For those unfamiliar with American history, my nation (Lakota) was still resisting colonization in the late 1800s. My grandpa’s grandpa fought in the Battle of the Little Bighorn. My grandma’s father remembered Wounded Knee. My grandparents weren’t born American citizens. 1/

Children born on US soil to foreign citizen parents are not eligible to be US president. The Constitution distinguishes between being a citizen and a natural born citizen. The 14th amendment grants citizenship to those born or naturalized in the US, but it doesn't confer natural born citizenship. The allegiance of the parents at the time of the child's birth determines their citizenship status. The founders feared foreign influence in the executive branch. This issue must be clarified to protect our Constitutional Republic.

@GOP_is_Gutless - They are all corrupt

Children born on US soil to foreign citizen parents, are not eligible to be the US president. Much confusion lies on this subject and we have got to get this straightened out or we are going to lose our Constitutional Republic due to foreign influences. Foreign influence into the executive branch was what the founders of this country feared the most. Article II, Section 1 Clause 5 reads: "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President. As you can see the constitution makes a legal distinction between being a citizen, and being a natural born citizen and the only time a citizen can be President is if they lived in the 18th or 19th centuries. The 14th amendment states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are CITIZENS of the United States and the State wherein they reside." The citizenship clause of the 14th amendment was put there to give citizenship to the newly freed black slaves. Does anyone think those newly freed black slaves were to be considered natural born citizens and eligible to be president? The factor that determines whether one is merely a 14th amendment citizen, or a US natural born citizen, is what was the legal ALLEGIANCE of the PARENTS, the instant the child was born. Ohio Representative and author of the 14th Amendment, John Armor Bingham, stated: “I find no fault with the introductory clause, which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States, OF PARENTS NOT OWING ALLEGIANCE TO ANY FOREIGN SOVEREIGNTY, is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen. Here’s a quick hypothetical. If Osama bin Laden hadn’t been killed, and instead brought back to New York City to stand trial for his crimes, and his pregnant wife came to observe the trial, and gave birth to a child while she was here according to Anchor Babies, Kamala Harris, Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy, Osama’s new baby would be eligible to be president. You can replace Osama’s name with El Chapo or King George III, it doesn’t matter because it’s pure insanity!

Kamala Harris- Why She Is Not A Legal Citizen

@Prolotario1 - Ariel

Read this carefully. Every non-US parent of a baby born in the U.S. has natural citizenship rights for himself and his child based upon the citizenship laws of his home country. Those rights cannot be usurped just because a citizen is a student in America. https://t.co/pgoWNPpIff

Judge Joe Brown Exposes That Barack Obama Is Not A United States Citizen. He Personally Called The Department of Vital Statistics. Obama’s Mother Wasn’t American, She Was A Citizen Of Canada “Uh, you can run for president. But now here's the problem. Uh, Obama released a birth certificate when he was enrolled in college and it lists on there the room number, the phone number of the pediatrician who did the, uh, delivery and noted his mother was 18 years, three months, which meant she got knocked up at 17 and she was a citizen of Canada.” “And it lists all of the details. The phone numbers were working one, so that's one birth certificate” This video continues on with some more good info.

The kid of a Mexican diplomat who is in this country *legally* doesn’t enjoy birthright citizenship. Well, neither does the kid of an *illegal* alien either. The speaker states that they would end birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants. They clarify that this would only apply from January 20, 2025 onwards, as there is a legal concept called reliance interest that prevents retroactive changes. They argue that the 14th Amendment supports their stance, as it states that birthright citizenship applies only to those subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. They compare the situation to the children of legal Mexican diplomats, who also do not receive birthright citizenship. They believe that the Supreme Court would agree with their interpretation and emphasize the importance of understanding the constitution.

