Sloan Rachmuth, who deleted (almost) every tweet she ever made about Charlie Kirk before he was murdered, is now harassing @GabeGuidarini for pushing back on her demands that TPUSA cancel Tucker Carlson. Too bad for Sloan, she missed one from before Charlie’s murder, that shows you just how much contempt she had for him.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The dumbass forgot to delete her replies to his handle. This bitch literally hated Charlie Kirk. https://t.co/DklZDRqxVb

This is the woman demanding that Andrew Kolvet submit to her demands, fire @GabeGuidarini and kick Tucker Carlson off the AmFest lineup. She carried a *seething* hate for Charlie for years and routinely said he wasn’t a friend of Israel. https://t.co/OjacMH9rdV

This really happened. In July 2015 Israeli settlers firebombed the West Bank home of 18 month old Ali Dawabsheh. Baby Ali was burned alive in his crib and his parents died days later from their injuries. 5 months later, a video from a Jewish wedding in Jerusalem surfaced showing the wedding guests taking turns throwing knives at a picture of baby Ali. These psychos literally incorporated taunting a murdered toddler into their “wedding celebration.” And guess who was a guest at this wedding? Israel’s current Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
This has been bothering me for weeks. This was the biggest political assntion in decades and when investigators seemingly stumbled upon a *literal* full blown confession, with ALL the details… instead of confiscating the phone as evidence… they used their own phones to take pictures of the phone screen? WTAF??? There’s something deeply wrong here.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Those messages are literally crimes that Tyler is being charged with and the only proof that they exist is a picture of a phone screen? REALLY???? https://t.co/KhZovUJHl6
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
That’s just it! Tyler DID go home to his apartment with his roommate… and he then proceeded to text his roommate while at home with him https://t.co/AMoKcPMffg

YES! That’s something else that’s been driving me crazy! And this series of events is repeated in both the booking sheet (👇) and the probable cause affidavit (👆) (Not that I think the roommate would frame a rando, but it’s certainly possible he set Tyler up to take the whole fall)
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
@Terri_Woodall False. “Police can search and collect evidence if the person with a reasonable expectation of privacy freely and voluntarily gives permission.” Obviously consent was gained. No warrant was needed. If you want to be a smart ass, you should work harder on the smart part👍🏻

Chad Schnitger (middle) is the founder of the California chapter of the Faith & Freedom Coalition. The Faith & Freedom Coalition is the powerful conservative advocacy group founded by Ralph Reed (on Chad’s right). On July 31 Ralph Reed, along with Luke Moon of the Philos Project (Paul Singer’s baby), and Apostle Mario Bramnick (Latino Coalition for Israel) met with Yehuda Kaploun and representatives from the Israeli government, including Netanyahu’s son Yair, in an off-the-record meeting to discuss “the concerning woke-right defamation of Israel & the Jewish people.” They launched the Conference of Christian’s Presidents for Israel to confront and combat “growing antisemitism in the MAGA movement.” Four days later Bill Ackman held his intervention for Charlie Kirk in the Hamptons. Read the article below and then tell me how you think it went over that Charlie refused to cut ties with the people this meeting was literally being held over.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Israeli propagandists have been milking the story of this clearly unwell woman, Wafa, for over 2 decades. Always with the same theme “Look at the psychology of the people Israel is dealing with.” You’d think if the “psychology” were that prevalent they wouldn’t have to recycle this same woman’s story over and over again. Perhaps that’s why Leland Vittert chose to blatantly LIE when setting the story up this time? This woman did not “pour a pot of boiling water on herself as a child and spend 4 or 5 years receiving treatment in Israel before going back to Gaza.” She was injured in an accidental gas explosion while she was cooking when she was 21 years old and she received treatment at a burn unit a few months before her failed attack. Now why would Leland Vittert tell such a blatant lie? Why would he claim this woman had spent years of her childhood being healed and nurtured by Israelis, only for her to come back years later and attack them? And the answer is clear: he is working to dehumanize injured Palestinian children by insinuating that helping them could/will ultimately backfire. That’s his goal. Depict them as “mentally unhinged” from early childhood- and therefore totally unworthy of compassion and care. This is really sick stuff from The FP.

I’m an American, who is only “pro-America” but who also believes humans have a God given right to armed resistance against tyrannical governments. So take your fake and ghey “muh terrorists” bullshit somewhere else. If a bunch of foreigners came to my home one day and said “Get out, God promised me this land 2,000 years ago” and then their psychotic government came and bulldozed my home to the ground… You can bet your ass I’d become a “terrorist” too. And so would you. And so would anyone else with a shred of self respect. DON’T. TREAD. ON. ME. Got that, John?

I’ve been thinking about this for days. For some reason I initially thought he did it after hours… nope. It’s *literally* 5 minutes after the fact, he looks all around, moves Charlie’s chair over to stand on it and takes the evidence from the crime scene. And people genuinely don’t think this is suspicious or weird.

@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Why are Jews destroying Christian crosses on Mount Hermon? This cross was planted by Christian pilgrims to celebrate Jesus’ transfiguration. It stood undisturbed for decades when Syrian Muslims controlled this side of the summit. Israel takes control for less than 2 weeks and their soldiers destroyed it because “they didn’t like it.” Getting pretty sick of all these so-called Christians in America unquestioning support for the total desecration of the Holy Land.

