Run a free, uncensored, offline ChatGPT-like on your laptop. You can use any open-source LLM without any technical knowledge. I'll show you how in 3 easy steps: https://t.co/GioKYZMRzm
@itsPaulAi - Paul Couvert
Start by downloading LM Studio to your computer. Available on Windows / MacOS / Linux here: lmstudio(dot)ai https://t.co/Nl3iOA35pd
@itsPaulAi - Paul Couvert
Then open LM Studio and go to the 🔎 icon to search for an LLM. I recommend "TheBloke/OpenHermes -2.5 -Mistral -7B -GGUF", which is brilliant. Then download the "Q6_K" version, a good compromise between compression and quality (this is the one I use). Note: downloading may take a while depending on your Internet connection.
@itsPaulAi - Paul Couvert
All that's left is to open a new conversation by clicking on "💬". Select the model you've just downloaded in the top bar (as in the video) and write your prompt as on ChatGPT. https://t.co/qGg8LEhjkO

Note: speed depends on your laptop. If you have a dedicated GPU or an ARM Mac (M1, M2, M3) this will be the fastest. But I don't have either, and it's still perfectly usable.

It's crazy how slow and inaccurate ChatGPT's internet search is. Don't use it for academic purposes, this free AI tool is much better. Here's a simple tutorial on how to access and use this tool: https://t.co/Ptc3TekJmG
@itsPaulAi - Paul Couvert
1. Go to Perplexity and select the right focus We're going to use Perplexity. It’s the fastest and most reliable AI tool for all web searches (non-sponsored). - Go to pplx .ai - Create an account if you want to keep your conversations. Then click on the ‘Focus’ button and then on ‘Academic’. Perplexity will focus its research on academic papers.
@itsPaulAi - Paul Couvert
2. Enter your prompt Just write your prompt and Perplexity will take care of answering your question. It will also find the best academic references related to your subject. Example: “What is the impact of frequent texting on teen literacy rates?” You'll be impressed by how fast it responds (the video is at real speed). Questions related to your prompt will appear at the bottom. Click on one and Perplexity will automatically reply to it to dig deeper into your topic.
@itsPaulAi - Paul Couvert
3. Check Sources and Share Perplexity shows you the academic sources used at the bottom of its answer. You can easily search for them individually to check their reliability. You can also share your conversation to anyone in 2 clicks: - Click ‘Share’ at the top right - Next, click on ‘Shareable’ - The link is automatically copied! Note: Pro version allows you to use GPT-4 and Claude 2 to further improve the answers.

4. Use Copilot Instead of quick, generic results, Copilot engages with you. It allows you to fine-tune the answers by understanding more about your needs. Activate it by checking the box before asking your question. Copilot will sometimes ask you additional questions to fully understand your topic and answer it as best as possible. You can use it 5 times every 4 hours with the free version.

Dall-E 3 now lets you modify the images you generate. You can add elements, change colors and much more. I'll show you how to do this easily directly in ChatGPT: https://t.co/0bUdiD4QHs
@itsPaulAi - Paul Couvert
1. Generate your first image Start by generating images with the prompt you want. Example: "a realistic child in a blue hoodie staring into the lens". Note: You can also change the image format by adding 16:9 to generate a horizontal image, or 9:16 for a vertical one. https://t.co/y0WWsBjCRY
@itsPaulAi - Paul Couvert
2. Request image seed Each image has a specific identifier called the "seed". Ask ChatGPT for the seed of the image you want to modify. For example, for the first image, the prompt is : "What is the seed of image 1?" Once you have this seed, you can move on to modifying the image!
@itsPaulAi - Paul Couvert
3. Modify image Use this prompt to modify the image you have chosen: "Modify image [1] with seed [1470033597]: add a parrot on her shoulder" Dall-E 3 identifies the image and makes the changes for you! Tips and tricks: - You can generate as many variations as you like. - It's also possible to remove an element from the image using the same method. - Sometimes the image isn't 100% identical, but still looks very similar.
