Yet somehow without a single vote being cast by a single American voter, Richard Nixon was kicked out of office and replaced by the only unelected president in American history. So we went from the most popular president to a president nobody voted for. Wait a minute, you may ask. Why didn't I know that?
Wasn't Richard Nixon a criminal? Wasn't he despised by all decent people? No. He wasn't. In fact, if any president could claim to be the people's choice, it was Richard Nixon.

And in his place, an obedient servant of the federal agencies called Gerald Ford took over the White House. How did that happen? Speaker 1: Yeah. So, Pete, I think, you know, we heard from not 1, not 2, but 3, Whistleblowers that said that when it comes to investigations, into the Bidens, the FBI and the Department of Justice were giving preferential treatment and were treatment and were slow walking, aspects of the investigation. And, you know, Christopher Wray's, actions as director here with regard to this FD 10/23, really would seem to support the whistleblower's contentions to that. Look, this this legally, director Wray does not have any, legal basis to not comply with this congressional oversight subpoena. This is a this is not a top secret document.
It's not a secret document. There are no national security concerns here. This is an un classified document. And what Director Wray is now taking the position is, well DOJ won't let us turn it over because we've got Protect sources and methods. Well, there was a time, Pete, where an FBI director could have gotten away with that.
But after the last 6 or 7 years, between Director Comey and Director Wray. A litany of FBI abuses that have primarily gone one way against 1 party. There's no capital, there's no goodwill built up, there's no trust for Director Ray, especially since we heard this before. He said we'd be jeopardizing sources and methods And that it would cause exceptionally grave damage to our national security.

So, you know, this is kinda more of the same, and I I think that director Ray has run out of rope with respect to Republicans. And from a legal standpoint, he's gonna lose this battle. You know, the the FBI is created by Congress, and Congress has a, an oversight role here. There's no legal privilege, there's no Constitutional privilege, and I would expect that, James, Jamie Comer to move forward with this contempt proceeding.

But when he's offered the opportunity To testify under oath, you know, like John Durham did to talk about the litany of abuses that took place in the Durham report. He refused, to cooperate. So even though, John Durham did not subpoena Jim Comey, I hope that House Republicans will because Pete, his testimony from March of 2017 and from December of 2018 is entirely inconsistent, with the Durham report.
And someone, even if he wants to assert a 5th Amendment right against self incrimination, needs to ask him certain questions, under oath. They need to to to, you know, ask him you know, you asked dozens of questions about the Russiagate and Trump Russia collusion, and you never once mentioned the fact that, you were aware and were briefed of the Hillary Clinton intelligence plan, and the fact that you offered $1,000,000 to Christopher Steele, for the to corroborate the Steele dossier and couldn't do that.
