Speaker 0: To describe this story as horrifying would be an understatement. And if that sounds like a warning, then that's exactly what it's meant to be. It deals with the sexual abuse of children by satanic cults. And not only that, human sacrifices as well. We started investigating these secret satanic cults when a British Member of Parliament linked them with the ritual murder of children. In this day and age, it sounded too far fetched, as did suggestions that the same thing might be happening in Australia. But then we met Theresa. She's only 15, and for 12 years, she's been the victim of relentless depravity. Theresa's story is both shocking and compelling. Yet it's a story she's anxious to tell. But again, we should warn you that parts of this report may be distressing. Speaker 1: Friends of the family and strangers and my family used to rape me. Made me abort the babies I had. Speaker 0: It would be hard to imagine more misery and suffering than what Teresa says she's had to endure. Speaker 1: And us kids would be made to do things with the adults and the animals, and then a a sacrifice would happen. Speaker 2: The sacrifice. Were these animal sacrifices? Speaker 1: It's no dream. Speaker 0: Few people, if any, in Britain have counseled as many victims of satanic abuse or satanists themselves as Ray Wyre has. If there is an expert on satanic cults, it would have to be him. Do you believe Teresa's story? Speaker 4: I believe Teresa's story. How do those children able to describe rituals, to talk about ceremonies, to talk about sacrificing animals? How do those children know? Nightmares, imagining it. You can't imagine those things at at three and four years old, and you also don't have the evidence of anal sex abuse and oral sex abuse and all that other abuse that clearly those children have experienced and endured. During these ceremonies, was Satan the devil ever referred to? Speaker 1: He was called Lucifer. Speaker 2: What did they say about the devil, about Lucifer? Speaker 1: That killing the people made him happy. Speaker 0: Sacrifices to please the devil. According to Teresa, the worst rituals took place at a house somewhere in the country. Speaker 1: It was big, you know, expensive. From the front, it looked like a castle. You know, it had a long drive and big double wooden doors. Speaker 2: Do you think they were rich people then? Speaker 1: Very rich. Speaker 0: Now, where was this big house somewhere in the country? Theresa says she can't take the police there because the satanist made sure she'd never know how to find it. I've seen loads of babies killed there, just newborn babies or aborted ones, which were only small. You know, four year olds. Any age, really. Speaker 2: Did they ever say they might kill you? Speaker 1: They threatened to kill my little girl who, when I left, was still at the house. Speaker 2: A friend? What little girl? Speaker 1: My little girl, Alex. She's about four now. Speaker 2: You mean you had a child? Yeah. How old were you when you had that child? Speaker 1: 11. Speaker 0: Motherhood at the age of 11. But from what Teresa told her mother, it wasn't the only pregnancy. Speaker 3: We think about seven or It's eight hard to say. May maybe because I know too much about The United States because the first war in Europe after World War two was The US bombing of Belgrade for seventy eight days to change borders of a European state. The idea was to break Serbia to create, Kosovo as an enclave and then to install Banda Steel, which is the largest NATO base in the Balkans, in the Southwest Balkans. So The US started this under Clinton that we will break the borders. We will illegally bomb another country. We didn't have any UN authority. This was a, quote, NATO mission to do that. Then I know The United States went to war repeatedly, illegally, in what it did in Afghanistan and then what it did in Iraq and then what it did in Syria, which was the Obama administration, especially Obama and Hillary Clinton, tasking the CIA to overthrow Bashar al Assad, and then what it did with NATO illegally bombing Libya to topple Muammar Gaddafi, and then what it did in Kyiv in February 2014, I happened to see some of that with my own eyes. The US overthrew Yanukovych together with right wing Ukrainian military forces. We overthrew a president. And what's interesting, by the way, is we overthrew Yanukovych the day after the European Union representatives had reached an agreement with Yanukovych to have early elections, a government of national unity, and a stand down of both sides. That was agreed. The next thing that happens is the opposition, quote, unquote, says, we don't agree. They stormed the government buildings, and they deposed Yanukovych. And within hours, The United States says, yes. We support the new government. It didn't say, oh, we had an agreement. That's unconstitutional, what you did. So we overthrew a government contrary to a promise that the European Union had made. And by the way, Russia, The United States, and the EU were parties to that agreement, and The United States, an hour afterwards, backed the coup. Okay. So everyone's got a little bit to answer for. In 2015, the Russians did not say, we want the Donbas back. They said peace should come through negotiations, and negotiations between the ethnic Russians in the East Of Ukraine and this new regime in Kyiv led to the Minsk two agreement. The Minsk two agreement was voted by the UN Security Council unanimously. It was signed by the government of Ukraine. It was guaranteed explicitly by Germany and France. And you know what? And it's been explained to me in person. It was laughed at inside the US government. This is after the UN Security Council unanimously accepted it. The Ukrainians said, we don't wanna give autonomy to the region. Oh, but that's part of the treaty. The US told them, don't worry about it. Angela Merkel explained in in a notorious interview after the twenty twenty two escalation. She said, oh, you know, we knew that Minsk two was just a holding pattern to give Ukraine time to build its strength. No. Minsk two was a UN Security Council unanimously adopted treaty that was supposed to end the war. So when it comes to who's trustworthy, who to believe, and so forth, I guess my problem, Pierce, is I know the United States government. I know it very well. I I don't trust them for a moment. I want these two sides actually to sit down in front of the whole world and say, these