Excellent news! The Oklahoma House of Representatives Public Health Committee approved the bill to ban child transition today. It heads back to the House with slightly amended and excellent language. (See below.) In addition to banning child transition, it will be a felony for any practitioner who violates this law. Children can also sue until age 45. The House should overwhelmingly approve this.

For years, leading medical organizations, the mainstream news media, and Democratic politicians have argued that surgeons should be able to operate on the bodies of minors who identify as transgender. They argued that it would be immoral to prevent adolescents from removing and modifying body parts so they resemble those of the opposite sex. Indeed, they claimed, doing so could end up causing them to commit suicide. Sure, some of those young people might regret it later, acknowledged The New York Times’s Lydia Polgren in an extended essay last December. But she said, “We allow children to make irreversible decisions about their lives all the time,” and “sometimes they regret those decisions.” Wrote Polgren, “how is it different, really, from the decision I made to quit competitive swimming?” Gender medicine doctors, therapists, and activists have described such surgeries as part of a “gender journey.” The Biden administration’s Department of Justice recently indicted whistleblower Eithan Haim, a surgeon at Texas Children’s Hospital, who leaked documents showing that the hospital was secretly performing trangender medical treatments on minors. And a US Department of Health and Human Services fact sheet on “Gender-Affirming Care and Young People” promotes “gender-affirming care” including “surgery on genitals or reproductive organs.” At the same time, supporters of such procedures insist that they are too rare to be very worried about. But now the Biden administration has abruptly reversed its position and come out against so-called “gender-affirming surgeries” for minors. “The Biden administration said this week that it opposed gender-affirming surgery for minors,” wrote the New York Times. This is far from a total victory for opponents of gender medical mistreatment for children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults. The Biden administration “expressed opposition only to surgeries for minors, not other treatments,” noted the Times. As a result, the Biden administration still supports allowing doctors to block the puberty of children and give adolescents opposite-sex hormones. Even so, the White House’s reversal is hugely significant. After all, it comes less than a week after it came to light that staff members working for Admiral Rachel Levine, assistant secretary for health at the US Department of Health and Human Services, had in 2021 successfully pressured the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) to remove age limits for breast and genital surgeries on minors. And the reversal comes one month after the UK’s National Health Service banned the prescription of puberty blockers to children and adolescents confused about their gender, both in government hospitals and clinics as well as in private ones. Sweden, too, has banned puberty blockers for children and adolescents. As such, the trend against gender mistreatment is clear. It is only a matter of time before other Democratic officials will be forced to abandon their unethical support for surgeries, puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for minors and join the UK, Sweden, and Republican-led states in banning them for children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults. Achieving that goal will take significant work in the months and years to come, to be sure. Surgeons, doctors, and therapists will cause irreversible damage to thousands of children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults in the meantime by sterilizing them and destroying their sexual function. If we are to shorten the period between now and then, we need to understand why the Biden administration reversed course and why the tide is turning against gender medical mistreatment across the West. I’m afraid I have some terrible news. The governor of America’s largest and richest state has just signed a law that puts 10 million children and adolescents in grave danger of medical mistreatment. The media headlines have it wrong. They claim that California Governor Gavin Newsom’s new law protects children by stopping public schools from outing their new gender to their parents. It does just the opposite. It makes children vulnerable to irreversible and lifelong medical abuse and mistreatment. And it is all based on the pseudoscientific idea that some children are born into the wrong bodies and that we can change a person’s sex through drugs and surgery. For any of this to make sense, you have to understand what’s happening in Britain. Several years ago, the government appointed a well-respected pediatrician named Hillary Cass to investigate whether it was ethical to block the puberty of children, give them opposite-sex hormones, and perform surgeries on their bodies to make them feel better about their gender. Dr. Cass came back a few weeks ago and said no, absolutely not. Around the same time, the