The World Economic Forum (WEF) has faced accusations like "You will own nothing and be happy" and "You will eat bugs." While the WEF denies some claims, evidence suggests otherwise. The phrase "own nothing, be happy" is supported by a WEF video and article. WEF's goal is to influence global leaders and penetrate cabinets. The WEF promotes sustainable food sources, including insects, as seen in articles and celebrity endorsements. However, not all claims hold true, as seen with Argentinian President Javier Milei's disagreement with WEF's socialist agenda.

@actualAlexJames - Alex James

The World Economic Forum 🌐 The most common accusations explained. A thread 🧵 “You will eat ze bugs!”, “You will own nothing and you will be happy!”, phrases many of us have heard time and time again but did the WEF actually say these things and endorse them? This thread is designed for you to bookmark, retweet, like and save so that you and others can easily access the proof to these common talking points at the click of a button. “You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy” This comes directly from the WEF’s “8 Predictions for the World in 2030” video. There are various claims as to where this video was published, one says it was in an article on their website called “8 predictions for the world in 2030”, now deleted, another says it was from “the future of jobs report 2017” which either didn’t exist or has also been deleted from the WEF website, and even more say it was on YouTube but was deleted. The video, however, is still in circulation, which I’ll post in the thread. Using the way-back-machine, an internet archive, I was able to access “8 predictions for the world in 2030” on the WEF website, written by Ceri Parker, Commissioning Editor, Agenda, World Economic Forum. This is the first prediction, which lines up with the video’s “You will own nothing, and you will be happy” except in this version… it’s a little less happy: “1. All products will have become services. “I don't own anything. I don't own a car. I don't own a house. I don't own any appliances or any clothes,” writes Danish MP Ida Auken. Shopping is a distant memory in the city of 2030, whose inhabitants have cracked clean energy and borrow what they need on demand. It sounds utopian, until she mentions that her every move is tracked and outside the city live swathes of discontents, the ultimate depiction of a society split in two.” All predictions in the article: 1. All products will have become services. 2. There is a global price on carbon. 3. US dominance is over. We have a handful of global powers. 4. Farewell hospital, hello home-spital. 5. We are eating much less meat. 6. Today’s Syrian refugees, 2030’s CEOs. 7. The values that built the West will have been tested to breaking point. 8. “By the 2030s, we'll be ready to move humans toward the Red Planet.” All of these line up with the video, but written in different ways, and ordered differently. So it is safe to say the video was produced by the WEF and the phrase is true. According to “the Sociable”, WEF Managing Director Adrian Monck denies that they ever supported the phrase “own nothing, be happy”. He claims it was an anti-Semitic slur originating on an online forum. This seems to be a misdirection and a play on words however, as that phrase is different from the phrase in the video. “Penetrate the cabinets” This is an actual quote and is not taken out of context, video below. Klaus Schwab, the leader of the World Economic forum said this in front of a large audience whilst he was explaining that many “young global leaders” are apart of the World Economic Forum and are working towards the goals of the WEF. It essentially means that he and the WEF aim to install leaders who are sympathetic and/or actively working towards the goals of the WEF in all major governmental leadership positions around the world, thus his aim is undeniably to penetrate the cabinets in the typical context that it is used. "What we are very proud of now […] is that we penetrate the cabinets. Prime Minister Trudeau […] Half of his cabinet are actually “Young Global Leaders” of the World Economic Forum..." – Klaus Schwab “You will eat the bugs!” I can’t find anything of Klaus Schwab ever saying this. However, the WEF have supported the underlying concept behind that phrase. Here are some articles I pulled directly from the WEF website: 5 reasons why eating insects can reduce climate change. - Amrou Awaysheh (This is the only one that is titled as an “opinion” piece). Why we need to give insects the role they deserve in our food. - President and Chief Executive Officer, Ÿnsect. Good grub: why we might be eating insects soon. - Sean Fleming, Senior Writer, Formative Content. Could insect farms meet our food demands of the future? - Karl Plume Reporter, Reuters. “This article is published in collaboration with Thomson Reuters Foundation trust. org”. And from this last article I named, I pulled this: “Nutritionists and scientists have long touted insect consumption for humans as a sustainable and cheap source of protein, but snacking on bugs is a stomach-churning prospect […] Introducing insect protein further down the food chain may be more palatable.” From what I’ve seen, the main way to get people to “eat ze bugs” is through a protein powder/paste made from crickets and mealworm. Most likely in the form of burger patties and similar meat product imitations. There are multiple companies that have already begun mass production of insects to be used in food products, one notable company is called Ynsect, who’s president has written articles for the World Economic Forum. Eating insects, according to the WEF and contained in the articles I named, is a cheaper and more efficient option than both animal farming and soybean farming. Whilst doing research for this I also found a lot of videos of what seemed to be Klaus Schwab saying, “You vill eat ze bugs!” but they were made with AI and weren’t actually real. Many celebrities have endorsed eating bugs including Nicole Kidman and Robert Downy Jr. (videos in thread) and there is a clear trend in mainstream media and Hollywood to support eating vegan products and/or insects. Contradictory by ideological standpoints yet makes sense when considering the WEF’s view on what types of farming are more viable economically, and their enthusiasm to sway high profile people to support their program. Is Argentinian President Javier Milei working with the WEF? As far as I can tell, he isn’t very supportive of the WEF, he may at some point have wished to work with them and he does appear on their website, but the video of him in a WEF panel, which I’ll post below with an English voiceover, shows that he is against the typical Keynesian-Fabian socialistic theme of the World Economic Forum. In the video he is actually arguing the point to the panel that libertarian free market economics is superior, something which would clash with the WEF’s direction. Javier was the senior economist at HSBC bank, it is no stretch of the imagination to think that it would be enticing for a senior economist to be recognized as apart of something called the World Economic Forum for status reasons, rather than ideological ones. However, I can’t rule that out. From the above you can see clear cut explanations of common accusations in as unbiased of a manner as I could make it in regards to some of the major online talking points for why the WEF is a danger to society. Alex James. (thread continues ⬇️)