There are currently millions of such people, children, some of them some of them adults. Would you retroactively strip them Speaker 1: Great question, Abby. So I'm glad you asked Prospectively. So January 20, 2025 forward. There is a concept in the law known as a reliance interest. If you've relied on the government. We're not gonna be able to retroactively date that. But from January 20, 2025 going forward, if I'm the president, if you're born in this country as the kid of an illegal immigrant, you will not enjoy birthright citizenship. And that's what the 14th Amendment says. It says it only applies subject to in the jurisdiction thereof. That's in the opening section of the 14th Amendment when it talks about birthright citizenship. So in the same way, and I want people to understand this because some people call this traversal view. I don't think it needs to be. The kid of a Mexican diplomat who's here legally and he's born in the United States, that person doesn't enjoy birth in Birthright citizenship. Nobody contests that. Well, if the kid of a Mexican diplomat who's here legally does not enjoy birthright citizenship, Neither does or should the kid of a Mexican or Venezuelan migrant who's here illegally. And there's been case law on this at the appellate At court level, the one case that's been ruled agrees with me on this. I believe the current Supreme Court agrees with me 6 to 3 on this. All we need is a president with a spine who, I go back to that Question, Abby. Understands the constitution. If I'm gonna swear notes to the constitution, I better darn well have read it. Ted Cruz's father, Rafael Cruz, once spoke in favor of Fidel Castro but later protested against the United States harboring Batista government criminals. The controversy surrounding Ted Cruz's eligibility to be a presidential candidate due to his Canadian birthplace was fueled by claims that his father's Cuban heritage made him ineligible. However, Ted Cruz's mother's American citizenship allowed him to be a natural-born citizen.

I thought he was the country’s salvation.” Ben-Meir and Kaczynski revealed that, the day after Castro entered Havana, January 8, 1959, Cruz Sr. told the student newspaper Daily Texan that: “Castro is an educated man, with no ambitions of power.” On that occasion, he took the opportunity to speak against supporters of Batista and those who called Castro a communist. There were 15 Cuban-born students enrolled at the University of Texas and six took to the streets with two banners and Cuban and 26th of July Movement flags, to protest against the United States’ decision to harbor “Batista government criminals.” Rafael Cruz was carrying a banner that read: “Batista’s gang have paved their way into the U.S. with Cuban bodies. Let the innocent fear not. Let the guilty face their victims, signed by the 26th of July Movement,” as can be seen in the photo that accompanies this article.” “The constitutional clause which requires candidates to be US citizens by birth prompted a rather insipid controversy, fueled by claims that Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada, is not a legitimate candidate. His father is Cuban and became a naturalized American in 2005, but his mother was born in Delaware and, even though she gave birth to him outside the United States, passed on her citizenship to Ted, who did not require a naturalization process and can aspire to the presidency, as George Wilcken Romney, who was born in Mexico, or John McCain, who was born in the Panama Canal Zone, were able to do.” https://havanatimes.org/features/fidel-castro-and-the-father-of-us-presidential-candidate-ted-cruz/

@JoeyMannarinoUS - Joey Mannarino

To get my wife her green card to be able to live with me in America, it cost around $10,000 in total. If she had decided to come as an illegal and just cross the border, she’d have been given a $5,000 visa gift card, accommodations in a New York City hotel and a $2,200 a month benefit. So, in about 3 months we’d have MADE $10,000 from her being here illegally rather than losing $10,000 to get her a legal green card. Does anyone realize how messed up that all is?

Logical rebuttals to the points raised below about US election integrity are welcome. This is a debate worth having.

