came to this address is because it's actually listed on Zillow for almost a million dollars, meaning that rent would be about $4,000 every single month. Now this address was also listed on several whistleblower documents that I received detailing how migrants have been getting thousands of dollars every single month in the name of CalWorks, CalFresh, and Medi Cal from the state of California. I sat down with the whistleblower who detailed all of this for us. Regarding migrants being housed throughout California, is this something that's still happening?
Speaker 0: Yes, they still are. They're still being housed. I don't know why, and sometimes for more than a year. Now, recently, I've heard of programs that they're housing them for a five year plan, so they are receiving from $1,300 to $1,800 a month, on cash every month. And then, from 600 to 800, 9 hundred food stamps, CalFresh.
I did several jobs and one of them was working at the DPSS, the Department of Social Services office, where they go apply for all the CalFresh and CalWORKS. CalWORKS is cash. So every month they have an EBT card, which is like a debit card, and you can go to any ATM and take that cash out. They can use the money for whatever they want.
Speaker 1: Now at this location, we had a family of four that received over 2,300 in cash assistance every single month from March to December of twenty twenty four, and that's on top of food stamps. And this is one of many locations where migrants have been housed throughout the state of California. We were also given another address by our whistleblower, and she stated that, there were reports of seven to 10 Venezuelans living in this two bedroom unit. She states that oftentimes many of these families will try to live in the same location so they can avoid paying rent while still getting the same amount of welfare as if they were paying rent. So a lot of fraud going on with these programs.
And can you tell me any personal stories or families that you worked with that you've caught in a lie or you've caught taking advantage of the system?
Speaker 0: All of them. All of them. They will lie. They will say, oh, you know, they let me go. And you know, sometimes they let themselves go.
They don't get let go of jobs. They quit because they don't have a need. They don't have, you know, they're not really worried about having something stable because they have all these free resources.
Speaker 1: Some of the other documents highlighted how these migrants were asking to have their children enrolled in schools and were enrolling them in schools, how they were also trying to apply for section eight housing and get on the list for benefits that typically were only provided to American citizens. On top of that, they also have tiny villages throughout LA County that were created for homeless Americans. However, you also have migrants that are now living in those locations as well.
Speaker 0: The rules are always changing, so for the longest time we weren't allowed to make them eligible to receive these services. But then all of a sudden, with the new programs that the Biden administration put, then they were changing. Then all of a sudden, have immigrants that are here receiving these resources that before it was only for American citizens. Section eight, all of a sudden, now illegal immigrants can apply. If you're here illegally, if you're homeless, you know, you can get your apartment deposit, taken care of so you can get yourself an apartment.
And another thing, they all a lot of them, the majority want to go back. They do not want to stay in The US. They are not interested in staying here. They don't like it. They don't like it.
They have this sort of entitlement that their culture is better. And you know what? I'm just gonna be here, make some money, and go back home, but I'm not gonna go back home empty handed.

Now I wanted to give you guys a first inside look at these units. The migrants shared with us that they come furnished.
So they have a flat screen TV in there, couches, tables and chairs, a bed. We also asked them as well, hey. Are you paying utilities here? They shared with us that, nope. They do not have a water bill.
They do not have an electricity bill. And what about the light and the water? Everything is we don't pay anything. Now I wanted to focus in on this area of Maine, because there is a housing crisis going on currently for residents, and these buildings were initially created for Maine residents, but then it was decided that homeless migrants would be living here. Now as an American, you can rent out one of these units, but a 1 bedroom is going to run you about $1800, and a 2 bedroom is going to run you about $23100.
By the way, the average housing price for a house over here in Brunswick is about $480,000. So there was obviously a lot of outrage, when it was first discovered that migrants were going to be housed here for free on taxpayer dollar. Now I wanted to focus in on Brunswick as well because this is the same county that has received FEMA funding from that same program that spent almost $1,000,000,000 through the fiscal year of 2023 and 2024 on sheltering illegal immigrants throughout the United States of America. By the way, FEMA coming out and saying that they have run out of that funding. We are expecting another hurricane hitting.
We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season. This is why I wanted to come up this way. This is why I wanted to come to Brunswick because I wanted to show you guys a comparison of how the federal government is treating American citizens versus illegal immigrants and migrants in this country. This is how migrants up in Maine, up in Brunswick are living.
We also went to Bangor. We went to Lewiston, and there are African migrants who share with us that they really like it over here, that they've been treated very well. We spoke to Catholic Charities who told us that they are expecting more migrants. They're actually bringing more migrants up this way.
Speaker 1: Yeah. So we're expecting, up to a 150 refugees, starting, yesterday until, September 30th, which is the fiscal year. And then we also have walk in clients, which will increase those numbers, generally for refugees that we know are coming. We help them get set up with an apartment, And but we're always looking for, like, other landlords to work with as well for apartments.

