Then on February 8, Khaled was shopping by bicycle in Gaza town. But being troubled, and the army was on the lookout for likely troublemakers, Khadar was nervous.

After ten hours of semi consciousness, Qadar was transferred to an Israeli hospital. It is still not clear when or where he died. It was certainly a full forty eight hours after the first beating that the Israelis handed over his body. This man has been in hospital for two weeks and nearly died of his injuries. Both his legs and both his arms were broken by soldiers.
According to United Nations figures, more than one thousand Palestinians in Gaza alone have required medical attention after beatings. And doctors stress that the most spectacular injuries are not necessarily the most dangerous. Broken bones will mend. Damage to soft tissue and internal organs can mean permanent pain and disability. An old woman is being rushed into casualty.

There's actually a slide showing the ruins of Gaza in this PowerPoint presentation. Then the population is separated according to those who support Hamas, who will be liquidated, and those who are just the rest of Gaza, who will then get humanitarian aid.
The number three is rebuilding under the control or auspices of a kind of dictatorial strongman authority imposed by The United Arab Emirates following a normalization deal with Israel. So Israel's kind of working behind the good Arabs. And then slide stage number four. In 2035, Gaza will begin to produce electric car plants, factories, producing Teslas using, in the words of this PowerPoint presentation, relatively cheap Gazan labor to produce these cars for Gulf and US companies, and it's a win win. It's presented as a win win that can be used as a model for Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon, the next targets on the Israeli kill list to destroy the remaining members of the axis of resistance.
And that plan, I mean, it's clear as day. I think Trump may have kind of misinterpreted it and tried to reframe it in crude, barbaric, what he considers America first language. But let's go into the context of what that verse actually means and it's talking about before we base our entire livelihood on it. So this was something said by God directly to Abraham in Genesis, the very first book of the Bible in the Old Testament, where God is speaking directly to Abraham, the forefather of the nation of Israel, where he says, I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse those who curse you.
And through you, I will bless all nations. It has been a household secret but every self respecting Dutch historian knows that our national colonial past centered around a small number of families from the province of Zealand as well as from the Amsterdam area. Colonialism and slavery had by no means been a national effort, but rather the doings of private companies such as the Dutch East India Company and their invested families. Who were they? Who were the families who started the Dutch slave trade?
Let's take a step back to see the bigger picture. Since their arrival around the fourth century AD, when they settled near present day Cologne or colony Germany, European Jews had begun to colonize Europe's riverside and coastal cities situated along the Rhine, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Of particular interest, due to the role they would play in the Dutch slave trade, are Jewish merchants living in Antwerp during the sixteenth century, descendants of Portuguese immigrants, so called Sephardi Jews or Sephardim. When troops led by Spanish commander Parma next conquered the now Belgian harbor city of Antwerp in the year 1564, many of its Jewish merchants left for the Catholic province of Zealand in the northern Dutch provinces in the Rhine Delta. Having previously been expelled from the Iberian Peninsula by the Spanish king, many members of this mercantile class settled in the towns of Vlissingen and Middelburg.
There, they set up trade blockades to try and disrupt Antwerp's economic affairs as a way of getting back at the Spanish oppressor. Within a few years, some of these merchants moved on to Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and another portion settled in Dutch Guiana, Latin America, now called Suriname. The migrating Jews met with fierce competition from the natives. Northern Europe's local traders had, for many centuries, been trading wood, grain, salt and herring along a network of so called Hanza cities. However, the Jewish Portuguese merchants eventually won the upper hand as they introduced a new type of good and they called it living ebony, slaves.
The Jews of Antwerp didn't have to invent this trade though. Slave trade had been an identifying hallmark of European Jewry ever since their arrival, often competing for market share against the Turks and Arabs. Pre Islamic Arabs were the original inventors of black slavery almost a thousand years before pale skinned men of the North set foot in Africa. After their supplantion of the slave trade to Middleburg, the new Jews of Zealand founded the West Indian Company, the WIC, which later merged with the Middleburg Commercial Company, the MCC. With the arrival of the slave trade also came the first introduction of the practice of black slave ownership in the Dutch provinces.
By the late sixteenth century Sephardi Jews had already established themselves a popular slave market in Liverpool, England. And in the year 1596 a Portuguese ship arrived at the Dutch harbour of Millburg carrying a cargo of approximately 100 West African slaves, the first in the region. When Jewish merchants then intended to sell their human ebony, they shocked the Catholic Dutch natives. The local mayor of Middelburg, Adrian Tenhof was forced to shut down the Jews' slave market. Tenhof officially declared that human beings could not be anyone's property and that the African subjects therefore could not be sold to anyone.
