This is one of the darkest, most evil things I’ve witnessed. Monsanto/Bayer pushes for legal immunity because their product gives people cancer. They did it with Agent Orange and are following the same playbook.

This is one of the darkest, most evil and sick things I have ever witnessed. The reason why Monsanto/Bayer is pushing so hard for legal immunity – in states, the Farm Bill, and the executive branch – is simple. Their product gives people cancer. They did it with Agent Orange and they are following the same playbook.

BIG FOOD - your days of poisoning us with ingredients you don't use in other countries is about to end. Which state is brave enough to investigate @kelloggsus and others next? Thank you @KenPaxtonTX for your leadership. https://t.co/Cfqed1rB5L

The attorney general announced an investigation into Kellogg's for advertising their product as healthy while using petroleum crude tar, which requires a warning label in Europe due to concerns that artificial food dyes harm children's brains. There are currently seven million children in the US diagnosed with ADHD. Kellogg's also uses the preservative BHT, which is linked to cancer and endocrine disruption. These ingredients have been removed from Kellogg's products sold in Europe, Canada, Australia, India, and Korea. The demand is for big food companies to serve the healthier versions already produced for other countries. The attorney general in Texas is holding one of the major food companies accountable, with the expectation that many other states will follow suit.

Speaker 0: A huge announcement over the weekend. The attorney general announced a investigation into one of the biggest food companies, Kellogg's, for the fact that they're advertising their product as healthy. However, they're still using this petroleum crude tar that requires a warning label in Europe. Kellogg's found this out fifteen years ago when Europe regulations took place and said, you know what? These artificial food dyes harm children's brains. Now we have seven million children in this country that are being diagnosed with ADHD. We need to look at the root cause analysis of this. Also, there's an ingredient, a preservative that Kellogg's uses BHT that's linked to cancer and endocrine disrupting, properties in a person. And so this is something that should definitely not be labeled as healthy, but also why are these companies including these ingredients that they've already taken out for so many other countries? And it's not just Europe, it's Canada, it's Australia, it's places like India and Korea. So we have to demand that big food serve us the healthier versions that they've already produced for all of these other countries. And now we have the attorney general in Texas holding one of the major food companies accountable. And this is just gonna be the first of many states out there holding these companies accountable, and it's incredible.

Kellogg's is facing backlash for selling different, safer ingredients in other countries while using harmful chemicals in the U.S. A petition has gathered over 450,000 signatures demanding accountability. At a recent Senate round table, it was highlighted that U.S. food regulations are lax compared to Europe, where chemicals must be proven safe before use. The FDA is criticized for not adequately overseeing food safety, allowing companies to introduce potentially harmful ingredients. A national boycott of Kellogg's is underway, urging consumers to demand healthier options. The movement, supported by concerned citizens and activists, aims to protect American health and challenge the current food system.

Speaker 0: They need to stop back stabbing their own American citizens. Agreed. The most un American and anti American policies and it has to stop today. Speaker 1: So, Bonnie, let's start with Kellogg's. You are the one who got a petition signed to hold the company accountable. Speaker 0: Yeah. We gathered over 400,000 signatures. It's actually up to 450,000 signatures now of American voices. People out there that are demanding the same serials Kellogg's already serves to so many other countries, in Canada, all of Europe, Australia, India, and they're not doing here in the United States. It's one of the things that is the most hypocritical, unethical policies of food companies today, where they can sell safer versions of the exact same product to other citizens, but not to their own Americans. Speaker 1: And Bonnie, it's not just Kellogg's. I know you had the opportunity to testify at a senate round table in Washington DC presenting the truth about the food industry to senators and congressional leaders. How did that go? Speaker 0: It was an incredible opportunity because for the first time in history that I know of, we were able to call out these food companies that are enabling this practice of using one set of ingredients here in the United States and another one in other countries. McDonald's French Fries has, you know, 14 ingredients here in the United States, only 3 in the UK, and salt is optional. One of those ingredients is called Dimethyl Polysiloxane. It is an ingredient that has no safety data behind it. It's one of the first ingredients in silly putty. They're actually phasing out this ingredient in breast implants, but it's in our food. It's what you're frying your French fries in at McDonald's and so many other fast food, places as well. And so Americans need to know the truth about what's happened to our food system. Over the last 50 years or so, our American standard diet has been inundated with these chemicals. We have over 10,000 chemicals allowed for use in our food here in the United States, whereas in countries in Europe, there's only 4 100. We are part of a massive experiment on our bodies, and we need to rise up, and we are rising up. And that's what happened last week at Kellogg's when over a 1000 people joined me on the ground, mothers, children, concerned citizens, activists, politicians, and our elected officials, shareholders of Kellogg's. So many different people came to join our cause because we're fed up. We want healthy food in this country. We see what's happening to our children in terms of chronic disease, and we have to stop it. Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Bonnie, I wanna talk to you. I I took my daughters when they got to the age where they were old enough to appreciate Europe, and one of them was journaling. I'm like, Ally, what are you journaling about? And she's like, I'm journaling about the foods here and how they're so different from how it is in America. Why do you think there's stricter regulations in other parts of the world, but we get to have all of these, like, poisonous ingredients in our foods? Speaker 0: Well, the first reason is that the FDA is asleep at the wheel. They've admitted they don't have the capability of actually looking at all of the chemicals that have been introduced to our food supply. The food companies themselves create these chemicals and introduce them, and the FDA just basically rubber stamps it. And that's how it's been inter you know, been allowed for use in America. Whereas in Europe, you have to prove a chemical is safe before you're allowed to introduce it into the food supply. Here, it's the wild, wild west, and we have to stop this. I think our government leaders, our regulatory agencies, everything needs to to to be, you know, frankly, shaken up in in a way that we have to dismantle what has occurred to this point and come up with a new system of regulation to really safeguard Americans. But I'm not waiting around for people in Washington to do this. They haven't been doing it since I've been a food activist. I've had to do this on my own with all of the concerned citizens out there who I call the food babe army, who are out there not only caring about their health, but they're willing to join me at the headquarters of these companies and sign petitions and call the, different places and demand that we have better choices. Right now, there is a national boycott on Kellogg's demanding that nobody purchase Kellogg's anymore until they make these changes. We deserve the same safer ingredients that Kellogg's uses in other countries. They need to stop backstabbing their own American citizens. Agreed. One of the most un American and and anti American policies, and it has to stop today. Speaker 1: I could not agree with you more, Bonnie. With all respect, thank you so much for joining us. I really admire what you're doing.

When we arrived at @KelloggsUS headquarters to deliver over 400,000 petitions, I looked up and couldn’t believe my eyes. Inside the building an employee had written “GET OFF MY LAWN” on his office white board. There were hundreds of moms and children outside on that lawn. They don’t care about Americans, they don’t deserve anyones hard earned dollars - they are poisoning us for profit. #CancelKelloggs
