Walmart caught selling meat labeled at more than double its actual weight! https://t.co/Jj3fbhHAIc

Video Transcript AI Summary
Walmart may be misrepresenting the weight of its meat products. The speaker weighed meat purchased from Walmart and found discrepancies of over two pounds between the labeled weight and the actual weight. The speaker believes that either Walmart's scales are broken or the misrepresentation is intentional. They cite a recent case where Walmart was accused of falsely inflating the weight of grocery items and was ordered to pay $45 million on 04/09/2024. The speaker suggests this may be an ongoing problem, as the profit from misrepresenting meat weights could outweigh the fine. They believe customers shouldn't have to reweigh items to ensure accurate pricing.

Speaker 0: Looks like Walmart's doing it again. Speaker 1: 4.78 pounds. 2.2 pounds. 4.78. Two point two. Let's look at the other one, 4.9, two pounds. Walmart is getting us. You're screwing enough. Right? Speaker 0: That's more than a two pound discrepancy. A lot of grocery chains, like the meat is actually packaged on-site, like a butcher cuts it up and packages it. Unless it's changed, as I understand it, Walmart has theirs packaged elsewhere and then shipped to the location, but I believe the pricing and ticketing is still done there at the store. So either their scale is completely broken or this is intentional. And last time when I did a video about the prepackaged bacon at Walmart being way off what it was claiming to be weight wise on the package, I had a few people who messaged like, you're being an alarmist. You know, these things happen, these discrepancies. You just take it back and they give you a new one. We shouldn't have to reweigh all of our stuff to make sure that we're getting what we paid for. And you're acting like this is a one off, like, just kind of a simple mistake that happened. No. With Walmart, it seems to be more than just a one off. It seems to be an ongoing problem, because I just had to pay $45,000,000, Walmart was accused of falsely inflating weight of certain grocery items, mislabeling the weight of bagged produce, and overcharging for sold by weight clearance products. So much so that 04/09/2024 is when it was ruled that they had to give up $45,000,000, which is nothing if they're selling meat at twice the weight of what it actually is. So I would think this is still ongoing and still a problem.

All hope is not lost; plans are being made https://t.co/4w3TheS8QY

Video Transcript AI Summary
Donald Trump is making numerous appointments and sharing his plans frequently, but there's no need to engage with his divisive rhetoric. He talks about shutting down the Department of Education, which would have severe consequences for special education, but he hasn't taken action yet. The process to shut it down is complex, and there are ways to make it more difficult for him. I'm consulting with legal experts to develop strategies, and I will share those plans with everyone. Together, we can work to counteract his proposals. There is still hope, and we will make it challenging for him to implement his agenda. Stay strong.

Speaker 0: Is gonna be a quick one that hopefully will set some minds at ease. Donald Trump is making a lot of appointments. He's posting videos almost every day of his crazy plans. You're not gonna see me talking about it a lot. I'm not gonna say Elon is this and this is that. No. We're not gonna do that. I'm not gonna platform him as he just does stuff to divide and make people scared. We're gonna let him just run his mouth because right now he's just talking and he's not doing. We will deal with things as he goes to do them and only in ways that we can actually affect the change. Like, he wants to shut down the Department of Education, and that's going to have far reaching consequences. Special education, special needs schooling, all that would be shut down as a result. That would be terrible. Guess what? He hasn't done it yet, and he makes it sound like all he has to do is say, everybody go home and then turn off the lights and lock the doors. That's not how it works. There's a lot of things that have to happen to shut that down, and there's stuff that we can do to make it even more difficult. And that's what we're gonna do. I'm leaning on legal minds on people who understand this much better than I do. I'm gonna follow their lead. And when they come up with the game plans, I'm going to tell it to you, and we're all going to do it together. All hope is not lost. We're gonna make this very, very difficult for him. Hang in there.