On 11/15/1596, the Dutch provinces announced by decree that coming Sunday all Catholic churches across The Netherlands should declare from the pulpit that black slaves were to be released to freedom. To no avail. The WIC's slave trade continued, disregarding their host nation's laws. By the year 1650, a small but criminal elite was making exorbitant profit off of slavery in Northwestern Europe. They did not just trade colored people.
Slaves also included white political dissidents, prisoners of war and Catholic Irishmen. Regular transports of white slaves disembarked from French harbors of Dieppe, Le Havre and La Rochelle, often young people barely out of childhood, shipping the youngsters to the Dutch Antilles where Sephardi Jews had set up a distribution center for sending slaves further on to the American inland. By the year 1760, about 70,000 slaves were being traded each year on British, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Arab slave vessels And at this point the Jewish merchants from Antwerp controlled just about nine percent of the total slave trade. A fairly meager score compared to England which had made itself global market leader. While the Transatlantic slave trade was operating in full force, a different breed of slavers was pirating the Mediterranean Sea.
Scouring the coastal towns of Italy, Spain, France and sometimes even England and The Netherlands, they kidnapped and enslaved any able-bodied men, women and children they could catch. Even the Irish towns of Baltimore and South England cities of Devon and Cornwall were frequented by these slavers. And with success, compared to the approximately 4,000,000 African slaves that ended up being brought to The Americas, up to 3,000,000 white European slaves also fell victim to the robbers who traded them on the markets of Tripoli, Tunis and Algiers in North Africa. Interestingly, these capital cities are now the main points of departure for migrants coming to Europe today. But back then, many of the captured whites ended up living out their whole lives as slaves and as property of predominantly Semitic owners.
One of the most powerful traders in this region, sometimes referred to as the Barbary Coast, was Samuel Palaci, an unscrupulous rabbi born in the city of Fez, Morocco. He was a merchant, weapons dealer, spy, pirate and slaver in one. Contemporary Jewish author Edward Kritzler calls Palacci the pirate rabbi and he was one of many of Jewish pirates that had made the Mediterranean their hunting ground ever since the early Roman times. European slaves in general were not treated well. Most of them were kept as galley slaves, chained to the benches and oars for several decades, forced to help their pirate masters in search of greater profits.
Thousands died in change or simply lost their minds. Others were dumped in overpopulated barns as though they were cattle, fed two pieces of dark bread a day and barely any water to weaken them to the point they could neither escape nor revolt. Speaker 0: So did you know that at one point in time, Jews were essentially banned from The United States? Well, now that sounds rather odd and extreme, which yeah. Yeah. It is. But please, allow me to tell you the story because this is a bit of a new thing and it was something that I learned about recently myself.
Back during the American Civil War in 1862, there was a man by the name of Caesar Cascull who received a letter. And that letter was short, but its meaning was very clear and completely devastating to him and his family. It said, quote, you are hereby ordered to leave the city of Paducah, Kentucky within twenty four hours. Now Cascull simply couldn't believe it. He had immigrated to The United States after leaving Prussia where he was discriminated against and financially ruined because of the fact that he was Jewish.
Now you had the union army that was telling him that he was being expelled from his new home and his business for the exact same reason. Kaskel was about to become one of the Jewish people that was being ordered to leave towns. This being in Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee, all all during the course of the civil war where they were the victims of general order number 11, which was a discriminatory wartime declaration issued by general Ulysses S. Grant. And this whole thing is huge because Grant's declaration was the most sweeping anti Jewish declaration in all of American history.
Nothing else even comes close to it. But the ironic part about the entire thing is that despite the fact that this was an extremely wide reaching sweeping regulation, this whole thing wasn't actually meant to just target Jewish people. Like, yes, they were swept up in the whole thing and it did directly target them, but the actual purpose of the legislation was to go after speculators. Not that it really matters though, because although in 1862, the orders were aimed at cotton speculators, they gave all Jews, whether they were speculators or not, just twenty four hours to leave their homes, their businesses, and their entire lives behind. It was the culmination of a wave of antisemitic thought that had swept through The United States in just a few years before the American civil war.