This is stunning. Over 820 rocket and cannon holes and 5,000 armor piercing bullet holes? Napalm dropped on the deck? I had no idea. I’ll be honest, I never read up on the USS Liberty because I considered it kind of a bygone chapter. Obviously I agreed it was bad and I even assumed there was malice behind it- but for some reason I always thought it was just a single torpedo fired on our ship. I had no idea it was an hours long, multistage attack in the middle of the day. How the hell did they get away with this? H/t @realEvanUsher for the clip

⚡️Matt Gaetz 🧵: What Actually Happened Alright frens, now that Matt Gaetz is out of the running you’re going to hear a lot of takes on what happened and plenty of “keep your d*ck in your pants” lines too. And while that’s always good advice, the story I’m about to share goes way beyond anything you could possibly imagine. So if you’re interested in the whole story, consolidated in one place, of what really happened with and to Gaetz, take a seat and let me tell you a story
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Part I: The Tax Collector This story begins in Fall 2019 in Florida, with this man: Joel Greenberg. At the time Joel Greenberg was 2.5 years into his first term as the Tax Collector for Seminole County.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Greenberg is your classic rich kid who dinks through life lighting fires everyone else is forced to put out. Never landing hard bc daddy’s money always catches his fall. You know the type. We all do. And Joel approached his role as tax collector no different than any other.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
By Fall 2019 Seminole County was awash with rumors about the federal investigation into Greenberg’s crypto scam with tax collector dollars.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
These rumors inspired a local music teacher, Brian Beute, to throw his hat in the ring and challenge Greenberg in the Republican primary slated for the following year.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Despite the many advantages Greenberg held over Beute in the race (incumbency, wealth, name recognition, etc) Greenberg’s significant criminal activity as tax collector likely contributed to him becoming obsessed with destroying Beute, both publicly and privately.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
So throughout late 2019 and into 2020 Greenberg rolled out a series of ever escalating smear tactics targeting Beute. They started rather typical, labeling Beute, who is from Michigan, as a carpetbagger.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
But they grew increasingly viscous. He created fake Facebook profiles pretending to be Beute’s students, leaving comments on public posts trashing Beute as an awful teacher and a pervert.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Greenberg’s antics finally reached an apex when he mailed handwritten letters to the administrators at the school where Beute taught, accusing him of sexually assaulting his students.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Greenberg probably didn’t expect those letters to be taken so seriously or else he likely would’ve been a little more careful.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
But alas he was not, and when the letters were turned over to the local sheriff’s office both his fingerprints and DNA were lifted from them and he was arrested on June 23, 2020 and charged by the DOJ with stalking.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
At the time of his arrest, Greenberg’s phone was confiscated and searched. And… believe it or not, this is where his REAL legal troubles began.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
On his cellphone (and later home computers) police found evidence of Greenberg committing damn near every crime in the book: embezzlement, drugs, prostitution, identify theft, wire fraud, crypto market manipulation…
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
but the silver tuna was a series of messages that occurred in the late Spring through early Fall of 2017 between Greenberg and a then 17 year old girl discussing, among other things, their many sexcapades around Florida and beyond.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Further investigation revealed that from December 2016 through 2018 Joel Greenberg was a customer on a “Sugar Daddy” website where he solicited various women for sex and escort services. This is where he met the aforementioned 17 year old.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
All told, Mr. Greenberg spent over $70,000 on hookers he met on the Sugar Daddy website, much of which he paid for with his government issued AMEX card.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
In August 2020 the DOJ charged Joel Greenberg with sex trafficking of a minor, identify theft and production of false identification documents, among other things.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Turns out, in Florida, the office of county tax collector doesn’t just collect taxes, they also issue driver’s licenses and state IDs.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
And Mr. Greenberg had taken full advantage of this privilege during his time in office. Greenberg had not only created multiple false Florida ID cards for himself, he also created a fake ID for his underage lover after finding out that she had been lying to him about her age.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
And this is where Matt Gaetz comes into the story.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
From what I can gather, Gaetz and Greenberg became acquainted at some point in the first half of 2017. The first public record of them associating on a private level comes from a picture posted to X (then Twitter) on July 8, 2017 with none other than Roger Stone.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
I think it’s safe to say that the two did become friends. How good a friends? That’s up for debate. But there was a relationship.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
After getting arrested in June 2020, at some point Mr. Greenberg (lawyer’s?) approaches Bill Barr’s DOJ with a proposition: he claims he can provide evidence that a sitting Congressman (Gaetz) had engaged in sex acts with a minor.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Bill Barr’s DOJ then proceeds to open a secret investigation into these allegations, that remains a secret until it is leaked the next spring, on March 30, 2021 by The NY Times.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
PART II: The Man In Iran Faithful viewers of the Tucker Carlson were treated to a peak behind the DC curtain on a random Tuesday night in late March 2021.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Earlier that day The New York Times had released a bombshell story alleging that the DOJ had opened an official investigation into Gaetz over allegations he had engaged in sex with an underage girl.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Following Tucker’s opening monologue he introduced Matt Gaetz and gave him free rein to tell his side of the story. Anyone watching is unlikely to soon forget the absolute bizarre story that Gaetz proceeded to tell.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
It involved a $25 million extortion threat against his father to help free an American hostage in Iran that would then be paid back with a presidential pardon for Gaetz on all these charges.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Gaetz demanded that the FBI release the tapes they had in their possession of the recordings made by his father in interviews with his extortionist. He didn’t hesitate for a second to name the alleged extortionist: David McGee.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Said he was a former prosecutor for the Northern District of Florida who now worked at the prestigious Biggs & Lane law firm in Pensacola.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
He was resolute and unafraid when talking… and yet he sounded like an absolute lunatic. I know. I was watching live. And I wasn’t the only one.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Tucker was clearly extremely annoyed and unconvinced by the end… and yet 3.5 years later, I now know that everything he said was TRUE.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Bob Levinson was the man in Iran. The official story about Bob Levinson is he was a retired FBI agent who was contracted by a semi-off the books CIA unit to run a covert-op in Iran.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
He was kidnapped from Kish Island following a meeting with an American fugitive living in Iran that had been arranged by a former NBC producer named Ira Silverman.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
(This thread is already long enough so I’m not going to speculate on what I think, but there’s plenty out there if you want to go chasing rabbits.)
