Speaker 0: Early in my term, I announced a major plan to provide millions of working families with debt relief for their college student debt. Tens of millions of people in debt were literally about to be canceled, their debts. But my MAGA Republican friends in the congress, elected officials and special interests, stepped in and sued us, and the supreme court blocked it and blocked it. But that didn't stop me. I announced we're gonna pursue alternative paths for student debt relief, for as many borrowers as possible.
And that's the effort that's been underway the last 2 years. I fixed what's called the save plan. It existed but I fixed it to make it the most affordable repayment plan ever. Before I took office, student borrowers had to pay 10% of the discretionary income on a monthly basis. If they made less and if they didn't have enough to do that, they were able to not have to pay that month but the interest continued.
A lot of people don't have the means to do that though. Under my SAVE plan, we're cutting in half to 5% the undergraduate borrowers what undergraduate borrowers have to pay after their living expenses are accounted for. That means no one with an undergraduate loan, whether it's a community college or a 4 year college, will have to pay more than 5% of the discretionary income to repay those loans starting in July, and that's income after you paid in that for necessities like food and housing. Already 7,500,000 Americans have enrolled in this so called save plan, and there's more than 4,000,000 of those borrowers had their monthly payments dropped to 0 if they're living paycheck to paycheck below a certain level. This plan is the most generous repayment program ever and today we're doing it even faster and quicker than ever before.
I'm proud to announce our save plan. We are immediately canceling the debt loans for over a 150,000 borrowers, nearly 6 months ahead of schedule. Starting today, we're canceling student debt for borrowers who are enrolled in the safe plan and have been paying student loans for as little as 10 years. If they took less than if they borrowed less than $2,000, it's forgiven. The $12,000 excuse me.
The loan is forgiven. This actual being used help to graduates of community college and borrow those smaller loans, putting them back on track faster for debt forgiveness than ever before. And to add insult to the injury, to just rub the salt into the gangrenous wound of my soul, I I don't understand a single word the mumbling kid working at the checkout counter will say, blah, blah, blah, blah, just like get the marbles out of your mouth, son, learn how to speak. Just engage in decent society, and then I, because he's lazy and nobody else cared, I I had to bag my own groceries bag my own groceries. I made a show of it too because you know I did. I made a show of bragging, put some in the bag and get put this and the lady behind me in line, she said, I guess you got a part time job.
I said, I got part time rape, because, my god, how are people making it? People give me a hard time saying, you go online, all you care about doing is selling a t shirt or something like that. I gotta live. How are you making it? What are you doing?
How many side hustles you got? I mean, I don't know if there's a OnlyFans for men's feet and people want to throw up, but I'm fixing to start a deal, well, you can subscribe. $5 a month, I'll show you my feet. That's disgusting. I don't know how people are making it.
The work ethic is dead, service industry dead, people can't afford to go buy groceries, they can't go out to eat. I mean, a family of 4 dying on the vine, dying on the vine. They're making it where you can have kids. You you you they want you eating bugs instead of real meat. They wanna they wanna print off some kind of synthetic garbage and call that protein.
Like, you could call me a conspiracy theorist all you want, but let me just tell you something. At this stage in the game, they just want you dead. They want you dead, and if you're not dead, they want you dependent. Look at big pharma. We ought to back the truck up, load a whole lot of them out of Washington DC or wherever your state house is in your respective states and take them to the landfill and dump them out and start over because this is some bullshit. Our founding fathers had no plan for any of this kind of stuff.

They've destroyed supply chains, they've deployed, So they've destroyed transportation, they've destroyed farmers, they've destroyed ranchers, they've destroyed truckers, they've destroyed free speech, your ability to just take care of yourself, be left alone. You can't buy seeds. You can't plant a garden. You can't put chickens in your backyard.