Because you see, by 1860, there had been an approximate 150,000 to 200,000 Jewish people in The United States, which was a massive change from the only 15,000 that were there in 1840. That dramatic rise in population was a result of the severe poverty and discrimination that was occurring largely in Germany and Central Europe where Jewish people were oftentimes excluded from trade and prevented from marrying or subject to pogroms or other forms of violence because of their religion. For So many of the Jews, The United States was the perfect place that would offer them the kind of economic and social freedom that would be necessary to actually have their lives. But all of that being said, Jewish immigrants were not always and very often were straight up not welcome in many of the places that they came to. New Jewish enclaves that would appear in northern cities were oftentimes viewed with great suspicion.
And when things broke out in civil war, well, it got significantly worse. But why you may wonder? Well, almost as soon as the war began, illegal trade and smuggling between the Northern states and the Southern states also started. Although the union had blockaded southern ports, goods still made their way over the border and people who were seeking profit would continue their trade illicitly, especially as the price of cotton would rise due to the embargo. After all, the majority of agricultural crops that were being produced in The United States were being made in the South, Just as the majority of industrial goods were being made in the North.
Thus, there was always still parties that would go against the government in order to try and turn a profit. The issue was with this is that not only are the traders violating the government's rules, but simultaneously in trading, they are possibly damaging the war effort itself. With both sides now having two different forms of currency, oftentimes goods were traded for other goods. Cotton would oftentimes be traded for other types of manufactured goods. Now this could be in the form of clothing or in some cases, there was always a risk that it could be traded for in terms of ammunition.
And when you are literally providing the bullets to the enemy that you are currently fighting, then you kind of have a little bit of an issue on your hand. So you had this increasingly growing black market that was continuing to frustrate both governments. And what they found was that there was a kind of perfect scapegoat that to a degree was involved, that being the Jews. And for general Ulysses s Grant, who was one of the Union Army's most influential officials, this was infuriating. He was angered by the cotton smuggling that would damage the Union's ability to squeeze the South economically.
And in his eyes, the perpetrators were all or at least primarily Jewish, though this wasn't actually borne out by any evidence. Although Jewish people were active as peddlers, merchants, and traders, and there were some that undoubtedly would make money speculating on cotton, these did not make up the bulk of the black marketeers. Just compared to their overall population, they made up perhaps a disproportionate number. So in August 1862, as Grant is going and preparing the Union army to take Vicksburg, he commands his men to start examining the baggage of all speculators, giving special attention to Jews. In November, he then told his subordinates that they were going to refuse to let Jews receive permits to travel south of Jackson, Mississippi or to travel southward on the railroad.
But while this was bad, nothing drastic had happened yet. At least that being until Grant's father got involved in the whole thing. You see, December 1862, Grant's father came down to visit him along with some, quote, friends from Ohio. Grant soon realized though that these friends, who were Jewish, were actually just speculators that were hoping to gain access to captured cotton from the Union army, which absolutely infuriated Grant. Oh, and when Ford sold people cars, he didn't charge them interest because he believed that usury was a sin. So he allowed people to pay for their cars in installments, and the price listed was the price paid.
And if corporations today were ran the way Henry Ford ran things, the world would be such a better place. But the court ruled in favor of the Dodge Brothers establishing shareholder primacy that the interest of corporate shareholders is legally above everything else, profits over people. Most directory assistance calls and virtually all call records and billing in The US are done for the phone companies by Amdocs Limited, an Israeli based private telecommunications company. Amdocs has contracts with the 25 biggest phone companies in America and more worldwide. It is virtually impossible to make a call on normal phones without generating an Amdocs record of it. In recent years, the FBI and other government agencies have investigated Amdocs more than once.
Sources tell Fox News that in 1999, the super secret national security agency headquartered in Northern Maryland issued what's called a top secret sensitive compartmentalized information report, TSSCI, warning that records of calls in The United States were getting into foreign hands, in Israel in particular. Fox News has learned that the NSA has held numerous classified conferences to warn the FBI and CIA how Amdoc's records could be used. So if you know the name of a police officer or even if you know the name just of an informant, you can follow that network of who's talking to who and basically determine that whole association of names and contacts that represent that unit of of operation. Fox News has documents of a 1997 drug trafficking case in Los Angeles in which telephone information, the types that Amdocs collects, was used to quote completely compromise the communications of the FBI, the Secret Service, the DEA, and the LAPD.