@StephenM - Stephen Miller

Surely you cannot be this obtuse. I hope your ignorance is feigned and not sincere. In all 50 states in America — as a result of preposterous judicial rulings — illegal aliens and millions of other ineligible noncitizens — can register to vote merely by checking a box on a federal form declaring that they are citizens. This attestation is not validated or verified in any way prior to voting, nor inspected or checked in any way subsequent to voting. It functions entirely on the honor system. We are expecting the same people who dishonored our sovereign border to honor the integrity of a piece of paper. In other words, we are to believe that millions of people who have collectively violated the law millions of times (illegal entry, smuggling, harboring, illegal overstay, social security fraud, identity theft, illegal work, failure to pay taxes, etc.) will not check a mere box on a form because that too is illegal! (Knowing full well their assertion will be accepted without any further scrutiny whatsoever). We are truly the first society in all history with a completely open border combined with no citizenship verification for voting. (Not to mention the ability to vote remotely via mail or drop box for weeks at a time or, in several states, third party collection of mail ballots). Can you honestly defend such a system? You know full well these gaping vulnerabilities are all by design: hence the virulent opposition by progressives to any form of election integrity (and ruthless targeting of election integrity advocates).

My Dad was born in a concentration camp during WWII. My grandparents immigrated to Canada, facing challenges and working hard to build a life. My Dad supported the family from a young age. He feels frustrated with the current state of the country and believes that some immigrants are ungrateful. I will continue to speak out about this issue and honor my father's hard work.

@LayThemBare - Mark - "Bocij Consulting"

My Dad was born in a concentration camp in Europe at the end of WWII. My grand mother had to hide her pregnancy from the Nazi guards, so she secretly made a loose fitting dress over two weeks in the middle of the night sewing by hand in the washroom in the pitch black... The concentration camp was liberated by Canadian soldiers, and my grand parents were so well treated by our soldiers that they chose to leave Europe as war refugees, and immigrate to Canada when my Dad was only a few years old When they landed in Canada, the Quebec government forced them to change their last name to make it anglicized. They were processed and sent on their way... They did NOT receive any hand-outs, any money, any gifts or anything at all... They were told they needed to find work and housing within 1 month, or they would be separated and placed, or sent back Once again, left to fend for themselves in a brand new country, they didn't demand special treatment, or special rights... They just put their heads down, found work and a place to live in the slums, and got going on adapting to Canadian customs and language... My grand mother cleaned toilets for rich Quebecers, and my grand father made/repaired suits for rich Quebecers... By the time my father was 12, he had a full-time job at night and went to school during the day... My Dad became the family's main source of income by 15. He supported his older brother and his parents, and still maintained his school work and grades He bought the family's first car, first radio, first TV and first tiny home... all before he was 17... He paid into the Canadian tax coffers from 12 years old to the present day... He takes great offence to the current segment of "immigrants"... He sees them as ungrateful leaches and abusers of the kindness and hard work of past immigrants in Canada... He has every right to be angry and depressed with the current state of this country He hates our "leading class" and our political class... as they take advantage of what he helped build with his blood sweat and tears... The current class of "immigrants" are destroying what he and others like him built from the ground up... I see how angry and sad he is to watch what he built be destroyed, and I try my hardest to do something to prevent the further decline of this country, due to ungrateful and abusive "immigrants" ... I will never apologize for telling the truth about what is happening today... Canada isn't a country of "today's immigrants", but it is a country of Canadians who were once grateful and blessed immigrants to have come to this wonderful land... Anyone who tries to insult me and call me names for pointing out the truth about the current class of "immigrants"... can truly F_CK OFF... I won't stand down or stop talking about it... This country is being invaded and we are being replaced... F_CK YOU if you don't like what I am saying... You should be thanking my Dad and people like him who made Canada a great place to live... well, until recently anyways... I will die protecting what my father built... and nothing will silence my voice and the truth about what is happening today... If you have a problem with me or with my Dad, you won't like what happens next... I won't stop until I've reset this country back to the way it was, the way my Dad built it... Its a fight of life or death... and I will die, but on my feet, if it ever comes to that... which I hope it never ever does....... Its time others start talking about this... Its time we honour our parents and their hard work... No more hiding in the corner and hoping it goes away... #FightLikeItsYourFamilysDuty #CauseItIs #ThankYouDad #ILoveYou

Just got off the phone with the Michigan Secretary of State’s office. They told me they can’t require proof of citizenship for voting because it disenfranchises Americans who can’t provide proof of citizenship. More to come…

I became a US citizen a month ago after dreaming of America since I was 13. It took me 11 years and six visas to achieve this, during which I worked hard, paid my taxes, and never missed a rent payment. I always aimed to prove my worthiness to live here. Holding my passport now feels surreal, as I once admired my friends' passports, wishing for my own. I never sought government support and respect the journey of legal immigrants. It pains me to see how some can now easily obtain citizenship, making me question the value of my hard work.

