1. Get Twitter Blue As a Twitter Blue subscriber, you get a whopping 4x algorithm to boost when you engage with tweets from those in your network. If the person you're engaging with isn't in your network, you still get a 2x boost. My advice: Get Twitter Blue.

2. Maintain A High Follower-Following Ratio Don't follow too many people. Twitter calculates your ratio of followings to followers and reduces your rank if it's too high. Keep your following count low and hence your rank high.

3. Keep your `Tweepcred` high Get your tweets featured by boosting your Tweepcred score. It's based on your interactions, account age, followers, and device usage. Aim for healthy engagement to keep it high and watch out for spam, blocks, and mutes that can bring it down.

4. Niche down and become a trusted voice in one niche. Get noticed within your niche by engaging with the right accounts. Out-of-network replies can hurt your visibility, so focus on building connections with prominent accounts in your community first.

5. Engage the most in your tweets in the first 6 hours. A Tweet's relevancy score will decrease by 50% every 6 hours. Older Tweets become less relevant over time. Engaging and replying to comments during this time will work in your favor.

6. Add images & videos. In the current ranking model, tweets with images & videos get a 2x boost. So use images or videos more.

7. Be less controversial Keep your Twitter reputation score high by avoiding negative feedback loops. Being blocked, muted, or reported for abuse or spam, and losing followers can tank your Tweepscore.

8. Create a reason for people to engage Once you're ranked in a user's feed, the likelihood of being seen depends on factors like time spent on the tweet, profile visits, and replies. Create content that encourages users to take action and engage with your tweet.

9. Reply to every reply on your account Boost your tweet's score by engaging with replies. If someone liking your tweet gives that tweet 1 point, your engaging with someone’s reply to your tweet gives you 150 points. So have more conversations.

10. Don’t add links unless you know it’s going to get engagement Avoid being marked as spam by limiting external links in your tweets. Posting only URLs can drastically reduce your rank unless your tweet gets high engagement in the first few hours.

1. X doesn't want to show duplicate conversations on the feed. So when you reply AND retweet, your reply will be given priority to be shown in other's feeds. Replies > Retweet

2. X wants more creators to launch subscriptions. So if you are eligible to become a "subscriber content creator," they'll push your content. Switch your account to creator type just in case.

3. X now categorizes text-only and image posts differently. Image tweets get boosted. So use more media in your posts and threads. 3-4 images can boost your reach.

4. Tweets with video content (long form, short form, and GIFs) get boosted. This is a good time to try short/long videos on X.

5. Likes and retweets aren't needed to reach the masses if you do this. Hack the algo by talking about trending & popular topics. X is pushing this in the "For You" tab.

6. Tweets mentioning competitors and out-of-network URLs will get deboosted. So avoid mentioning competitors (no links to YT videos or IG reels). Using links to other tweets won't hurt.

7. There are now two categories of duration for tweets. Default - 24 hours. Expanded - 48 hours. If your post does well in the first 24 hours, it'll be put in the expanded duration and reach a wider audience over time.

8. Author replies have DOUBLE the weightage of normal replies in scoring models. So replying to comments on your tweet can boost reach. Keep your followers engaged in the comments!

9. Earlier, posts would be pushed to new audiences even if your followers didn't like them first. But X is getting strict. If you have a large audience (10K+), you've got to create such content that your followers like/engage with it Or it won't reach new audiences.

What's boosted (do more of this) - Replies & engagement - Bookmark-worthy posts - Posts on trending & popular topics - Rich media (images, videos, GIFs) content - Well-performing tweets stay longer on the feed (48 hours) - Subscription-eligible creators get a boost

What's deboosted (do less of this) - Out-of-network content like competitors mention, URLs - Content that doesn't resonate with your current followers - Retweets on posts you've also commented on

What this means for creators - Post more interactive media (videos, images, GIFs.) Only text posts are not enough now. - X is pushing conversations so reply more. But don't fake it. Authenticity is key. - Launch a subscription tier for a boost in reach.