Does Trump even know about Project 2025? https://t.co/wJMTYsJ59f

Video Transcript AI Summary
We are in the midst of a second American revolution, potentially peaceful. Donald Trump denies involvement in Project 2025, but connections to the Heritage Foundation suggest otherwise. Individuals linked to Project 2025 have ties to Trump, raising doubts about his knowledge. To verify claims, one can explore Project 2025's website for detailed information.

Speaker 0: We are in the process of the second American revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be. Speaker 1: You know what? This comment is valid, and he's not the only 1 saying stuff like this. Do we know that Donald Trump is a part of project 2025? He has his own agenda. How do we know that he's even aware of this? And here's the deal. Donald Trump claims he isn't. He posted, I know nothing about project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. He goes on to say, he disagrees with it, wishes them luck, etcetera. And you gotta take the man at his word, you know, unless there was proof out there that all or some of this is a lie. Speaker 2: Your organization is named the Heritage Foundation because you understand that our glorious heritage is the foundation of everything we hope to achieve. Which is why we need the help of the Heritage Foundation and everyone here tonight to get our tax cuts through the house, through the senate. Speaker 1: I have no idea who's behind it, he said. And then I played a clip of him talking about the Heritage Foundation to the Heritage Foundation in front of a back drop that says the Heritage Foundation on it? I would say it is a 100% impossibility that he doesn't know who Kevin Roberts, the president of the Heritage Foundation, is. Oh, look. There's Donald Trump meeting Kevin Roberts on stage stage and shaking his hand. But maybe that's the only connection or, you know, maybe not. Do you remember this guy, John McKinsey? You may have seen him recently when he got some flack because he likes to make, shitpost videos on TikTok. He made 1 where he claims he hands out counterfeit bills to homeless people in the hopes that they'll get arrested. And he used to be a personal assistant to Donald Trump during his first term. Well, as you could see, May of last year, the Heritage Foundation was proud to announce that John McKenzie joined them as part of the project 2025 team, working with them. But, hey, maybe him and Trump, they aren't so close anymore. Well, according to this article by Rolling Stone from May of this year, a full year after he was added to project 2025, Trump could make this viral TikTok or 1 of the most powerful people in government. The former president loves him. He's 1 of the architects at project 2025, and he's almost certainly going to be part of Trump's administration. He's not part of his administration yet, so I don't count that. Okay. Cool. How about her? You think Donald Trump knows her? As in her, Caroline Levitt, Trump campaign national press secretary, literally the press secretary for his current presidential campaign. And, oh, look. Here she is starring in a project 2025 Presidential Administration Academy recruitment video for the Heritage Foundation. Donald Trump looking you in the face saying he doesn't know anything about project 2025, and he doesn't know anyone who's involved in it, has the same energy as a toddler whose face is covered in chocolate frosting telling you, I have no idea who ate that cake. Lastly, I'll leave you with this. Several people have asked where did this list come from? Where can I see the list? There's a bunch of lists like this out there. If you really wanna confirm this list, honestly, I could send you to places where you can see a picture of the list but that's not really the thing. If you want to confirm all this, Google Project 2025, their website comes up and you can read the almost 1, 000 page document for yourself and see every 1 of these line items in great vivid detail, and I encourage anyone with the time, to do exactly that.

The mother of a 10 yr old went to the prinicipal of his school after seeing video of him being attacked & was told, "it's just boys being boys" https://t.co/BrzV9qmiaB

Video Transcript AI Summary
A single mother in Jenks, Oklahoma, discovered a video of her son being bullied on the school bus. The school dismissed it as boys playing around and suggested transferring buses. The mother was outraged as her son was also bullied at school. This indifference to bullying led to a 10-year-old boy in Indiana taking his life after being relentlessly bullied. The school officials failed to act despite multiple complaints. The message is clear: bullying should not be tolerated, and school staff must report such incidents. The community demands accountability from Jenks East Intermediate School.