British government banned puberty blockers nationwide. And, just a few days ago, the new Labor Party government affirmed that it would maintain the former government’s ban. In her report, Cass said that the so-called “social transition,” whereby a child adopts the identity of the opposite sex, is not a neutral act and has psychological consequences. This means it is the first step toward medical intervention. What Gavin Newsom has done is actively prevented schools from informing parents that their children have been put on a medical pathway. This is an outrageous attack on the rights of children and parents. Children have a right to go through puberty. No adult should be able to block their puberty. And parents have a right to know if their child thinks that they are the opposite sex or were born into the wrong body. We have seen with leaked internal documents of the leading gender medicine group, WPATH, that these medical interventions, namely puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery, are not only irreversible but result in sterilization and loss of sexual function. Children or adolescents are simply not mature enough to understand the effects of so-called “gender-affirming care.” They cannot, in other words, give their informed consent. The new law creates the grave risk that activist teachers, students, and outside groups will convince their children that they were born into the wrong body, and hide their “social transition” from parents, which will lead to harmful medical mistreatment. As such, the law that Newsom just signed is the opposite of what both children and their parents need. We need schools to immediately warn parents if their children think they are the opposite sex. After all, this is a diagnosable psychiatric condition known as “gender dysphoria.” And if your child has a psychiatric disorder, whether anxiety, depression, an eating disorder, or gender dysphoria, you have a right to know. And schools must stop teaching children, or allowing other people to teach children, the pseudoscientific and dehumanizing ideas that it’s possible to be born into the wrong body and possible to change one’s sex. As such, either the legislature, the courts, or a ballot initiative will be required to nullify Newsom’s law. Until then, it is important to spread the word to parents that California public schools are fundamentally unsafe for the millions of children who attend them.

Last year, a whistleblower gave us a trove of leaked internal communications from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). They showed that the organization was violating basic medical ethics and knowingly causing harm to patients. These documents, which we called the “WPATH Files,” revealed that clinicians, while publicly touting the benefits of medical transition, privately admitted that children would come to regret losing their fertility through so-called “gender-affirming care.” Vulnerable patients, they acknowledged, faced a litany of severe adverse effects, including loss of sexual function and major psychological damage from supposed “treatments.” The WPATH Files thus exposed the leading authority on transgender healthcare as morally and scientifically bankrupt. We were, therefore, thrilled to read President Donald Trump’s executive order to restrict puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries for minors. The order uses accurate words, including “mutilation,” rather than euphemisms, to describe the systematic disabling and disfigurement of vulnerable young people. “Across the country today,” the order states, “medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions.” The order notes that WPATH “lacks scientific integrity” and directs all agencies to rescind or amend any policies that cite WPATH’s guidance. Trump’s executive order does not mean that the struggle to end gender-affirming care for minors is over. The practice is legal in 24 U.S. states, which may continue to provide coverage through state-level programs. In 16 states plus the District of Columbia, lawmakers have gone out of their way to create “shield” laws that protect the doctors and other medical professionals engaged in mutilating and sterilizing children from legal liability. And some states have gone further. In July 2024, California passed legislation that lets teachers hide children’s social “transition” from their own parents. However, Trump’s order gives the movement to protect children significant new momentum. The order bans the use of federal funding to cover gender-affirming care for minors, limits research and education grants to institutions that promote such care, and directs the Department of Health and Human Services to issue new regulations. And Trump’s order comes as public and policymaker opposition to gender ideology is growing. Across the United States, a majority of voters oppose transgender medicine for children. Last year, the UK temporarily banned puberty blockers for all minors, including in private clinics. When a new Labour government took over in December, it doubled down on this ban, making it indefinite. Sweden and Finland have revised their guidelines to severely limit the use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for minors. Even