An armored vehicle is at a property behind Jabar's home on Crescent Pink Drive. A man was taken into custody earlier, appearing to cooperate with SWAT commands as he walked backward with his hands up. His identity and connection to Jabar are still unknown. SWAT also evacuated adults and children from a nearby property for safety. The FBI has established a perimeter around the home, investigating it in connection with the New Orleans attack. The scene remains active, with first responders present. Residents in the area are being asked to stay away, and it may take hours for the situation to resolve. Updates will continue to be provided.

Speaker 0: Out here, they have their armored vehicle. This is a property behind, Jabar's home here off, Crescent Pink Drive and Hue Road. Now they still have this area blocked off, but we did our drone video did capture a man being taken into custody earlier about a couple of hours ago. Take a look at this video. You can see a man standing outside the home with his hands up. There is SWAT outside the home as well giving him commands. He does appear to be cooperating and doing as they ask. He eventually walks backwards towards the truck with his hands up, and they ultimately take him into custody and put him in handcuffs. Now at this time, we don't know who this man is. We are working to figure that out. It's unclear what his connection is to Jabar. We just know that he's at his house, but they clearly need to talk to him about something. So we will continue following that as well. But before that, we also saw SWAT. We have some video here as well showing, SWAT bringing out some adults and children from a property behind the home. They were likely moving them to safety. They moved into a command post right next to this scene, to make sure that they're okay, because this is a very active scene. We know FBI has a perimeter surrounding the home, collecting as much evidence as possible. And like I mentioned, we've been out here all day. We've been out here since before noon. And when we first got here, no one was here. We didn't see any police or FBI, but about an hour later, we saw some undercover detectives showing up and telling us to move out because they had to, put a perimeter around that house, and they didn't give us much information as as why. But later, we did figure out from FBI that they are, investigating this home, and this is in connection to the New Orleans attack. So we are continuing monitoring this situation here on the ground. We've been getting updates minute by minute. We haven't had any updates since we saw that man being taken into custody. But, again, it is still an active scene out here. Lots of SWAT, lots of first responders and crews making sure that this area is safe. Now if you live in this neighborhood, you can't get to your home right now. They're still asking people to stay away. It's unclear how long this was take. The FBI says it could take hours, but we, of course, will keep you updated.

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ#BREAKING | UPDATE THE FBI AND FAA ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE DRONES FLYING NEAR MORRIS TOWN REGIONAL AIRPORT AND PARTS OF NEW JERSEY LAST NIGHT. TWO WEEKS AGO THEY HAD BLACK HAWK HELICOPTERS FOLLOWING THE DRONES BUT THEY ARE BACK IF YOU SEE THEM CALL THE POLICE. https://t.co/hgtAm8L8Q4

Video Transcript AI Summary
Groups of drones have been spotted flying over Northern New Jersey at night for at least two weeks. One resident reports seeing as many as eight drones at once, with some being the size of a car. The FBI is investigating the sightings but has not released specific information. Have you noticed any unusual drone activity in your area?

Speaker 0: For weeks. I don't even think the size of our RV. This is great. Great chance. There's a third. This is insane. Groups of drones have been spotted flying over parts of Northern New Jersey at night. And from what we can tell, it's been going on for at least 2 weeks. One resident says he's seen the drones almost daily, sometimes as many as 8 at a time. He estimated the larger drones to be the size of a car. The FBI has confirmed they're looking into it, but say they don't have any specifics to share as of Monday morning. Have you seen groups of mysterious drones in your air?
Video Transcript AI Summary
Mysterious drones have been spotted flying low in New Jersey, causing concern among residents who report sleepless nights due to their presence. Eyewitnesses describe the drones as large and possibly not homemade. Local law enforcement, including the FBI, is investigating the situation, as the airspace is under federal jurisdiction. They are seeking tips from the public to determine the drones' origin and purpose, especially since there are military sites nearby. While there have been reports of unidentified aerial phenomena across the country, officials stress there is currently no indication that these drones pose a threat to the public. The situation remains unclear, with no specific leads on who might be operating them.