are the terms, then the world can judge because we could get on paper clearly for both sides of the world. We're not gonna overthrow governments anymore, the United States needs to say. We accept this agreement, The United States needs to say. Russia needs to say we're not stepping one foot farther than whatever the boundary is actually reached, and NATO's not going to enlarge. And let's put it for the whole world to see. In this day and age, it sounded too far fetched, as did suggestions that the same thing might be happening in Australia. But then we met Teresa. She's only 15, and for 12 of those years, she's been the victim of relentless depravity. Theresa's story is both shocking and compelling, yet it's a story she's anxious to tell. But then there are the medical reports, Evidence of sustained sexual abuse. And there's this. A statement prepared for 60 minutes by Teresa's psychiatrist. It says, in my opinion, Teresa's account is not the product of a psychotic illness nor the figment of a fertile imagination. I believe her to be telling the truth. Speaker 1: I know what's true and what's not. Speaker 0: We also took Teresa's story to this man, therapist Ray Wire. He reads a transcript of our interview and listens to her voice. Speaker 1: It's no dream. Speaker 0: Few people, if any, in Britain have counselled as many victims of satanic abuse or satanists themselves as Ray Wyer has. If there is an expert on satanic cults, it would have to be him. Do you believe Teresa's story? Speaker 4: I believe Teresa's story. It's exactly the same story as I've heard from men who says they've done it. Speaker 0: You've dealt with other cases like hers? Yes. 21 cases like hers, he says, in the past 2 years alone. Speaker 4: Themes like they were put in boxes with spiders and worms, where they were trapped in fear, where there was a high use of excrement in urine, where there was talk of human sacrifice. Speaker 0: Take just one of those rituals, putting children in boxes with spiders and worms. Now listen to what Teresa told her mother. Speaker 3: And they had a coffin like box that children were putting with spiders and snakes and the lid shut and left in there, I would have come out deranged. I could not have coped with that mentally at all. Speaker 0: You have evidence to back up stories like Teresa's? That this is really happening? Speaker 4: Well, we have that age of child 6, 5 and 4 giving information that ties up with Teresa. How do those children know? How do those children able to describe rituals, to talk about ceremonies, to talk about sacrificing animals? How do those children know? Nightmayers imagining it? You can't imagine those things at 3 4 years old, and you also don't have the evidence of anal sex abuse and oral sex abuse and all that other abuse that clearly those children have experienced and endured. Speaker 2: During these ceremonies, was Satan the devil ever referred to? Speaker 1: He was called Lucifer. Speaker 2: What did they say about the devil? About Lucifer? Speaker 1: That, killing the people made him happy. Speaker 0: Sacrifices to please the devil. According to Teresa, the worst rituals took place at a house somewhere in the country. Speaker 1: It was big, you know, expensive. From the front, it looked like a castle. You know, it had a long drive and big double wooden doors. Speaker 2: Do you think they were rich people then? Speaker 1: Very rich. Speaker 0: Now where was this big house somewhere in the country? Theresa says she can't take the police there because the Satanist made sure she'd never know how to find it. Speaker 3: Teresa was always drugged or on a couple of occasions she says she was knocked out, so she never fully knew the route. Speaker 1: There was a tramp who was brought in once, you know, and he was killed. I used cut from his throat down to his stomach, And, they they hit him, all bits of him. Speaker 2: They killed a man at a ceremony? Yeah. In front of you? Speaker 1: Yeah. In front of all of the all of us. Speaker 2: Did the tramp, did this man, fight back? Speaker 1: No. I think he was, you know, drunk or something. He seemed really dopey. He was laughing a lot when he was brought in. He started screaming when they began to cut, but after a while, you know, he died. I'd seen a few killings before then. And though I wasn't used to it, it, you know, that was the worst one. I really don't know what I thought. I suppose I thought thank God it's not me. Speaker 2: Let me get this right now. Are you saying that you saw more than one person killed in that house? Speaker 1: Yeah. I've seen, loads of babies killed there. Just newborn babies or aborted ones, which were only small. You know, 4 year olds. Any age, really. Speaker 2: Did they ever say they might kill you? Speaker 1: They threatened to kill my little girl, who, when I left, was still at the house. Speaker 2: A friend? What little girl? Speaker 1: My little girl, Alex. She's about 4 now. Speaker 2: You mean you had a child? Yeah. How old were you when you had that child? Speaker 1: 11. Speaker 0: Motherhood at the age of 11. Speaker 1: We never talked to Speaker 0: But from what Teresa told her mother, it wasn't the only pregnancy. Speaker 3: We think, about 7 or 8 times. It's hard to say. It was constantly happening from the time she was capable of being pregnant. Speaker 2: What happened to the pregnancies to the babies? Speaker 1: They were aborted by my nan or by one of the doctors at the house. Speaker 0: There were doctors there at that house? Speaker 1: Yeah. There was, 2, I think. Yeah. And a and a nurse. Speaker 2: What would happen, to the fetuses, the unborn babies? Speaker 1: I used to be taken away most of the time. And one time, baby was taken out of me and then killed in front me because it was still alive. Speaker 2: And then, what would happen? Speaker 1: Well, after they killed it, they would eat it. Oh, we were also made to eat it. Speaker 2: You were made to eat your own fetus? Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 2: Who made you do this? Speaker 1: My name. Speaker 5: You'd think the one person in the world you could leave a little girl with would be grandma. Someone to Speaker 0: give her love and protect her from harm. Yet, when Theresa was left to live with her grandmother, they might as well have handed her to the devil himself. Speaker 3: Grandmothers, I mean, the vision, it conjures up for you. A sweet old lady with grey hair, rosy cheeks holding her arms out to love her grandchildren and it was exactly the reverse. Speaker 0: But why was Teresa living with Nan in the first place and not with her mother? Speaker 3: When my first marriage broke up, I took the children with me and couldn't cope. So I gave them to their father who in turn moved to his mother's. Speaker 0: To Nan's place? Speaker 3: Yeah. And when he left the Nan's place, he left the children there. Speaker 2: How do you feel now towards her grandma and the other people who who did all those things to your daughter? Speaker 3: They disgust me. They are the worst form of life this Earth has had the misfortune to create. Vile. Speaker 2: Did you ever try to to run away? You must have been must have been frightened. Speaker 1: A couple of times I did, but my uncle, he caught me and brought me back. Speaker 2: Going to the police, did that occur to you? Speaker 1: No. No. I thought it was normal, you know, even though I didn't like it. You know, I'm I mean, you don't like to eat greens, but, you know, some days, you know, you thought I thought it was just her being cool to be kind or something like that. Speaker 3: She said to me it was something that everybody did. She thought, you know, like, you don't like going to school or the dentist. You don't like going to the black masses. Speaker 1: It was never any different. I didn't have nothing to compare it to. Speaker 0: All part of life, Theresa thought. Even a miscarriage one day at school. Speaker 1: Yeah. I asked the teacher if I could go to the toilet, and she allowed me out. I went to the toilet and, the baby was in my knickers. I thought it was dead, but it it wasn't. It was still moving. Speaker 2: And yet no one at school knew No. Saw anything? Speaker 3: No. Or if they did, they didn't say. No. She was treated for a high temperature, a fever, nothing more. Speaker 2: What did she do with the baby? Speaker 3: She kept her for a while because she was frightened that they'd use the child as part of the rituals. So, she'd turned a pencil case into a little coffin. Apparently, she put roses in it to make her smell sweet, put a letter with her, pictures of herself and her brother. A picture of me. Speaker 1: And then I put it down the chute because I didn't want my nan to get it. Speaker 0: As we said earlier, the police have already charged some members of the cult, and we know they're also investigating Teresa's accounts of those ritual killings. If there were as many, she told us, then the satanists had a problem. How did they get rid of the bodies? Speaker 1: They had, a tub, you know, pretty big. I don't know. A fairly big tub and they used to put the bodies and bones in there, and it used to go like, you know, fizzy and that. And then there was nothing left, Or there didn't seem to be, but when they cleared it out, there used to be a sludge at the bottom. Speaker 0: Theresa's story, her account, doesn't really surprise you? Speaker 4: It doesn't surprise me in the light of, satanic abuse. No. Speaker 0: Do you get frustrated with people who just won't accept that these things do happen? Speaker 4: Yes. Because I I've worked with murderers in prisons for years. Not that long ago, a boy was found in a forest in southern England without a head. We have no doubts that men can do that. And yet when we start talking about men within satanism, who actually believe in evil and it's the right to express evil, we suddenly have a a doubt. Speaker 0: As I was leaving to Reese's place. She handed me this note. It's addressed to the film crew She says thanks for bothering to help kids like me. I hope it helps. Speaker 0: Firefighters take an oath to serve and protect their community, their family members, their friends, even strangers, and that's exactly what they did on August 8th. And they were prepared to fight even until their death. Speaker 1: So start from the beginning that day. Speaker 2: So that day we got dispatched to help out, with already started fire in Lahaina. And we got into Lahaina, we're coming down the highway, and we made a right up Lahaina with some pretty heavy smoke, in the area. People evacuating, you know, I believe it's pretty gridlocked on the way down so we, went up. Took a right at the bottom of Lahaina and we met up. There was another engine company that was fighting a fire at the corner of powwow and kinda like Lahaina. I Yes. Our thought process was to go a little higher in the neighborhood and try and prevent it from continuing on through the neighborhood. We made we made our way up, little farther up the block in that neighborhood, and we realized that there is a lot of structures involved. People were still trying to evacuate. It was just too heavy a situation in there, so we decided to push back. We ended up falling back, actually right next to the other engine company right across the street. That house started to be involved within that short span of time. So we decided to kinda pull our attack lines and try and stop it from there. So that's like right at the beginning of where everything started to happen. Speaker 1: Right. What was going through your mind? Speaker 2: You know, at the time, we were just involved. We were just we were trying to prevent it from going any farther down La Hayluna, you know, even though we were pretty much at the bottom. At that time we were just concentrating on to get the job done, you know, to try and get people out of there, try and stop those house fires at the bottom of. And it was, you know, it we weren't even in there that long. I don't know what the time frame was. But by that time, you know, there was heavy smoke, heavy heat pushing down when the wind would push down, you know, turn black like midnight. We couldn't see anything. So we're at that house, I don't know how long, right next to another engine company, and, then we got the call to evacuate. You know, our section was to evacuate. And, from there, we just we went out, we tried to exit down the line in Luna. And, it was still gridlocked. You know, there's still people in their cars. And then we so wait. Go ahead. Speaker 3: Okay. Speaker 2: So people, you know, gridlock still in their cars. We got reports that the top of the neighborhood was open. So we turned around, the other engine company tried to turn around and by that time we, we started to try and make an exit back into the black smoke to the top of the neighborhood. Another engine company was coming down, we get