Translation of what this traumatised young man who escaped from Al Shifa Hospital is saying: They (IOF) stripped us off our clothes & tied our hands. They left us standing for 2 hrs before taking us inside Al Shifa. They left us inside for another hour. 1/ https://t.co/H18bykJbJv

Israeli courts sentenced 16-year-old Nofouz Hammad from Sheikh Jarrah to 12 years in prison. She was arrested from her school on Dec 8, 2021, making her the youngest female prisoner. Despite her age, she faced harsh interrogation and was denied legal guardians. The sentence, deemed unjust, violates the 4th Geneva Convention. This case echoes the story of Ahmad Manasra, a 13-year-old who was left bleeding in the streets of Jerusalem. Israeli courts' actions raise concerns about their future existence.

‼️ Illegitimate “Israeli” courts sentenced Nofouz Hammad, 16 years old, from the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in occupied Jerusalem, to 12 YEARS in prison. She was arrested on December 8, 2021, from her school. Nofouz is the youngest female prisoner in the Occupation prisons. https://t.co/sdAtmkCGuQ

Bold of “Israeli” courts to think they’ll exist in 12 years.

Many asking what a girl who was arrested from her school at 14 after she’d been protesting against the ethnic cleansing of Sheikh Jarrah did to be sentenced. Bc the dehumanistion of Palestinians & excessive “Israel” apology means you’re not shocked by the mere news.

She was arrested inside her school on December 12, 2021, at the age of 14, & was subjected to harsh interrogation, involving beatings, insults, & humiliation without consideration of her age (of course). As a minor, not even her legal guardians were allowed to be present.

She denied all charges but the illegitimate court issued a sentence that was described as harsh & unjust by her lawyers. 12 years in prison. Under the 4th Geneva Convention, the occupying power cannot imprison individuals from the occupied territory — but “Israel” doesn’t count.

For those unfamiliar with “Israel” & Palestinian youth: read Ahmad Manasra’s story.

Ahmad was left to bleed for an hour in the streets of Jerusalem before an ambulance arrived. He bled as a Zionist settler took a video of him bathing in his own blood. The settler shouted at him & wished him death. Ahmad was 13 years old.