Speaker 0: I'm gonna go ahead and tell you now if you're a decent human being, especially if you're a parent, this is gonna be one of those videos that pisses you off. Jenks, Oklahoma, which is a suburb of Tulsa, it's where this happened. A woman reached out to me on behalf of a good friend of hers who is a single mother. One of her children is a 10 year old boy. And the other day, she received a video that was recorded on his school bus of something happening to him, and I'm gonna play what I can of that for you now. Speaker 1: Stop. Okay? You can hear him talking. Don't you hear him? No. I don't know. No. On the face. Speaker 0: And she saw this, and she was understandably horrified. And she had no idea this happened, so she went to her son and said, what is this? This is the boy who's been picking on you. Already, he's beating you up on the bus. I didn't hear about this. Why didn't you tell me about this? And he said, I felt like I was my fault. Felt like I was to blame for this. Like, I brought it on myself somehow. That child's been living with this. She went to the school with the video and said, look what happened to my son. And you know what she was told? The principal said it's no big deal these are just boys playing around. If you have a problem with it you should submit to have your son transferred to another bus. That should solve it. Doesn't matter. He has to see these kids every day in school, and they do it to him there as well. At least it won't happen on the bus, I guess. Do you know what responses by school officials like that gets you? It gets you 10 year old Sammy Touche who took his life this past week in Indiana after being mercilessly bullied and picked on and beat up by other kids. And his parents said they complained 20 times at least to the school. School officials did nothing. Said no big deal. Just boys being boys and now he's gone. It was so overwhelming. It was so much. He thought it would be better to just not exist than have to deal with it any longer. So to the staff and specifically the principal at Jenks, j e n k s, Jenks East Intermediate School in Jenks, Oklahoma, I would remind you that you are mandatory reporters. A violent attack like that supposed to be reported. And you saying, you just switch buses and hoping because she's a single mother that she doesn't really know any better, and she's gonna listen to you when you say, just boys being boys. That's not gonna cut it, and we're all watching.

Is Microsoft's AI chat bot Co-pilot pushing a far right agenda? https://t.co/Y33608Ayum