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
So Levinson gets kidnapped in March 2007 and his disappearance was acknowledged by George Bush in June 2007 as “concerning.” But no one from the federal government will admit that Levinson was working for the CIA.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Unbeknownst to anyone at the time, from 2009-2011 the FBI was running its own covert operation to get their retired agent back and they had devised an ingenious plan to keep the whole thing off the books:
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
they contracted with a Russian billionaire, Oleg Deripaska, to pay for the rescue mission ($20 million in total) in exchange for a fast tracked green cards for Deripaska and his family.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Enter: David McGee. During his time at the DOJ McGee worked an organized crime task force. That’s how he knew Bob Levinson- who specialized in Russian money laundering. McGee became a liaison between the Levinson family and Deripaska.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
(Now let me just stop right here and say this whole thing is NUTS and stinks to high heavens. To make matters worse, who was the FBI point man on the Deripaska deal? Andrew McCabe. Yep. That Andrew McCabe.) https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/387625-mueller-may-have-a-conflict-and-it-leads-directly-to-a-russian-oligarch/
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Anywho, the FBI team gets a couple proof of life videos and they have a soft arrangement in place when the Clinton State Department steps in and shuts the whole thing down. Something got them spooked. What that was has never been disclosed.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
After 2011 Levinson is never heard from again. All along the Iranians deny any involvement in his disappearance (expected) so eventually the CIA gets desperate and a handful of classified documents confirming Levinson’s contract with the CIA are leaked to the AP in Dec 2013.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Still, the Iranians don’t budge. This was surprising because at this point they no longer have any reason to lie. The Americans weren’t lying anymore. Time to start negotiations. But nope. The news was greeted with radio silence.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Years go by and no more pictures or videos ever arrive. And then comes the Iranian Nuclear Deal of 2016.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Unbeknownst to most, the Obama team had negotiated the release of four Americans being held in Iran in exchange for the US dropping charges against seven Iranian nationals for sanctions violations. Bob Levinson was not one of those Americans.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The American Jewish community was furious. They already saw the Iranian deal as a stab in the back to Israel. But when word broke about the prisoner exchange and Bob Levinson wasn’t on the list, many took it as a deliberate betrayal of American Jews too.https://www.voanews.com/a/american-jews-ask-what-about-bob/3154879.html
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Flash forward some more, Trump takes office, cancels the Nuclear Deal; Christine Levinson sues Iran in US Courts and is awarded a $1.2 billion judgement in January 2020, and in March 2020 the US government declares Bob Levinson legally dead. Case closed, right? Wrong.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
At some point in Summer 2020 a former Air Force intelligence officer named Bob Kent claims to have received news from his “network in Iraq” alleging that Bob Levinson was still alive. Kent even claims he received pictures to prove it.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
So Kent contacts David McGee who then tells Kent about the last privately funded search and rescue for Levinson and that’s when Kent hatches the plan to rope Don Gaetz into paying for this one.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Now I know what you’re all wondering: how did these men know about the Matt Gaetz investigation?
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
To my knowledge that has never been revealed. If I had to guess, I’d say someone in the DOJ or FBI leaked that info to McGee who then told Kent about it when he was contacted. But that’s still only have the answer.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
(This is the part of the story where I start spiraling. I start wondering just how long this plan had been in the works. Nothing adds up. But for now, I’ll spare you my suspicions and stick to what I know.)
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Part III: The Grand Plan It was March 16, 2021 when Don Gaetz received the first text message from Bob Kent about his grand plan.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
In exchange for Don fronting Mr. Kent’s rescue mission of Bob Levinson, unnamed agents with powerful contacts in the Biden administration would convince the president to give Don’s son Matt a full presidential pardon on his looming sex trafficking charges.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The price: 25 million dollars. (I wish I had a picture of Don Gaetz’ face when he read that.)