Speaker 0: What's up, guys? This is Savannah Hernandez in the sanctuary city of Boston, Massachusetts. Now I came to this area because this is one of four cities that is currently making headlines for pushing back against federal immigration law, and I wanted to bring you to one of the hotels that is still actively housing illegal immigrants in the city of Boston. Now governor of Massachusetts, Maura Healey, just this week, allocated another $425,000,000 in pandemic era funding to housing migrants through June of twenty twenty five. I actually had somebody pose as an illegal immigrant and go into city hall to try to get an idea of what illegal immigrants are being told here in the city of Boston and what they're being offered.
Now this is a tactic that a lot of these sanctuary cities are using. They will bring migrants a little bit out of the city into hotels just like this one before trying to give them permanent housing and dispersing them throughout the state. Now I'm focusing in on Boston because we are going to have four mayors that are going to be speaking in front of a house oversight committee next month regarding their sanctuary policies, more specifically, their pushback against federal immigration law. Those consist of, of course, the Boston Mayor, the Chicago, Denver, and New York City Mayor. They're all going to be there next month.
Now some of the main talking points that we keep hearing from these Sanctuary City Mayors are, well, we can still be compassionate and welcoming without sacrificing public safety. But one of the reasons I brought you guys to this hotel specifically is because here in Boston, for example, their mayor keeps saying that this is one of America's safest cities. In this hotel just a couple weeks ago, an illegal immigrant was arrested with 5,000 grams of fentanyl and an a r fifteen. This also follows a long string of arrests of illegal immigrants in Boston that had been tied to gangs, that had been arrested for child rape, for murder, for drug distribution. I mean, you even had an illegal immigrant who was arrested for killing an American business owner in Boston.
So just an idea of what we are going to potentially be hearing, from the mayors during that oversight committee hearing and, also to highlighting the fight between sanctuary cities and now the Trump administration. Of course, we've had Tom Homan come forward and state that any city official who, circumvents federal law, who pushes back against illegal immigration laws on the books will be prosecuted. And we also have our new attorney general, Pam Bondi, stating that sanctuary cities just like this one are going to be cut off from federal funding. She's already suing as well the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago for their sanctuary city policies. So this is an idea of the fight that is currently going on between the federal government and state governments right now in terms of illegal immigration.

And the Bronx residents are extremely upset about this because they state that they had zero input or zero say on migrants being relocated to this building. Now I wanted to come to sanctuary cities specifically to show Americans that even though the Trump administration has taken office and they're cracking down on illegal immigration, of course, sanctuary cities like New York are still allocating contracts and hundreds of millions of dollars to housing illegal immigrants. So for example, in this building behind me, you just had a a women and minority owned business given a $340,000 construction management contract back in December. On top of that, you also have Garner Environmental Services who were awarded a $450,000,000 management contract to manage these, shelters throughout the entire city of New York.
So I wanted to bring you to this location because residents of the Bronx have been extremely upset about this. They've actually been protesting it because they state that no city officials actually asked them, their input on whether or not they wanted these migrants relocated to this area. Also, mayor Eric Adams is set to testify in front of the house oversight committee regarding his sanctuary city policies. And, as you guys can see behind me, you have a lot of tables, chairs, trash cans, and such in this building, as they prepare to bring all of these migrants this way. Now something interesting about this building is that it was marketed as a 20 foot ceiling, breathtaking water, and skyline view with a rooftop terrace area.
K? This is a fairly nice building. And instead of renovating it for the residents of the Bronx, instead of trying to make it a nice location for American citizens or New Yorkers. Instead, 2,200 migrants are going to be relocated to this area. Now this is just step one.
Step two, of course, is permanent housing. And what we are seeing from sanctuary cities and states across the nation is that once they put nation is that once they put migrants in these temporary shelters, they then try to give them permanent housing to further hide or disperse them throughout the state. So I wanted to give you guys an idea of what's happening here in The Bronx. It doesn't seem to be getting too much light that 2,200 migrants are about to be moved into this location, but, did wanna come and help the Bronx residents out here bring light to their story.

