I’ve been exploring the idea that drinking less water might be beneficial. It seems that water doesn’t actually hydrate our cells effectively and can even lead to bloating. Low-quality tap water, especially, may not provide the hydration we need. Instead, nutrients from raw foods or natural liquids like coconut water are better for replacing lost fluids. Fats, not water, are what truly lubricate our bodies, similar to how we moisturize our skin. I’m considering replacing my water intake with raw dairy and animal fats to see if I feel more hydrated.

SHOULD YOU DRINK LESS WATER? Water does not hydrate your bodily tissues. In fact, water dries the cells and bloats the body because most of it circulates in the blood serum without actually going into the cells. This is especially true for low-quality low-mineral tap water with the added toxins we know are in it. People who only eat cooked food cannot absorb much of the H2O into their cells, and thus become dehydrated. Water is not a good replacement for bodily fluids spent during evaporation/perspiration because cells cannot absorb it. Only H2O that is nutrient bound in raw foods (or natural liquids like coconut water or juices, raw milk) properly replaces fluids. Water does not lubricate (and moisturize) the body. It is only fats that lubricate. Try lubricating machines with water - they will disintegrate! This is the principle of why we moisturize our external skin with fats like coconut oil, olive oil and other oils rather than water - the principle is the same for the inside of the body! Drinking vast quantities of water can cause frequent urination, a sense of being too cold, weight-loss in many people and bloating. Try swapping out your endless water drinking for more raw milk, raw dairy, raw animal fats and see if your body ends up feeling more lubricated and moisturized overall (it will).
