in 2014 the year that the 49ers injuries began is the same year the substation went from a small local plant to a full regional transmission hub. increased 2000% in capacity this is the detail that matters most in this story in my opinion. https://t.co/YlAp0mNL2b

I can’t believe this EMF conspiracy is still getting traction. So they’ve been practicing next to the plant since 1988, but it’s only become an issue in the last 7 or 8 years, which actually coincides perfectly with when Shanahan took over. And he has a notoriously rigorous practice philosophy that’s been talked about countless times. It’s literally meant to break players down to then build back up (hopefully..but hmm maybe it doesn’t?) Oh and they made widespread changes to their athletic training/strength staff around 2019 that are still in place But sure, let’s blame it on some baseless theories about a power plant

1 year ago I switched back to the iPhone 11 and have never looked back. I no longer get daily headaches + feel way less drained when I look at my phone. That is because the iPhone 11 has little to no screen flicker, one of the most underrated stressors to our body. https://t.co/7Fxw1cJ9ks

Video Transcript AI Summary
Switching from an iPhone 13 back to an iPhone 11 has been the single biggest game changer in terms of product swaps I have made in my eight-year health journey. This is predominantly because the iPhone 11 has little to no flicker. Light flicker from LEDs is one of the most under discussed and underrated stressors to our biology, in my opinion, and it's really problematic for our nervous system and our eyes and our brain. It might be the reason why everyone is so drained after staring at screens all day long, especially their smartphones. Smartphones are worse because they are using OLED displays, and the iPhone 11 is the last generation before they shifted to an OLED display. The smartphones are using what's called pulse width modulation light control at a frequency that is just above visual perception, but is really activating to our nervous system, our eyes, and our brain. You can see this if you have a super slow motion camera and take a video of your iPhone or any modern smartphone. And once you see this, you cannot unsee it because that is what we're staring at all day long. Researchers, even engineers, agree that pulse width modulation light flicker can have severe side effects such as migraines, eye strain, causing epileptic episodes, aggravating symptoms in ASD children, anxiety, panic attacks, etcetera. As someone who suffered from post concussive syndrome, had one too many TBIs, I am really sensitive to pulse width modulation light flicker. So when I shifted back to the iPhone 11, it was truly life changing. Now the iPhone 11 also has fewer frequency bands that it operates in and no five G, which is another benefit. However, the battery life is pretty terrible. It's worth the trade off for me and is also why you have seen a few other folks in the health space talking about switching back to the iPhone 11. I love to see this trend, and I think anyone that has trouble with eye strain, that has trouble with regulating their nervous system, that has a history of concussions should really check out switching back to the iPhone 11 as their main smartphone.

Electro-pollution from non-native EMFs has been a contentious issue since the 1970s, with significant research backing skepticism. I reference @RobertKennedyJr's claims about the dangers of RF and ELF frequencies, which have been linked to health issues. The Navy's Project Sanguine, aimed at using ELF waves for submarine communication, faced public backlash due to suppressed research indicating potential harm. Despite the controversy, I believe unbiased studies are crucial for understanding the health impacts of EMFs, and I support ongoing discussions on this topic.

"Electro-Pollution" from non-native EMFs (nnEMFs) was a hotly debated topic in the 1970s...b/c there was PLENTY of research to warrant skepticism @RobertKennedyJr IS NOT CRAZY EXAMPLE: PROJECT SANGUINE A story of how the U.S. Navy's hid EMF research from the public (THREAD)

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

If you do not know what I am referencing, @RobertKennedyJr recently appeared on the @joerogan podcast and stated that there are "thousands of studies" showing the dangers of radio frequencies (RF)/ cell towers. The backlash has been ridiculous.

There are numerous studies highlighting the dangers of Wi-Fi radiation, particularly from routers. It's advised not to sleep near Wi-Fi devices or allow children to carry cell phones in bras or breast pockets. If necessary, phones should be kept in back pockets instead. Avoid holding phones near your head while sleeping; using speakerphone or earphones is recommended. Legal action has been taken against the FCC and FDA regarding this issue, with a court ruling in favor of raising awareness about the risks associated with Wi-Fi radiation.

