Speaker 0: After a bomb explosion caused by terrorists on the British headquarters of Jerusalem, one entire corner of the King David Hotel, a building of 7 stories was raised to the ground. Speaker 1: Today is the anniversary of the terrorist bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, Palestine on July 22nd, 1946. The attack, conducted by Israeli extremists, remains one of the deadliest terror attacks ever inflicted against UK citizens in history. In 1946, the King David Hotel was the headquarters of UK officials administering UK control over Palestine. The massacre which killed 91 people and left 40 6 injured also set a deadly example for extremism in the region. Speaker 0: Men of the army and the police were working with cranes, bulldozers, drills and shovels to reach the unfortunate victims still buried in the wreckage. Speaker 1: Experts have long contended the Zionist nationalists were the original terror group of the Middle East. The Ogun and other groups which masterminded and carried out the King David Hotel massacre, were not fringe, but mainstream, and went on to form the backbone, foundation and ideology of the modern Israeli occupation forces and government. Today, they want the indigenous Palestinians wiped out. In 1946, they wanted the British out of Palestine too. And much like today, the attack was carried out by Zionists dressed up as Arabs, reminiscent of similar attacks carried out by the IDF in recent months. Diolgud, disguised as Arab staff and workmen, planted the bomb in the main building of the King David Hotel. At just after half past 12 on the afternoon of July 22nd, 1946, the Ogun, green lighted by the Haganah, detonated the bomb in the King David Hotel, occupied by UK officials and other nationalities. The devastating blast tore through the southern wing of the hotel, destroying the building, killing 91 human beings, leaving the victims buried in the rubble. The attack was so bad, that some have argued that the bombing was the reason why the queen refused to ever visit Israel. Some might dismiss the attack as ancient history, but in reality, this is not the case. Many Israelis still celebrate and honor the attack in the present day. In 2006, a plaque celebrating the attack was unveiled with Benjamin Netanyahu attending the event. Remember too, that Netanyahu is a political disciple of Vladimir Jabotinsky, the man who founded the Diogun, the very group which carried out the King David Hotel bombing. The King David Hotel bombing was not the first first or the last time Israel has brazenly attacked its so called allies. Israeli extremists also plotted and nearly succeeded killing 34 crew members, injuring 170 killing 34 crew members, injuring 171 others. During the Falklands War, Israel also provided weapons to Argentina, which were used to kill UK servicemen, sinking and destroying British ships. There are many more examples reminding us that Israel has no hesitation in killing UK or American citizens and many others. In May 2022, Israel also killed the Palestinian journalist and American citizen, Shireen Abu Akleh, in what was widely viewed as a blatant, deliberate assassination. Zionist extremism has remained constant ever since the bombing of the King David Hotel in 1946. Those extremists paved the way for modern terror by using letter bombs, murdering diplomats, civil servants, members of the police and armed forces. The legacy of Israeli terror has had a ripple effect throughout the region and the entire world. UK and US leaders, however, dare not speak this history. Remember too, that the Hannibal directive means that Israel is even willing to kill its own people in defense of its interests. As we remember the bombing of the King David Hotel and the legacy it created, millions around the world are now asking a simple question. How can the United Kingdom and the United States continue to support Israel when Israel continues to murder thousands of Palestinian civilians and killed many UK nationals and officials? Why do our leaders so uncritically support the occupation when Israel has so brazenly compromised the UK on so many occasions? How can so many people who claim to be UK Patriots, support Israel, when Israel clearly has such contempt for Britain? It's a relationship, which more and more people are starting to question like never before, and demand comes to an end. Speaker 0: Once more, the civilized world has received a rude shock at the hands of fanatics whose wanton act is contrary to the dictates of all creeds alike, And imperils the best interest of the cause that it strives to promote.

Cigarette burns, electrocution, spitting in people's mouths, sleep deprivation and more: Israel's torture camp in Gaza @michellesaahene for @incontextmedia https://t.co/KekXf59M0z

Video Transcript AI Summary
Israel has been accused of running a torture camp where Palestinian men and boys are subjected to violent detainment and humiliation. Videos have emerged showing these actions, which include electric shocks, burns, deprivation of basic needs, and physical abuse. These acts are committed against innocent civilians who have no affiliation with Hamas. The Israeli army films these actions, challenging the belief in their untouchability. This treatment not only poses a threat to the safety of Palestinians but also fuels resistance against the occupation. The normalization of racism and corruption of morality through mandatory military service perpetuate this cycle of violence. The world should be concerned about the impunity with which one of the most powerful armies can commit such acts, as it raises questions about who could be targeted next.