steadfastly anti-Trump, Democratic Party-supporting publications like The Atlantic recently published an article against puberty blockers. With these changes, we may be nearing the end of the destructive gender madness that has consumed medical institutions, scientific journals, and universities for far too long. Gender-affirming care may seem like it’s just one of many issues that have become a political liability for Democrats and progressives recently, like censorship, DEI, and the mass migration crisis. But the horror of child mutilation and sterilization is unique. A central responsibility of civilization is to reproduce itself by protecting the welfare of children and by properly guiding them into adulthood. Yet nearly every major institution in our society, from hospitals to elementary schools to Hollywood studios to Fortune 500 companies, actively supported or went along with the inane idea that children “know who they are” and can make life-altering medical “decisions.” Instead of protecting the young, our civilization sacrificed them to deranged activists and medical predators. Speaker 0: Mister chair and committee. My name is Erin Lee representing myself. I'm a mom of three from Larimer County. In 2021, my 12 year old child was socially transitioned in her sixth grade classroom. She was convinced that her normal pubescent discomfort means she's trans and pushed down the path of irreversible medical harm. She was taught by trusted adults that she could pursue puberty blockers, wrong sex hormones, and top surgery to fix herself. She was coached on how to see an affirming therapist and get a gender affirming care letter at school without my knowledge or consent. By the time we found out about this classroom to clinic pipeline she was on, we were threatened with the suicide myth and bullied with the words, would you rather have a living son or a dead daughter? This suicide myth is the entire argument behind transitioning children, but it's not evidence based. There's no proof that if you don't sterilize and mutilate a gender confused child, they will commit suicide. In fact, studies show that suicide risk increases after a young person has been medically transitioned. In fact, ACLU lawyer Chase Strangio admitted to this at the Supreme Court. Since going public, I've spoken to many parents in Colorado whose children have been medically transitioned, some against their will, as is often the case in trans sanctuary states like Colorado. I've also worked with many detransitioners who regret harming their perfectly healthy bodies. Many still deal with lifelong debilitating consequences. This bill will fortify the practice of trafficking children to this state for these irreversible and unscientifically backed medical procedures, which are pushed on children and families based on the suicide myth. You just heard one Colorado testify to the dramatic increase in kids being brought to the state for wrong sex mutilation. I'd be remiss not to point out that sex traffickers are also flocking here for their victims abortions. Virtually every other developed country as well as 27 states have stopped allowing the sterilization, chemical castration, and mutilation of children's otherwise perfectly healthy bodies. But this bill enshrines that practice and protects the doctors who are knowingly breaking their oath to do no harm. Mutilating children's healthy sex organs is not reproductive health care. It's not caring to encourage self hatred. It's not kind to urge physical mutilation for adolescent mental health distress, and Senate Bill one twenty nine eliminates all accountability for medical practitioners doing irreversible sex change procedures on children. It eliminates any course of action for the thousands of kids who have been and will be harmed by these barbaric procedures. It only paves the way for more children to be brought here by their sex traffickers for secret abortions or to be moved here for irreversible sex change procedures that have been proven to only harm their mental health along with their bodies. I urge a no vote.

And something that never, ever happens: It was like 7 o'clock, and my eyes were glassed over, and Jim was like, “Girl, are you okay?” I said, “Hon, I gotta go to sleep. I'm gonna go straight home and go to bed.” And he said, “Okay. Do you want me to wake you up after an hour? So you wanna nap?” And I said, “Well, let me think about it.” Well, when I got my jammies on, I got tucked in bed, I was like, “Nope, Jim, mm-mm, don't wake me up. I'm gonna sleep all through the night.” I said, “I feel that zonked.” So, literally y'all, I went to bed. I was asleep before eight o'clock, and I slept straight through until eight in the morning. I was so tired, and I got up a little bit halfway through, I just had naturally woken up, and I checked Telegram for a few minutes, and then I fell right back to bed. But 12 stinking hours, y'all. And then I got a few things done, and then I felt it hit me again. I literally went back to bed, and I slept another two hours. It was crazy. So, just listen to your body. Whatever your body is telling you to do, please do it, because we're going through some crazy times. And I just want to thank folks for your prayers and your love, and I'm