Chris Grider, who tried to cut the power at the Capitol on Jan. 6, has been sentenced to nearly 7 years in federal prison. Big credit is due to the sleuths here, who surfaced the evidence of the power cutting attempt.

"Once inside the Capitol, Grider found an electric utility box and pressed buttons as he yelled 'Turn the power off!'" https://t.co/z7UPqheleB

Jan. 6 defendant Chris Grider has notified the court that he may argue that he believed he was acting on the actual or believed authority of former President Donald J. Trump "and others acting at the direction of former President Trump” when he stormed the Capitol. https://t.co/w7TNy291Cg

"Donald Trump and his advisers knew that he had in fact lost the election but despite this knowledge they engaged in a massive effort to spread false and fraudulent information to convince huge portions of the U.S. population that fraud had stolen the election from him." -- Defense sentencing memo for Jan. 6 defendant Alex Harkrider

"Trump refused to concede. He showed himself willing to undermine confidence in the democratic process and in time, managed to convince nearly three-quarters of his supporters (to include Mr. Harkrider) that the loser was actually the winner." https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.dcd.227550/gov.uscourts.dcd.227550.310.0.pdf

Marjorie Taylor Greene's boyfriend Brian Glenn thinks Jan. 6 was an "inside job" and that the "whole thing was instigated by antifa." The thing is, he was there! His footage proved very useful in the Jan. 6 investigation, and has been cited by prosecutors! On Jan. 6 itself, he said live on air that "thousands of [Trump] supporters" were on the west front of the Capitol, the scene of the most violence.

If you were wondering how "J6 Praying Grandma" Rebecca Lavrenz entered the Capitol on Jan. 6, here's the east rotunda door she came through. The person filming this video entered the Capitol roughly 2.5 minutes before Lavrenz, who was convicted of misdemeanor offenses. Court evidence from U.S. v. Rhodes et al.:

The person who filmed this video showing the same scene also came through the doors roughly 2.5 mins before Lavrenz:

You’ll be shocked to learn this isn’t true, and that, in fact, the government has yet to make a sentencing recommendation in Rebecca Lavrenz’s case, given that she was just convicted of misdemeanor offenses and sentencing is still months down the line.

“yeah they stood down and retreated after we clearly outnumbered them.” For Anthony Vo (who entered through a door arguably chiller than the one Lavernz entered), DOJ sought 11 months and $500 in restitution. Spoiler: DOJ likely isn't getting 11 months. https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.dcd.234223/gov.uscourts.dcd.234223.142.0.pdf
