I received a surefire flashlight for Christmas, and I want to show you how it works. Although you can't see the fog clearly, the flashlight reveals mist particles that are otherwise invisible. It's surprising to see how much detail the light brings out in the environment.

I’m sharing a glimpse of an Amish-built home in Asheville for Helene victims. I’m puzzled why the city/county won’t let victims move in. The home looks fine to me. Why are people sleeping in tents in the snow instead? We need answers!

This is a look inside one of the homes the Amish built in Asheville North Carolina for Helene victims. Tell me why the city / county is not allowing victims to move in here? Does something look wrong with this home to you? Not to me. What’s really going on? Why are they letting people sleep in tents in the snow but not here? We want answers!! 😡

Good evening. In the last 15 to 20 minutes, police have closed roads around Black Lives Matter Plaza near the White House. A live view shows a group of about 100 protesters at H Street and Black Lives Matter Plaza. Authorities are monitoring two groups: one identified as anti-police and the other as pro-Palestinian. The atmosphere has been peaceful, with speaking, cheering, and flag waving, but no conflicts reported with police or others. This scene unfolds as election night approaches, with the battle for the White House ongoing across the country.

Take a live look now from our camera here, high above Black Lives Matter Plaza, and you'll see a group of protesters down there at h Street and Black Lives Matter Plaza. About a 100 or so police tell me that they are tracking 2 separate groups. 1, they describe as an anti police group. The other, they describe as a pro Palestinian group. This has been very peaceful. There's been a lot of speaking and cheering and yelling and flag waving, but no conflicts with police or anyone else. That is the scene that you're looking at right now on Black Lives Matter Plaza where it has been, a fairly peaceful evening, you know, going into, this election night here was with the battle for the White House ray rages on across the country.

BREAKING: Numerous buildings are now being boarded up in Washington DC ahead of the election including the Mcdonalds, Post Office, and several others. Why would they be boarding up buildings? Footage by PenguinSix https://t.co/bDGlZMUZjs

Video Transcript AI Summary
Good morning! Today, we're checking out preparations in DC for potential election violence, as buildings are being boarded up. Starting near the World Bank, I noticed the windows at 1750 G Street and the nearby McDonald's are covered. As we move through Lafayette Park, construction for the inauguration is ongoing, and the area remains calm. I spot the press platform being set up, similar to previous elections. Returning to the post office, I see they’re boarding up the front entrance too. I need to send these photos to my editors quickly. This is a breaking news story, so I’ll upload the video now and grab a sandwich afterward. Stay tuned for more updates later!