Video Transcript AI Summary
Microsoft's Copilot AI tool has come under scrutiny for generating violent and sexually suggestive images, as well as biased results like associating pro choice with monsters. Additionally, users have reported links to project 2025.org, a conservative site, appearing in unrelated searches. The AI's training and potential biases are questioned.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Oh, hey. Let's talk about AI, specifically Microsoft's Copilot. It's your everyday AI companion. It's an AI bot that you can enter text prompts into, and it will either pull up information about something you're asking about. It can write documents for you. It can generate images based on those text prompts. And, of course, it's for Microsoft, so it's not gonna do anything bad. Right? Well, that depends on whether or not you ask Shane Jones. He's a Microsoft engineer who warns the company's AI tool creates violent sexual images and ignores copyrights. Shane worked for Microsoft, and he was putting it through the paces. He's there to test whether or not it has flaws or bugs or creates things that are harmful or dangerous. It's called red teaming. And he found some problems. He found ways that it would create, graphic violent images or sexually suggestive images. Certain prompts would bring up images of underage drinking or drug use. A prompt like car wreck was generating images of mangled cars along with women who were scantily clad in suggestive poses. But one thing in particular stood out to me. He said simply by putting the term pro choice into Copilot Designer with no other prompting, Jones found the tool generated a slew of cartoon images depicting demons, monsters, and violent scenes. The images, which were viewed by CNBC, included a demon with a sharp teeth about to eat an infant, Darth Vader holding a lightsaber next to a mutated infant, and handheld drill like devices labeled pro choice being used on a fully grown baby. There were also images of blood pouring from smiling women surrounded by happy doctors and huge uterus in a crowded area surrounded by burning torches and a man with a devil's pitchfork standing next to a demon and a machine labeled pro choice. And then CNBC did their own tests and had similar images generated. And he's like, this is, 1, images that should not be creating, period. And, 2, why is it showing what is clearly a biased opinion of the term pro choice? It's generating images that show people who are pro choice as being monsters or demons or creatures of some kind, which brings into question what trains the AI that made it think that was the correct response? But I have something to add to the conversation, and that's why I'm making this video. On the same day that I saw that article, a teacher reached out to me. She reached out to me and said that her and at least one of her students had an odd experience utilizing Copilot. When they were searching for things, it brought up something that didn't seem to match the search, and she sent me some screenshots. So here we go. Here's one of them. I was searching what's the cost of a home inspection in Long Beach, California, and it comes up with some some answers there along with links that could be relevant. Another thing was, create an image of a Maltipoo Mini dog sitting on the pillows of a white couch looking out a window with a white wall behind it. It created those images, again, along with some links. How about dog food for pancreatitis, which, again, gave information on what kind of food would be good for a dog suffering from pancreatitis, along with relative links and also a search on torn rotator cuffs and relative links. All of these things seem pretty uninvolved with each other except maybe the dog food and the image of a dog just because they both say dog. Otherwise, I'd say none of these topics have anything in common except all of these results have something in common. Did you catch what it was? It had to do with the links that they provided. I went ahead and put them all here. Do you see it yet? Do you see what they all have in common? Here. Let me help. All of those searches, one of the links that could be relative to the search that it generated was to project 2025.org. All of them came up with project 2025.org. And if you don't know what that is, it's what the Heritage Foundation put out as the plan for America should Donald Trump win the presidency again. It's a mandate for him. It's a mandate for Republicans, and the site is designed to show it in a very favorable and positive light. It has their policy agenda. It has this book, Mandate for Leadership, The Conservative Promise. It is designed so that you, the visitor coming to the site, see this as a very good thing and not what it really is, a promise of revenge, oppression, and autocratic rule that, if allowed, will cement America as a right wing authoritarian state, and these aren't just like clickbait titles. It is scary, scary stuff. So my question is when I search torn rotator cuff, why does it want me to go to project 2025.org? What does the conservative promise have to do with a multi poo or for that matter, home inspections in Long Beach, California? I asked the teacher and said, well, did you maybe search for this earlier on your computer? Had you been looking up project 2025 and then afterward you did this? She said, no. I didn't look it up or really know that much about it until it started popping up as a link. And then, yeah, then I went to it because it was there, and I was like, what is this? And I was like, wait. Why is this here? Why is it showing me this? And like I said, at least one of her students got the same results when entering things into Copilot. Now I downloaded Copilot and tried doing the same searches to see if I would get the same results, and I did not get project 2025. But then again, I was not logged in, and it doesn't know anything about me. They use it very frequently and have been for a while. I'm not signed in. It doesn't know if I'm a man or a woman, how old I am, where I live. It does know that information about them in theory. And I still thought, maybe this is just a coincidence. Maybe it's a weird thing until I saw this. And then I started going, wait. It seems to be leaning to one side or the other, and AI is just a thoughtless animal. It only knows what it's trained on, which begs the question, what is it trained on that it sees pro choice as monsters and it's pushing project 2025?

I'd love to know why the LAPD thought putting Killer Mike in cuffs at the Grammy's was necessary https://t.co/3W5SJuFXwo

Video Transcript AI Summary
Killer Mike won 3 Grammys, a well-deserved accomplishment. However, he was later handcuffed by the LAPD and questioned about a misdemeanor altercation before the Grammys. The speaker refuses to show the video, emphasizing that we should focus on Killer Mike's success instead of perpetuating negative stereotypes. In Los Angeles, it is common for law enforcement to contact celebrities' agents or management to schedule discussions, rather than publicly humiliating them. The speaker questions the motive behind this treatment and expresses frustration that tomorrow's headlines will likely overshadow Killer Mike's Grammy wins.