Some people might think that Mister Roosevelt wanted to get us into World War two as Dave mentioned you may recall we had to wait for Pearl Harbor. Some people might think Mister Wilson wanted to get us into World War one you may recall he had to wait for the Lusitania episode. What drove the wartime inflation into hyperinflation was speculation by foreign investors, who sold the mark short, betting on its decreasing value. In the manipulative device known as the short sale, speculators borrow something they don’t own, sell it, and then “cover” by buying it back at the lower price. Speculation in the German mark was made possible because the PRIVATELY OWNED Reichsbank (not yet under Nazi control) made massive amounts of currency available for borrowing. This currency, like U.S. currency today, was created with accounting entries on the bank’s books. Then the funny-money was lent at compound interest. When the Reichsbank could not keep up with the voracious demand for marks, other private banks were allowed to create marks out of nothing, and to lend them at interest. The result was runaway debt and inflation. Thus, according to Schacht himself, the German government did not cause the Weimar hyperinflation. On the contrary, the government (under the National Socialists) got hyperinflation under control. The National Socialists put the Reichsbank under strict government regulation, and took prompt corrective measures to eliminate foreign speculation. Most people simply left their gold in the goldsmith's vault, and the goldsmith wrote out paper receipts for their gold. Soon, people started trading these receipts as money.
However, the goldsmiths soon learned two very important ways to abuse their new system. First of all, they discovered that on average, only about 10% of the depositors actually wanted their gold back at any one time. So if they were dishonest, they could print 10 paper receipts for every one ounce of gold in their vault. Then they could lend these extra receipts out to people. What a scam.
So if they were lending out at 6% per year, their profit wouldn't just be 6% per year, it would really be 10 times that or 60% per year. In reality, this is called fractional reserve lending, but it was nothing but counterfeiting. But fractional reserve lending not only made the goldsmiths rich, it gave them control over the quantity of money in the entire economy. What good was that? By acting in concert with other goldsmiths.
If they refused to lend out their gold receipts and call in their old loans, it caused a depression. The second thing the goldsmiths learned was that if they could get the king to borrow from them, then soon the king would become dependent on these loans being renewed time and time again. Once the king was dependent on new loans, the goldsmiths could make sure that no new laws would ever be passed which would harm their counterfeiting business, the most lucrative business in the history of humanity.
Speaker 5: Just think of it, the a system where some people, because they have a special license to do it, can lend the same money five, ten, 15, or 20 times to that many different people or companies or governments and collect interest on it from each one of them. Well, this is just grand larceny.
Speaker 4: Human nature is to take any loan offered. In the case of politicians, the attraction is clear. If a politician can borrow, they will spend more on their constituents without having to raise their taxes and thereby get reelected. That's why government borrowing is the most dangerous force on the planet, dangerous to human freedom that is.
Speaker 6: What is the proper relationship? What should be the proper relationship between a chairman of the Fed and a president of The United States?
Speaker 7: Well, first of all, the Federal Reserve is an independent agency and that means basically that there is no eight other agency of government which can overrule actions that we take. So long as that is in place and there is no evidence that the administration or the congress or anybody else is requesting that we do things other than what we think is the appropriate thing, then what the relationships are don't frankly matter. And I've had very good relationships presidents.
Speaker 4: Today's Fed is nothing but a private monopoly over the nation's money. It pretends to be able to control how much money banks create out of nothing as loans. But as we found out during the 2,008 congressional hearings, instead of lending out only 10 times as much money as they actually had, the biggest banks were lending out 50 times as much or more. Why haven't we heard this before? Why isn't this common knowledge?
Why isn't the root of our economic problems taught in every classroom around the world? Because the three major pathways of truthfully informing the public have been blocked by those who make money off the debt money system. There is now no penalty for a politician selling his soul to bankers. The vast majority of president Obama's top campaign contributors were the biggest banks. The same goes for the Republican nominee in 02/2012, Mitt Romney.
So we need a new crop of politicians who will tell us the truth about how money is created and in whose benefit.
Speaker 8: So when it comes to the national debt, you would not have had a national debt if we'd not given the power to create money to the banking sector. You need to take that power to create money back to a public body. So you don't give that power to politicians because they'll abuse it in the same way that the banks have done.
Speaker 9: Yesterday, a judge approved the settlement with SAC Capital, a $602,000,000 fine for civil insider trading. One asks whether $602,000,000 fine is likely to have much effect, of course, that the owner and CEO of SEC Capital took home last year in compensation $1,400,000,000 personally. So I checked what Stephen a Cohen, his political engagement this past year, and he gave $217,000 in campaign contributions. Now this is a a pittance from the point of view of, his wealth, obviously, as a share of $1,400,000,000 paycheck. But $217,000 with our cheapskate politicians actually goes a long way to making sure that mister Cohen will be very well treated by his senators and and by others who are giving ample protection.