@theannasherman - Anna Sherman

Many people born in the US don’t understand what America means to some people. I became an American citizen a month ago, and I want to share my story. I dreamed about America since I was 13 years old; I thought it was the best country in the whole world, and it was my biggest dream to live here. I moved to the US when I was 17. It took me 11 years to become a US citizen. I had to get six visas one after another, and every time, I had to explain and prove that I deserved it. I was so scared that I might not be worthy of a green card, and I cried when I was finally approved. In those 11 years, I never missed a rent payment or got a ticket because I really wanted to show that I was worthy of living here. Every single day, I aimed to be the best version of myself to live in what I saw as the best country. I spent over a million dollars on rent, my car, and daily living expenses. I always paid my taxes, and I worked incredibly hard to get to this point. Becoming a US citizen is one of my biggest achievements in life. I would look at the American passports of my friends and think, “What a beautiful passport,” admiring every page, every detail. I would hold it in my hand, wishing and dreaming that one day I would open that little book and see my own photo inside. I still can’t believe it when I open my passport now and see my face. It feels too good to be true. My whole point is that I never received any benefits or government support; I never wanted to take advantage of this country. I worked hard and was always grateful to live here. I support every legal immigrant who has gone through the same journey and made the hard choice to leave everything behind to start a new chapter for a better future. It breaks my heart to see how some people now can just walk in and get a passport. Does this mean that all my hard work was for nothing?

Riley Gaines husband who applied for citizenship 2 1/2 ago, has been asked by Immigrations to provide proof of having the COVID vax before he’s issued a green card. Those coming in illegally are not required to have ANY vaxes. Make it make sense!! 🤬 Not to mention it’s poison ☠️ https://t.co/c1HnXWbzr1

My husband moved to the U.S. from Europe six years ago for college, and we married in 2022. Despite being married for over two and a half years, he still doesn't have his green card. The immigration process has been lengthy and complicated, requiring numerous applications and fees. Recently, we received a request for evidence from USCIS, specifically for a completed vaccination record, which he lacks due to not having the COVID vaccine. It's frustrating that legal immigrants face such hurdles, while illegal immigrants receive benefits without the same requirements. Despite these challenges, my husband would choose this path again. Ultimately, health is more important than a green card, and he will become a citizen when this situation resolves.

Speaker 0: So my husband moved to the United States from Europe 6 years ago for college. He came here legally. We were both swimmers at the University of Kentucky. We got married at the end of my senior year in 2022, meaning we've been married for over two and a half years now. Maybe you think he's well on his way to becoming a US citizen, and you would be wrong. After two and a half years of marriage, he still doesn't even have his green card. If you haven't dealt with this process, I envy you. It requires so much in terms of application process, immigration lawyers, fees that you have to pay. Months months months went by before we heard from USCIS or Immigration Services until finally we got this letter in the mail. I'm not going to include the whole letter because it contains personal information, but, we got a request for evidence. The evidence that immigration was looking for was a completed vaccination record. And what vaccination did my husband not have? The COVID vaccination. Yes. You heard that right. In the year 2024, you have to have the under researched, ineffective COVID vaccine to enter into this country legally. Notice I said legally because our government does not require illegal immigrants to have the COVID vaccine. Like, really think about that. Think about how hard our government has made it for people migrating into this country legally in comparison with those who break the law. Because if you just walk across the southern border, you're given housing, you're given a driver's license, you're given money, and our government has never been able to answer basic questions about COVID and the vaccine. Like, if the mask work, why do we have to social distance? And if the 6 foot distance works, then why do we have to wear mask? And if both of those things work, then why the lockdowns? And if all three of those work, then why the vaccine? And if the vaccine was effective, then why the boosters? And why was COVID never bad enough to shut the southern border? But honestly, even still, it's a decision my husband would make 10 days out of 10. What good is a green card with compromised health? When this craziness inevitably ends, because it will, my husband will become a citizen and have a functioning immune system. So it's a win win.