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Naturally Gaetz Sr. was incredulous. What in the world was this man talking about? Matt wasn’t facing any sex trafficking charges. Don called Matt who immediately told him to contact the local FBI office.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The FBI suggested that Don meet with David McGee wearing a wire and Don agreed. However, just before the meeting took place, Don requested a written acknowledgment from the FBI on the purpose of this investigation and meeting.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
He was worried something he said could be used against Matt in the case they still didn’t know anything about. The FBI was reluctant at first but they eventually agreed.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The very next day The New York Times ran the leak on the DOJ’s case against Gaetz. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/30/us/politics/matt-gaetz-sex-trafficking-investigation.html?unlocked_article_code=1.b04.vOXN.Yoa3PmFsIbyL&smid=url-share
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Going back and watching the Tucker/Gaetz interview again this week, everything he said finally made sense. The FBI had planned to use Don’s meeting with McGee against Matt.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The quasi-immunity demand from Don quashed that so they leaked the story to The NY Times and then buried the wire tapes.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
McGee and Kent denied everything. They said there was no extortion. It was a simple proposition. They accused Matt of using this to distract from his charges. https://t.co/YQjeV9dIit
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
A third man was eventually charged with wire fraud in relation to case. And then the FBI just drops it all and pretends like none of that happened.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
But wait, there’s more! Because this story wasn’t already weird enough… here’s another twist:
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
So at the same time that Don Gaetz was getting those messages from Kent and McGee… Scott Adams, you know, the Dilbert guy, receives a message from an acquaintance of his, Jacob Novak, who works as the media director for the Israeli Consulate.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The first one arrives the Saturday before the story breaks: https://t.co/cwXJJLfIHb
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The next two arrive on Wednesday the 31st after Gaetz went on Tucker and revealed David McGee’s name to the world. https://t.co/HXSdoFhevz
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
To his credit, the whole thing was sketchy as hell to Scott Adams so he took it upon himself to release Novak’s messages. The Israeli Consulate immediately distanced themselves from Novak’s messages but he was not fired or disciplined. https://t.co/Ay8lZ53SWZ
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Part IV: Wrap Up Joel Greenberg plead guilty to sex trafficking, identity fraud, wire fraud and host of other charges in May 2021. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison, with 10 of those coming from the mandatory minimum imposed by the sex trafficking charge.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The DOJ did not close its case against Matt Gaetz until October 2022. They never publicly acknowledged why he was not charged although it becomes fairly obvious once you learn that Joel Greenberg had produced fake IDs for the underage girl in question.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
How can you convict someone of statutory rape when this woman was using a real state of Florida driver’s license to present as being of age?
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
But of course, because it’s the swamp, that’s not where Matt’s troubles ended. The snakes in DC were going to milk that investigation for all its worth and when Gaetz went for McCarthy during the speaker fight, McCarthy and his allies plotted carefully to get their revenge.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
We saw the culmination of that plotting on full display today. There are still lots of unanswered questions. Who is the “we” that Jacob Novak referenced in his texts to Scott Adams? Who leaked the info about the Gaetz case to Bob Kent?
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Was Joel Greenberg running a honeypot scheme? If so, for who? Sure would be nice to get an Attorney General in office who actually gave a damn about answering any of those questions.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel

⚡️Campaign Finance🧵: Adam Kinzinger Have you ever wondered what becomes of socially awkward politicians with no marketable skills, aside from crying on cue, when they are gerrymandered out of public office? Better yet, do you ever wonder what happens to all the leftover campaign $$ they bilked out of pussy-hat wearing cat ladies in the name of saving our Democracy™? If the answer is yes, this one’s for you!
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Prior to finding fame in the J6 fallout, the most remarkable thing about Mr. Kinzinger was just how unremarkable his congressional career had been. Despite representing the reddest district in IL Kinzinger prided himself on being a bipartisan stooge at every turn.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
He co-authored a few pieces of legislation, notably the 2016 Countering Foreign Propaganda and Disinformation Act, aimed at “stoping Russian interference into our elections” but that’s about it.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
His fundraising efforts were decent but never excessive (using Congress’ standard). In his first 5 terms in office, Mr. Kinzinger never raised (green) more than $2.45 million (2020) across all of his campaign committees and he never spent (yellow) more than $2.53 million (2018). https://t.co/zuTs8c1lSL
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
However, as we all know, America was changed forever on that fateful day in January, 2021. Our Democracy™ was threatened and the burden to save it had fallen on the shoulders of men like Adam Kinzinger. First step towards saving Democracy™? Opening a second JFC.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Unfortunately the Illinois state legislature had other plans & in Spring 2021 they redrew the IL district lines combining 2 R districts into 1. Rather than get into a grueling primary w the other Republican, Kinzinger announced on Oct 29, 2021 that he would not seek re-election.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Now normally this would be the end of the story; no re-election means no more campaign fundraising. Time to wrap it up and move along to K Street with all the other washed up politicians whoring themselves out to the highest special interest bidder.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
But curiously enough, that’s not where our story ends. In fact, that’s where it just gets started. You see, Mr. Kinzinger had found himself quite the lucrative niche role to play in American politics following January 6: Republican Man of Conscience®
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
How lucrative, you ask? Well for the 2022 cycle Mr. Kinzinger tripled his previous record raising $6,728,851 across all committees. This, despite not running for reelection! Wait. How was the even possible? Behold the power of campaign committees! https://t.co/yS3ep0imJX
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
10 days after announcing his retirement Kinzinger converted his new JFC into a Leadership PAC. Now, he was free to continue raising $ in the name of saving Democracy™ by soliciting $ under the guise of helping Country First Patriots™ win elections across America!
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
So did he? Not exactly… Despite raising $6.7 million in the 2022 cycle, Kinzinger gave only abt $140k across all committees to other candidates. TBF: he needed to pay for the airplane hanger he was keeping his new plane in. https://t.co/MaUkoFT8ZU
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Yes friends, it appears you can not only bill your campaign to store your personal airplane, but you can also reimburse yourself for the miles you flew that plane (when conducting the business of your Leadership PAC, of course 😉)
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Naturally no Republican campaign expenditure list would be complete without AT LEAST $1.5 million in consulting fees. But hold on… Mr. Kinzinger wasn’t running a campaign… so why did he need $1.75 million in consulting?