In a Forbes article contributed by the World Economic Forum, it envisions a future in 2030 where people own nothing and have no privacy, yet life is supposedly better. The idea is to lease everything, including cell phones, appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, and dishwashers. The concern arises when considering the power these big tech companies would have if they decide to cancel individuals who step out of line, as they did with the Russians by cutting off their access to Netflix.

And if you lease why why shouldn't you lease your refrigerator or your washing machine or your dishwasher or why do you wanna own it? I mean, it's not like the plastic stick in the middle. The speaker discusses the skill shortages in Argentina and the role of public education. They argue that while Argentinian individuals are successful abroad, they often struggle locally. The speaker highlights the importance of private sector education in meeting market demands, while criticizing the public sector for not focusing on practical skills. They give an example of an economist with a Marxist background who has not been successful in managing the economy. The speaker also mentions the need for quality education and the impact of trainers on the country's economy.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Of, the potential for growing your firm or or the rest of the society, where are the skill shortages? In general, when one talks about the Argentinian case, what one finds is that they are very capable people, people that when they go out of the country are very successful. But however, locally speaking, they might fail. And so there are some issues. For example, the first one has to do with the role of public education, for example, when one sees the result, you find that every time the formation or the training from the private sector is most important, for example, the first myth that needs to be corrected is for the public sector to say that's not true, that's false. For example, the private sector in education generates what the market demands. However, the public sector, as its sustainability and results, do not depend on how successful they are in the placing of professionals in the market, they dedicate to the formation of professionals that live outside of the scheme of reality. A good example, for example, for instance, in the case of Argentina, we can say it's of our Minister of Economy. We have an economist who has graduated with honors, with all of the honors, but with a Marxist profile, and 4 years ago, the economy has not launched out with the best performances in its history or with the best exchange history, an economy mean, that has to have been growing at 7%, 8% or 9%, is currently debating on if it's not or if it is in crisis. So depending on the needs of the market and what the market dictates, well, clearly, it's satisfied by the private sector. And so there is an issue of how this system generates the signals and how it internalizes it and produces what the market wants. And so I think that it's an interesting point, especially, Ricardo, when you were talking about the case in Brazil and the comparison with what England was and its equivalent, we have to consider it the education that we are generating is an education of quality because you can how many years of schooling and nonetheless, you don't have good output. Why? Because the trainers are not good. And you also have to consider the assessment of who the trainers are, because you can generate a great university full of Marxists, and when you prepare, Ministry of Economy, then it's going to have a different impact to the economy in the country. In my country, that happens in different levels.