you know, I got out of the truck, made a face to face with their driver and, you know, we're talking and he he was saying that we need to evac. I told him it was blocked on line Luna. He said it was blocked at the top, which was where we were supposed to go. Then from there, we kind of reversed. We positioned our apparatus with the other original company that was there. And, I I can't remember if the captains did a face to face or I can't remember what that communication was like, but we, the decision was to shelter in place. It's because our both of our, egresses was they were blocked. And from there, we just kinda prepared ourselves, you know, to kinda deal with just deal with what we have to deal with, you know. We set up our hose lines, positioned our apparatus in a way to kind of help give us shelter. And so from there, we were just preparing ourselves, you know. Trying to conserve our air, trying to stay cool we can. You know, it got to a point in the truck that it was just too hot to to, too hot in the truck. So a lot of us, at least our company, because we're with another company, we exited the truck. And I think caps all, you know, his windshield was bubbling the side. I saw some, you know, some little smoke streams coming from my my, my steering wheel. So at that point, it was just too hot in our cab. We exited downwind, kind of sheltered in place downwind. I think the other engine company was on their side, and all of us we just stayed there trying to seek shelter. And, you know, when the wind would lay down it was just so hot, the ground was hot. Even to the touch through your gloves, through your protective gear, it was just burning so we just kinda sat there pretty much trying to wait it out. We tried conserving the water that we could until we really needed it, you know. And we're just there. I believe one of our other firefighters, he, he noticed another firefighter who seemed a little disoriented, you know, he got up, this other firefighter, and kind of wandered into the heavy atmosphere that was there. Out in the open without his pack on and he one of the guys we were with, he went over and helped him over, helped him back, try and get shelter from from the heat and the smoke. I mean, can't remember how long after that they, remember hearing police chirp, like a police car chirp. And we heard it for, you know, seemed like about 5 minutes here and there. It would come, it would go, and, then all of a sudden, out of smoke, police SCVO, rolled up. And one of our, firefighter on on the other crew that we are with, he opened the door and he said, get in. And we all got up. We all went over. We couldn't open the doors. So I mean, we're all trying to break the the police SUV windows. We can't break the window, it's a police SUV, you know. And so we finally got the doors open. One of the other crew members from the other company collapsed. So a bunch of us, can't remember who, we all carried him over to the other, the other the passenger side door. We got him up on one of our crew members. 2 guys jumped in the front seat. 2 guys from the other company climbed over the the back seat into the back. I jumped into the back with the other the other guy in our crew, and we, you know, we thought we had our guy all the way in. You know, he was he was already unconscious, and we tried getting him in. We couldn't get him in, and I think we got him high enough to where his, the door was, like, right about it where the door closes right about his shin level, so maybe his boots are still out. And it was just a struggle to try and get him in. We're all just trying to pull them up. We couldn't get them up, so it's kinda everyone made we all made a decision that we we just gotta get out of here, you know, and, so we just held them, and we just sped off down the line, Luna, you know, in some pretty heavy smoke, finding our way. He did a good job getting us out of there. There are some times, you know, where we started kind of losing the guy who were holding, but, you know, we made sure we held on, you know, none none none of his body parts were touching the ground anytime we're moving, you know. Then we got out to, I think the aquatic center intersection. And then from there, we just all build out and we all started getting to work on on cap. Got him to the ground, tried cooling him off, and then we got pulses. And so we ended up just doing rescue breathing, you know, tried pouring water on him. There's a bunch of bystanders that came off, you know, offering water, there's an off duty firefighter as well that was there that was helping us. I think one of the PD units, I can't remember who he was, but he was there helping us, you know, just make sure we monitor. We kept Cap's pulses and, from there, it's medics came on scene and we loaded him in. Yeah. Speaker 1: Cap, can you kinda describe it in your words, your experience, like, from the beginning that day? Speaker 3: Yeah. So, at the station while at the station, we heard the chatter on the radio about, a fire. With all the chatter coming in, I told their guys, we're probably gonna dispatch. And maybe a couple of minutes after that, we got dispatched, us, along with another engine company. So we headed out that that way, turned down one of the main roads, turned down to Lahainaluna, and turned up to, powwow Road, where we saw the other company that we were, asked to to, to aid, to help him. So, for us, the main thing is, you know, protect life. So our main thing is to stop the fire, and that would stop if we stop the fire, then, you know, everybody will be okay. So that's the main thing we're trying to do is stop the fire, and then everybody will be safe. So that's our main goal is to stop the fire. So we turned on the road, went down further down the road. It was kinda obvious that, it was too hot already, and the winds are too strong. So, we were gonna try and exit, but by that time, the roads were all blocked up with all the people trying to leave the neighborhood. Like Kavika said, we had reports of the top of the road being blocked off. We're so we're stuck in there. So when we decided to shelter in place in on that road, we did pull all the line, tried to, protect ourselves with the water. The hose failed. It was too hot. The hose burned, so we had to shut that off, and we had to shelter in the truck. And so I remember, went to the side of the truck, I grabbed a bunch of spare bottles, threw it in the cab, because I knew the most