Speaker 0: What is it about a 5 year old getting fucked that turned you on? Got some messages from Grindr last night. I think we should probably go over. Alright? Obviously, the issue is bigger than some bullshit fake profile that was messaging you yesterday. Your telegram is called boy lover. Yeah. I'll delete that. Do you want me to do it in front of you? We'll get to that. Just hold on. If you had to guess, what would you think is the youngest currently sitting in your chats? Only infant because that's what people do. Infants. So you're not requesting it? I have maybe requested videos. Yes. Okay. You need to really say, man. What is it about a 5 year old getting fucked that turned you on? I need to know. Okay. I understand. Oh, Jesus Christ. I bet it's a neighbor. I got you. Don't worry about it. Are you sure? Mhmm. Your shirt, dude. Yeah. Your shirt, dude. Get the car. Dude, your shirt. Yeah. Yeah. What are we doing? I I think it's some aunt your aunt that called. Hello. Hi. There's just kind of a situation here. You know, he he got arrested for child porn last year. He was in middle school he kinda relapsed. Is some child porn on his phone, but you said you would get rid of the child porn. Right? Okay. And, sir, explain to me how you guys got this. I know that he got busted for child porn last Here. His telegram account's called boys lover. So we came to his house, interviewed him, and he told us, and you, in front of you, on your body camera, that there is child porn on his phone right now, and I believe that's probably probable cause. So I'm I'm walking to my car. Ma'am, I just hope he doesn't delete his phone. Thank you. She got his phone? Okay. We win. 27 year old Mark Mallow Charged with possession of child pornography and violation of bond.

Speaker 0: Alright. Thank you. Hello? Speaker 1: Hi. Is this, Chris? Speaker 0: Yeah. Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm supposed to deliver something to 3 Apartment 385 at 1450, Kingswood. I'm trying to knock on the door. I know it's late. But, are you, like, coming to sign for it? Speaker 0: Yeah. I'll be right on the couch. Speaker 1: Thanks. Bye. How's it going? Good. Hi. Sorry to bother you at this time. My name is Gordon. Speaker 0: Nice to meet you. Hello, Chris. Hi. Speaker 1: It's about some messages to Becca we should probably go over. Is your wife here right now? Speaker 0: It was a long time ago. She was talking to me. Speaker 1: Oh, yeah? Speaker 0: I just told her recently I got married. Speaker 1: Yeah. No. I'm fully aware, but it's kinda about the last couple of years we should probably go over. I know you're a middle school janitor. Right? Speaker 0: No. No? I work in a school district. That's all I told her. Speaker 1: Right. Right. Right. That's a Speaker 0: long time Speaker 1: ago. I know. But, you know, we have everything saved. I just kinda wanna go over it with you. I know you're a good dude. I know you do I know you actually care about kids and stuff like that. So I just wanna have a conversation with you about it. Is she asleep right now? Yeah. She's asleep now. Okay. Well, I mean, do you just wanna I mean, I would recommend because the neighbors might overhear some shit. I would I mean, I can't force you to, but I would probably recommend we just talk inside. That's probably the best route here. Speaker 0: Oh, okay. She's up. Yeah. Come on. Speaker 1: Alright. Did you wanna, Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 1: Okay. Got it. I got some people with me for safety. None of us are gonna hurt you, take any money from you, anything like that. Okay. Speaker 0: I just I How's it going? It gets so recorded. That backup person, they've been messaging me for a while. I never knew how old they were. Anything, I guess, they I don't know. Speaker 3: What's going on? Speaker 0: Well, there's She tried to sex with me a long time ago, and this was back when we were barely talking. Yeah. But she's been messaging me recently, and I'm like Speaker 3: The one that's been messaging you, like, once a month saying, hey. What's up? Speaker 1: And then Speaker 3: she never responded. Speaker 1: And then Speaker 0: she never responded. And then I'd let her know I was married. And then, like, all this, and she was, you know, but yeah. Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, you know, ma'am, obviously, it, you know, it it doesn't matter who he talks to online, but Yeah. When it goes to a certain category of person, similar to the person the people that he kinda works around, that could kind of raise, you know, something. Yeah. Like, why why I'd be here? But, you you know Hi, Gordan. My name is Gordan. Nice to meet you. Hi. Speaker 0: Yeah. She told me she was, like, 15, 16. I'm like, you shouldn't be talking to people you don't know, mine, and stuff like that. Speaker 1: So There's a little bit more that was said from both of y'all that There was. I know Speaker 0: I know there were some things exchanged and that I shouldn't have gone down that road, but there were some times when I before I got with her, I was in a dark place. Speaker 1: Right. Right. Right. And You know, Chris, I am Speaker 0: I've tried to stay out of trouble since. Speaker 1: Oh, I Speaker 0: wanna make sure. Like, she's tried to get me to meet up, and I'm like, no. I can't. Like, I'm busy. Speaker 1: Right. No. A a 100%. But, you know, there's stuff said from both of you all and, you know, I I know you're a good dude and know people people can go to dark place on the internet. So that's what I wanna get addressed because, you know, with this literally hundreds of papers we have, you know, I'd rather just get it taken care of with you than, you know, just think the worst. I don't think the worst. You're married and, you know, I know you work your ass off and as your wife does. That's why I like yeah. It it might be a tough conversation. I mean, it is a tough conversation to have. But, you know, I think you have the accountability and honesty and, you know, the fortitude to get over it. And, you know, if I thought you were a bad person, I wouldn't be here talking to you right now. Like, I I think there's a I think there's a big difference between getting a little bit carried away versus, you know, being a malicious person. Yeah. And, you know, I I the reason I'm here is because I think you could've gotten carried away, but we just don't know. Yeah. Speaker 0: I did a while ago. Lately, when she messaged me, I'm like, I'm busy. Right. Like, she was asking me, like, what I'm making for dinner tomorrow. I'm like, it's a roast. Speaker 1: Right. Right. Speaker 0: Stuff like that. And she was just trying trying to give me a meet up with one of her friends. I'm like, you're, like, 15, 16. Yeah. The most I could ever do is, like, give you a ride somewhere, but that's it. Speaker 1: Mhmm. Speaker 0: Like, you know, but but that was ages ago. Speaker 1: How old does she know? Speaker 0: I wanna say she's she told me she's 15, 16 years old. Speaker 1: Okay. And when y'all start talking? Speaker 0: She messaged me through an Speaker 1: app. Okay. Speaker 0: And she she had lied about her age. She said she was 18. Uh-huh. And this is back when I was single. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 0: And I was gonna go meet up with her, and then she, like, no showed. Mhmm. And then later on, she was like, well, I'm like, 13 or 14. I'm like, well, why are you on this app? Right. Kind of thing. Because it's a it was a semi dating app kind of thing. They post Speaker 1: weird stuff on there. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Speaker 0: And so I had a big talk with her about that. And I'm like, you're in high school. You're a freshman. Mhmm. You shouldn't be Okay. You Speaker 1: know. Well and I appreciate that. But, Chris, if if that was the extent of the conversation, do you think I'd be at your door right now? Speaker 0: No. There were things exchanged that shouldn't have been exchanged. Speaker 1: Right. So that's kinda what I wanna go over and, you know, what was your name, ma'am? Shelley. Shelley. Hi. Nice to meet you, Gordon. Is Gordon. And, you Speaker 0: know Okay. Speaker 2: And then you said your name's Gordon, but who are you? Like, are you her dad? Are you a Speaker 1: a relative? It's it's, related in a way. Okay. Yeah. It's more of a family friend type thing. Yeah. I consider her a niece. But, you know, it's, you know, I I don't like to see hard working men go down. Okay. Yeah. Speaker 0: She she mentions this friend, Maddie, that does all this stuff with guys And I told her that that sounds like a bad influence. Sure. Sure. And she keeps saying, you know, oh, Maddie stole her mom's car or has her mom's car tonight. And I'm like, okay. Like what, you know, you both are underage. You shouldn't be driving. Speaker 1: Right. Well, you saying all that can be true while there's also other things that happen that are also true. And, you know, I I, you know, I have some messages to kinda go over and me being that I think you're a hard working dude and the 1st week of marriage, the last place I don't wanna read them is out here. You know, I kept like, I promise you I know I'm a bigger guy, but, you know, I hope you can tell him not. Speaker 2: Video recording. I know. Speaker 1: That's for your that's for and I was just about to go over that. So the reason yeah. Yeah. But the reason for the recording and all of that is because I'm literally kind of I know it's y'all rants, but