Speaker 0: And the Grammy goes to Killer Mike. Michael. Even in the week, you cannot tell me that you get too old. Speaker 1: Killer Mike won 3 Grammys tonight, which is no small feat. It's an amazing accomplishment, well deserved. And then the LAPD came, put handcuffs on him, and paraded him to the back, to question him about a Physical altercation that happened before the Grammys began, apparently. Now there's video of it. Guess what? I'm not gonna show it. The only video we should be watching Tonight is him on stage winning those awards. He received the highest honor that he can, pretty much, acknowledging his artistry, acknowledging Excellence within his craft. I'm not gonna play a video that diminishes him to being another black man in handcuffs Being paraded by police, which is what it feels like. And I already know there's gonna be people who are like, yeah, but a crime was committed and they have to do the let's Let's break this down. The crime, first of all, just spoke to an official who tells me it's a misdemeanor and has nothing to do with anything that happened today here inside the arena, Likely he will be released once it's sorted. It's a big nothing, source says. This is Los Angeles. When someone of notoriety, Like a celebrity, actor, singer, etcetera, does something police wanna talk to them about in Los Angeles? They usually contact their agent or their management and, like, schedule it. They don't go and make a spectacle of them, putting them in cuffs and parading them around. Why would police do that? What possible reason would law enforcement have to try and embarrass and belittle him in that way? You know, it's like I just can't quite put my finger on it. Tomorrow, the headlines are gonna be filled with Killer Mike's name, And him winning 3 Emmys is gonna be a footnote, and that pisses me off.

A young black woman working as armed security in Detroit gets into a car accident with minors who may be underage. She calls her mom and an insurance agent, while the minors call their parents. The situation escalates when the minors falsely claim that she pulled a firearm on them, leading to a physical assault on her and her boyfriend. The assault is recorded by her sister on a FaceTime call that was still connected. The minors steal her phone but it is later recovered. The woman files a police report, but feels harassed when a detective starts questioning her and her family. The video ends with a plea for law enforcement to take action against the assault and theft.

Speaker 0: Did you get the fuck out of that dude? So a young black woman is working as armed security for a bar in Detroit. She is working New Year's Eve. It is now New Year's morning like 2 in the morning. She's off shift, and her and her boyfriend are driving home. While driving, they are suddenly hit by another vehicle, hit hard enough that it spins them around several times. They end up facing the wrong way in the road. They get out of their car. The people in the other car get out. She notices very quickly that the other people appear to all be minors, so young that she thinks perhaps they're not old enough to drive. She asks, are you even old enough to drive? They say yes, and the minor who is driving produces a driver's license that she takes a picture of. But she does say that they appear to possibly be inebriated. So on her phone, she calls her mom on FaceTime to let her know what's going on. On her boyfriend's phone, she calls an insurance agent to tell them what's going on and report the accident. Meanwhile, the minor calls his parents, his mother, father, and stepfather, who arrive shortly after. She she says the mother seems reasonable and level headed, but the minor lies according to her and tells the 2 men that she pulled a firearm on them. Now she is armed security. She's licensed to carry. She has a gun on her hip, but she says at no point did she ever pointed at them or drawed. There was no altercation where she felt unsafe, and they're minors. But allegedly, at that point, the 2 men attack her and her boyfriend. They begin to physically assault them. They say the miner joins in on this. At one point, she ends up on her back on the ground with the father on top of her. She says he raised back his fist to punch her, at which point and I'm just gonna paraphrase from my own words here. She basically says, you know, I do have a firearm. If you hit me and make me skin this smoke wagon, it's not gonna go well for you. And at that point, he gets off of her. They all jump in a car and take off, but she figures out they don't do this before one of them reaches into her car and steals her phone. Now you may remember I said she called her mom on FaceTime. She never hung up that call. And when they grabbed the phone and took off, that call was still connected. The mother and her sister were on their way to meet her. The sister just happened to be recording. And then they started hearing the people who had taken the phone, say this. Fuck Oh, that was coming, buddy. Fuck that, brother. They don't fucking blind people, bro. They think they're fucking Just curious. They're playing. Damn fucking good, Dear So you leave the scene of an accident, and then your son incriminates all of you stating that you all participated in an assault, and you brag about how you stole the phone. Now they did get the phone back because her stepfather was tracking the phone, and they threw it out on the freeway. And after looking for quite some time, they found it, so they physically got the phone back. But better yet, they know everyone who's involved. Jay Sears, the one she says was on top of her that she had to tell what would happen if he didn't get off. The one who you hear the boys say, Jay did this, and then is bragging about taking that effing whore's phone. And Jason Goldie who was also there and participated in the assault, allegedly. And it doesn't matter a lot, but is anyone shocked that the house of 1 of these individuals has a Trump flag flying. Does that surprise anyone? So what does she do? She calls the police, naturally. She goes in and files a report. And then you know what happens? She gets word that a detective has shown up at her work asking questions about her. Then she hears the same detective has shown up at family members' houses asking questions about her. She starts feeling more like the suspect than the victim, so she calls the detective and says, hey. Is there anything more you need from me? She says the detective says, I'm gonna have to meet with you, and becomes aggressive toward her, and she, quite frankly, feels harassed by the detective. So to law enforcement, to the detectives involved, what exactly is the issue here? You have an audio recording, which is legal, by the way, because Michigan is a single consent state. You have a confession of an assault bragging about punching him in the back of the head, bragging about stealing the phone, and you know they left the scene of an accident. The only thing that maybe happened in this kid's favor is if he was inebriated, he's probably not catching a DUI because it's too late to prove that, but still fled the scene, still assault, still theft. What exactly are you all doing about this? I promise you, we're gonna be watching. We're gonna be waiting to see how you handle it. And if you don't handle it well, everyone's gonna