Spain is currently experiencing violent riots as nationalist protestors clash with the socialist government. The government's attempt to wipe Catalonian debt to gain support from separatists has sparked outrage. This uprising reflects a growing resistance against socialism worldwide. Right-wing nationalists in Europe are also being targeted, with assassination attempts taking place. Australians are urged to stand against socialism, as their own two-party system is filled with socialists. Spanish factions, including the Falangists, are uniting against socialist oppression. The protests are not solely about immigration but encompass various underlying issues orchestrated by socialists and globalists. The article aims to shed light on the situation and awaken people to the dangers of socialism.

@actualAlexJames - Alex James

🚨Happening now. 🚨 Spain riots against socialist takeover. Video thread ⬇️ Spain has erupted into furious and violent riots as nationalist protestors clash with the government. Recently the socialist government has signaled its intent to wipe Catalonian debt to garner the support of the Catalan separatists in order to form government and avoid and essentially buy an election. This is not unprecedented however, as most western nations are firmly under the specter of socialism. Socialism has one goal. To lull the people into complacency in order to control them. But lions don’t crave safety, they crave freedom. And so the Spanish people have had enough and scenes are erupting all over showing that socialism has no place in Spanish society, and in fact, has no place anywhere else in the world. Supplementary to this, Right-wing nationalists all over Europe are being targeted and assassination attempts have been made. With Spain’s Vox party official being shot in the face. “The shooting came just hours after the politician tweeted his opinion on the agreement between the PSOE and the Junts party, which paved the way for caretaker prime minister Pedro Sanchez to enjoy another term.” When will all our nations wake up? Our two-party system here in Australia is filled to the brim with socialists who aim to destroy our nation through immigration and an inflated housing crisis. Liberal and labor are both to blame, there is no differences between them. In Spain the nationalists have declared that the people must be in a “permanent state of mobilization”. With mass protests that are now following from this. What we can now clearly see is that the Spanish people are nationalizing and are openly defying socialism, amnesty for Catalan rebels, and what is essentially, the purchasing of an election victory through taxpayer burdened debt wiping. So when will Australians stand up against socialism? Alex James.

The migration crisis in Europe and the US is escalating. Italy and Lampedusa are overwhelmed by illegal immigrants. Politicians fail to address the issue due to corruption and personal interests. Western nations face invasion, while the West's success breeds envy. Multiculturalism leads to balkanization. The West needs leaders like Julius Caesar to protect its heritage. The situation worsens with bomb attacks, shootings, and migrant gangs in Sweden. The West must stand up for itself and preserve its history and culture. Hope lies in leaders like Orban, Le Pen, and Trump. The future depends on us.