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Furthermore, why did Kinzinger’s Leadership PAC buy his campaign committee a new “campaign vehicle” a month before he left office? Uhhh… HELLO FEC! Anyone home?! Anyone care to check what happened to the *other* campaign car Kinzinger had? You know, the one he bought in 2020? https://t.co/Th13PLyjWn

Then there’s the clubs… can’t forget the clubs! You see, when you become a Republican Man of Conscience® you get invited to join ALL the swanky DC social clubs… but it ain’t cheap
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Kinzinger billed his principal campaign $25,000 for his membership to Capitol Hill Club. And another $40,000 fee to join the “Former Members of Congress Club” $65,000 in membership dues to private clubs… weird… I could’ve sworn the FEC said this was a no-no? https://t.co/RKlEmeaWyH
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
So clearly Kinzinger was living it up in his last year in office… but what happened next? Well despite his wild spending sprees, Mr. Kinzinger still left office with a LOT of money leftover. $3,344,001 to be exact (He came into the 2022 cycle with $1.5 million on hand) https://t.co/ChC9ARs12L
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Turns out those nationally televised, prime time hearings he & his staff scripted and directed were quite a hit with donor crowd because the money never seemed to stop flowing for Mr. Kinzinger. It’s truly impressive.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
First step when leaving office with $2.4 million still in your principal campaign committee? Convert that committee into another PAC. 2nd step: transfer $2 mil to your 1st Leadership PAC And $250k to your other leadership PAC 3rd: sprinkle $150k to randos https://t.co/HIUjdt9SPy
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Now that the money is freed from those pesky campaign committee rules, things get a lot less… restrictive.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
But that doesn’t mean there won’t be expenses… that airplane isn’t gonna store itself! There’s the $21,000 in airfare mileage reimbursements on top of the $60,000 in regular airfare… The $16,000 in “travel expenses” Plus hotels, meals, and OFC CONSULTANTS!! https://t.co/xSNPBUNLqE
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Okay but still… where did the REST of the money go? Well my friend, allow me to introduce you to the next layer of campaign finance slime… the 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 aka: nonprofits aka: THE BLACK HOLE
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Mr. Kinzinger did one more thing before leaving office, he opened a 501(c)3, under the name Country First Foundation, using the same mailing address as his leadership PACs, and he was granted tax-exempt status from the IRS on 3/13/23 (effective 6/9/22) https://t.co/6MhopmgGIQ
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
In 2023 Kinzinger transferred $415,000 into Country First Foundation and another $348,546 to an entity called “Country First Action” that uses the same mailing addresses as his Leadership PACs and 501(c)3 but Country First Action isn’t registered separately w the IRS, so… https://t.co/DtGplrfDlo
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
GuideStar has a profile for Country First Foundation which is how we know that Mr. Kinzinger chose Austin Weatherford to run it. Who is Austin Weatherford you ask? https://t.co/3BQC1FfMEV
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Well, Mr. Weatherford is Kinzingers former chief of staff, but more importantly, according to his own website “…Weatherford played a key role in producing, editing, scripting and advising on the televised hearings of the US House Select Committee on the January 6 attack” https://t.co/GiSYK00L4Z
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Isn’t that convenient? Help the Biden administration pull off a televised smear of the MAGA crowd and in exchange you get to head up a BS nonprofit, seeded with close to half a million from your old boss! Good work if you’re not partial to your soul.

⚡️Campaign Finance 🧵: Letitia James When I got asked to look into Letitia James’ financials last week, I really wasn’t expecting to find much. As you probably know, James is the Attorney General of New York who just secured a $454 million judgement against Donald Trump.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
James was elected as the NY AG in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. Prior to that James was the NYC “public advocate” for 4 years and a NYC city council member for 8 years prior to that. Prior to elected office she was a public defender for Legal Aid.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
IOW Letitia James is a lifelong public servant and other than a mishap in the 2010s where she neglected to list the Brooklyn brownstone she owns & rents out on her financial disclosure forms, she hasn’t had any public scandals.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
With that being said, I’m not quite sure what I was expecting to find but I do know I wasn’t expecting what I found.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The first thing you’ll notice when you download and sort the expenditures of any politician running for reelection in a safe seat is how they use their campaign funds to supplement their lifestyles to a degree middle America could never dream of.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
What do I mean? Well, in 2023 alone, James spent over $28,500 on hotels. Over $15,000 of that was spent on luxury hotels in Puerto Rico. https://t.co/MSG9RThmNj
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Then there’s the airfare. In the 5 years she’s been the New York State AG, James’ has spent over $84,000 on airfare to fly herself all over the country. This includes private jet rentals. https://t.co/jihZzOALgO
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
She’s billed her campaign over $20,000/year for meals. And no, these aren’t large catering events. These are receipts for everything from $18 at Dunkin Donuts to $60 at Dave & Busters to $165 at an oyster bar in Massachusetts and then $700 at a steakhouse in Brooklyn.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Then there’s thousands spent on Ubers and Lyfts. Tens of thousands spent on “office” at everywhere from Target to BJ’s wholesale. Over $7,000 dropped at a nightclub in NYC and billed as “office.” https://t.co/lWswXt5IyQ
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
I could go on… the multiple stays at the Beverly Hills Wilshire, the $65,000 in “reimbursements” to “campaign consultants” which could literally be anything.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Speaking of campaign consultants, can anyone tell me why a state Attorney General would need to spend over $300,000 in a single year on campaign consultants when they *just* won re-election the previous November? What could she possibly be consulting on?
