Here are the Sanctuary laws signed while Gov Jared Polis has been in office. 2019 HB19-1124 was signed, preventing local law enforcement cooperation with ICE. This bill included probation in the law, which keeps probation from notifying ICE when a criminal alien is released back into the community. 2020 SB -83 keeps ICE out of all Courthouses and makes it illegal for ICE agents to enter courthouses to arrest illegal aliens. 2021 SB 21-199 gives state benefits to Illegal aliens (the state estimated 162,000 illegal aliens at the time) made available state benefits, including dental care, mental health counseling, and family services. It also expands eligibility for property tax, rent, and utility subsidies. 2021 SB 21-1054 law was signed and passed to allow Illegal aliens to get housing assistance. 2021 SB21 077 allowed professional credentialing for illegal aliens (hairdressers, massage therapy, tattooing, etc.). 2021 Established a defense fund with state money called the Immigrant Legal Defense Fund (They neglected to use the term Illegal) 2023 HB 23-1100 law signed, which stops Immigration Detention in County Jails. He wasn't responsible for repealing SB-90 in 2013, which banned sanctuary cities in Colorado by enacting HB13-1258 (which made sanctuary cities possible), so I can't blame him there. He also didn't enact in-state tuition and driver's licenses in 2013 for Illegal Aliens, so it is not his fault, but it is a huge draw for illegal immigration to the state. Colorado is a magnate for illegal immigration.