I'm kind of on y'all's property. I'm a bigger dude, and I want you to be a 100% assured. But basically, I wouldn't record myself asking you for money, trying to beat you up, saying you give me this or do this for me or else I'm gonna do this. Like, none of that's gonna happen. And, and at the end of everything, you know, when we get a resolution here, in which I'm sure the resolution will be a handshake and, you know, if you're as honest as you are now Speaker 0: just gonna delete her phone number and block her. I mean, that's the thing. Sure. It's just like there's so much with that where she just met randomly messages me. Speaker 1: Right. Right. Speaker 0: I have actually a few people off that app that have done that in the past and then they just, like, fizzle out and they'll talk to them or whatever. No. Speaker 1: A 100 percent. A 100%. But, there there was some stuff said that was, that some people might look at and take the wrong way. Which, you know, I'm I'm an open book. Like, I don't I don't judge, especially if you are in a dark place. Like, I understand there's reasons for everything. Right? Like, you know, if there's a dead body at your door, there's a thousand reasons why there could be a dead body at your door. So just like what the message is, like, there could be a thousand reasons why they were said. But with that being said, do you mind if we just kinda go in so the neighbors can't hear? I don't have any I Speaker 0: don't want all them coming in. I just I can't. There's there's not enough space. Speaker 1: Well, they can they can stand at the door or whatever. But for my safety, because I don't know if you have any weapons or anything. Well, here's the thing. Speaker 0: Anything that was said in the past is water under the bridge. I'm blocking her number. I I I mean, I know she's still like 15. The stuff that was said was a while ago. Okay. You know, and that and that's the thing. So Right. Speaker 1: But Speaker 0: I know what's in the log. I don't need to ever repeat it because I know there's things in there that are bad. I mean, I'm glad she has someone looking out for her. I've tried to explain to her it's not, you know, a safe world. Yeah. She's tried to get me to meet up, and I'm like, dude, I'm like 30 something, you know. So that's not Speaker 1: Right. Right. But there's there's kind of, what I'm hearing from you and then there's what was actually said. And, you're not wrong. But, there's also, Shelley and, you know, this is why I kinda wanna just have a conversation with them. You know, we can even have it outside. I mean, I I just don't want the neighbors here because, you know, I care about your privacy and all that stuff. But, you know, it it it's basically, Chris, it's if I were in your shoes right now, I mean, I I would just get this over with and just kind of go over because Speaker 0: I have gotten it over with. I just told you exactly what I mean, anything that was exchanged, I mean, it's all water under the bridge at this point. I mean, you know, I I never planned on meeting up with her. Some of it was she had these, you know, I was a teenager once. I get it. You have teenage fantasies. Yeah. And some of them, I played into. Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 0: You know. And I get that. But and there's things I probably shouldn't have Speaker 1: said. Okay. Okay. Did you ask her to meet up though? Long time ago. Speaker 0: Okay. Like, I told her if she ever had the chance Speaker 1: Mhmm. Speaker 0: Like, when she's 18, it might be good to meet up because I could explain to her what, you know, kind of thing. But I told her I there's no way I can meet her till she's 18. Speaker 1: Okay. Well Speaker 0: That's all I told Speaker 1: her. Okay. Well, I you know, there's quite a few messages. One of them was, you know, my my lady how long have you been dating for, by the way? Speaker 0: We've been dating for a year. We just got married last week. Speaker 1: Oh, congrats. But one of them was, my ladies at the Spurs game. Can you and Maddie come over? Speaker 2: That's not you. Speaker 0: That's not me. I don't Spurs. Speaker 1: Oh, Spurs. Sorry. Kings. That was ages ago. Uh-huh. Speaker 0: I mean, that was months ago. I don't I didn't get to go to the Kings Day. That was with Connor last year. What time? I don't Speaker 1: know. Okay. So you've gone to a few basketball games? Yeah. I've seen it. Okay. So he so he invited these 2 13 year olds over when you were Speaker 0: He never came over. Speaker 1: And I Okay. But, Chris, let me stop you right there. How did we get your address then? Speaker 0: It's probably in the log. I told her because I wanted to have a talk with her. Well, if she did come, I was gonna say, look. This