The Amish maintain a remarkably low obesity rate of 4%, living healthier and longer without modern diets or gym routines. Their lifestyle emphasizes constant movement, consuming whole foods directly from nature, and practicing traditional food preparation methods. They prioritize gut health through fermentation, eat their largest meal at midday, and avoid screens for better sleep. With minimal toxin exposure, rare use of alcohol and tobacco, and a strong sense of community, they embody a simple yet effective approach to health: move often, eat real food, and live with purpose.

1. Movement isn’t optional. It’s life. Amish men average 18,425 steps/day. Women: 14,196. The average American is under 5,000. They don’t “work out.” They live out physicality. 100 steps before breakfast. Dough kneading = upper body training. Never sit longer than 20 min. https://t.co/qLp2KQgCmQ

I believe many dentists overlook critical aspects of oral health. Fluoride toothpaste and mouthwash can harm hormones and brain function, and I question whether this is a conspiracy or just negligence. Our oral health impacts overall well-being, linking poor oral biome to various health issues. I recommend a six-step protocol: switch to nasal breathing, tongue scrape daily, ditch fluoride toothpaste, use a boar bristle toothbrush, avoid commercial mouthwash, and consume bone broth and fermented foods. Since following this, I've seen significant improvements in my health.

Most dentists are a joke. Fluoride toothpaste and Listerine mouthwash? They destroy your testosterone, gut, and brain function. Here's everything you need to know about oral health (and how to naturally fix yours):🧵 https://t.co/TfrLl8gRDi

First, the fluoride in your toothpaste is quietly destroying your hormones. Fluoride doesn't just "protect" your teeth… It's a proven neurotoxin that lowers your IQ and tanks your testosterone. Is this a conspiracy to make men weak and docile? Or just corporate incompetence?

As of May 7, 2025, Utah is expected to ban fluoride from its water systems. This decision follows twenty years of diminishing fluoride amounts based on studies. These studies allegedly show that fluoride is dropping IQ, affecting children's brains, causing neurodegenerative and hormone problems, and impacting bones in boys. Fluoride, in certain doses, may cause fluorosis, which is molting and discoloration of the teeth. The speaker has always been against fluoride in water supplies at government-mandated levels, arguing it should be a choice. Reverse osmosis is required to remove fluoride from water.

It looks like as of 05/07/2025, we're going to be the state to completely ban fluoride from the water systems. Look, over the last twenty years, they keep diminishing the amounts based on more and more studies. Studies that show that it's dropping IQ, affecting the brain of our children, causing neurodegenerative problems, hormone problems, bone in boys. So, a lot of links to fluoride problems. In long term, in certain doses, it even causes something called fluorosis, which is molting of the teeth. You get a discoloration in the teeth. Look, I've always been against fluoride. So, natural occurring fluoride can happen in water, but the levels that we're putting it in, in the water supply, yeah, that should be a choice, not something that is put upon us by our government. We're coming to an end on this. So, just check your water supply. You need reverse osmosis to get the fluoride out if it's in your water.

There is no debate that mouth breathing is injurious, but 25-50% of the population habitually breathe through their mouths, unaware of the neurological, respiratory, snoring, sleep apnea, and metabolic problems it causes. The chief of rhinology research at Stanford believes the nose is an amazing organ that is understudied; he considers it "criminal" that the NIH has no school for studying the nose and its effects. Mouth breathing can quickly cause damage; after years, it can change the structure of your face, resulting in a condition called adenoid face in kids. Mouth breathing changes the musculature and skeleton, creating a longer face, making people more apt to snoring and sleep apnea.

Speaker 0: And there's so much science supporting how injurious it is to constantly be breathing through your mouth. There's there's no debate about that. But what people don't realize is about twenty five to fifty percent of the population habitually breathe through their mouths. They don't realize the neurological problems that this causes, the respiratory problems this causes, problems with snoring, sleep apnea, even metabolic disorders. I mean, it goes on and on and on. So I had been talking to the chief of rhinology research at Stanford. We'd done many interviews over a series of months. He's a big nose guy. So he said, this is the most amazing organ. No one's talking about it. At the NIH, there's no school for studying the nose and its effects, and he thought that that was criminal. So he had warned me how bad mouth breathing was, but no one knew how quickly that damage came on. So, we we knew that after years, it can change the structure of your face. It's so common in kids that it has a term called adenoid face. You see these kids with very long faces because they've been mouth breathing so long that their faces have actually, the the musculature and the has have changed. It changes your skeleton. Yeah. Yeah. It it it makes it creates a longer face. So and that that also makes these people much more apt to snoring and sleep apnea.

