The most interesting disclosure comes from DoW, which told Committee staff April 16 that "there are no active national security investigations of any reported missing person who was a current or former DoW clearance holder" in SAPs. No agency appears to be running a unified investigation. (2/9)

Building on my NNSA point from last night, this should be FBI-led. NNSA counterintelligence exists to protect classified information, so its investigators answer what leaked, not who killed them. A CI shop investigation produces CI answers regardless of whether CI is the real story. (3/9)

Mark McCandlish, the illustrator who drew the Alien Reproduction Vehicle from witness testimony, died April 13, 2021, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound ruled suicide. Associates report he had contacted Senator Marco Rubio about testifying to the Senate Intelligence Committee on UAP weeks prior. (7/9)

Karl Wolfe, the Disclosure Project witness who in 2001 testified to seeing imaging of lunar structures during his Air Force work at Langley, died October 10, 2018, when a tractor-trailer struck his bicycle in Lansing, NY. Family sources say he planned to testify to Congress on the same material. (8/9)

These older cases are community-tracked rather than establishment investigated, and evidence on them is thinner than on the current Oversight list. But the pattern of cleared personnel in exotic research dying or vanishing does not start in 2023, and the real list is longer than ten or twelve. Here's hoping we get answers. (9/9)