Two different men have been arrested for the death of Samantha Woll for two very different motives, but it doesn't make sense. https://t.co/WrWRckZU6N

Video Transcript AI Summary
Samantha Wolff, a synagogue president from Detroit, was found stabbed to death outside her home. An arrest was made in November, but a recent report reveals a different suspect. The new suspect, Michael Jackson Bolonis, was allegedly breaking into cars in the area and was inside Samantha's home when she arrived. A confrontation occurred, leading to her stabbing. Initially, her death was treated as a domestic dispute, but the first suspect was released. The current suspect's arrest raises questions about how he gained entry without signs of forced entry and why nothing was stolen. The case's handling suggests an attempt to make it go away, which may attract attention.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: So this is Samantha Wolff, the synagogue president from Detroit who was found stabbed to death outside of her home a couple months back. I did a video about it then. I think I might have even done 2 videos. I did see that an arrest had been made back in early November, and I had other stuff going on, and it just seemed like that was all being taken care of, that it wasn't a situation where it was a hate crime, so I was like, okay. That's good. And then I saw something today about the person arrested, and I'm like, that's not the person I saw in November. So I did some digging. First, I'm gonna play the report about The person who is now arrested and charged with her murder. Speaker 1: Now let's get right into the suspect that has been arrested and now charged with homicide, and entering in line to a police officer. You're taking a look at 28 year old Michael Jackson Bolonis. He was arrested this week. They do not believe that Michael Jackson Bolanos knew Samantha Wole. What their working theory is at this time is he was breaking into cars in the area The night that Samantha Woll came home from a wedding, he was actually inside of her home. When she got there, there was some kind of confrontation, and that is when they believe Boulanis stabbed her. Speaker 0: Okay. So that's the guy. He's being charged with murder and with a home invasion. But like I said, that's not the guy that I saw announced back in November. Now they didn't name the guy back then, but they did allude to a motive that was definitely different. One source said her death is being treated as a domestic dispute. And when I saw that, I said, okay. Makes sense. There was no signs of forced entry, nothing missing, stabbing like that. It seems more personal. What I hadn't seen is how a couple of days later, that person was released by police. And even in this article announcing that by CNN, it said investigators are treating her death as rising from a domestic dispute, not from, like, a robbery or a home invasion gone wrong. And then that suspect was released, and now this guy is arrested, and they're saying it was a home invasion gone wrong. Now they're saying he was inside when she opened the door and came home. How? Because they have all along maintained there were no signs of forced entry. How was he in the home? I have a hard time believing she left her door unlocked. And then he's in the home and let's say, okay. She opens the door, she surprises him, and he proceeds to stab her 8 times in the head and neck, which is a really weird place to stab someone. The vast majority of the time when someone is stabbed multiple times, it is to the mid Actually, chest, stomach. You get defensive wounds on the hands and arms if they're fighting back, not to the head and neck. Like, 8 times the head and neck is someone who wants you to die. That's what they're trying to accomplish. So you're telling me this guy's in the house. She opens the door. He panics, I guess, and stabs her 8 times in the head and neck and then leaves. Meanwhile, no signs of forced entry and he took nothing. Like, had he just gotten in the house before she opened the door? Why didn't he have anything? Even if he had, like, collected things and hadn't made it out yet and panicked When he stabbed her, you would think they would find the pile of loot, but they're saying there was no evidence that there was a robbery, but they're also saying not a hate crime. Definitely not a hate crime. And this is after you arrested a different man for this and called it a domestic dispute. And believe me, the new guy, his attorney noticed. He made statements like, I wanna know who was the 1st person they arrested and why did they let that guy go because my client didn't do this. It feels like you went after the first obvious choice, someone she was probably romantically involved with. When that didn't pan out, You found a guy who'd been breaking into cars in the area and went, he'll do. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but It really feels like you're just trying to make this case go away, and people are gonna notice.