1. Switch to exclusively nasal breathing (fix your kyphosis or neck hump). When you mouth breathe, you're bypassing your body's natural filtration system and drying out your oral cavity. This creates the perfect environment for harmful bacteria to thrive. https://t.co/eFjaXcYtgs

Upon removing the earplugs, his blood pressure returned to normal within hours, and he felt better.

Within the day or so, his blood pressure had gone up x amount of points. His sleep was impacted. And then I think he said, you know, something like 30% of the American population are breathing like this all the time. When he took those earplugs out of his nose, within a matter of hours, his blood pressure started to come back down again and started to feel more himself.

2. Tongue scrape every single morning That white coating you see on your tongue is actually a biofilm of bacteria, toxins, and dead cells. Scrape it off first thing every morning with a copper tongue scraper. Don't swallow that poison back into your system. https://t.co/8ap4qsrbJS

Tongue scraping removes dead skin and bacteria from the tongue's surface, but not everyone needs it. A thick white coating on the tongue indicates it's beneficial, especially upon waking and before bed. However, if there's no thick coating or bad breath, daily tongue scraping may not be necessary.

Speaker 0: Does everybody need to tongue scrape? Tongue scraping allows you to remove the thick coating of dead skin and bacteria that's on the top surface of your tongue. But not everybody has that thick coating of bacteria. Some people are more prone to this condition than others. Generally, if you stick your tongue out and you see a thick white coating on your tongue, then it's a good idea to use a tongue scraper. And the best time to use it is upon waking and right before bedtime. But if you don't have that thick coating and you don't have bad breath, then you can probably get away with not tongue scraping every day. The speaker advises against using toothpaste, claiming it negatively impacts the brain. They recommend using a natural fiber toothbrush with boars hair bristles and brushing with only water to disrupt the biofilm on teeth. According to the speaker, toothpaste is unnecessary, and bad breath is caused by gut dysbiosis, not a lack of minty toothpaste. They suggest that if toothpaste is desired, opt for natural options with minimal ingredients and no fluoride. The speaker states their breath doesn't smell despite not using toothpaste.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Don't use toothpaste. I know that causes your brain to go. Let me show you guys how I do this. I use a natural fiber toothbrush. So those are boars hair bristles. They're not plastic. And I just use water in my teeth like this. I don't use toothpaste. If you want to use toothpaste, if your girlfriend is complaining, there are natural toothpastes out there that have few ingredients. Don't use anything with fluoride and the fewest ingredients possible, but the point of brushing your teeth is just to disrupt the biofilm. You don't need toothpaste to do that. And if you have bad breath, it's because of your gut. It's because of dysbiosis in your gut, not because you're not using a minty toothpaste. My breath doesn't smell at all. So I don't use toothpaste. I think it's just kind of a superfluous thing. You can just brush your teeth with water. It works just fine.

The speaker claims that healthy mouth bacteria are essential for controlling blood pressure and that destroying this bacteria can lead to hypertension, a risk factor for strokes and heart attacks. Instead of mouthwash, the speaker suggests limiting mouth breathing, flossing or using a water pick twice daily, and brushing or scraping the tongue at least twice a day. The speaker emphasizes that using mouthwash is a personal choice and encourages everyone to inform themselves, understand the data, and make good decisions.