Now this small town made headlines after one of their residents was kicked out of their town council meeting for waving an American flag. An ordinance was passed by Nish Patel, the town council president, trying to ban residents from using props when they were speaking. So a resident decided to come and wave the American flag and hold up a constitution in protest, which resulted in the president utilizing 2 police officers to get him escorted out of the meeting. In response, you had multiple residents come to the meeting tonight with American flags.
They're both waving and wearing them to protest this ordinance. Now because so many New Jersey residents came forward to have their voices heard and push back against this ordinance, the town council actually brought forth a motion to repeal this tonight, and they all voted in favor of rescinding it. This ordinance started out with good intentions of having some regulations as councilman pointed it out. But I believe that it went too far. I will get support of repealing it as well.
And if we need to do this for joint insurance funds to protect the township from litigations, I hope future council can take on this challenge and do a much better job than it did. Now this is only step 1, and the actual vote isn't going to be happening until January 8th. But again, the entire town council tonight voting on, yes, we will be rescinding that bill. And even the president coming forward and saying that he thinks it was a mistake to bring forward this ordinance, that he apologizes for it. But wanted to give you guys an update on, again, that story that made national headlines as there was outrage across the country after the American flag and the constitution were deemed a prop by the Edison, New Jersey Town Council.
They have since rescinded that, and, the New Jersey residents have had their voices heard tonight. Resend those ordinances. Resend them.

For example, this page titled obtain your license to drive from the United States here advertises multiple fake driver's licenses in several videos alongside fake Social Security cards and even credit scores. As you scroll through this page, the seller even advertises that his IDs can pass an authenticity check, passing IDs under a black light, revealing a hologram security feature typically applied to real government issued driver's licenses. These fake licenses are advertised for every state, and we've reached out to the owner of this page who confirmed that he could create an ID for us in whichever state that we needed. He then sent us instructions on what information he would need to create the fake driver's license.
And by the way, his page is one of many advertising this service across the US. Now you would typically need an ID or Social Security number to work for Uber Eats, for example. So this is one way illegal immigrants can have access to IDs. Or you can go the route of finding advertisements on Facebook pages promoting the activation or rental of Uber Eats, DoorDash, or Instacart accounts. On these pages, migrants can buy an already activated food delivery account or rent one out from another user.
One woman posted an image reading rent account for DoorDash in Spanish. We reached out to her to ask her how much she was renting the account for, to which she responded that it was $500. Alongside a driver's license and Social Security number, a bank account is also something a migrant might need to start a food delivery account. Luckily for them, that's also something that can be rented out. On the Latinos in the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Facebook page, we found someone renting out a bank account for $25 a week.
But before migrants can even access illegal work in the US, they need to make it into the country first. And luckily for them, Facebook also allows the advertisement of human smuggling services on their platforms too. One page titled Coyote 502 boasts almost 100,000 followers with this page regularly posting videos of large groups of migrants walking through and being smuggled throughout Mexico. In the comments of these videos, migrants are told they can be brought over from Mexico into the US within 20 minutes. Other migrants who have used the smuggling service post selfies and videos of their walk, and other smugglers comment counter offers promising to smuggle migrants in even faster and cheaper than their counterpart.
The Coyote 502 page has also posted videos driving throughout US cities and walking migrants through Sonora, Mexico. On another page called Flee Market of Phoenix, we found a smuggler who advertised his services by posting a video of migrants climbing over the border wall. The page we found him on, by the way, has over 72,000 followers. Now after seeing his advertisement, we reached out to him asking him to clarify his services, to which he responded with el brinco, meaning the jump. He then commented that his service would be fast, easy, and secure, and then he sent us 2 videos.
1 was that original ad of these smugglers hoisting a ladder and bringing people over the border wall, and another advertised the trail he uses, sharing that he could get us over from Mexico into the US in 30 minutes or less. As we continued asking questions, he transferred over from written text to voice messages as a way to discuss his services without putting admissions of illegal activity in writing. He verbally gave us pricing, sharing that it would be 75100 per person, adding that he would give us a $1,000 per person finder's fee for every migrant we referred to him. And again, this is one of many pages advertising these services across the US. Now typically creating or obtaining a fake form of identification or smuggling a human being across the border would be a felony, and working illegally would result in deportation.
However, Meta is allowing this illegal activity to take place on Facebook every single day, and these online flea markets can be found in every city and state across the US, even those that don't have sanctuary laws for illegal immigrants.

