TH1 Immune response is responsible for addressing viral infections, cancer , bacterial infections , protozoa . When someone becomes acutely ill, they are generating a TH1 mediated immune response. A healthy immune system is always skewed towards a TH1 response. Innate immune function produces nonspecific immune cells to destroy pathogens before they have a chance to spread out in the body.. TH2 immune response is rooted in allergic reactions. Normally, exposure to hormone and nervous system disrupting toxins will shift immune system to a TH2 dominant state. When immune function has shifted to TH2 , underlying infections will flare, spread and can become chronic. TH1 based immune response is associated with proper endocrine and nervous system function. TH2 based immune response is associated with hormone imbalances and nervous system problems. Excess estrogen is linked with TH2 and hyper allergic responses. When you give someone a vaccine with an adjuvant like aluminum, for instance, it provokes a TH2 immune response.