Speaker 0: Hey, guys. Good morning. It is Thursday morning. It's a very boring day, but we just got some intel. Intel being the fact that I ate at McDonald's last night with a bunch of other reporters, that several buildings in DC are being prepared for election violence. Yeah. They're boarding up the windows in anticipation of possible disturbances. Now we've seen this before in DC, before big events like, the World Bank annual meeting or, other stuff, but we haven't seen it yet this election cycle, but we're going to go look for it today. Let's go check this out. So right now, I am behind the World Bank headquarters on g Street, and the next block or so gets us pretty close to the White House. Oh, yeah. Okay. We're back in the 1700 block, and look at that 1750 g right next to the White House. The, windows have all been boarded up. This is actually the back entrance to the post office, but they have recently I can smell the plywood. Covered the windows here with, with boards and stuff at 1750 Pennsylvania or 1750 g Street. Okay. 1750 g is a post office. It's next to The Exchange. The Exchange is a sports bar that has a history in DC espionage. Yeah. There were some, Soviet agents or wannabe agents who used to work there taking notes on all the White House personnel that would come down for nefarious purposes. Now down to the left here is the Uniform Division Steakhouse. The Uniform Division Steakhouse is where the Secret Service Uniform Division goes for dinner. Now you and I may know it as McDonald's and it's just up here a bit. Let's go see what the Maccas looks like. This used to be, I think, Bill Clinton's McDonald's. Yeah. The light's changing. Alright? Just chill. So here is the McDonald's next to the White House. And as you can see, the plywood is going up here as well on this building. And the building that runs next to it as well. Building the bushes. You can see putting it up here and there. Okay. Let's make our way out of this area, see what else is going on downtown That's just, this block by the White House But I'm getting reports there might be other places in other parts of town that are boarding up. So let's go see no. Let's go see what we can see. This block is pretty clean still. Alright. Let's go down this way. Okay. We're heading down H Street on the north side of Lafayette Park, which is the park across from the lighthouse. Lafayette Square, whatever you wanna call it. Now oof. Puppy road. Lafayette Square is pretty closed up because of the construction that's going on in here for the inauguration. They're showing you that pretty regularly. But it's on the way to where we're going next. So we'll just cut through here one more time. Oh, one day, I'm gonna clip those bollards. So those fountains have been broken for years. I'm not sure if they're ever gonna fix them. And, also, the cannons that were around Andrew Jackson's statue, they've been missing for years. Oh, we got protesters or kids drawing in charge. Just kids. Alright. And this guy. You're not. What did you These people are just arguing With what? For what? You don't do You don't do it. Throw around. There is the, press platform. It's going up pretty well. That's the one in front of us, and the other side is the inauguration platform for the president. I'll act or actually be the president by the time they get there. So this is still ongoing, and it's the same one they used the last probably 4 elections. Donald Trump used the same viewing stand. Biden didn't really have I mean, I think they sort of stopped construction in the middle of COVID. They decided not to have a parade. Okay. So down this side of town, everything looks pretty chill still. No no new construction, no new hoarding, or kind of boards going up anywhere that I can see. Let's swing around on the South Lawn. This is the where the public tour to the White House is. You talk to your congressman or senators. You can get tickets to go in on the public tour, and that's where you line up. White House Visitor Center is right over there. I don't go in there that often because it's, like, really annoying security for just a building that is a bunch of old museum pieces per chunk. Alright. Trucks that do nothing doing nothing. That's a good sign that nothing's going on. Let's get around these tourists. Over there, it's the pageant of peace. No. That's the Kamala Harris thing coming down. Pageant of peace is the Christmas tree lighting. They haven't started setting up for that, but they are taking down Kamala Harris's thing. All her construction here. We we don't have a Christmas tree. We should get a Christmas tree in the next couple weeks. They should bring 1 in, dig a big hole, and plop it in there. And all got all the leftovers from last night's trick or treat are still on the south lawn. See they still got tents. We got pumpkins lying around. They haven't cleaned it up yet. Leaves still turning color. It's, not true peak color yet, but some of the trees are really pretty, like the red maples. Right way? This is we We should go down to Georgetown, maybe. Maybe we'll get a hamburger down there. I just wonder around. Alright. Let's cut back here on GE. This is, again, the first place we saw boarded up. Back entrance, Post office. I wonder if they boarded up the front entrance. It's a good question. You know, maybe we should slide around the other side. Let's take a look. Trucks parked in the bike lane. Trucks double parked. Yep. There it is. They're boarding up the front side as well. What are you doing? This is the front end of the US post office. And as you can see, I can smell you can see new wood has gone up over all the doors and entrances as we get nearer to the collection. Okay, guys. So here is the glitch. I just texted my editors. They said I got these photos. They're boarding up buildings before the election. And they're like, we need these photos right bloody now. So I'm gonna run home to my big computer. We're gonna clean up the photos and submit them. And then then we're gonna go out and get a sandwich. So food is delayed momentarily while we get these photos up to the agencies and make some money. Alright talk to you in a second. Okay guys as this is kind of a breaking news story I'm gonna put this video up right now. I am gonna go get a sandwich. We are gonna run around the city do other stuff. Maybe I'll have another video later tonight. We'll see. Thanks a lot for watching. See you soon. Bye bye.

FIRST HAND ACCOUNT of resident in North Carolina saying that FEMA condemned their home and said they were taking their property as well as their trailers. WHERE is the news coverage of this. https://t.co/T82SSGpvuU

Video Transcript AI Summary
A person in Old Fort reports that FEMA condemned a house in an area hit badly by flooding. The residents were forced to leave the same day. This person says they are among the last remaining residents in the area, as others were bought out or forced out. Some people's belongings were thrown out. The speaker notes that a family had lived in their home for 14 years before it was condemned. FEMA is also condemning other trailers in the area. While the speaker was told they were "alright," other homes were severely damaged. One elderly woman had to be forcibly removed from her home because she did not want to leave. The speaker emphasizes that these are still people's homes that could potentially be fixed.

