@SenThomTillis - Senator Thom Tillis

Folks, @ElonMusk is 100% right, and he understands this issue better than anyone. We should take his warnings seriously. We can’t let Communist China become the long-term winner.

@elonmusk - Elon Musk

Yes. A massive strategic error is being made right now to damage solar/battery that will leave America extremely vulnerable in the future.

@PeterDiamandis - Peter H. Diamandis, MD

By 2030, China could have the ability to produce enough solar and storage infrastructure each year to match the entire electricity generation capacity of the United States.

@SenThomTillis - Senator Thom Tillis

This disgusting threat was made against @elonmusk for helping President Trump eliminate government waste and protect taxpayer dollars. We need to find out who paid for this and who allowed it to be posted. cc: @MayorBowser https://t.co/ub2Vbpznjf

Here at 400 Massachusetts Avenue Northwest, I'm looking at an ad in a government advertising box. It's unclear whether the government authorized this or if it was placed by someone else. The ad seems to be targeting individuals and features the USAID logo. I hope this wasn't funded or endorsed by USAID, especially considering the president is scrutinizing how taxpayer money is spent and whether it's being used effectively. I believe Elon Musk and President Trump are right to question these expenditures and this ad is a perfect example of what's wrong with government spending.

Speaker 0: So we're at 400 Massachusetts Avenue Northwest, and this is what we see in a government advertising box. We don't know if the government allowed this or an individual, but targeting individuals, hopefully only using USAID's logo, it better not be funded by them or endorsed by them. The president is asking serious questions about where taxpayer dollars are going and whether or not it's the best and highest use. I, for one, think that Elon Musk and president Trump are doing right by the American taxpayers asking those questions. This is what's wrong with the process.

This is disgusting. Who paid for this? And who allowed it to be displayed in our nation’s capital? cc: @elonmusk @MayorBowser https://t.co/a94Xq5Xfw1

Here at 400 Massachusetts Avenue Northwest, I'm looking at an ad in a government advertising box. It's unclear whether the government authorized this or if an individual did it, but it appears to be targeting specific people using USAID's logo. I hope it's not funded or endorsed by them. The President is right to question where taxpayer money is going and if it's being used effectively. Both Elon Musk and President Trump are right to question the use of American taxpayer dollars. This kind of advertising is exactly what's wrong with the system.