Speaker 0: Stop using mouthwash. This is one thing that I absolutely avoid as a cardiac surgeon. Two reasons. Number one, just like the remainder of your gastrointestinal tract, your mouth has healthy bacteria, and by killing that bacteria, you injure the environment in your mouth. Number two, and this I find really interesting, there's a chemical reaction with that healthy bacteria that helps control your blood pressure. By destroying that bacteria in your mouth, you actually can cause high blood pressure. High blood pressure is a risk factor for both strokes and heart attacks. Now, what can you do to keep from blowing your friends out of their shoes with bad breath? Well, there's a long list of options, but let me give you three. The is try to limit mouth breathing because this dries out the environment inside your mouth which is not healthy for the good bacteria. Number two, floss and or water pick twice a day. Number three, brush or scrape your tongue at least twice a day. Now, look, using mouthwash is a personal choice. I did it for many years until I was educated. Your body, your choice. A new study shows cancer rates in the UK are rising across all age groups, but most significantly in those under 50, with a 24% increase. This means around 35,000 younger individuals are diagnosed annually, about 100 per day. The under-25s also saw a rise of 16%. While overall cancer rates are up 13%, with 90% of cases in those over 50, the increase in younger people is concerning. Scientists believe unhealthy lifestyles, like obesity, lack of exercise, and diets high in ultra-processed foods, are major factors. These can cause cellular changes, inflammation, and an unhealthy gut microbiome, affecting overall health and increasing cancer risk. The good news is that 40% of cancers are preventable through healthy habits like exercise, sunscreen use, maintaining a healthy weight, eating whole foods, limiting alcohol, and avoiding smoking. Early diagnosis and symptom awareness are also crucial due to potential genetic factors.

Speaker 0: Cancer in the under fifties is rising twice as fast as in the elderly according to a major new study. Scientists think the sharp rise in The UK is due to unhealthy lifestyles in younger people, but say much more research is needed. Sunny Biddulph joins me now. What do the figures show, Sunny? Well, I think the first thing to say is that incidences of cancer across all age groups are increasing in The UK. And this is a study based on data from the late nineteen nineties until 2019, so over two decades. So it's a long period of time. But the biggest finding in this is that the higher amounts of cases of cancer are happening in the age group of 25 40 nine. So let me just take you through the figures. In this age group, there has been a twenty four percent increase in the number of cases. So that means about thirty five thousand under 50s are developing cancer each year, and that's around one hundred people a day. The second biggest rise was in the under-25s with an increase of sixteen percent. So again, in the younger generation. But we need to put this in context and say that overall cancer rates, as I've said, are going up across all age groups by thirteen percent. And ninety percent of cases are being diagnosed in those aged 50. What people want to know now, scientists want to know now, is why this is happening with younger people. So the thing they've all agreed on is that more research is needed. But many believe this has a lot to do with lifestyle. So being obese, not doing exercise, and crucially eating a lot of ultra processed foods. Now this can all lead to problems in your body. I can read a few of them for you here. Cellular changes in your gut, inflammation, premature aging of your gut, and a very unhealthy unbalanced microbiome. So that means the bacteria that is essential to your digestion that you have in your digestive system is not absorbing nutrients properly. It's unbalanced and it can be toxic, which means your body finds it very hard to deal with. Now this not only leads to higher levels of bowel cancer, but it leads to higher levels of all cancer because all your major organs are affected. I think the good news, which is held in part of this report, is that four in ten cancers are preventable. So doing things like exercising, wearing sunscreen, keeping a healthy weight, eating whole foods, not drinking too much alcohol, and crucially, not smoking. This advice has been around for years to help protect you against cancer. But there are also genetic factors at play, something written into your DNA, which you can't really escape. So it's crucial for early diagnosis and to check yourself for symptoms and signs of cancer. But whichever way you look at this data, it is concerning that more and more younger people are developing cancer at such an early age. Absolutely. Sally, thank you very much for that. Thank you.

2. What's actually causing cancer rates to explode: • EMF radiation damaging cells • Microplastics disrupting hormones • Chronic stress suppressing immunity • Heavy metals blocking detox pathways • Seed oils creating chronic inflammation • Artificial light destroying circadian rhythms • Poor metabolic health from processed food

@yoursimmo - Simmo

3. The medical system treats cancer like a genetic lottery. But genetics don't explain why: • Breast cancer up 286% • Thyroid cancer up 373% • Liver cancer up 263% In just 4 decades. Your genes haven't changed… Your environment has.

