My message to everyone is this. It does not matter whether you agree with @hussedogru or not, whether you like or not his journalism. What matters is that what the EU did to him they can easily do to you. Friends, beware. Your right to personhood has just been rescinded!

URGENT: As of now, I have ZERO access to any money. I can’t provide food for my family, incl. 2 newborns, due to EU sanctions. Previously, I was granted access to €506 to survive which is now also inaccessible. My bank blocked it. The EU de facto sanctioned my children too. @ClareDalyIRL@yanisvaroufakis@DiEM_25@Miquel_R@DropSiteNews@SevimDagdelen@mkhalili@LaBase_TV@PabloIglesias@newscord_org@FWarweg@jungewelt@FuocoSavinelli@AlanRMacLeod@MintPressNews@wallacemick@amnesty_de@amnesty@IJFMedia@IFJGlobal@Fidias0@Wikipedia@JulianAssange_@Stella_Assange@FabioDeMasi@johnnyjmils@goldi@afshinrattansi@CPJ_Eurasia@fehimtastekin@georgegalloway@Mondoweiss@FranceskAlbs@hahauenstein @MiddleEastEye @TheCradleMedia @ASE @elsclegal @BSWbund @dieLinke @der_neukoellner @TaylorLorenz @euobs@candundaradasi@_sophiamaier@WittStahl @Irenekhan @irezugasti

We found eight burned babies in this corner, among other people burned in the house. A baby was beheaded. We cannot use the same democratic tools that the world uses, nor the human rights that you think of. Right now, there is no place for feeling. We need to clear this region, not only the perimeter around the Kibbutz, from this kind of threat in Gaza.

We needed any anything to to convince us. We cannot use the same democratic tools that the world use. It's not the human rights that you in your mind think of. Right now, there is no place for feeling. The example of what we're facing right now in Gaza, and this is exactly the reason that we need to clear this region, not only the perimeter around the Kibbutz. All all this region, we must clear from this kind of threat.

Israel bans the importation into Gaza of anaesthetics. Hence, the scores of children who are amputated daily, following Israel's bombings, are put to the knife without anaesthesia - if they are lucky to be taken to a functioning medical facility and not be bombed when in it. https://t.co/3YLZ7NoMbU

Gaia, an anti-zionist activist from Haifa, has been repetedly harrased by police. Listen to her share the resent police silencing of her and others following their plan to screen a movie about the events in Gaza https://t.co/wfUPRVQWgP

Video Transcript AI Summary
I'm 24 years old from Haifa and an anti-Zionist activist. On November 3, there was a planned screening of "Gaza Fight for Freedom." Days before, police collaborated with a fascist group to harass one of the event's spokespeople after her number was leaked. On November 2, police raided my parents' house looking for me. They continued to threaten and harass me and my family, claiming I was brainwashed and in danger, without acknowledging that the real danger came from them. This illustrates the lies Israel tells about being a democracy. Israel is committing genocide and ethnic cleansing, and any act of resistance, no matter how small, is met with oppression. I urge you to continue fighting for the Palestinian people, Gaza, and against the crimes committed by Israel and its allies in the Middle East.

Speaker 0: My name is. I'm 24 years old from Haifa. I'm an anti Zionist activist. And on 3rd November, there was supposed to be a public screening of the movie Gaza fight for freedom about Brit Marshall return in 2018 in Gaza. Few days before the planned screening, screening, the police collaborating with a fascist organization began to harass one of the spokespeople of the event after her phone number was leaked. After that, on the 2nd November, one day before the planned screening, the police raided my parents house trying to find me and arrest me. After that, for a couple of days, they didn't stop to threat and harass me, my parents, and the spokespeople that were supposed to be in the event. The police told my parents that I'm brainwashed, that the secret service is after me, that I'm ruining my life, that I'm in danger without actually clarifying that the only danger that I'm facing is from the police and the collaborators themselves. Telling you all of this to show you the lies Israel tried to tell the world. Israel is not a democracy. Israel is committing a genocide and Israel is not a democracy. Israel is committing a genocide and ethnic cleansing, and every small act of resistance against it, no no matter if it's a protest or even a movie screening, is being repeatedly oppressed by the state. So I'm asking you, please don't stop fighting for the Palestinian people, for Gaza, and against the crime Israel and its allies committing in the Middle East.