important thing was our air. So we got in the truck, tried to stay calm and tried to control our breathing, and we're breathing out of bottles, but like Kavitha said, it was so hot in there. Heat just saps your energy. I was really just so fatigued. I remember I was trying to even change my bottle, and I couldn't even do that. I couldn't even change my own bottle. I was so fatigued, and yes, I remember looking at the windshield, and the windshield of the truck was failing. And so I was pretty sure that if we stayed there, we weren't gonna make it. So, actually, they probably didn't even know, but I actually texted my family on my phone, you know, saying my goodbyes. But, my phone was too hot early, so it didn't go through. The message luckily, it didn't go through. But then we decided after a while that, you know, it's too hot in the truck, so we had to get out. So we got out of the truck and sheltered behind the truck, which kind of blocked us from the heat. It was kinda it was a little better outside, being sheltered behind the truck. And like you said, another firefighter, another captain, he was trying to help the other people's residents, and he became, a little auto mentored mental status, so he was walking around, and he actually ended up kneeling on the ground. And while he was kneeling because we said that the the heat was so hot, the asphalt was so hot, because he was kneeling on the ground, his knees burned. That's what burned his knees so bad, from kneeling on the ground. So it was never, I know before we heard reports saying that it was drilled, but we never drilled his legs on the ground. It was burnt. And so, yeah, so pretty much like what this what it said, like said, luckily, the other fighter, other firefighter got out, commandeered a fire a police vehicle, drove back in, and we all got into that vehicle, and he got us out of there. Speaker 1: I know you kind of explained your thought process, but can you You know, like, I mean, when you say shelter in place that that means you're being surrounded. Right? Like, there's nothing really you can do. That's a master's art. Speaker 3: That's a master's art. Yep. Speaker 1: What do you think about it all now? Speaker 3: I'm just happy to be alive. Circumstances would have been really bad if he, or the property having come back. But there is a good high possibility that a couple of lives would have been lost. Definitely. Speaker 1: What was that moment like when he showed up with the police cruiser? Speaker 3: Oh, just elated. You know? Just so happy and, I mean, second chance. Yeah. We all got a second chance. Speaker 1: I wanna hear your words too. Like, describe your feelings and thoughts when that firefighter 1 showed up with that police car. Speaker 2: It's just it's the hell out of here. You know, it's like, it's just goal. Yeah. It was it was definitely it's just let's get out of here. And there was no, like, forethought of what's gonna happen next. We're just just getting this car. You know, this is our next safe our next safe zone, and this is our way out. You know? Speaker 1: And you guys didn't know he was coming. Right? Like, when you're sheltering in place, I guess, what was going through your mind then? Speaker 2: No. I at that time, I felt somewhat confident that we would be okay with with the, you know, we had some area above us, like a parking lot. We had our truck with water. You know, at the time, I felt confident that we're okay. You know? So like, if we I'm glad we weren't put in the situation to where we had to walk out or possibly carry people out, you know, that would have been a totally different story. It's just hard sometimes, you know, like, we got out and, like, a lot of people didn't. So, like, friends, parents, and Speaker 3: Can we give one minute? Speaker 2: Sorry. I'm good. I'm good. I'm Speaker 3: good. Speaker 2: I'm good. Speaker 1: I wanted to, I mean, it's your hometown. Yeah. Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 1: That I mean, you guys are heroes going in and saving lives, the community, strangers, but I mean, I think a different layer for you, right? You're born and raised on that side, you're a Lahaina boy. Can you talk about, I guess, that level of Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, it's definitely hard, you know, knowing, you know, people not really lost their homes but, you know, family members. You know, we were in a very difficult situation where we almost lost our lives but that doesn't compare to people that lost their lives. You know, people that are, you know, people that I knew or friends, family members, and you know, who maybe didn't even know how fast this fire was coming or they were trying to leave and they didn't, or they couldn't make it. Whether they were consumed by the fire or they just stuck in traffic and or whatever it is. It's it's definitely, I don't think it's really hit a lot of us. You know, even the community. I don't think it's really hit yet because everyone out there is everyone's helping. You know, you got you got all these private bases that, you know, all the community members, you know. Some of my old coaches and and some of my friends and family that they have set up. And they're helping the community firsthand, you know. Got boats coming in from off island. Bringing it into Kahana and, you got all these hubs that these guys are just out there helping. I don't think it's that time for them to set in yet because normalcy hasn't set in yet. And, I think, you know, once that kinda starts setting in, you know, it's gonna be very hard for the community, you know. You know, like, when all when the dust settles from all of this, like, just the people can't leave. That's gonna be the hardest thing, you know. Like, we don't wanna get price out of paradise, you know. Generational homes, families there for generations. Like, they can't lose their homes, man. Like they can't afford to pay a mortgage and a rental payment after all this assistance runs out. You know, so there's gotta there's gotta be a way where all these families can can stay. Because that's what makes Lahaina that's what makes Hawaii, Hawaii. It's not the it's the people, you know. Yeah. I I've, my brother. I mean, luckily, my parents home was spared because it's above the bypass. But I have, you know, my my great grandparents home, which which I care for. Uncles, aunties, cousins, countless other, you know, friends, families, coaches, you know, and it's