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Furthermore, why do these million dollar “campaign consultancy firms” always seem to be ran out of random 2 bedroom apartments? https://t.co/jWTTjwVJzc
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
TBC I’m not accusing Ms. James of breaking the law w her expenditures. But considering the high bar she set for Trump in his civil fraud case, I find it more than a little galling that she plays so fast and loose w what she deems to be “legitimate campaign expenses.”
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
$4,335 at “Nathan’s Luxlifestyle” on Martha’s Vineyard last August? Mmm hmm. $5,122 dropped at the “48 Lounge” in NYC last September under expense code “office.” Righhhtttt…. https://t.co/HjqgvkxBIB
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
So you might be wondering, where does all this money come from? Well here’s where things get interesting. Because it appears our holier than thou Attorney General, Ms. James, has gotten herself wrapped up in the ghost donor scam.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Now I knew the ghost donor bots weren’t just operating at the federal level but I had no clue how big it was at the state level. Here’s a list of Ms. James’ total donations and their corresponding receipts by year… anything jump out at you? https://t.co/Jl8Qj3NyAS
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Obviously 2022 is off the charts. Over 32,500 receipts and over 62% are from out of state. Who the heck donates to an Attorney General, running in a totally safe seat, in a whole other state?! Answer: Ghost donors.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Take for instance this woman named Suzanne, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Ms. Suzanne has to be one of the most faithful Democrat donors on the planet. Not only did she make 3,232 individual donations to ActBlue in just one year (2022) totaling more than $46,193 https://t.co/e3bpi1Fi8J
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
But she also found the time and money to also make 25 separate donations (for $266) to Letitia James’ campaign and another 9 (for $305) to Kathy Hochul! And she didn’t stop there! I found Suzanne’s name on the donor rolls in Nevada, Idaho and Virginia! https://t.co/dvhSRzoOsx
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Or how about this lovely old lady Barbara from Silver Springs, Maryland. Ms. Barbara, a retired 71 year old widow living in a modest townhouse, not only made 1547 donations to ActBlue at the federal level totaling more than $37,000 https://t.co/D5zNkvxVgA
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
She also gave Letitia James $610 total in 34 separate transactions and then she sprinkled some money in Nevada, Massachusetts and Wisconsin! https://t.co/GF8CcXgWel
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
I could go on but yall get the point. Almost every name I grabbed from James’ 2022 donor list had AT LEAST 200+ donations at the fed level for 2022 and tons of them had over 2,000. It turns out ghost donors are just as big of a problem at the state level as they are at the federal.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
So to recap: we’ve got unknown entities funding our state and federal elections and everywhere you turn there’s a sleazy politician using this tainted campaign money to fund their extravagant lifestyles.

Y’all want to see what a ghost donor bot looks like? Here’s the data from a 65 yo retired man living in a 962 sq ft house in Clawson, Michigan. From 2019-2023 the FEC has recorded him making over 15,600 separate donations to political campaigns. The list below shows the receiving campaign, the # of donations made and the total amount donated from 2019-2023
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
This list is just Presidential, Senate & House campaigns. It does not include the 5,000+ donations “he” made to Joint Fundraising Committees or the 1,000+ donations “he” made to leadership committees.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Now ask yourself this… who makes 517 different donations to Tim Scott’s presidential campaign and then turns around and makes 557 separate donations to Nikki Haley’s campaign?
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Who donates 659 times to a congresswoman in another state but never gives a dime to any candidates running in their own district? Answer? Bots. Specifically, bots being ran by dark money groups who are using campaign funds to control their puppets in DC.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Think it’s just Republicans? HA! Democrats were the master minds of this scam.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Except I’ll give them credit bc unlike Reps who are always just out for themselves, Dems keep their eye on the prize of total control of Congress, ergo the bulk of their bot donations go through ActBlue where they’re able to better distribute them to the candidates who need it.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Here’s the numbers for an 86 year old man from Oak Park, Illinois. He made 11,285 donations to Democrats between April 11, 2019 and December 31, 2023. That’s roughly 6.5 donations/day, every day, for 1,725 days straight. Again, he’s 86 years old.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
I’m going to be posting a lot more on this in the coming week but I just wanted to throw this out there for yall to think about.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
All those lobbying numbers you get from OpenSecrets showing that AIPAC gave someone this much or the NRA game someone else that much- they don’t mean shit anymore.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
This right here is where the real influence is being bought.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
For the Republican it was $60,694 for the charts above and for the Democrat it was $136,215. But remember the Republican’s numbers don’t include donations to Joint Fundraising Committees or Leadership PACs so it is more than $60k but I do t have the exact amount in front of me.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
To find out if you or anyone you know (specifically your older parents (65+) who may have made one or two legitimate donations in the past)
@Villgecrazylady - Mel