The posts discuss the historical and demographic foundations of the United States, emphasizing its origins as a predominantly White, Christian nation shaped by European values and systems. I reflect on the impact of the 1965 Hart-Celler Act, which I believe altered America's ethnic makeup and imposed multiculturalism against the will of its citizens. I argue that America is not a "Nation of Immigrants," but rather a land built by settlers and pioneers. I also critique Ronald Reagan's role in reshaping American identity and values, suggesting that his policies contributed to the ongoing demographic transformation.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🇺🇸The US was founded & built by people filtered through these criteria & forces: -White racial genetics -Christian values/beliefs -European systems/conventions -Independent, risk-taking, frontier-minded, pioneer-spirit capability Although America is White, it is more than that.

@Gentilenewsnet - Gentile News Network™

America is a White country

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵2/ Founding Population & Growth: Citizens White Protestants: ~2.45 million White Catholics: ~47.5k ~2,000 jews (700k non-citizen slaves) By 1865, America was ~88% White/10% Black. In 1965, it was 89.5% White, still only around 9-10% Black. 93% Christian.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵3/ In 1965, America was a White European Christian mono-culture. A White Christian ethnostate w/a 1-time special carve-out for Blacks--who were largely also Christian. America was 90/10 bi-racial, but it wasn't multicultural in any significant sense at the national level.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵4/ America was altered by the 1965 Hart-Celler Immigration & Naturalization Act which opened its borders to non-Whites/non-Christians. In fact, Congress & America were assured that the Act wouldn't alter the ethnic makeup of the country or produce massive immigrant waves. LIES.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵5/ Until 1965, the US was a stable ethnostate w/a small Black exception. We fought a war, passed an Amendment & decided as a nation to make Blacks citizens. But this didn't transform the fabric of America. America NEVER chose multiculturalism. It was imposed w/o our will.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵6/ America is NOT a "Nation Of Immigrants." When the ✡️ ADL paid JFK to write this in 1958 to sell the open borders propaganda, only about 20% of the American population descended from post-1860 "immigrants." This book, like the above statements from his 2 brothers, was a LIE.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵7/ If you say everyone who came to America after 1790 was an "immigrant," then only about 30% of the population in 1960 was descended from immigrants. If you use 1890 as the cutoff (which is when the Census Bureau declared the frontier closed), then it's only 10% immigrant.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵8/ American Revolutionary, Founding, & Constitutional principles & thought are profoundly Christian & European. In 3,154 citations from the political literature of the Era, 34% come directly from the Bible, principally the New Testament. 60% come from various European sources.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵9/ LIE: "All we need is the Constitution" Liberia is descended from former American slaves who spoke English & adopted an identical constitution. It's 85% Christian. It suffered over a century of political strife. In 2019, it was ranked 178 in per capita GDP in the world.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵10/ "All that matters is if someone is White." As @NickJFuentes has observed, "'White Nationalism'...is not a sufficient organizing principle." https://t.me/nickjfuentes/12875

Nicholas J. Fuentes The problem with ideological “White Nationalism” is that race is not a sufficient organizing principle. There is this weird egalitarian sentiment I hear from true WN’s that says something like— “we can resolve all differences between genders, ideologies, religions, classes etc AFTER we secure a White ethnostate.” Alt Hype even argued that gays shouldn’t be criticized. Which seems to imply that until then, the WN political community is going to be a gay, Jewish, liberal, feminist, pluralistic, race commune? Pass. t.me