@yoursimmo - Simmo

4. Your body creates and destroys cancer cells daily. Cancer only wins when: • Your immune system is compromised by stress and poor sleep • Your metabolism is damaged by seed oils and sugar • Your detox pathways are blocked by heavy metals • Your hormones are disrupted by plastics and toxins

5. Natural ways to fight cancer: 1) Morning sunlight: 30 mins within an hour of waking 2) Quality animal protein: Grass-fed meat 2x daily 3) Organ meats: liver, heart, kidney weekly 4) Raw dairy: unpasteurized milk and cheese 5) Oysters: 6-8 weekly for zinc and minerals 6) Reduced EMF: airplane mode at night 7) Proper sleep: in bed by 10pm

Exercising at least thirty minutes daily reduces the risk of 13 types of metabolic cancers. Starting exercise after a cancer diagnosis improves survival rates, notably in breast, prostate, and colon cancers. Research published in Cell Press highlights the benefits of exercise in prostate cancer, noting that exercise introduces myokines that inhibit tumor cell growth. Tumors need a blood supply to thrive, and natural killer cells, activated through exercise, can cut off this supply. Therefore, exercise serves as both preventative and curative medicine.

Speaker 0: People who exercise at least thirty minutes a day have a decreased risk in 13 types of cancer. Are those all metabolic cancers? Correct. If people start to exercise after a cancer diagnosis, their survival rate increases. She found this in three cancers, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and colon cancer. And this one in prostate cancer is phenomenal. It was published in Cell Press, a high stringent journal. They also took into account the other myokines that go in and inhibit the growth of tumor cells. You also have to remember, tumors have a blood supply. They're hungry. You need to cut off the blood supply. How do you do that? With natural killer cells. Well, how do you get the natural killer cells in them? It's via exercise. Exercise is medicine. It's preventative medicine, and it's curable medicine.

The mitochondria, not the nucleus, is the center of cancer. Cancer is a mitochondrial metabolic disease. Realizing this will massively drop death rates in just a few years. We may never completely get rid of cancer, but we can learn to live with it and keep it at bay. If we restrict the fuels that cancer needs through diet and lifestyle, and keep our mitochondria healthy, we can manage it. If we don't focus on the mitochondria, then almost 50% of people will continue to get cancer.

Speaker 0: Chondra is the center of the problem with cancer, not the nucleus. The mitochondria, it's a mitochondrial metabolic disease. And once you realize that, we're gonna drop these death rates massively in a very number of years for sure. Speaker 1: So if we take two paths and if we realize that the mitochondria is the center of the dysfunction and ultimately disease in the cell, if we go back down that path, what impact do you think that will have on the cancer cancer statistics over the coming Speaker 0: years? It'll drop it massively. I'm not gonna say we'll get rid of cancer completely. But what here's the thing. We may never get rid of it, but we can learn to live with it and keep it at bay. If we know that it can't survive without these two fuels and you can do a diet and lifestyle that can restrict the availability of those two fuels and keep your mitochondria as healthy as you possibly can. Speaker 1: What if we don't go down that path? What do you think? Speaker 0: Then you're gonna be right. One out of two people are gonna be having cancer. That would your statistics are gonna be absolutely correct.

I've learned that traditional hydration advice can be misleading. Drinking excessive water can deplete minerals and leave you feeling dehydrated. Instead of constant sipping, I focus on drinking only when thirsty. I've discovered seven effective hydration methods: spring water, bone broth, coconut water, salt with water, fresh fruit juice, raw milk, and sparkling water. My favorite hydration mix includes sparkling water, Vera salt, magnesium chloride, and Thiamine HCL. Always approach hydration advice critically and seek natural, unprocessed sources for the best benefits.

@yoursimmo - Simmo

You’ve been lied to about hydration. Drinking a gallon of water a day: • Depletes your minerals • Steals your energy • Leaves you dehydrated Here’s what they won’t tell you — and 7 stupidly simple tips to hydrate the right way:🧵 https://t.co/MCrYGRNUOT

@yoursimmo - Simmo

Stop sipping water all day long. Only drink when you’re truly thirsty. Constant sipping strips your body of essential minerals and leaves your cells starving for hydration. Ditch the tap water. Instead, here're 7 tiny hydration tweaks that’ll transform your health: https://t.co/nd5om6h2TW

Video Transcript AI Summary
Drinking excessive water can lead to water intoxication, which is dangerous. This condition occurs when the body’s sodium levels drop due to dilution from too much water, especially after sweating during exercise. This is known as hyponatremia. Ironically, drinking a lot of water can cause more dehydration by diluting electrolytes. To prevent this, it's advisable to add a pinch of salt to your water intake, particularly after intense physical activity.