Speaker 0: Hey, Mike. Speaker 1: Yeah. What's up, guys? So, I'm out in, this is Old Fort still. So we're on an area that was hit pretty bad. Came out to check on a tree, but it's in the power lines and, you know, this area was underwater. So I got somebody with me who, will leave names and everything out. Yeah. But we got this house here, and she's gonna tell you a little story about it. Speaker 0: Yeah. I know FEMA came over here to this one, and they put them out the same day and said that they couldn't stay there. They was condemning that house, and they're probably about to take it off the, this property right here. They're taking all them trailers down there. Speaker 1: Just got close. Speaker 0: They put everyone out. No one's really here too much as you could tell. Speaker 1: So are you kind of the last one living here? Speaker 0: Yeah. Pretty much. It's, us and, like, 2 other people that's still staying down here, but everybody else, they came down here. They looked and they sold them. They had to get out. They put all their stuff out. So a couple people came and actually just was throwing their stuff out. Speaker 1: Oh, they just were, yeah, throwing it out. Speaker 0: Throwing them out. And Speaker 1: So these people have been here 14 years. Speaker 0: 14 years. Speaker 1: And they condemned their home. Speaker 0: They condemned their home. Speaker 1: And they can no longer live here. Speaker 0: No longer live there. Speaker 1: Yeah. And then they're doing that to all the rest of these trailers. That that nice there's some nice trailer down there. Yes. Like, that's kinda higher. Speaker 0: Yeah. Them right there, I think they're fine, but all the other ones with all this stuff sitting out, they have to go. Speaker 1: Wow. And they didn't tell y'all that y'all had to leave? No. Speaker 0: They said I was alright. So this is the only one that's still here. Speaker 1: And you're right up in the front. So Yep. And you said you kinda had it? Speaker 0: Yeah. It it went too bad in in hours, but I don't know how I hit all these other ones. We had to tear all that stuff off the ground and, let them dry out and stuff. Speaker 1: So this is all condemned in here? Speaker 0: Yeah. I think they're, I'm not sure what they're doing with that one. Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, they gutted all the drywall and all the I hate to be invasive here, but people need to see. Yeah. They tore the drywall out and all of that. That's Yeah. So they're condemning a lot of areas. Mhmm. Now the people who are saying that this is not happening Speaker 0: It's happening. Speaker 1: It's definitely happening, and I wanted you to see a firsthand story. I mean, yes, That they're they look to be in bad shape, but, you know Still people's homes. They're still people's homes, and they could still be fixed. You know? Like the Speaker 0: older woman out of here? She's, like, 80. And, they had to actually get the fire people down here to get her out of the house because she did not wanna leave the house. Speaker 1: Oh, and she didn't wanna leave. Oh, they didn't Surprising that you wouldn't wanna leave your house that you've lived in. Years. Yeah. Where you thought you might retire and or die at. You know? Yeah. Well, that's what we got for you. I appreciate the story. Thank you a bunch. Speaker 0: No problem.

‘You can’t handle the truth!’ I’ve spent the last several days investigating $GME Bottom line: Our entire financial system is fraud This is ‘GameStop: Exposing The Fraud’ Second comment to this post has more details. #ExposingGME $AMC $BBBY $NOK $OSTK #stockmarket https://t.co/rAo60ywBuu