Germany did not just stop the Rector of the University of Glasgow Dr @GhassanAbuSitt1 from entering Germany, to participate in our Palestine Congress, but threatened him with legal action if he dared send his intended speech by video. Question to German friends: In your name? https://t.co/d0Xk02ppVq

Dr. Hassan Abusita was barred from entering Germany to speak at a conference on Palestine. He was questioned for 3.5 hours, had his passport confiscated, and was told to leave the country. He believes Germany is complicit in silencing witnesses of the genocide in Gaza. Abusita emphasizes the importance of speaking out against atrocities to uphold humanity. The crackdown on free speech in this case sets a dangerous precedent for the future.

Speaker 0: My name is doctor Hassan Abusita. I've just returned from Germany where I had been prevented from entering the country for attending a conference in Germany to give evidence on the war in Gaze and my witness statement, as a doctor working in its hospitals. So this morning at 10 o'clock, I landed in Berlin to attend a conference on Palestine where I had been asked, along with many, others in the UK, in the United States, and in Europe to give my evidence of the 43 days that I had seen in the hospitals in Gaza, working in both Shifa and Al Ali Hospital. Upon, arrival, I was stopped at the passport office. I was then escorted down to the basement of the airport where I was questioned for around 3 and a half hours. At the end of 3 and a half hours, I was told that I will not be allowed to enter German soil, that I will and that this ban will last the whole of April. And not just that, that if I were to try to set to link up by Zoom, or FaceTime with the conference, even if I was outside Germany or I were to send a video of my lecture to the conference asked at the end to book a flight back to, the UK. My passport was taken away from me, and then I only got my passport back as I was, boarding the plane. As Germany is defending itself against the Nicaraguan charges that it is an accomplice, to the genocidal war as described by the International Court of Justice. This is exactly what accomplices to a crime do. They bury the evidence and they silence or harass or intimidate, the witnesses. And so as members of a gang that has committed a heinous crime. Germany is doing its bit in that crime, which is to ensure that there is complete impunity and so that the genocide can continue uninterrupted. So, the Jewish intellectual Hannah Arendt, in the first lecture that she gave in Germany in 1958 after the 2nd World War, she said we humanize what is going on in the world and in ourselves by speaking of it, and in the course of speaking of it, we learn to be human. There is so much peril before us. To speak of it in earnest, to understand the causes and the alternative is to practice our humanity. And this crackdown on free speech is a dangerous precedent because what is happening in Gaza is a dangerous precedent. We are watching the first genocide unfold in the 20 1st century. And for Germany to become implicated as an accomplice in silencing the witnesses of this genocide, bow does not bode well for the rest of the century.

I was cancelled in Vienna where I was supposed to deliver a lecture. The organizers were afraid of hosting me due to my opposition to Israel's Apartheid/Occupation. They suggested postponing the lecture until my new book is out. When I refused, they cited the "geopolitical situation." Civilized Europe recoils at principled opposition to Israel's Apartheid and covers up its cowardice in lies.

Good & bad news for those who want to cancel me for my opposition to Israel's Apartheid/Occupation: The good news is that I was cancelled in Vienna where, on Monday, I was to deliver the 2023 Otto Wagner 2023 Lecture, organised by IKA Institute for Art and Architecture (even though I had no intention to refer to the situation in Israel/Gaza). https://e-flux.com/announcements/560460/yanis-varoufakis/ The bad news, for you good people who want me cancelled, is that the organisers lacked the guts to admit that they were terrified of hosting me because of my opposition to Israel's Apartheid/Occupation. They suggested that we all pretend the lecture was postponed until my new book is out in German. When I refused to participate in that lie, they cited "the current dramatically escalating, geopolitical situation"! The gist of it? Civilised Middle Europe recoils in horror when faced with a principled opposition to Israel's Apartheid. And then, immediately afterwards, covers up its cowardice in lies.