just dev devastation and it's they can't leave, you know. Hopefully, there's some kind of assistance that will carry them through the long run. You know what I mean? And not just 6 months. Because they all everyone has food. They all have shelter whether it's staying with family members or at the hotels, but what happens after that? You know? Speaker 1: As a firefighter, what do you wanna tell the, Lahaina community? Speaker 2: You know, just know that, like, we were there. We tried as much as we could with what we had. You know, we're there all night. We didn't sleep. I mean, I know there are a lot of community members there, friends that were up there in, in the smoke that they were doing the same thing, you know, pulling, pulling people out. Just know that we were there all night. We're gonna be there and we'll always be there. You know, to do what we can for our community. You know, because it's, you know, it's not just me. There's other people from from behind that that work for the department, work for the police, work for medics. You know, it's gonna take all of us together with the people of Lahaina to help rebuild and keep people there. So we're not gonna leave. We're gonna keep doing what we do. Trying to help where we can. Speaker 1: Cap, going back to you, how long have you been doing this? 24 years. 24 years. This I know it's been described the fire has been described before, but in your words, I mean, in your experience, I mean, describe the fire. Speaker 3: It's, nobody can say that they've experienced it. This is a one in a lifetime, I think, described as a worst disaster in a in a century. It's something different for us here because we usually win. Whenever you go the Desert Fire, we usually win. We usually put together and win, and just one day we're gonna win. Speaker 1: You know, as captain of your crew, I guess, you guys are all in it together. I'm sure you talk to them all the time, but what do you hope they know as their captain? Like, what do you wanna tell them? Speaker 3: I'm responsible for them. I'm supposed to make the decisions, the right decisions. We were just lucky this time we got out. Yeah. I mean, this is we're like a family. So here's a here's a close one. Yeah. We tried our best. Everybody everybody tried their best to a point where people got hurt. Some people even died trying their best. We almost got hurt or died trying our best. I don't think there's anybody in the county that didn't try their best, but we all stick together, and we'll pull through. Speaker 1: We're I don't really know that where you folks were. I know you gave street names, but correct me if I'm wrong, but someone said that the goal was to try to save some of the kupuna at Kalimahulu. Is that where you folks were, or was that Speaker 3: I don't remember that specific instructions, but we were just, the first engine company that was on scene there directed us in their vicinity. So we just headed that way and we just went to work. Speaker 1: Is Kalamazoo near where you guys were? Or were you guys Speaker 2: just Higher. Higher. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So we weren't even Okay. That wasn't part of what our assignment was. Speaker 1: I see. Okay. Is there anything else you wanna I guess I guess starting with you, Cap. Like, anything else you wanna say that I didn't ask? Speaker 3: No. That's Speaker 2: it. You know, it's it's been been difficult at times. You know, most times, just all of us, we internalize it. But I know it it's it's affecting, you know, not only us first responders. I know it's affecting everyone in the community and, you know, people went through events and see things that, you know, you shouldn't see. And it's gonna take a long time to heal. It's gonna take a long time to heal from the loss. The loss of life. The loss of the memories that, you know, my parents, all the community of the Haina, all my relatives, friends, and family. Like, it's gonna take a long time to kinda start that healing process, you know? But I know if if there's one community, Lahaina is gonna get through it, you know? In this day and age, it sounded too far fetched, as did suggestions that the same thing might be happening in Australia. But then we met Teresa. She's only 15, and for 12 of those years, she's been the victim of relentless depravity. Theresa's story is both shocking and compelling, yet it's a story she's anxious to tell. But again, we should warn you that parts of this report may be distressing. Speaker 1: Friends of family and strangers and my family used to rape me. Made me, bought the babies I had. Speaker 0: It would be hard to imagine more misery and suffering than what Teresa says she's had to endure. Speaker 1: And us kids would be made to do things with the adults and animals. Speaker 1: It's no Speaker 0: dream. Few people, if any, in Britain have counselled as many victims of satanic abuse or satanists themselves as Ray Wyer has. You can't imagine those things at 3 4 years old, and you also don't have the evidence of anal sex abuse and oral sex abuse and all that other abuse that clearly those children have experienced and endured. I've seen, loads of babies killed there. Just newborn babies, or aborted ones which were only small. You know, 4 year olds. Any age, really. Speaker 2: Did they ever say they might kill you? Speaker 1: They threatened to kill my little girl who, when I left, was still at the house. Speaker 2: A friend? What little girl? Speaker 1: My little girl, Alex. She's about 4 now. The destruction of the nuclear family, children being indoctrinated by the state, abortion, the eradication of God and spirituality from education, life in megacities and away from nature, toxic food, air, and water, social media replacing real human connection and interaction, engineered financial crisis and taxation, endless wars and massive migration, stress, anxiety, depression, drugs, and alcohol, constant fear mongering, moral relativism as the new religion. And I could go on and on about how humanity has been influenced and forced to move away from all the things that give us strength, security, purpose, and meaning. A weak, immoral, disconnected, ignorant, and unhealthy population is an easy target for the next stage, the creation of an entire generation of androgynous beings. Masculinity is under attack psychologically, culturally, and biologically. Women are being replaced in sports, entertainment, and politics by men pretending