Video Transcript AI Summary
The video discusses the GameStop saga, market liquidity, short selling, and potential manipulation by retail investors. Credit Suisse's bankruptcy and Trump Media's claims of illegal short selling are highlighted. Recommendations to protect retail investors are given, and a deeper dive into short selling is teased for a future video. The speaker emphasizes the need for transparency and reform in the financial system.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: The saga began in 2021 and it has never reached resolution. However, retail investors are beginning to catch on to the fact that the financial system is completely broken. In 2021, Credit Suisse purchased a total of 540,000 put contracts on GameStop. Ironically, they glitched and never appeared in the system again. Speaker 1: We're not internalizing all these orders. It costs us tens and tens of 1,000,000 of 100 of 1,000,000 of dollars to source price improve liquidity on exchanges and provide that back Speaker 2: to our clients. You've said for years is you do provide price improvement. You you do actually help improve. You get a better price for it. Can you explain briefly how you do that? Because Chair Gensler has been very skeptical about that. Speaker 1: Well, I'm not sure he's Speaker 2: been so skeptical about it. Speaker 1: I think some of the data and he he spoke about it today, the need for reform of rule 605. So essentially, the rule is antiquated. It doesn't really cover the amount of what we call size improvement, and we've been very upfront and very transparent about providing that level of data. So what that means is in the 8,000 names, to the extent there's not liquidity on a on a lit exchange, fundamentally, the wholesalers are providing infinite liquidity at the NBBO or the inside price. So if we get an order for a 1,000 shares in Reg NMS stock that no one's ever heard of, and there's 200 shares on Nasdaq in New York, we fill out a 1,000 shares at that inside price. Speaker 0: Did he just say infinite liquidity? How is it possible to give institutional investors the ability to have infinite liquidity? Why are so many individuals naked shorting stocks? Not only GameStop, but others, which include an ongoing list such as AMC, BlackBerry, Nokia, and others who were literally driven to bankruptcy. Speaker 1: That's meaningful liquidity. 55% of the orders that we received, Bob, we provide size improvement. In a complete, you know, as he calls it, an auction environment. Who's going to provide that? The the liquidity fairy? I mean, it just doesn't exist. Speaker 2: This is a very complicated proposal. There's not really a rule that's being proposed. Sher Gil is floating this idea, and there's the implication is maybe in a few months, we'll make a rule proposal. Do you think think anything is going to happen here? Do you think there's actually gonna be a rule proposed or are we just gonna try to get more transparency, more information? My Gensler may have to settle for you providing more information on exactly how much it costs for payment for order flow. Speaker 1: We're all about that. I mean, whatever the rule is in terms of providing transparency around how much payment for order flow, price improvement, set it at the midpoint, we're all ears. We've made those proposals. It's a little bit like punching a ghost right now. Right? Because they they have these high level statements that aren't really backed backed by any data. Right? We've provided real data about what we do. We welcome the opportunity. We would welcome a round table. I don't know why the chair is not willing to engage the industry directly on this. I'd be happy to come with him on this program. Speaker 2: And you're saying he hasn't talked to you? You're you're one of the biggest market makers in the United States. Are you saying he hasn't talked Speaker 3: to you? Speaker 1: I have spoken to the chair. I would like some more time with him. And I think, you know, him coming to the industry and coming to Vertu and understanding what we do and how ultimately how competitive the marketplace is. He talks about 2 or 3 wholesalers. There's about 10 of us now. UBS is involved. James, Jane Street, Jump Trading, Hudson River Trading, Susquehanna, 2 Sigma. Anybody else can enter this marketplace. There's not a barrier to entry. There's not like an admission ticket that you need. Right? It's a competitive marketplace. Every day, we're banging heads with Citadel Securities to provide the best service and the best price to 250 clients. And some days we lose, and some days we win. Speaker 3: When I was at the Harvard Law School, we seldom traded a1000000 shares on a day, now we trade 1,000,000,000. We don't need the stock market that liquid. What we're getting is wretched access and danger for the country, and everybody loves it because it's like a bunch of people get drunk at a party. They're having so much fun getting drunk that they don't think about the consequences. We don't need this wretched excess. It has bad consequences. You can argue that that the wretched excesses of the twenties gave us the great depression, and Speaker 4: the great depression gave us Hitler. Speaker 3: This is serious stuff. You you you you should but it's awfully hard. A lot of people like a a drunken brawl, and and Speaker 4: so far, those are the people that Speaker 3: are winning. And a lot of people are making money out of our brawl. Speaker 0: Credit Suisse declared bankruptcy and ultimately was purchased by UBSAG. Interestingly enough, the Swiss government sealed the records of Credit Suisse for 50 years. What did they want people to not know? What could be hidden that they did not want exposed? It's time to return the power to the players. Donald Trump's team has brought this before congress with claims that its own stock is also being illegally shorted. Speaker 5: Well, Trump media's leadership claimed that the company is being targeted by illegal short sellers hoping to drive down the price of shares. In a letter released on Friday, Trump Media CEO, Devin Nunez, told the president of the Nasdaq, quote, brokers have a significant financial incentive to lend nonexistent shares, end quote. Well, he believes at least some short sellers are betting shares will go down in price without owning or borrowing them, which can be illegal. Now in an interview with Newsmax, Nunez said the company, quote, will do whatever it takes to defend our retail investors, even if that includes going to the federal government for enforcement. Speaker 0: Their recommendation is to DRS the shares an individual owns. This can be done by transferring to direct registration electronically by contacting a stock broker and instructing the broker to initiate the transfer. Speaker 4: Manipulation by this roaring kitty and retail investors, somehow they're taking advantage of Wall Street. You know, I think the whole thing is really amazing, you know, that Wall Street and the financial media would even have the gall to to to be upset that someone posted their trade to make that a a crime. Speaker 0: What you are watching is the greatest show on Earth. And as Elon Musk said, the most entertaining outcome, as if we were in a movie, is the most likely. If you enjoyed this content, please subscribe to me as I will be putting together part 2, naked money, where we take a much deeper dive into short selling, the countries that have currently banned it, and what the future of the system may look Speaker 1: like.