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵11/ Portland, Seattle, San Francisco: "Most Godless cities in America," and basically the only places where White people vote Blue & are majority liberal, with Leftist nutjobs aplenty. White Americans need the moderating influence of Christianity. https://t.co/hMSO3AwtLw

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵12/ For millenia, Europe was plagued by interethnic conflict over the 3 Rs: -Rulership -Religion -Resources America resolved all 3: -Rulership: The people, in a Republic. -Which (Christian) religion? 1st Amendment freedom. -Resources: an entire continent; plenty for everyone.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵13/ The differences between the different European ethnicities & cultures in America needed time to mix, melt & blend--along with the different flavors of Christianity. Each US State even has its own subculture, forged after 100+ years of unique development.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵14/ But by 1965, most of the European-origin inter-ethnic/religious quarrels had ended. America was One Nation Under God. It's no coincidence that we were reaching for the stars in the Golden Age of the Space Race--only a generation or 2 removed from the frontier.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵15/ But that's when it all started crashing down. But not because the crash was inevitable, but because an enemy came and overthrew it. But that will be the topic of another thread. Follow both my accounts so as to not miss it: @SamParkerSenate & @BasedSamParker.

@SamParkerSenate - Sam Parker 🇺🇲

🧵16/ Learn how Ronald Reagan helped reprogram American thinking to believe some of these lies about ourselves and our history (2 posts in the 🧵 below): https://t.co/IHAtChtAKm

@BasedSamParker - Sam Parker 🇺🇸🧯

🧵1/ PRESIDENTS DAY--Ronald Reagan's Greatest Damage To America: "Anyone from any corner of the world can come live here and become an American." The Reagan administration tripled the national debt, gave immunity to vaccine manufacturers, passed an automatic weapons ban, presided over the Iran-Contra scandal, and gave amnesty to 2.7 million illegals. But, while all of these things are varying degrees of bad, none of them actually caused irreparable or irreversible harm to the country. And, in hindsight, they kind of pale in comparison to many things that have happened since then. What was his greatest sin, then? It's actually something far more damaging and insidious than amnesty: it was the attitude and value system he sold subsequent to the amnesty--an attitude and value system that has destroyed our national conscience and self-identity. It transformed how we thought of America, and what it means to be an American. And it's this attitude that has rolled out the red carpet for the fundamental transformation of America. Listen to him invoke the now-clichéd "Statue of Liberty" vision of immigration. Watch him use the "threat" of global communism as an excuse to open America up as a "place of refuge" for all peoples of the world. Hear him paint a picture of a multicultural America. Watch how he sells the ideas of "freedom" and "liberty" as the fundamental defining aspects and organizing principles of what it means to be an American. This was Reagan's greatest sin: he convinced Americans that America was just a set of ideas and that anyone from anywhere in the world can come live here and become an American. This was a radical departure from hundreds of years of established American thought about our identity and heritage. Reagan used his "Great Communicator" skills to sell to America this wholly new vision of America. He transformed--in the hearts of minds of Americans--"what" America is, and "who" Americans even are. And it is this new generic non-identity that has disarmed the ability of Americans to resist the mass waves of immigration into America, the transformation of the American demographic, the destruction of the founding demographic, and the replacement of American workers with foreign labor. It solidified in the minds of Americans the lie that we are a multicultural, multiracial country--and that we were never anything else. And that to oppose immigration in any way other than whether it's "legal or illegal" is racist, xenophobic, hateful and un-American. Americans are powerless to stop the destructive transformation of America because they no longer believe in the founding narrative and identity of America. They believe a lie. And now America is becoming that lie.