Speaker 0: Israel has a torture camp. Since December 7th, at least 49 videos have surfaced showing the violent detainment of Palestinian men and boys and the humiliation inflicted upon them. The Israeli army films their own actions doing these heinous things, which excludes the belief in their untouchability. Most of these civilians have absolutely nothing to do with Hamas, and Israel knows and confirms this. Yes. Some of these innocent civilians don't make it back to their families. Now brace yourself for some of the things I'm about to share with you of the things that Palestinian men and boys say that they have endured, electric shocks to their bodies while they're stripped down to their underwear, cigarette lighter burns on their skin, being deprived of food and sleep, being deprived of using the bathroom until they defecate on themselves, being spit on not just on their bodies, but in their mouths by soldiers, being tied to a fence and blindfold for almost the entire day. Now mind you, This is all happening while their homes are being raided and set on fire, and their wives have no idea where their husbands and their sons are. And this is also being done to completely innocent people. All of this means a less safe Palestinian population, and a literal torture camp would only create a larger resistance movement. And isn't ending the resistance what this whole thing is supposed to be about the first place? What does it say about a society who finds this perfectly justifiable based off of supremacist ideology, who requires that their citizens enlist in the army, essentially corrupting the morality of the majority of their youth and normalizing racism for generations to come. These are some of the points arguing for complete ends of the occupation. This has been happening since before December 7th and before October 7th. How can the world feel safe When one of the most powerful armies in the world can do this with impunity, if they can justify doing it to the Palestinians, who can I justify doing it to next?

Israel's war crimes towards Palestinians include the use of banned white phosphorus in civilian areas, illegal settlements in Palestinian territories, extensive destruction of homes, targeting of public infrastructure, intentional starvation, and attacks on humanitarian assistance. These actions violate international law and result in immense suffering for the Palestinian people. It is crucial to address these violations and hold Israel accountable for its actions.

ISRAEL'S WAR CRIMES TOWARDS PALESTINIANS 🧵 Mainstream narrative won't point the obvious: Israel is committing war crimes in Gaza, and the whole Palestine. Let's focus on few examples that violate Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court. Israel is not the member, but Palestine is. 1) WHITE PHOSPHORUS While white phosphorus in theory is not banned 'within battlefield', using it in civilian areas is. This highly toxic substance can cause high degree burns, destroy bones, liver, heart, kidneys and even cause death. Article 8.2.a.(iii) Wilfully causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or health; Article 8.2.b.(xvii) Employing poison or poisoned weapons; Article 8.2.b.(xviii) Employing asphyxiating, poisonous or other gases, and all analogous liquids, materials or devices; 🧵 1/6

2) ILLEGAL SETTLEMENTS There are currently around 250 illegal Israeli settlements in West Bank and East Jerusalem, lands that were meant to be under the State of Palestine. Total number of Israeli settlers on those areas is estimated to be around 733.000. Despite International Court of Justice’s opinion of their illegality, there are currently plans for 5.700 more settlement homes and areas (per June 2023). Article 8.2.b.(viii) The transfer, directly or indirectly, by the Occupying Power of parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies, or the deportation or transfer of all or parts of the population of the occupied territory within or outside this territory; 🧵 2/6

@incontextmedia - In Context

3) EXTENSIVE DESTRUCTION Recent assault on Gaza brought so far over 45% of Gazan housing units destroyed. Gaza is a closed space, one of the most densely populated areas on earth. Extensive destruction of civilian housing units that are not military targets is consider one of the elements of ethnic cleansing, since population is forced to move or not being able to rebuild homes – Israel forbids transport of building materials into Gaza. Article 8.2.a.(iv) Extensive destruction and appropriation of property, not justified by military necessity and carried out unlawfully and wantonly; 🧵 3/6

@incontextmedia - In Context

4) PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE Only in the last days Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza, killing hundreds, the oldest Church in Gaza, Mosque, destroyed facilities that provides electricity and water. UN school was also destroyed, and rows of other public infrastructure and buildings. Article 8.2.b. (ix) Intentionally directing attacks against buildings dedicated to religion, education, art, science or charitable purposes, historic monuments, hospitals and places where the sick and wounded are collected, provided they are not military objectives; 🧵 4/6

@incontextmedia - In Context

5) INTENTIONAL STARVATION Yoav Gallant, Israeli Defense Minister, said on 9 October: “I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed. (…) We are fighting human animals, and we are acting accordingly.” Transports of food and medications was almost impossible for many years. Even UN’s aid was forbidden by Israel from entering Gaza. 97% of water sources in Gaza is not for human consumption. Article 8.2.b. (xxv) Intentionally using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare by depriving them of objects indispensable to their survival, including wilfully impeding relief supplies as provided for under the Geneva Conventions; 🧵 5/6

@incontextmedia - In Context

6) HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE One of the most heinous examples of war crimes is deliberately targeting medical staff, hospital, UN & Red Crescent units and vehicles. People that should be protected under every possible international law can’t feel safe in Palestine, being under constant attacks from Israel. UNRWA lost 57 of their staff in Gaza. They were not ‘collateral damage’, there are of operations are well known and targeted those places must be consider a war crime. Article 8.2.b. (iii) Intentionally directing attacks against personnel, installations, material, units, or vehicles involved in a humanitarian assistance or peacekeeping mission in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations, as long as they are entitled to the protection given to civilians or civilian objects under the international law of armed conflict. 🧵 6/6
