The brethren are assembled in a room
Standing in a V formation
Upon the middle of the floor is a pentacle
The High Priest has stepped forward to acknowledge the entrance
of the Queen of Heaven and her seed-

In this ritual the pentacle represents the holy ground
Suddenly a single knock is heard on the door
The Guarder opens it to find a boy a little over age 4
Standing behind him is his grandfather with hands on each of the boys shoulders
The Guarder closes the door

The Guides speak to the Guarder: 'Find out the occasion thereof.'
The Guarder signals with a sign then replies to Brother Guide that there is an alarm.
The Guide: What is the occasion for the alarm?
The Guarder turns to address the man and boy, Asking reason for the alarm

The man responds in German: Brother, I have been summoned to bring this child, that he may be enabled to better discharge his duties to the Order.
The Guarder: Who has summoned you?
The man: The Grand High Architect and the Queen Mother
The Guarder closes the door

The Guide to Guarder: Have you assured yourself that he has declared the customary sign?
Guarder: Sign and password have been rendered and heeded
The Guide: Then permit them to enter.

Now imagine as the boy enters
The men in V formation part forming two equal lines
Making a human pathway to the holy ground
Usually there is an Ezel (a stone) in the middle holding the sacred text and compass

However, the middle of the pentacle lies empty
In their place the boy is directed to stand
Then directed to kneel his arms stretched up and out straight above him

The girl is led to the circle
She is positioned to stand directly facing the boy
Looking down at him, she places her hands (palms touching) and interlocks her fingers with his
The 2 on holy ground
The embodiment of the Three Great Lights