Speaker 0: If you think drinking a lot of water is always safe, you might wanna think again. There's something called water intoxication, where water builds up in your brain that could be very, very dangerous. This happens when you're alone electrolytes, especially sodium. If you're working out and sweating and you lose a lot of salt, same time you drink a ton of water, could be very dangerous. The technical term for this is called hyponatremia. The water is diluting the electrolytes, especially sodium, creating actually more dehydration. Anytime you drink a lot of water, just add a pinch of salt to make sure you do not develop dehydration.

1. Spring Water. Spring water is the real deal — it comes with minerals, vitamins, and electrolytes your body needs. Tap, filtered, or purified water? Stripped of all the good stuff. Like with your food, always choose natural, unprocessed sources. https://t.co/eo7v6POvUw

Video Transcript AI Summary
Purified water is stripped of minerals and essential elements, which can lead to lethargy and low mineral levels. In contrast, spring water comes from deep aquifers and retains natural minerals that are vital for hydration and overall health. The minerals in spring water help you thrive, making it the better choice for hydration. Choose spring water for its life-giving properties.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Purified versus spring water. Which is better and which should I avoid? This is an easy one because purified water is basically stripping everything that we can out of water and giving it to you as a purified water. The big problem is at the end of the day, you end up with water that does not have the life giving minerals and the things that are naturally in water, including pH, that allows you to thrive and to live. Minerals actually provide your hydration. It isn't the water itself. It's the water with minerals that provide hydration. If you're drinking purified water all the time, you're going to be lethargic and have issues associated with low minerals. Spring water comes from deep within the earth in the aquifer, has all those natural life giving elements, the minerals and the trace minerals and the things you need to thrive. So choose spring water.

4) Salt + Water. Don’t fear salt. High-quality salt (not table salt) is full of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and chloride — four key electrolytes your body needs. Add it to your water to boost hydration. Pro Tip: Vera salt or Colima are best. https://t.co/OG4KfWMlYX

Video Transcript AI Summary
Including salt in your water has three key benefits. First, it helps balance electrolyte levels, preventing issues like muscle cramps, sleep disruption, irritability, and hypertension. Second, when combined with adenosine triphosphate (ATP), salt enhances muscle contractions during workouts, which is essential for raising your metabolic rate over time through optimized exercise and nutrition. Third, adding salt can help maintain your body's alkalinity, as excessive acidity can lead to various health problems. The recommended daily allowance is about one teaspoon, with a bit more needed for those who are very active, intermittent fasting, or consuming large amounts of water. Are you getting enough?
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Three reasons to include salt in your water. Number 1, it helps balance electrolyte levels. If you get too depleted in electrolytes, this leads to muscle cramping, sleep disruption, irritability, and hypertension, just to name a few. Number 2, salt plus adenosine triphosphate, a T P, helps deepen your muscle contractions through your workouts. Optimized workouts plus proper nutrition is the only way to raise your body's metabolic rate over time. Number 3, adding salt can help keep your body alkaline. If your body becomes too acidic, it leads to a slew of health issues. The recommended daily allowance is about 1 teaspoon. You'll need a bit more if you're super active, intermittent fasting, or drinking a ton of water. Are you getting enough?

And if you look at the medical literature, there's so much showing that orange juice is beneficial for humans, especially fresh squeezed orange juice like this. There are studies in diabetics showing that orange juice lowers triglycerides and improves insulin sensitivity. There are studies with white blood cells in humans showing that chronic consumption of orange juice improves inflammatory markers in those white blood cells. The inside of your blood vessels is lined with endothelium. There's studies that orange juice improves in the endothelial function, the inside of your blood vessels. So this is not something to be feared. This is like a treasure. Orange juice is this is just amazing stuff. Cheers.

Speaker 0: This is why you should drink carbonated water. So some of the benefits for health of drinking carbonated water is that it can help your digestion, helps you to feel fuller. So this is great if you're trying to lose some weight and is very satisfying. Now it does not have sugar and that is one of the bonuses because if you're addicted to soda or pop as we say here in Canada then that could be a problem in terms of your sugar intake. Even if you're on diet sodas and diet pops that's not so great. Something that I talk about in other videos in terms of the health of your microbiome. So my tips here are watch out if you are going to buy mineral water watch to make sure that it doesn't have fluoride and also make sure that it has enough minerals. It can be a little bit acidic, not that that's gonna change your pH of your blood. However, carbonated water can be a little bit more on the acidic side. Follow for more natural health tips.