feeling much, much more like myself right now. And it’s much thanks to your amazing prayers and your kindness. You know, you really, really do carry me, and you really are, along with Jesus, the wind beneath my wings. And I just cannot thank you all enough for your goodness to me. Inspiration So, we want to share a little time of inspiration that I think will be a blessing to you. Just reading through a wonderful book, and I love these thoughts. This is a wonderful reflection on the person who knows God; the believer that has experienced a time when God has proven Himself in his or her life. I know a lot of us are there. God has proven Himself to you. We all remember when a huge giant man named Goliath stood in the valley and called for a man from Israel to fight him. There was a young man named David, and David went in to see King Saul, who wanted David to use his own royal armor for the battle. So King Saul was like, “Here, David.” David was just a youth, like a teenager, scrawny little guy. He was a shepherd, and the King of Israel wanted David to put on his own metal armor. Obviously, the metal armor was made to fit his much more adult and mature body. So, David did not want to use the armor, as he said in 1 Samuel 17:39 that, “He had not proved them.” What does that mean, “He had not proved them?” He had not proved the armor. He hadn't worn it. He hadn't tested it. He hadn't tried it. He hadn't done battle in it. He hadn't proved it. So, David had proven his own skills by the killing of a lion and by the killing of a bear, and he felt he could go forward into battle with God's help and get the job done. So, remember, in his job in guarding the sheep, guarding the flock, he was successful using just a rudimentary slingshot. He had that skill like no other, and he was able to take a smooth stone and his slingshot with great aim and great focus and eliminate a lion and a bear that were about to get the sheep. So, he had tested that. God had already proven Himself to David, you see. “When someone has been in a trial or they've been in a time of spiritual drought, a time of proving is necessary to get back into a right relationship with God. The problem with too many Christians or believers today is that they are not too keen on the proving ground. They're not too focused on the proving part. They don't want to know what it's like to fight the lion and the bear first, but they think they're ready to stand in front of everyone and face their Goliaths. You don't face the giant publicly until you have faced the bear and the lion privately.” And I thought that was profoundly beautiful, written by a very good friend of mine, Bill Duttry, in a book called Rebuilding Your Walk, from the book of Ezra, page 18 and 19. “You don't face the giant publicly until you have faced the bear and the lion privately.” And this, as I reflected on those words, this is a time when you and I are facing our bears and facing those lions. And we are in a trial. We are in a battle for survival. It looks a lot different than David's pasture of sheep in his time, all those centuries ago. The battlefield looks different, but it is a battle nonetheless. And I want you to know that I'm proud of you; and I love you; and I see you; and there's nobody else I'd rather be in the foxhole with than you, family. And you're going to make it. Now, y'all will remember some Gintel back when I told you how those 5,000 FBI agents were quickly, quickly arrested. We called it this Midnight Raid. And they also, we told you about how that following morning was a Monday, where they showed up to FBI agencies all over on that Monday morning as well, and the good, good, good guys, these Operators, were supporting these good and decent FBI agents in arresting up to 5,000 agents that morning. They literally, these people showed up to work, and then their cohorts, their comrades in these Special Forces were like, “Uhhh, you're coming with us.” 5,000 were arrested in a day. Now, we shared that with you like the following Tuesday when we were told we could, but we want to remind you that the news got a hold of it. President Trump was talking about 5,000 federal agents, even the news. They were starting to talk about it like two weeks later on mainstream media. So, we were told some more interesting information. Now, this took place just on the heels of Kash Patel's confirmation as the Director of the FBI. So this is recent. I was given this information last week, and I was told this all happened on the 21st. So that was on Friday. It happened, I think, Thursday the 20th. I was told about it the next day, and we were asked to hold on to it, don't say anything about it until after Monday the 24th. So this is from Gunny. Justice has given us this information. Last week, more FBI agents were arrested. There were 500 arrests across the nation in one day. Those were the ones that they were going after. We were also told some interesting, juicy details that Gunny's unit alone by itself arrested 53 FBI agents in one day. Fifty-three, and that was just in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Fifty-three agents, and Justice asked Gunny, “Hey, brother, did any of them put up a fight?” And Gunny responded that only one of them put up a fight.