RFK is referring to WiFi nnEMFs here, which are in the RF band This thread will be discussing ELF frequencies (<300Hz) in the greater context of non native electro-pollution It seems that ELF & RF nnEMFs are the most problematic for human health. I will post more threads on RFs

"Radiofrequency (RF) EMF and extremely-low-frequency (ELF) MF have been classified as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B) by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). The production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), potentially leading to cellular or systemic oxidative stress, was frequently found to be influenced by EMF exposure in animals and cells." First study i had already open about nnEMFs. Again, need to have more proper studies done (unlikely to happen), but if you aren't skeptical at least based on the current evidence then you are in my opinion just another sheep. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8038719/

PROJECT SANGUINE In 1969 the Navy wanted to build a giant antenna in Northern Wisconsin. The antenna was to be used to communicate w/ nuclear subs below the surface so they didn’t have to change their depth to get a signal through (making them vulnerable)...

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

This was possible b/c the antenna would use extremely low frequency (ELF) waves instead of RF, thus being able to penetrate through water. Electropollution was a hot topic, so the Navy set up a committee of scientists to review 15 years of work on naval research on ELF effects.

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

Their conclusion: The antenna was to broadcast at 45-70Hz, very close to the earth’s Schumann’s Resonance frequencies…similar magnitude fields at that frequency had been show to raise human blood triglyceride levels, and change blood pressure + brain wave pattern in animals.

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

The scientists did warn that the 60Hz power grid, which had much stronger fields, may have already impaired the U.S. population. The Navy reviewed the findings and never released the report...

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

In 1974, after being made aware of potential power line concerns by a scientist in that Navy committee, the NY Public Service Commissions asked for a copy of the report & were denied. They then asked the scientists to testify on these concerns, where they stated the following:

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

“ELF fields at power line intensity or less has been linked to bone tumors in mice, slowed heartbeats in fish, and various chemical changes in the brain, blood + liver in rats.” Stunned, attorneys asked to postpone the hearing for one more year.

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

The scientists continued their own research. They found that three generations of rats bred in a 60Hz, 100-150V/cm electric field showed severely stunted growth, especially amongst males. These scientists were Robert O. Becker & Andrew Marino

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

When the hearings resumed, the utilities had hired microwave science researchers to debunk all of the scientists claims as “farfetched”. As part of their response, Marino and Becker exposed the Navy’s Sanguine report…

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

This led to public outcry from Wisconsin senator Gaylord Nelson who refused to let his constituents be public guinea pigs (although the whole country was for the power grid). The Navy quickly shifted the project to Michigan’s upper peninsula rebranding it as Project Seafarer

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

This led to EVEN MORE public uproar. Michigan's locals wanted no part of this project, and the 4000 SQUARE MILES of cable required to run this ELF antenna for submarine communication. In 1977, a 60 minutes special on the topic aired... https://robertobecker.net/media/Becker60Minutes.mp4

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

In this special, Robert O. Becker was also interviewed and defended his stance publicly that ELF EMFs CAN be harmful to human health. This special highlighted how the Navy suppressed the report for 3 YEARS from the public, but also gave insight to all perspectives.

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

The result? After many construction delays, another renaming to Project ELF and more Becker testimonials against it, the antenna was finished in 1989 and operating until 2004 before being shut down.

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

This public stance against ELF EMFs, and the Navy was a death sentence for Becker's research career. And this is a large reason why there is VERY LITTLE unbiased research on biological effects of nnEMFs since this time period.

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

This is why I am skeptical of anyone who dismisses the biological effects of nnEMFs as "woo" or "lacking evidence". It is clear that this topic has been suppressed heavily from being researched, but that has not stopped some from writing/investigating more about it...

I find it ironic that most outdoor apparel is made with toxic chemicals, especially Gore Tex, which is coated with harmful PFAs. With polyester dominating the fabrics, it's detrimental to both health and the environment. I'm advocating for a return to natural fibers in the outdoors, which is why I started @WyomingBased.