Speaker 0: We've had thieves here, and you're a thief. Speaker 1: Do you think you're mad? Speaker 2: Houston, Texas. There's an affluent neighborhood there apparently called River Oaks. That's where this happens. A young black woman is delivering packages for Amazon. She goes into a apartment building. A resident holds a door for her and allows her to enter. Another holds the elevator, and she gets on. When she goes to get off at the 2nd floor to deliver the package, the resident on the elevator goes, no. You have to take that to the concierge desk. Well, the instructions on the package say, please deliver too sweet. They don't want it going to the concierge. They want it brought to them directly, so she tries to honor the delivery instructions. The resident on the elevator exits, starts making a scene. She starts yelling about how she refuses to go to the concierge and trying to stop her. That's when a separate resident, an older white woman, hears this, And then that's who you're going to see assaulting her. Speaker 1: I don't even care. You don't give a shit. You look that strong enough. Speaker 0: Yeah. We've had thieves here, And you're a thief? Speaker 1: Excuse me. Don't touch me. No. Don't touch me. Excuse me. Let me Excuse me. Please don't touch me. Don't touch me. Me. Who am I touching me? Okay. Yeah. Do that, please, because she No. I'm not. Security. Thank you. Please call security. On mute. On mute. Thank you. Please call Excuse me, ma'am. Excuse me, ma'am. You're Excuse me. Here. Speaker 0: You're welcome. She's attacking me. Please don't keep attacking me. She's attacking me. Speaker 1: Please call security. Excuse me, ma'am. Speaker 0: Stop here. Speaker 1: Excuse me, ma'am. Speaker 0: Stop here. Speaker 1: Excuse me. Excuse me, ma'am. Excuse me. Amazon. Do that, please. Oh, please. Please do it. Speaker 2: We've had thieves, and you're a thief. That woman is wearing an Amazon vest and carrying a package. What do you think made that woman so confident that she was a thief. What do you think stood out about her that made her qualify in her eyes as a thief? Means that older woman assaults her multiple times, strikes her, grabs her, knocks the package out of her hand. And when a second woman gets involved and says, I'm calling security, and the delivery person says, yes. Please do. That woman says, no. I'm calling them on you. And the woman who has been assaulting her goes, oh, she hit me. Imagine if this delivery woman didn't pull out her phone and start recording. She would have 2 older white women who are residents there saying, oh, she came in here. She's trying to steal. She assaulted her. She assaulted me. She hit me. If she didn't have that video to prove that she was the one being victimized and assaulted so affectionately in the video referred as Karen 1 and Karen 2, like, they're out of some sort of twisted doctor Seuss. This is the assaulter, and this is little miss, I'm calling security on you. Houston, River Oaks area. Please do me a kindness and let me know

The trouble with Drew.