to be women, and children are being indoctrinated at school to think that gender is a choice. The transgender movement is not a grassroots movement. It comes from the top. It has nothing to do with people's freedom of expression, sexuality, or civil rights. It's an evil to with a clear agenda to get us closer to transhumanism by making us question the most fundamental notion of human identity, our agenda. If you don't know who you are, if you already identify as a hybrid between a man and a woman, you will be easily convinced to become a hybrid between human and machine. Gender ideology is the 2 +2 equals 5 from George Orwell's 1984 dystopian novel. It's the final test to see whether we will follow the most absurd party line towards our own extinction. Alright. Speaker 0: Let's get back to the assessment of your wealth for a second. If you had to liquidate, if you just decided I'm I'm going somewhere else, I'm gonna live in a trailer, and you wanted to sell off And you wanted to sell off everything. You'd start with your real estate development, all of your real estate holdings, and whatever else you have, your casinos, so on and so forth. You sold everything. How big would that check be that you put in your pocket when you headed west for the trailer? Speaker 1: Well, I hate to disappoint, but I have zero idea, David. How come this seat is at such a low level? You know, I'm looking at He's got this stage rigged, folks. No. No. No. No. Speaker 0: But that that seat is Speaker 1: a good half, 6 6 inches higher than my stage. Speaker 0: And so am I. But no. I'm serious. I think I think that this is I'm Speaker 1: not gonna get you off that subject. Speaker 0: No. This is I think I think this is the kind of thing that people love to fantasize about because you were unquestionably one of the most successful men in the country, if not the world, and also one of the wealthiest. So Give us a figure that we might ponder here. You'll never get it out Speaker 1: of me, David. You'll never get it out of me. You'll try, but you'll never get it. Let's get something like Speaker 2: that. How how Speaker 1: we're gonna become more successful? Let's talk Speaker 0: about that. I read something this afternoon that said in a in the bank right now, you have $500,000,000 in cash. Speaker 1: In cash. Speaker 0: Is that a fair? Which paper did Well, I can't divulge those sources. You have to give me Speaker 1: you have to give me Speaker 0: the news? No. No. Just tell me. Is that not true, or is that close? Am I nuts here? Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. I just you have to tell me where you got that, David. This is a very unusual interview, folks. Speaker 0: You you won't put a figure, just an imaginary figure? Speaker 1: Never would. Speaker 0: A 1,000,000,000. You're worth $1,000,000,000? Perhaps. Perhaps. Perhaps. Perhaps. Are we the low side of perhaps or the high side? What were you like as a kid? What what kind of childhood did you have? Speaker 1: Well, I had a good childhood. Wonderful parents. Really good parents. And and it was a a good a child today. He's a very normal in a lot of respects, but a very, very solid child. Speaker 0: Yeah. Speaker 1: We're From the standpoint of family. Speaker 0: The are Are you a driven person? Are you did you jump out of bed Speaker 1: in the morning? No. I don't think of myself as driven. Unfortunately, I don't need lots of sleep like some people and some people don't. I don't need That I would say that I'm somebody that enjoys what I do. And I enjoy it so much that perhaps I do it well. But I really enjoy what I do. I don't like to think of myself is driven. I don't like to think of myself really as ambitious. I just enjoy what I do there. Speaker 0: Is is what you do something you've always wanted to do? I know your father, was and still is a real estate department. Speaker 1: I was in the real State business and I've, I've been in that and other businesses and different things. I like what I'm doing. I just enjoy what I'm doing. I love the real State business. I love the other businesses that I'm in. Speaker 0: Could could you have done it without your father as a as a support system, both emotionally and financially? Did he help you out with Speaker 1: your story? Was very important. I learned a lot from my More than anything else, I learned a lot. My father was out in sort of a tough business in Brooklyn, Queens, rent control property and various properties. And It wasn't a great business. It was a good business. And he was a solid guy and a bright guy. And I learned a lot from my father. And I think if in terms of support, that would be the number one thing that I got to move forward. Speaker 0: Have have you had failures, big failures? Speaker 1: Well, I I I don't look at failures as failures. I think a failure is something that you really wanna learn by. I I would say that I haven't had too many and keep it that way. Speaker 0: Mhmm. I like Speaker 2: to keep it. Speaker 0: What's the biggest bath you've taken on a deal? Speaker 1: I I don't know if I can answer it yet. I mean, let's see what happens. So far, I've been very fortunate. Speaker 2: But I Speaker 1: mean, we've all been fortunate. Markets have been going up other than a few weeks. Speaker 0: Now did you get hurt in the stock market? Speaker 1: Not particularly. But I think everybody gets hurt because when you lose a the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the Speaker 2: the the the the the the Speaker 1: the the the the the the the Speaker 0: Let me ask you 1 more of these silly questions, and I promise after we do the commercial, we'll go on to other topics. You're on the, the cover of the, new issue of People Magazine. I don't know why I'm beating her around the bush here. Don't know why you're being so goofy about this. It says on the cover, you're a billionaire. Speaker 1: It does, sir. Yeah. If someone says it, I would have to believe it. When people says Speaker 0: What what's the deal with you and, and Ed Koch? Is is this an old irritation between the 2 of you or is this something new? No. Speaker 1: It's really not. Ed Koch is a man who I've I've liked at some points in terms of I I have no objection to Ed except for one one thing. He's not a very capable or competent mayor. He's done. He's done a he's done a bad as most of you New Yorkers would probably know, he's done a pretty bad job running New York. That hurts me and it hurts