We all know the GOP has a serious grifter problem but I hadn’t quite realized how bad it was until I started looking at FEC filing last month. I was interested when reports starting emerging about DeSantis “blowing through money.” And while DeSantis’ filings were predictable and mostly boring (note: he does not have a spending issue) I became intrigued by another candidate’s filings, Senator Tim Scott. Here’s a 🧵on what I found: Tim Scott entered into the 2021-2022 midterm cycle with a little more than $5 million on hand. This was his third Senate race and he had won his other two by at least 30 points each. Having spent over $120 million on Jaime Harrison in his failed attempt to beat Lindsey Graham in 2020 the DNC was not looking to light any more money on fire in a hopeless SC senate race so they declined to officially back any opponent against Scott. This should have been an easy, relatively cheap reelection campaign, with Scott parlaying his excess donations into his Presidential campaign. And while it was an easy victory and Scott did parlay his leftover funds, Tim Scott walked out of the 2022 midterms having spent more than all but 3 other GOP candidates (Walker, Oz and Rubio) on a race where his Democrat opponent only raised $135,365 total. How was that even possible? Let’s take a look. After combing through his 2022 FEC filings here is a breakdown of his major expenditures:
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
If Scott were running against another party backed candidate this might not look that unusual- but he wasn’t, so it’s worth examining this a little. The first thing I noticed when I scanned Scott’s OpenSecrets page was that his #2 vendor, Meeting Street Services LLC, has never been used by any other candidate. That’s surprising considering that Scott paid them over $4.5 million in just 4 months in 2022. An exhaustive search engine query produced nothing on Meeting Street Services LLC. No web page, no social media accounts, no LinkdIn accounts listing … NOTHING. The address given on Scott’s FEC filings lists #1224 4950 Centerpoint Dr Suite 100 North Charleston, SC 29418 Which is the address of a Staples store in North Charleston, presumably Meeting Street Services has a UPS box there.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Next I did a LLC search. Turns out Meeting Street Services LLC was incorporated in Delaware on 08/17/2022 and then registered in the state of South Carolina on 08/31/2022. (So now I’m *really* intrigued, because OFC it’s registered in Delaware.)
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Within 30 days of registering in SC, Scott’s campaign paid Meeting Street Services $2,978,361 for everything from digital ads to billboards to TV production shoots and then TV ad buys.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
If you’ve spent any time looking at FEC filings the one thing you can’t help but notice is how many businesses each candidate uses during a campaign to get ANYTHING done. There’s no such thing as a one-stop shop. Except that’s exactly what Meeting Street Services appears to be. By the end of the 2022 cycle Scott had paid them over $4.5 million dollars to do not only what I listed above but also for polling, digital fundraising, P2P (texting services) compliance consulting AND general consulting.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Since launching his presidential campaign, Scott For America, Scott has also paid Meeting Street Services for: digital persuasion, list rentals, strategy consulting, website development and media management consulting on top of everything else. As of his 06/30/2023 FEC filing Tim Scott has paid this heretofore unheard of wonder company $9,865,790.03 in just the first 10 months of their being in business
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
And yet we still know next to nothing about where this money is actually going. We all know about the consulting grift and what a scam that is, but Meeting Street Services is billing for other things we can actually trace like online advertisements.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Thus far Tim Scott For America has spent $282,600 on Google ads and $120,696 on Meta (Facebook) ads. $403,296 total. Plus whatever he’s spent on Twitter and other platforms (which I can’t imagine is that much considering that Google and Facebook together own 50% of the market share in online ads.) But how much has Meeting Street Services billed Tim Scott for America for online advertising? $1,274,634 To be fair, they also tagged “list rentals” in with some of their digital advertising bills.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The New York Times asked the Scott campaign for comment on this 2 weeks ago. Turns out the NYT with all its resources couldn’t find anything more than I did sitting at my desktop https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/28/us/politics/tim-scott-money-campaign-funds.html
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
The Times article also highlighted another (almost) million dollars Scott has paid to a brand new company named Advanced Planning & Logistics. Again registered in Delaware last December using the same agent Meeting Street Services used. The Times said Scott was the only FEC registered entity to use Advanced Planning & Logistics but that’s not accurate: since March 2023, Opportunity Matters Fund Action, Larry Ellison’s Super PAC that has thrown its weight behind Scott, has also been billed for $209,350.49 for “Travel Management Consulting/Travel.” Regardless, there’s no online presence, no physical address, just a mailbox located inside a Staples in Fairfax, VA.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Then there’s the campaign finance management company used exclusively by Tim Scott, Caging Resource Management, founded March 31, 2021. Scott’s campaigns have paid this company $431,612 in the last two years. Again, no website or no online presence, and the address is a PO Box in Charleston.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Where is the press on this? Where is conservative media on this? The NYT does one article and you all think your job is done? Why has it become okay for our politicians to funnels millions of dollars through newly formed shell corporations with absolutely ZERO pushback from the public? There’s a significant chance that Scott gets a high level cabinet position in exchange for dropping out and backing someone else. He should have to answer these questions NOW: Who owns and runs Meeting Street Services LLC? Who owns and runs Advanced Planning & Logistics? Who owns and runs Caging Resource Management? He should give a detailed account of where that money went, and provide outside receipts for all ad buys. What do y’all think?