Video Transcript AI Summary
Drew Barrymore's decision to continue her talk show during the ongoing strike has caused controversy. Despite claiming compliance with the strike, audience members supporting the Writers Guild of America (WGA) were removed, and WGA-related items were confiscated from attendees. This undermines the strike and sends a dangerous message that the show can function without writers. The strike is not just about AI, but also about issues like residuals, which provide income for writers and actors between jobs. Streaming platforms like Netflix pay significantly less in royalties compared to traditional syndication, as demonstrated by the show "Suits." Drew's actions have sparked backlash and could have far-reaching effects on unions. It is important to seek more information and support the writers.

Speaker 0: Let's talk about this really quickly. I think a lot of people are confused about whether or not this is an issue. It is, and I wanna try to explain. For those who didn't hear, Drew Barrymore decided to start back up her talk show on Monday despite the strike being ongoing. Now Now she made a statement about how she'd walked away from hosting the MTV Movie Awards because of the strikes, but that she was making a choice to come back to the show. And she also said, We are in compliance with not discussing and promoting film and television that is struck of any kind. We watched a global pandemic, etcetera. But here's the thing. They're not in clients. They are crossing the line and they seem to know it. On the 1st day that she returned, 2 audience members who had pins supporting the WGA were removed from the audience. And then on Tuesday, people came out of the show said their bags were searched and anyone who had anything that was WGA related had it removed and taken from them. It seems like she's saying she's in compliance because she's doing her show without her writing staff. And you might think, well, perhaps they support that decision. I would say no, considering this is the co head writer of her show And these are some of her writers literally striking out in front of her show. Literally saying she is breaking the strike. And it matters because it undermines the strike and sends a dangerous message which is we could do the show without writers. And that's something that in things like the negotiations, The studio representatives will argue. Look. This show doesn't need you. They don't need their writers. They could do it without to you. If they could do it without the writers all of the time, they would have never hired writers in the 1st place. I'd like to take this opportunity to talk about something that the writers are fighting for. We hear AI thrown around a lot and that's certainly part of it, but it's definitely more than just that. For example, residuals. Residuals are something that both writers and actors rely on to keep them going in between jobs. The idea is supposed to be you took part in in creating this art and now you're going to reap the benefits of it being successful. That's for the original network or studio where it aired as well as syndication. That's always been something that's been very lucrative for both the parties that own that project as well as the actors and the writers. Now streaming introduced a whole new avenue for syndication, but the powers that be decided it shouldn't pay the same as traditional syndication. For example, the show Suits is having, like, a whole new resurgence now. People are discovering that show for the first time. It started in, I think, 2011 and ran through 2019, so, like, 8 years. And during that time, it had just around 25 writers on the show. Now, it can be seen on several streaming platforms, but it's really blown up on Netflix in particular. On Netflix, it has been streamed over 3,000,000,000 minutes. That's billion with a B. And out of that 3,000,000,000 minutes, it has been streamed. All of the writers on that show, all 25, collectively have received right around $3,000 in royalties. 3,000,000,000 minutes of people watching the show equaled $3,000 split between 25 people. Hell, one of the main writers on the series, The Bear, had to have a full time job in the real world while he was writing the show because, otherwise, he couldn't pay his bills. And when someone like Drew crosses the line and runs her show anyway, it undermines all of that. And that's why it's starting to affect her. That's why she's starting to get backlash. Drew seems to think she came back to help her audience. It's not helping your audience. This is much bigger than just the Writers Guild and the Actors Guild. This has far reaching effects for unions everywhere. The outcome of the strike will help other unions if it is positive. And if you need more information on what is really going on, you need only look outside of your own studio and talk to your own writers.
