And I remember to keep myself up, because I was scared I would be trampled. Originally, I thought I just got hit, like, 3 times on the head, but it wasn't till I saw The video that I realized, like, how bad it was getting in the tunnel. I remember trying to keep myself up because I was scared gonna be trampled. And I remember saying to the officer, you took an oath to the constitution. And he called me The b word. And that's when I got one of the hardest blows that I can remember. Speaker 3: The head is a sphere. And what happens when you strike a spherical object with a blunted object, at least resistance, and glances off the head? That's a possibility. The second thing is you can hit them flush and kill them. If your intent was to kill them, you should have been using a firearm, not a baton. So it fails tactically to use a baton to attempt to use it as a disabling force The baton is registered as a less than lethal tool. It is a tool like tear gas. It is a tool like the taser. It is a tool like using your hands to subdue the person so that you can handcuff them and take them into custody. Now I'm having a lot of difficulty squeezing this into 2 minutes and 20 seconds, so I'm going to go quickly and try to breeze through it. There's 2 areas where having this additional audio provides valuable context to understand quite how terrifying and confusing this whole scenario was. In this particular instance, and this is the graphic part, I want you to hear what it sounded like for victoria white to be so aggressively and viciously beaten. You can hear this white officer begin to beat her, but he's hitting a plastic shield with his baton, and you could hear a distinct shift as it goes from hitting that plastic to hitting her in the skull. That blunt force trauma sounds a lot different than a plastic shield, and you can hear the shift immediately. Listen. Again, those first several shots are hitting that plastic shield and then you'll hear the shift as he begins beating her skull. Obviously, that's quite terrifying. And that's what every single person in this circle is trying to do they're trying to get to Roseanne Boylan, who's dead, who just got beat by Lila Nichols, I believe, is her name, the cop. Look what the cops did to this lady who had no weapon, was unarmed and was peacefully exercising her First Amendment right on January 6th? In what situation Is it okay for the police officers to do this? But it gets worse. She's what looks like almost unconscious at this point, beaten, bloodied, and watch how these officers treat her. When you've been tear gassed, maced, beat, most likely has a concussion, bleeding from the head, and you get between a mob of people and you're a tiny girl, and you get pushed into a crowd of violent police. One of which, you just beat a woman to death. She was assaulted over 40 times by the DC police officers just in this altercation. She's lucky to be alive.