Speaker 0: You can hear it in the prayers from every church, synagogue, temple, and mosque in our land. Yes. One nation under God, indivisible, all in the name of glorious freedom. You know, some years ago, two friends of mine were talking with a Cuban refugee who had escaped from Castro. In the midst of the tale of horrible experiences, one friend turned to the other and said, we don't know how lucky we are. And the Cuban stopped and said, how lucky you are. I had some place to escape to. Well, let's keep it that way. How sacred is our trust, we to whom God has given the custody of the name and the song of freedom. America represents something universal in the human spirit. I received a letter not long ago from a man who said, you can go to Japan to live, but you cannot become Japanese. You can go to France, and you live and not become a Frenchman. You can go to live in Germany or Turkey, you won't become a German or a Turk. But then he added, anybody from any corner of the world can come to America to live and become an American. And since this is the last speech that I will give as president, I think it's fitting to leave one final thought, an observation about a country which I love. It was stated best in a letter I received not long ago. A man wrote me and said, you can go to live in France, but you cannot become a Frenchman. You can go to live in Germany or Turkey or Japan, but you cannot become a German, a Turk, or Japanese. But anyone from any corner of the of the earth can come to live in America and become an American. Yes. The torch of Lady Liberty symbolizes our freedom and represents our heritage, the compact with our parents, our grandparents, and our ancestors. It is that lady who gives us our great and special place in the world, for it's the great life force of each generation of new Americans that guarantees that America's triumph shall continue unsurpassed into the next century and beyond. Other countries may seek to compete with us, but in one vital area, as a beacon of freedom and opportunity that draws the people of the world, no country on earth comes close. This, I believe, is one of the most important sources of America's greatness. We lead the world because unique among nations, we draw our people, our strength, from every country and every corner of the world. And by doing so, we continuously renew and enrich our nation. While other countries cling to the stale past, here in America, we breathe life into dreams, we create the future, and the world follows us into tomorrow. Thanks to each wave of new arrivals to this land of opportunity, we're a nation forever young, forever bursting with energy and new ideas, and always on the cutting edge, always leading the world to the next frontier. This quality is vital to our future as a nation. If we ever closed the door to new Americans, our leadership in the world would soon be lost. Our objective is only to establish a reasonable, fair, orderly, and secure system of immigration into this country and not to discriminate in any way against particular nations or people. Future generations of Americans will be thankful for our efforts to humanely regain control of our borders and thereby preserve the value of one of the most sacred possessions of our people, American citizenship. So now I'll get on with the signing and make this into law. Hope nothing happens to me between here and the table.

🧵17/ Debunking & clarifying Reagan's role in fundamentally transforming America: https://t.co/z9cHukwPf9