everybody. And when I see somebody that's not competent and he's running something and something that I have a big really a big stake in, it bothers me and I do something about it. Speaker 0: Are you speaking from a position of somebody who has a lot of really, really special interest in the city? Speaker 1: No. It's not a I do have I have a special interest in New York. New York City is a hot city. It's a great city. It's the greatest city in the world according to many, and according you're here, and we're also here. Correct. And I hate to see some of the things happening with New York that have happened under the Koch administration. So I hit him pretty hard in the book, but I hit him fairly in the book. I hit him very fairly. Probably very hard in the book, but very family. Speaker 0: Is is it, kind of a a pointless defense to say that this city is So big that it is actually unmanageable to a certain extent, and he's doing the best he can sort of just tending it day to day? Speaker 1: No. I don't think so. I mean, I hope that's never a defense of anybody. I did the Womens in 4 months for 2,000,000 or 2 and a half $1,000,000. They started 7 years before that and were unable to build it. I think they spent something like $15,000,000. This is Speaker 0: a huge ice skating facility in Central Park, which the city was 7 years. 7 years. 7 years, they could not get it open. Speaker 1: They could not build it. Yeah. We did it in 4 months. So, you know, know, you say, hey, it's big and everything else and give them a little bit more time. But the fact is, that's a disgrace. The zoos are a disgrace. The subways, The schools. It's management. It's competence. It's capability. It's, it's just basic ability, and Ed Koch doesn't have it. Speaker 0: Yeah. But you're speaking again from the over the fence in private enterprise, he's trying to run a municipal administration. It can be done. Speaker 1: You think it could be done? Absolutely. By the right person, it could be done. Speaker 0: Yeah. Any thoughts? I mean, would you wanna be mayor of the city? I wouldn't wanna be mayor. Speaker 1: It'd run very well if I was mayor, but I would not wanna be, The mayor of New York. Speaker 0: Is there something you do want? Speaker 1: No. I just wanna keep doing what I'm doing. I mean, I'm on your show. You're a fantastic show. You're a star in my book. Everyone's talking about it. Speaker 0: I know. We wrote all about David in the big book. Now that's another thing. We came up to you that 1 afternoon completely unannounced. We were in the lobby of the the Trump Tower facility up the road there. And we just called up and said, can we come up and see Don? And they said, come on up. Speaker 1: Absolutely. Speaker 0: Now how busy can you be? But but you were right. Lot of fun, Speaker 1: by the way. Yeah. We're coming up with a lot of fun. Speaker 0: And and I must say, I thought that was very gracious of you to do because, Obviously, you've got a lot better things to do than than goof around with me. You're right. Yeah. And and what about the, are Are people trying to draft you to run for a president up in New Hampshire? Speaker 2: Well, I Speaker 1: guess a lot of people wanna see this country, it's it's a shame what's happening. Japan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, they're all everybody's advantage of the United States. People know that if certain people are running a country, that it won't happen. I mean, when you look at Japan, not paying for the We're defending Japan. We're losing 1,000,000,000 and 1,000,000,000 of dollars. We're fighting for AIDS help and for farmers and for this and that. And it's a shame. And and the Japanese folks who I respect Greatly, but they're not they're not treating us fairly. They're really not treating us fairly. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, they're not paying us anything for the services we're And I think it's a disgrace. And I think people look at certain people and maybe me, if that if I were in a position, this country, believe me, would not be Ripped off like it is. And it it is just being ripped off so badly by our so called allies. Yeah. Speaker 0: So so that that's a pretty, A strong statement. So now are you saying that I Speaker 1: think it's strong. I think it's fair. And by the way, I have tremendous respect for the Japanese. I have tremendous I do a lot of business with the Japanese. And they smile about it too. They know it. The country Losing 1,000,000,000 and 1,000,000,000 of dollars to Japan, and we can't afford to lose. And it's a shame. Speaker 0: But Shona, are are you saying this by way of indicating that could do it better. And you do intend to run for president at the same time? Speaker 1: I'm not gonna run for president, but I I think somebody Now in in Speaker 0: 8 years, if you came back, would you have a different answer? In 4 years. Speaker 1: I tend to doubt it. I really tend to doubt it. But I I just think that there's so many ways that this country can straighten itself out, and we're not going Cutting farm aid is not the appropriate thing. Cutting help for the homeless and help for the poor and welfare. Certain things can be done That really will mean big dollars to this country. And those things are not being done right now. Speaker 0: Let me ask you one other question, because I know you have other appointments and stuff to get to. If you go to dinner and the bill is, like, say, $25, how much of a tip would you throw down? Well, Speaker 1: You know, the way I feel about tips, if somebody does a super job, I give more than anyone. And if somebody does a lousy job, I probably give less than anybody, and that's the way I feel about life. Life should be you should be rewarded for competence and capability in doing a job having a smile on your face maybe if that's the case. And I'm a pretty good tipper if when somebody's good. And I'm a pretty lousy tipper if somebody's not good. So that's the way it is. Speaker 0: But, you know, sitting here listening to this stuff, it seems to me you are dying to get to some public platform to superimpose those feelings upon the American awareness. Speaker 1: Well, maybe, maybe so, but I'm not. I I would like to have the feelings known and let somebody else do. And it can be done. If it's if it's carried, if the ball's carried correctly, it can be done. Speaker 0: Yeah. But if you want something done right. Speaker 1: Do it, you said. Speaker 0: Here's, the book.