Speaker 0: So that that's it. It looks like it's flying pretty low. And from that perspective, it looks very large. Right? And all those lights in the sky that you see there, see those lights? Those are apparently drones as well, they say, seeming to fly in a v formation, but the whole saga stressing people out nearby. Speaker 1: We're all completely unnerved. I didn't sleep last night. When I would get up and look out my window at 2 AM, 4 AM, they were still hovering. I got up at 5:30 this morning, and they were still there. As the sun was starting to rise, they went back in the same direction they came from. And I thought they'll be back as soon as the sun goes down tonight. Speaker 0: Let's try and tell him what to What what's happened with the mysterious drones, Tom? Speaker 2: Right, Ally. Well, not to go all Scully and Mulder on us here. Speaker 0: Do it. Speaker 2: Law enforcement is concerned about this. They they have put out a state at the local sheriff's office, the local prosecutor's office in Morris County. So Morris County, New Jersey, pretty much the kind of the center of where this activity has been occurring along with Somerset County. So they're about an hour ish west of here. Don't throw things at your screen. I know that it could be double that amount of time given traffic, but just to give a folks a sense of where we are referring to to New York City. As far as the size of them, multiple eyewitnesses have reported it. Obviously, we've seen the video here. You've just pointed it out. The size of these, it's not quite clear to law enforcement that they are car sized at this point, but they do not appear to be kind of the homemade type that would fit on a desk. Whether or not they're the kind that would fit in a garage, well, that's gonna be a bigger question. They really want the evidence here, Hallie. They wanna be able to get their hands on this or know where they are flying from in an effort to try to figure out, okay, who's doing this? What are they about? And what are they specifically looking at? But officials in New Jersey stress, look, there's no indication at this point that they're a threat to the public. We certainly like to know what's going on, and they are encouraging people to call these in. Speaker 0: Why would the FBI be getting involved in this here? Speaker 2: A great question. So the airspace is the FBI's domain. So when the FAA sees something that is a potential violation of federal law as it pertains to the skies, that's a time where the FBI would get involved. And certainly, if we're talking about multiple counties and we're talking about something that, could have come from outside of New Jersey, but perhaps from Pennsylvania, perhaps from New York State or the water, they wanna have the ability to kind of expand this investigation. And I spoke to them just before, speaking with you tonight, and they are looking for people to give them some tips and to kinda coordinate the response to this. Also figure out what are they actually looking at. There are a couple of military sites in the area, but it's not clear yet that that's the necessarily the focus of what these drones are about, but they're definitely keeping an eye on the situation. You know, there've been a number of reports of these, unidentified aerial phenomena, Halley, across the country and on the West Coast. So then, you know, Big Island is concerned about this. Speaker 0: We really don't have any clues because right now it feels like this is so bizarre. The TLDR is like large drones fly over towns all night in the middle of the night and nobody knows where they're from. Like, that's really we really don't have any little, like, signals. Maybe it's so and so or whatever company or something. Speaker 2: I am not holding anything back from you. Nobody's whispering. I am promising you. And by the way, the Morris County Airport that's closest to all of us, close to Bedminster, New Jersey, where Donald Trump's golf course is, where he is often. You know, Halley, from experience covering the Trump administration, that they are certainly aware of potential aerial threats. This is an important airport. It's close to New York City. So it's not as if they're watching these drones kind of fly off into the night and just saying, oh, well, maybe we'll call somebody someday. This area is familiar with it, didn't you? Thanks for watching.

Drones have been spotted across Morris County, prompting police to alert residents. They advised not to approach any drones that crash or land. The FBI is collaborating with local law enforcement to investigate but lacks further information. Residents are increasingly concerned about the situation. Nancy Reed, who prefers to remain anonymous, reports seeing drones nightly since November 18, typically between 7:30 and 10:30 PM, but never during the day. She notes a significant decrease in normal air traffic to and from Morristown Airport and Newark, which she finds puzzling.

Speaker 0: It has the video to prove it. Speaker 1: They kinda go slow. They come towards you, then they'll change direction a little. They're they're all going different ways. Speaker 0: The drones have been spotted all over Morris County. Morris Town police sent an alert to residents Sunday saying they are aware of drone activity and that if the drone crashes or lands, do not approach or handle it. The FBI's Newark field office would only say it is working with other law enforcement agencies to figure out what's going on, but at the the moment doesn't have enough information to share. Speaker 1: A lot of people wanna know what's going on. I think more people are coming around to that. Oh, this is going on and maybe it's not good. Speaker 0: Nancy Reed didn't want to show her face on camera, but says she's seen the drones every night since November 18th. Speaker 2: I can see them right out in the bedroom window. I can watch them. Last night was about 5:30, so it was earlier. But it's normally between anywhere between, like, 7:30 and 10, 10:30 they're out here. Never during the day. Nobody ever sees them during the day. Speaker 0: One thing she hasn't seen is the normal air traffic she's used to, and she doesn't understand why. Speaker 2: We're in, like, a fly pattern going to, like, Morristown Airport in Newark, and we used to see a lot of planes coming back and forth. You You don't see them Speaker 1: anymore.
