Claims have emerged that the State Department used taxpayer funds to provide therapy sessions for employees coping with Trump's election win. Congressman Darrell Issa is demanding a private briefing to investigate the costs, the number of sessions, and whether similar sessions have occurred in the past due to other events. In a letter to Secretary Blinken, he expressed concern that the department is catering to employees upset by the election results, specifically citing the disappointment over Kamala Harris not being elected president.

Speaker 0: Claims that the state department, listen to this, use taxpayer dollars for your money to fund therapy sessions to help employees cope after Trump's win. These are federal employees. In California, congressman Darrell Issa is demanding a private briefing by the end of today on the alleged sessions. He wants answers on how much money they cost the department, how many took place, have these types of therapy sessions for employees ever taken place before, And if so, what events prompted them? Writing in a scathing letter to secretary Blinken, quote, I am concerned that the department is catering to federal employees who are personally devastated by the normal functioning of American democracy through the provision of government funded mental health counseling because Kamala Harris was not elected president of the United States.

If Kamala actually ran an honest ad. https://t.co/GrCkRloOv4

Video Transcript AI Summary
Kamala Harris's hypothetical campaign ad claims the economy is failing and would worsen if she were elected for four more years. She encourages girls to follow her career path: prostitution. As a prosecutor in San Francisco, she hooked up with men who could help her career, eventually meeting Willie Brown, who she calls the "ultimate sugar daddy." Brown, who once dated Harris, said he's excited a black woman is on a presidential ticket. Brown is credited with launching Harris's career. As Willie Brown's mistress, Harris claims she was given lucrative, fake jobs in California state government, stealing from taxpayers. She says she met just two days per month for one job and was paid about $250,000 per year. She implies her experience with powerful men, including "back rub deals," would help her deal with Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong Un.

Speaker 0: If Kamala was truthful, I think her campaign ads would sound a little bit more like this. Speaker 1: The economy is failing. And if I'm elected to 4 more years, things are only gonna get worse. And so I, Kamala Harris, want to encourage every little girl in America to follow the same career path as me. Prostitution. When I was a prosecutor back in San Francisco, I was an ambitious young woman. If I thought a man could help me with my career, you'd better believe I was hooking up with him. Oh, yeah. Finally, I met the ultimate sugar daddy, San Francisco mayor Willie Brown. Willie Brown, who once dated Harris, says he's excited a black woman is on a presidential ticket. It was wonderful to have that kind of ongoing daily activity relationship. Now Brown is widely credited with helping to launch the senator's career. Willie was married at the time, and so I was what's called a mistress. As Willie Brown's mistress, I was given lucrative positions in California state government. These were essentially fake jobs, stealing from California taxpayers. For one job, I met just 2 days per month and was paid about $250,000 per year. And so when Donald Trump asks how I'm gonna deal with Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong Un, well, let's just say I got a lot of experience dealing with powerful men. Some politicians do backroom deals. I do back rub deals. You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 0: Behold the North American wrinkledpeckerhead, a most disgusting creature that has found its niche within the swampy environs of our nation's capital. Thanks to the marvels of contemporary technology, our drone has permitted us a rare glimpse into the life of this repulsive creature. The wrinkled peckerhead, a parasitic entity by nature, is often observed attaching itself to the ass of the American taxpayer. It engages in a slow methodical siphoning of vitality from the industrious souls, contributing to the phenomena of inflation and the escalating costs of food and energy. The wrinkled peckerhead, surprisingly, is under protection, ensuring any criticism is quickly silenced, thus perpetuating its survival in the filthy swamplands of our nation's capital. Yet, the patience of taxpayers, wearied by the parasitic drain and censorship is fraying. A groundswell of discontent hints that tolerance for both the creature and the suppression of descent may soon reach its nadir.

The speakers discuss the issue of illegal immigration and the removal of razor wire at the border. Speaker 1 questions why it is becoming easier for people to enter the country illegally. Speaker 0 argues that they are not making it easier and explains that they sued to remove the razor wire to allow Border Patrol to do their jobs effectively. Speaker 1 mentions the concerns of the Border Patrol Union, but Speaker 0 emphasizes the need for more resources, including additional border patrol agents. Speaker 1 asks if razor wire works, to which Speaker 0 responds that it does not help with processing people at the border. Speaker 1 also asks about the president's plan, and Speaker 0 mentions immigration reform and collaboration with Mexico to address the issue. They urge House Republicans to act on the supplemental request and negotiate in good faith.

Speaker 0: Why are Speaker 1: you guys making it easier for people to enter the country illegally? Speaker 0: I don't believe we are. Why do you think we Speaker 1: are? Well, you guys sued to cut razor wire that was put in place by Texas officials. Speaker 0: So the border patrol could actually do their jobs, but keep going. Well, Speaker 1: you won in court. So now what? The Border Patrol Union president is saying the Supreme Court's decision is going to undoubtedly encourage more illegal immigration. Do you guys know better than the Border Patrol Union? Speaker 0: The Border Patrol needed access and that's why we sued to get rid of that razor wire. So that they could do their jobs. And you know what would also help them do their jobs, Peter? More border patrol agents. There's an idea. And if you go back to the supplemental request that we put in, there's money in there for some 1300 additional border patrol agents. We wanna help them do their jobs. We want to give them more resources, And the answer we kept get keep getting back from House Republicans is no, no, no. Speaker 1: Does razor wire work? Speaker 0: Does razor wire work for what? Does it work for the border patrol to allow them to have the access they need to be able to- at it to better process people that are- trying to get across the border? I don't think so, and that's why we asked for it to be removed. Speaker 1: But what is the president's plan? This is happening just weeks after 300 since people came to this country over the southern border illegally, the razor wire officials down there think was keeping some of them Al, and you guys just sued and won to remove it. Speaker 0: On on behalf of the border patrol who needed who needed to have better access To it. Look, let me go back to your other question and I know I'm running short on time, so I won't I won't filibuster here, but what's the plan? Please look at the stuff we've put forward. The immigration reform, legislation that the president put forward on day 1. The work we're doing in the region just last week, we had, Mexican officials here to talk about how together we have and will continue to try to stem the flow Of migrants, you mentioned the the numbers. No question there's a lot of people trying to make that journey, but it's not just to the United States, it's to other countries in the world and the in the region. We're seeing historic movement. Not not since World War 2 have we seen this many people on the move in this hemisphere, and the Mexicans are really stepping up and trying to do the more more on their southern border to keep that flow going north lower, and we have seen in recent weeks some success at that. The the the idea that we don't have a plan or strategy, we're not taking this seriously. It's just not borne out by the facts. And, you know, again, if the if the folks in that on the House Republican side are are serious about border security and they claim they are, then they should act on the supplemental request and, you know, let's negotiate this in good faith. The president has said he's willing to make, compromises. He's willing to negotiate in good faith. So so let's let's have that discussion.