The financial markets are the number one campaign contributors in The US system now. We have a corrupt politics to the core, I'm afraid to say. The final point, of course, is separating the politicians from from the crooks. But maybe that's so close together that they can't actually be separated. Maybe it's just the same community.
Speaker 10: What happens is that ultimately, the one who creates money controls the political structure. So if you let the the the bank to create money for the nation, so the over time, you would find the bank would be ultimately controlling the resources and and the political structure or power in the country.
Speaker 11: Seems strange that that community will stand for that when with a bit of political will, it could issue its own debt free money supply.
Speaker 4: So how about the economics academic community in The United States? Surely professors of economics have their academic freedom, the continual search for the truth, protected by what's called tenure. Tenure is where a professor can't be fired for their political opinions. Tenure started around 1900 and worked well for the first seventy years or so. But by the mid nineteen nineties, things had changed.
In order to hide the upcoming failings of the old debt money system, the Federal Reserve began a substantial program of consultants, visiting scholars, alumni, and staff economists that today so thoroughly dominates the field of economics that real criticism of the central bank and its debt money system has become a career liability, or when it comes to a reputable economics journal, an impossibility. At the prestigious Journal of Monetary Economics, more than half of the editorial board members are currently on the Fed payroll, and the rest have been in the past. The Fed's board of governors in Washington DC employs 220 PhD economists. The 12 regional banks employ scores more. Roger Auerbach, a former investigator with the House Banking Committee, found out that there are only 1,000 to 1,500 monetary economists working in The US today.
In 02/2009, the last year figures were available, the Fed spent $433,000,000 on experts researching monetary and economic policy. If that isn't bad enough, the Fed has all the pathways to all the major economics journals blocked as well. In a recent survey of the seven top journals, 84 of the 190 editorial board members were affiliated with the Federal Reserve in one way or another. When you are an up and coming economist trying to gain tenure at a university, the prestige of being associated with the Fed in one way or another is an absolute necessity. According to Jane Darista, a Fed critic and an economist with the political economy research institute at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. It's very important if you are on a tenure track and don't have tenure to show that you are valued by the Federal Reserve.
Speaker 3: Academics do research warning of a banking crisis get told, well we may have to fire you because our funding was cut by 80% and professors jobs aren't safe. You have to change your research or we can't have you anymore at the university. And that's that's quite shocking, isn't it?
Speaker 13: There is a a reluctance or even a denial that there is a problem with the monetary system. And it's, at the time it's it's only a few a few academic experts who are willing to concede that there might be some problem with the money system.
Speaker 4: So what is the media message? What is the media telling the public? The media tells the public that the problem is that the government is printing too much money. You hear it over and over every day on the news. But it's not.
It would not be nearly so bad if that was really the problem. We aren't printing money. We are borrowing every dollar into existence and worse, borrowing it at interest. So isn't the media supposed to be the keepers of the public interest, the fourth estate? Not anymore.
Here's a story I was told a couple of years ago. When I released my last documentary, The Secret of Oz at the February, I sent it to two friends of mine in the media. They worked at one of the big three US networks. One was the president of the network, and the other, my oldest friend in the media business, was his executive producer. After viewing the film, they called me and said, this is great.
I was puzzled. I'd expected that they would dismiss it as some sort of economic conspiracy theory. But they told me that they had just been laid off with 100 other network executives because of JPMorgan. I asked what JPMorgan had to do with the network, and they said that the networks are so heavily in debt to Morgan that every time loans come due, JPMorgan efficiency experts make demands on what the network has to do to have its loans renewed. What would be the price for noncompliance?
The network would be out of business in a single week. So it's just like the average American homeowner. They are all mortgaged to the max to banks. Anything the bank says, they have to do. Just as the Bible says in Proverbs.

Speaker 4: So do you really have to ask why the general public is confused If our politicians can't tell us the truth and the media can't dare to tell us the truth, then even the professors can't tell us the truth, what is the average person supposed to believe, and how can they ever discover the truth much less sorted out from the conflicting diversions.
Speaker 3: What I found though when you talk about things like monetary policy, economic policies, yes, you can state the truth, the public will understand it, but you immediately get an official expert come out and say, oh, it's not so simple. It's more complex than that. And clearly there seems to be this belief among economists that a complex theory, lots of abstract mathematics because it must be cleverer is intellectually superior to a simple argument. The truth couldn't be further from it because it's a fundamental principle in logic known to Aristotle and William of Ockham who said very truthfully that a simple argument beats a complex argument.