Now I wanted to give you guys a first inside look at these units. The migrants shared with us that they come furnished.
So they have a flat screen TV in there, couches, tables and chairs, a bed. We also asked them as well, hey. Are you paying utilities here? They shared with us that, nope. They do not have a water bill.
They do not have an electricity bill. And what about the light and the water? Everything is we don't pay anything. Now I wanted to focus in on this area of Maine, because there is a housing crisis going on currently for residents, and these buildings were initially created for Maine residents, but then it was decided that homeless migrants would be living here. Now as an American, you can rent out one of these units, but a 1 bedroom is going to run you about $1800, and a 2 bedroom is going to run you about $23100.
By the way, the average housing price for a house over here in Brunswick is about $480,000. So there was obviously a lot of outrage, when it was first discovered that migrants were going to be housed here for free on taxpayer dollar. Now I wanted to focus in on Brunswick as well because this is the same county that has received FEMA funding from that same program that spent almost $1,000,000,000 through the fiscal year of 2023 and 2024 on sheltering illegal immigrants throughout the United States of America. By the way, FEMA coming out and saying that they have run out of that funding. We are expecting another hurricane hitting.
We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season. This is why I wanted to come up this way. This is why I wanted to come to Brunswick because I wanted to show you guys a comparison of how the federal government is treating American citizens versus illegal immigrants and migrants in this country. This is how migrants up in Maine, up in Brunswick are living.
We also went to Bangor. We went to Lewiston, and there are African migrants who share with us that they really like it over here, that they've been treated very well. We spoke to Catholic Charities who told us that they are expecting more migrants. They're actually bringing more migrants up this way.
Speaker 1: Yeah. So we're expecting, up to a 150 refugees, starting, yesterday until, September 30th, which is the fiscal year. And then we also have walk in clients, which will increase those numbers, generally for refugees that we know are coming. We help them get set up with an apartment, And but we're always looking for, like, other landlords to work with as well for apartments.

And, as you guys can see behind me, the migrant crisis in this area is really bad. I actually just walked out of my hotel, and this was first thing, that I saw was this gentleman behind me with this sign reading, need money for for medicine.
And he also has another portion of the sign that says, please don't ignore me. I need help. I'm trying to get back to my country. He shares that he's from Ecuador and that he got here a month ago, but he's trying to get back home because he contracted tuberculosis. After staying at one of the migrant shelters here, apparently, they took him to the hospital, and he was there for 2 weeks.
Doctors, at that point, told him he's attracted tuberculosis from the shelter that he was at. So he is now on the street here, basically begging for for money and for help because he states that nobody here in Chicago is willing to help him. Now similar to New York, Chicago does have the intake centers in which migrants can go and get plane tickets to go to other states or even to other countries. So we did direct him that way, but, I've been in Chicago for a day. And, you can see these migrants on every single corner that have these signs, and they're asking for money.
They're asking for help, because the shelter system in this area is not doing good, and the migrant crisis in Chicago is not looking great.