@BasedSamParker - Sam Parker 🇺🇸🧯

🇺🇸PRESIDENTS DAY: Did Ronald Reagan's amnesty of 1986/87 ruin California and transform the country from Red to Blue; White to brown? So goes the conventional wisdom from the Dissident Right. But is it true? Let's take a look: 1⃣ First, the population of the US in 1986 was 240 million, and amnesty was granted to about 2.7 million--or 1.1%--which is roughly the same number of people as came into the country through open borders in one year under Joe Biden & Alejandro Mayorkas. About 1 million illegals were granted amnesty in California, out of a statewide population of 24.5 million--or about 3.7%. Not nothing, but not a massive leap, either. For perspective, about 450,000 illegals in Texas received the amnesty out of a statewide population of 15.8 million--or about 2.8%. Texas is still going Red all these years later (although the margins of victory seem to be waning). But nobody says the amnesty turned Texas Blue. 2⃣ Second, California didn't turn Red initially. In 1988, George Bush & the GOP won California. In 1994, Prop 187--the citizen referedum to deny government services to illegals--won handily and helped sweep Republican Pete Wilson into the governor's office. However, in 1992 California did go for the Democrat Bill Clinton--but on a plurality of the vote, not an absolute majority. That was the year H. Ross Perot played spoiler to George Bush's re-election bid. California likely would have gone to Bush in 1992 otherwise. 3⃣ Third, the demographic transformation of California was well underway before Reagan won the Presidency, and it continued unabated after he left. The White European population of America was 79.5% in 1981 when Reagan took office. It was about 76.5% when he left office in 1989. What seems clear is that short of strong measures to stop and/or reverse the demographic transformation, California was destined to turn Blue sooner or later (and this is, in fact, the Democrat strategy everywhere: dump non-Whites everywhere it can to tranform the electorate into voting Dem). Obviously, the amnesty accelerated the timeline, but in and of itself didn't cause the paradigm shift. Actual Causes: The initial cause was the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965 which opened America to all nations of the world, particularly Mexico and other Central American countries in close proximity. This began the decline of the White demographic of the country in general, and California in particular. Had Prop 187 not been overturned by an activist ✡️ judge, California might well have remained Red and even reversed its demographic transformation. Had congress and the federal government upheld its end of the bargain with respect to the '86 amnesty, the demographic transformation would have been slowed, and maybe even stopped or reversed. Was any of that Reagan's fault? No. Was it Reagan's fault that 22-65 million illegals would take up permanent residence in the US over the next 35 years? No. Congress was supposed to stop that after the amnesty. Was it Reagan's fault that 35 million legal immigrants were allowed in over those same 35 years? No. Also not Reagan's fault. Conclusion: It doesn't look like the amnesty of 1986 is what ruined California or transformed the country. It was an accelerant to be sure, but had it occured in isolation--as a one-time event--it wouldn't have been catastrophic and the country probably could have recovered just fine. However, that's not what happened, so Reagan--being the first mover in an ongoing problem--takes a large brunt of the blame with his amnesty. Discussion: That's not to say Reagan was guiltless, though. Far from it. Even though his amnesty wasn't as damaging as is first thought, he inflicted heavy damage to our demographics in a much more insidious and far-reaching way. And that's the topic of the video and post quoted below.

🧵18/ The difference between an "immigrant" and a colonizer/settler/pioneer/founder. You must understand this in order to understand why America is not a "Nation Of Immigrants." https://t.co/JndfD7Ko3g

@BasedSamParker - Sam Parker 🇺🇸🧯

🇺🇸 When Elon Musk establishes the first Mars colony--will we call them "immigrants?" I mean, they came from somewhere else, right? Of course we won't. We'll call them explorers & colonizers. The Plymouth & Jamestown colonies weren't "immigrants," either, in any modern sense of the term. (I descend from 2 Mayflower settlers, myself). The American frontier wasn't closed until 1890. A vast portion of those early (proto) Americans of the 17th, 18th & 19th centuries can't properly be called "immigrants"--rather settlers, colonizers & pioneers. Founders. One of my great, great, great grandmothers came across the Atlantic on a boat to New Orleans and traveled up the Mississippi to St. Louis where her parents died from disease. She pushed westward on her own to the Utah territory where she got married at 17 to another pioneer man who'd traveled from Illinois. She died at 28, 2 months after giving birth to her 6th child--my great great grandmother. These people didn't arrive on our shores with free housing, food, healthcare, schools & full civilizational services. They were not "immigrants." America was not built by immigration. It was built by risk-taking, frontier-minded, pioneering White Christian European colonizers & settlers. Just because someone came from somewhere else doesn't make them an "immigrant." I'm not an immigrant. And my ancestors weren't immigrants. They were founding Americans who carved a great civilization out of a harsh wilderness. It's time to dispense with this retarded, weaponized post-1960 propaganda used to justify invading & replacing us.

I can travel to Italy, France, Germany, China, or Japan, yet I’ll never become them. But if I come from any of those countries to the United States, I can become American—as long as I work hard, follow the rules, contribute, wait my turn, pledge allegiance, and obtain citizenship.

You can travel to Italy, but you’ll never be an Italian. You can travel to France but you’ll never be a Frenchman. You can live in Germany but you’ll never be a German. You can pack your bags and live the rest of your life in China or Japan, but you’ll never be Chinese or Japanese. Yet you can come from any one of those countries to the United States of America, and you can still be an American – so long as you work hard, you play by the rules, you make your contributions, wait your turn, pledge allegiance to the flag, and obtain your citizenship.