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

Ironically, the vast majority of apparel in the outdoor industry is made of toxic chemicals. Gore Tex likely being the worst offender, double coated with PFAs (forever chemicals) for water "proofing" Polyester (made from petrochemicals also) comprising the majority of fabrics. Bad for your health, bad for the environment. Let's return to natural fibers in the outdoors. This is why we started @WyomingBased

Gore-Tex is claimed to be a scam. Gore-Tex was discovered in 1969 by Bob Gore after years of working at DuPont developing polyfluorinated chemicals, also known as Teflon. Teflon chemicals are known to negatively affect the environment and the human immune system as forever chemicals that have made it into waterways and bloodstreams. DuPont was sued when it was discovered they knew fluorinated chemicals were harmful but covered it up to continue selling Teflon. Gore discovered that heating and rapidly stretching poisonous fluorinated chemicals creates a porous membrane with microscopic holes, allowing vapor to pass through but not water. He left DuPont, started Gore-Tex, and marketed his discovery as the ultimate breathable waterproof fabric.

Speaker 0: Is that Gore Tex is a complete and utter scam. Let me explain. Gore Tex was discovered by Bob Gore in 1969 after years of working at DuPont helping to develop polyfluorinated chemicals, better known as Teflon or Ferrero chemicals. What about Teflon? They are now known to wreak havoc on the environment and the human immune system. Doing over those so called forever chemicals that have made it into waterways and even our own bloodstreams. To the extent that DuPont was sued when it was discovered, they knew fluorinated chemicals were bad for us, but covered it up because they didn't wanna stop selling Teflon. She uses Resolve carpet cleaner with DuPont Teflon. Seriously, there's a whole movie about it. Well, when Gore discovered that if you heat up and rapidly stretch those same poisonous fluorinated chemicals, it creates a porous membrane with thousands of microscopic holes, each one just large enough for vapor to pass through but too small for water to enter. He left DuPont and started the brand that we now know as Gore Tex and began marketing his discovery as the ultimate breathable waterproof fabric. Gorgeous.

Eating carbs before bed can lead to leptin resistance over time. I now only eat carbs during the day or after a workout. Another post suggests that eating sugar at night can improve sleep by reducing cortisol levels and increasing serotonin. However, eating anything before bed consistently is not recommended as it doesn't address the root cause of sleep issues. Carbs at night can be a temporary solution for relaxation after a stressful day.

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

Eating carbs right before bed is an easy way to develop leptin resistance over time, as insulin competes w/ leptin in the hypothalamus I too used to be a dinner carb maximalist, but now I try to only eat carbs around mid day outside in sunlight / post workout = feel incredible https://t.co/MsVuSgwTK7

@rafdelafuente - raf ❁

I get the best sleep by eating sugar at night. (I’m about to start a war with this tiny post) But it’s true. It makes sense because sugar lowers cortisol levels which means less stress undergoing in your body as well as serotonin (props to @celestialbe1ng for explaining this). That’s why my go to an hour before bed is either a small scoop of ice cream or raw milk with ceremonial cacao & maple syrup. Eat more ice cream (at least I will).

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

eating anything right before bed consistently is a bad idea for this same reason If you aren’t sleeping well carbs at night are a band aid fix and doesn’t address root cause of neurotransmitter/melatonin issues BUT if you had the most stressful day of your life & need to relax - by all means

CONVEYOR OF DARKNESS Melatonin works in tandem w/ cortisol to maintain the proper sleep/wake cycle...aka circadian rhythm When this rhythm is disrupted, you increase your risk of all modern chronic disease tremendously. You are also getting far lower quality sleep + restoration

MELATONIN & MITOCHONDRIAL HEALTH The most underdiscussed area of melatonin... Melatonin improves mitochondrial function in numerous ways + helps maintain redox homeostasis Melatonin produced in mitochondria is not released into systemic circulation such as in the pineal gland

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

-Enhances mito. uptake of pyruvate -Reduces electron leakage by accelerating ETC -Lowers free radical generation -Supports mito. transfer from healthy to injured cells -Regulates mito. biogenesis, fusion, fission, mitophagy -Helps maintain mito. membrane Melatonin does it all.