@actualAlexJames - Alex James

The migration crisis: The end of the West. A thread 🧵 She was supposed to protect Europe. But the island of Lampedusa has fallen. And Italy soon with it. Within only a few hours 25 boats arrived with 1,500 illegal immigrants on board. In just 9 months Giorgia Meloni has allowed over 105,000 illegal immigrants to invade Italy, around 400 every single day. But the apocalyptic scenes don’t end there. Over the Atlantic Ocean, Elon Musk travels to the US border to bring light to the fact that the US is also under invasion, with flags even being planted on US soil of foreign nations. This is a massive step up in the crisis, as now that it has become clear that politicians cannot stop the invasion, business tycoons and magnates have begun sacrificing their time and resources to step in where our corrupt governments can’t, much like Donald Trump stepped up to help the people with his presidency and the building of the great US-Mexico wall, which the democrats are now sabotaging. And this is the essence of the crisis. Corruption. Our politicians all over the west could put a stop to this instantly. Just one jot of the pen and the military could solve the issue. Yet it continues. Why? Because the people who control us do not have our best interests in mind. They are more concerned with their corporate international personal standings, with their place in the United Nations, with their position in the world economic forum, that they would gladly sacrifice western civilization for their personal pleasure and riches. As what comes with the success of the British, French, Spain, and American empires comes the jealousy and envy of others. Now those others would gladly pay to see the west fall for their own sick pleasure. Because the current leader of Italy, as she tweaks out on stage, much like Jacinta does, did not have the Italian or western people in mind when she took power. Otherwise, she would expose what is happening to the public, even if it cost her life. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. And NATO, even though it is expanding rapidly, is not passing on its success to the nations it brings into the fold. It spreads like a disease. The sick man of Europe. Capturing vulnerable nations like Finland and Ukraine and exporting in its wake degeneracy unfettered. In Sweden there has been, in a very short time frame, 130 bomb attacks, 283 shootings, and 300 migrant gangs formed. This is not what migrants would do if they loved the country they were moving to, but it is what an invasion force would do. Because genuine migration exists, and these people migrate out of love for the nation and opportunity to be apart of that nation. Yet these modern migrants that we see invading Europe do not assimilate. Abandoning their wives and children. Multiculturalism will be the downfall of the West. Tolerance and sweet words won’t save people from the inevitable balkanization. And so, we are at a crossroads. Do you roll over and take it? Or do you stand up for yourself. For what Julius Caesar dreamed of, what Charles Martel defended, what Charlemagne reinvented, what Queen Isabella expanded, what George Washington culminated. What we need is a Julius Caesar to take back the reigns of the west. Because ideologies die. And modern politics too will die. But Rome is eternal, and Romes’s essence is eternal. Most people have seen the recent trend, where women ask their husbands or boyfriends how often they think about the Roman Empire, and people are shocked that most western men think about Rome nearly daily. This is the essence of who we are, it is our history, it is our eternal culture. This is what we need to keep at the forefront of our minds. To look at the world and everything in it through the lens of empire, progress, and sheer determination. There are people out there currently who are beginning to see clearly through this lens, such as Victor Orban, Le Pen and Donald Trump. But there needs to be more. Stop thinking about what you’re going to do. I’m talking directly to you. Get out there and do what must be done. Alex James. (thread continues…)

7. Are there sleeper cells in the United States? If the US doesn’t do something now, then internal sabotage is just around the corner. The US is in a severe struggle between the Dems and rhinos, vs the American people. The border crisis is out of hand. https://t.co/aERmbLD5rv

The open border situation is allowing countries like Venezuela, Iran, Russia, and China to collaborate, including drug trafficking. The concern is that intelligence operatives and sleeper cells have infiltrated the US, and there are worries about how they might exploit different pressure points to influence American foreign policy. The Securities and Exchange Commission has turned a blind eye to hold them accountable due to financial gains. This poses a significant challenge for managing both foreign policy and the potential threats from within the country. It is seen as a disaster for American foreign policy.

I strongly support expanding the legal immigration system and welcoming hardworking and honest individuals who will contribute to the United States. However, we should not allow people into the country if they are breaking the law. It is important to maintain the law for a reason. We need to balance both aspects by streamlining legal immigration and stopping the overwhelming flow of illegal immigrants. The current situation is straining social services, even in major cities like New York. If we don't take action soon, social services will collapse further.

We should have expedite legal approval for anyone who who sort of falls to that category. But then by the same token, we We should also not be allowing, people in the country if they're if they're breaking the law. That doesn't make sense. The law is there for a reason. So, you know, I think we wanna I think we wanna do both things. Smooth out legal immigration and and then, start stop the, you know, sort of a flow a flow of people that is, of such magnitude that is actually what leading to a collapse of social services to where, even, America's largest city, New York, is buckling under the pressure of, just how many, illegal immigrants are are going to New York. If if New York can't handle it for pretty much, no part of the country can. So, if if we don't do something soon, we're just gonna have, But, like I said, a a collapse in in social services as we're already seeing, in New York. So with that, let me

In the past, the number of people coming to New York City today is nothing compared to the massive influx of immigrants through Ellis Island from 1892 to 1954. Over 12 million immigrants passed through Ellis Island during that time. The daily numbers of people arriving then far exceeded what we see today.
