Hillel International says its mission is “enriching the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world” through its on-campus network. More than 850 colleges and universities across the Americas and Eurasia are connected to a local Hillel community that serves as a faith community, a Jewish educational resource and a social network to develop professional leadership skills. Bloom helped plan JFK's trip to Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, helped organize security, insisted on the trade mart route for the motorcade, he posted jfk’s route in advance, he had Oswald working on 60 projects for his company before the shooting.