If you want healthy mitochondria, which is likely the most important aspect of health, you want to have sufficient production of melatonin. MELATONIN IS SO IMPORTANT THAT MITOCHONDRIA SYNTHESIZE IT FOR THEIR OWN INTERNAL USE This is totally seperate of pineal produced melatonin

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

In fact, only 5% of MELATONIN in the body is produced in the pineal gland. The majority is produced in our microbiome and mitochondria The GI tract contains 400x amount of melatonin compared to pineal/blood levels

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

SO how is Melatonin produced in the body? The aromatic amino acid Tryptophan is converted into 5-HTP, then Serotonin, which is then eventually converted into Melatonin. This is also why 5-HTP is a popular sleep supplement

PINEAL GLAND MELATONIN PRODUCTION PATHWAY During Darkness: fibers from our Superior Cervical Ganglia (SCG) signal norepinephrine release to stimulate melatonin synthesis

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

During Daytime: Blue light signals via the eyes -->SCN --> SCG to lower the norepinephrine release thus lower melatonin production. Blue light is the key signaling wavelength (~440-480nm) & is the most effective at suppressing pineal melatonin production

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

HOW TO OPTIMIZE MELATONIN PRODUCTION 1. Optimize Circadian Rhythm 2. Get Ample Sunlight (NIR rich) 3. Eat Nutrient Dense, ORGANIC foods It's that simple

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

Okay fine, how about this list: -Block Artificial Blue Light -Consistent Sleep/Wake times (seasonal) -Avoid changing time zones too frequently -Maximize exposure to NIR light -DO NOT supplement regularly w/ Melatonin -Mitigate nnEMFs -Eat nutrient dense, glyphosate free foods

GLYPHOSATE How could i forget. Well it turns out that Glyphosate absolutely nukes our microbiome's ability to produce tryptophan (alongside B vitamins & more)...which thus affects synthesis of Serotonin + Melatonin Avoid glyphosate at all costs. https://www.mdpi.com/2076-3921/12/10/1825#:~:text=Conclusions,the%20commercial%20formulation%20of%20glyphosate.

Long-Term Effects of Perinatal Exposure to a Glyphosate-Based Herbicide on Melatonin Levels and Oxidative Brain Damage in Adult Male Rats Concerns have been raised regarding the potential adverse health effects of the ubiquitous herbicide glyphosate. Here, we investigated long-term effects of developmental exposure to a glyphosate-based herbicide (GBH) by analyzing serum melatonin levels and cellular changes in the striatum of adult male rats (90 days old). Pregnant and lactating rats were exposed to 3% GBH (0.36% glyphosate) through drinking water from gestational day 5 to postnatal day 15. The offspring showed reduced serum melatonin levels (43%) at the adult age compared with the control group. The perinatal exposure to GBH also induced long-term oxidative stress-related changes in the striatum demonstrated by increased lipid peroxidation (45%) and DNA/RNA oxidation (39%) together with increased protein levels of the antioxidant enzymes, superoxide dismutase (SOD1, 24%), glutamate–cysteine ligase (GCLC, 58%), and glutathione peroxidase 1 (GPx1, 31%). Moreover, perinatal GBH exposure significantly increased the total number of neurons (20%) and tyrosine hydroxylase (TH)-positive neurons (38%) in the adult striatum. Mechanistic in vitro studies with primary rat pinealocytes exposed to 50 µM glyphosate demonstrated a decreased melatonin secretion partially through activation of metabotropic glutamate receptor 3 (mGluR3), while higher glyphosate levels (100 or 500 µM) also reduced the pinealocyte viability. Since decreased levels of the important antioxidant and neuroprotector melatonin have been associated with an increased risk of developing neurodegenerative disorders, this demonstrates the need to consider the melatonin hormone system as a central endocrine-related target of glyphosate and other environmental contaminants. mdpi.com

In our modern world, we live indoors surrounded by blue light + nnEMFs (non vis. light) that give our body the WRONG input signals & shut off melatonin production We lack sunlight exposure (rich in NIR) which stimulates melatonin production It doesn't have to be this way. https://t.co/7KageDutVe

But can't we just supplement Melatonin instead Tristan? I wouldn't recommend it. I would ONLY consider time released melatonin supp for very short duration if you are changing time zones drastically or have cancer. WHY?

@bitcoinand_beef - Tristan | Decentralized Health

Dosing, timing, deuterium, shady supp companies, etc. Read this Tart cherry juice/powder is a much better alternative Fix the root cause. Band aids are bullshit.

SUMMARY -Melatonin is one of the MOST important compounds we endogenously produce -Our modern lifestyle is disrupting melatonin production -Do not underestimate the power of restoring your circadian rhythm by embracing sunlight and blocking artificial light -Melatonin supps ❌