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
A lot of folks keep linking to Meeting Street Research which is a legitimate firm headquartered in Charleston that’s been around since 2015. It is not the same company as Meeting Street Services. https://t.co/T10OjS9KTx
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
And as someone brought to my attention, I made a typo in the original spreadsheet posted, here’s the corrected one if you’re interested in sharing. This is my own personal summary of the spending, it does not include all disbursements (e.g. flowers sent, travel insurance, software charges, etc) just the big categories.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Came across this today and thought you all might like to see what a stark difference there was between the 2018 cycle and the 2020 cycle. Remember how I said *something* happened for Democrats in 2018 that sent their small dollar receipts through the roof? And then that very same something happened for Republicans in 2020? Take a look at Kevin McCarthy’s 2018 small $ donations vs 2020’s In 2018 McCarthy received just $29,422 total in donations less than $200. For that $29,422, there were just 57 receipts. Nearly all of them are people who gave $100 twice which put them at the $200 threshold for itemization (i.e. record keeping). Flash forward to 2020, just two years later and now Kevin McCarthy is reporting $16,814,474 in donations less than $200 and a total of 81,691 receipts. Except these aren’t a bunch of duplicate $100 donations. These are receipts for people making dozens, sometimes hundreds of donations, for anywhere from a few pennies to just $10 (remember, they have to make 20 $10 donations to make the record keeping cutoff).
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Take for instance this woman named Janet. Janet went from having never made more than two donations to any politician, EVER, to donating over 740 times in a single cycle to just Kevin McCarthy. In total, Janet made 15,186 donations in the 2020 cycle for a total of $42,951- but the average donation was just $2.83.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
From 2016 to 2018 House Democrats increased their total fundraising intake by 220%. Nothing like that had ever happened before as far as i have seen. https://t.co/aH2MHXLOz4
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Not to be outdone, Republicans increased their fundraising 30% from 2018 to 2020 and it was up over 60% from 2016. By 2022 they had nearly caught Democrats again. https://t.co/qW0cis3R6n
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Similar increases can be seen in Senate races too. A 100% increase for Dems from 2016 to 2018 then a 100% increase from 2018 to 2020 for Republicans https://t.co/yCLXEVVWl7
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
For reference look at these numbers from previous election cycles. https://t.co/lwhjmBdhqP
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
As you can see, there’s modest fluctuations cycle to cycle but nothing outrageous. Republicans saw a notable increase from 2008 to 2010 due to Tea Party enthusiasm but a 25% increase is nothing compared to 2018’s numbers. Where the hell is all this money coming from? https://t.co/8dfC4g2iJH
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Here’s my theory: dark money groups on both sides are using AI to run bot programs making donations in the name of real Americans. I’ve noted the following similarities between super donors* on both sides: 1. They’re all over the age of 60 but most are in their late 70’s to mid 80’s. 2. They’re registered party members. No independents. 3. They have no social media. 4. They own their homes. *I classify super donors as individuals who are reported to have made at least 100 donations in a single cycle.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
I believe the money comes from a small group of wealthy individuals who have specific interests in controlling certain members of Congress. Most of this money flows into the coffers of candidates who represent incredibly safe districts. Take for instance Jim Jordan: https://t.co/HlmrsLQPSL
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Jim Jordan’s district hasn’t elected a Democrat since 1936. He has 0 need to raise any big 💰 & from 2006 to 2018 he consistently raised less than the avg candidate. Then in 2020, he brought in nearly $20m. That year, Jordan (almost single-handedly) derailed every Congressional effort to investigate, hold Big Tech accountable for their censorship of conservatives
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Or let’s look at Adam Schiff. Schiff is in a D+50 district and his campaign fundraising numbers reflected that until 2018. Schiff was a ranking member of the House intelligence committee and then the chair from 2019 to 2023. He was the lead investigator on the first Trump impeachment and he used his chairmanship to support every effort to increase arms to Ukraine and the Saudis (for their war on Yemen).
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Okay you say, but what about the good guys, folks like @RepThomasMassie , his campaign donations increased 3 fold from 2018 to 2020. How do I explain that? Thomas Massie’s donation increases are a perfect example of legitimate grassroots growth. He went from raising $169k in itemized contributions (with 318 receipts) in 2018 to raising $614k (with 1415 receipts) in 2020. A 375% increase in donations matched with a 420% increase in receipts. Massie had zero $.01-$2 receipts in either 2018 or 2020 and he only had 4 receipts for contributions between $.01-$10. In other words: Thomas Massie’s donors are normal people who make their donations in normal amounts, all at once (or sometimes monthly, but NEVER spread out into 100s of contributions of nickels and dimes.)
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
@RepThomasMassie Now let’s look at Steve Scalise. Thus far in the 2024 cycle, Scalise has raised just $263k in itemized contributions yet he has over 99,000 receipts. And he over 3,000 receipts for donations between $.01-$2 and over 30,000 receipts for between $.01-$10 It’s only been 6 months!!! https://t.co/h0xoFjVqar
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
Dan Crenshaw spent over $2 million dollars on “events” and event related services, like event make-up and jet rentals, in the 2022 cycle. He spent over $500,000 on travel. Including $47,000 on black car rentals. Crenshaw spent $200,000 on promotional eyepatches and glassware. He billed his campaign $36,000 for “petty cash” He spent $166,000 on hotels, most of them luxury hotels, in vacation destinations like Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Coronado Beach, California. All in all, Crenshaw spent over $14 million from his primary campaign fund to win reelection in his R+18 district. His Democrat opponent spent less than $200,000. None of the numbers below include the expenses he billed for in his Joint Fundraising Committee (another $1.8 million) or his Leadership PAC ($75,000). And I’m supposed to care about George Santos? At least George Santos did something impressive with his campaign funds: unseat a 3 term Dem incumbent in a D+2 district.
@Villgecrazylady - Mel