Speaker 4: So what do we do about this? Fortunately, the solution is easy to understand, and it's basically the same for every nation on earth. All monetary reformers agree that fractional reserve lending is nothing but outright theft and must be stopped. Some believe that no interest is justified at all, that all interest is usury and has been condemned for centuries by both the Christian and Muslim faiths.
Speaker 14: The Quran uses the term reba for what Western people would have understood as usury, except that sometimes the definition of usury would be exorbitant usury, and that there was an acceptable amount of usury that would not be condemned, but not in Islam.
Speaker 13: I cannot see why the banking sector should have the privilege of creating money and and to and the the government being forced to to borrow from the banks at interest.
Speaker 4: Remember, the bank isn't actually loaning real money. It is simply adding some numbers to an account. In exchange, the borrower agrees to repay this loan with compounding interest. But where does the interest money come from? Well, you either have to take it from someone else reducing their ability to service their interest bearing loans or you have to take out another loan to repay your existing loan.
In other words, this system creates a global Ponzi scheme based on ever increasing levels of debt.
Speaker 13: As to as to the the German experience of hyperinflation in the early twenties, it's not true that was caused by the government because the government had no say at all in monetary policy at the time. They were labor camps. They needed these people to help them with the war effort, to help them win the war. So if you believe in the official holocaust narrative, you believe that the Germans cared more about quote unquote exterminating Jews more than they cared about actually winning the war. Because they were, according to the official narrative, killing people, supplying what they needed to win the war. These people were not exterminated.
The supply lines into these camps were bombed strategically by the allies. And as a result, a bunch of diseases, particularly typhus, broke out. That was the reason for the Zyklon b. During the month of July '19 '50 '4, the operatives carried out a series of bombings targeting American and British owned civilian facilities in Cairo and Alexandria. The targets included cinemas, libraries, American educational centers, post offices on July 2. The agents detonated bombs at a post office in Alexandria.
On July 14, they bombed the libraries of the US information agency in Alexandria and Cairo in a British owned theater. The homemade bombs consisting of bags containing acid placed over nitroglycerin were inserted into books and placed on the shelves of the libraries just before closing time. Several hours later, as the acid ate through the bags, the bombs exploded. On July 23, an incendiary bomb went off in the pocket of one of the agents outside the British owned theater in Alexandria. On 10/05/1954, Egypt announced the arrest of a 13 man spy ring.
Egypt concluded that the operation was ordered by the Israeli Secretary of Defense, Pinchas Lavan, hence the name Lavan affair. The 13 agents consisted of Egyptian Jews and undercover Israelis. It was also made clear to us that since these prisons are privately owned as they become publicly traded, we'd be able to buy shares.
Most of us were taken back by this. Again, a couple of people asked what this had to do with us. At this point, my industry colleague who had first opened the meeting took the floor again and answered our questions. He told us that since our employees had become solid investors in this prison business, it was now in their interest to make sure that these prisons remain filled. Our job would be to help make this happen by making music which promote criminal behavior.

I think we've talked about this before, judge, the numbers, you know, in a sense of seeing the money leaving a country, the foreign investment not going into it, the 40,000 plus businesses have closed, one of the four major ports in Israel going bankrupt, those types of things. But, you know, just saw other numbers, almost 35% decrease in imports and a similar decrease in exports in the last year. So, you know, the numbers themselves, show that Israel is in a perilous position, but there's a huge caveat to that.
I'll get to the moment. And we could go on with, you know, different points. But the one the one caveat I wanna mention, judge, is, well, how is Israel surviving? How are they gonna get by on this? And that's because of The United States loan guarantee.
The last fact that The United States is a guarantor of Israeli debt. And so since last year, in the last thirteen months, you've seen a 300 to maybe 300 or 400% increase in the amount of debt, the amount of bonds that Israel has issued. And you say, who's buying these things? Why would they be buying them, noting knowing the reality of the economic situation, the military situation, the political situation for Israel? Well, it's because these bonds, this debt is backed by The United States.
We guarantee it. So it'd be like you or I getting a mortgage and having, Elon Musk, cosigning with us. And this is this is essentially where the Israelis come back on. Why they're willing to go the way they are, why they're willing to allow themselves to be isolated by the world, to to to hurt themselves economically, to overextend, exhaust their military, to cause their own political chaos, friction.