is not good. Okay. You shouldn't be taking someone's car and driving. Okay. I had no intention of actually meeting her. I put the ball in her court because that means she would've had to get her friend to drive her. They're both 13. They're underage. I was just gonna have to talk with them and just be like, this kind of thing can't happen. Speaker 1: Where are you gonna have to talk with them? Speaker 2: Right out here. Speaker 1: Oh, right out here? Yeah. Okay. So Pat is planning on meeting them. But did did you say you were gonna have a talk or did you say something else was gonna happen? Speaker 0: Well, I was playing into what she was insinuating. Speaker 1: Okay. So Speaker 0: I know. Speaker 1: Yeah. Shelly, Shelly, Shelly, I think it's probably there's obviously a lot to unpack here, and it's probably best we just talk to Chris, get it over with. And, Shelly, if you wanna be around for a tweet, it's totally your choice, but I just came here to talk to her. Speaker 0: I was being stupid and insinuating a text messages with Right. Someone who's I guess she's 13. She told me she was 15 to 16 originally. She told me she was 18. I don't know Speaker 1: if what happened. The 18th thing at first. Yeah. Absolutely. Speaker 0: Yeah. The 18th thing at first. Speaker 1: Yes. Absolutely. But, I think it's been over 2 years at this point that you knew she was not 18. So, I mean, if we're talking Speaker 0: Well, she's been talking to me on and off. Right. Right. Right. Right. And that's the thing. It's like, I know, like, she was going through school, all this stuff. Right. Like, I was just like, you know and that for a while, I was like, why do you keep messaging me? Speaker 1: Me? Okay. Speaker 0: And I never said it. I should've. Uh-huh. But it was that whole thing of, well, maybe she needs an outlet. Maybe she just needs someone to talk to. A 100%. Because I I I went through that as a teenager where it was like I sometimes I just needed someone to talk to that I didn't really know. Speaker 1: Right. Right. Right. Right. Speaker 0: Just to vent to. No. No. And then And explore things that ramble through my head. Speaker 1: Right. Right. Speaker 0: You know? So and and I shouldn't have Speaker 1: No. It is. And if I thought you were malicious, I, of course, wouldn't be at your door right now. But, you know, like I said, when we're talking carried away, there's levels of that too. And I think that getting carried away was, pretty pretty carried away, I'd say. At one point, yeah. Speaker 0: Okay. Lately, no. Speaker 1: Okay. So there was a so when you say lately now, like, they're they're 15, 16 now. But when you talk about a long time ago, you're talking when they were 13, 14. I'm just letting Speaker 0: you know. Yes. I know when she was 13, 14, we have, you know, and I was in a dark place because that was 2 years ago. Speaker 1: Right. I Speaker 0: was going through a nasty divorce, and I was at the point where it's like, whatever. Just I'm just talking to somebody. Speaker 1: Mhmm. But this is when you were dating her. No. Okay. So was it was it a different king was it a different lady at the Kings Landing? Speaker 0: No. That no. That must have been someone else I was seeing. Speaker 1: Oh, so Speaker 0: because I before I got I've been with her for about a year. I got married last year. Before that, I was dating him. Ma'am, have you ma'am, have you hold on. Speaker 1: Ma'am, have you gone to Kings games with when he's just kinda been at home? Speaker 0: Once in, like, the last year. Speaker 1: And you mentioned last year. Okay. And you mentioned once in the last year that your lady's at the Kings game right now, then you gave your address that said Speaker 0: I don't remember if that was a a year ago. I I just I don't remember. Speaker 1: It it was it was some time ago. It wasn't this year. But, you know, there's talk about, you know, having sex with both Maddie and Becca. Speaker 0: Well, they were both gonna come over as a way to get them over to talk to them. I was deep in that. I Okay. I shouldn't have sent the message. Speaker 1: Okay. So so you told so I'm just just just to reiterate, you told them that we're gonna have sex when y'all come over, but that was was not your plan, but you told them that. Speaker 0: I that's what she seemed like she wanted. Okay. And so I was feeding into that just to somewhat I had no no plans. Speaker 1: Okay. So but okay. But you but you told 2 13 year olds I wanna have sex with you and you gave her address. Speaker 0: Am I wrong? Honey, no. Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 2: You gave this address. Speaker 0: Yeah. That that's how we met. I thought it was the old address because that's where I was living when I was talking to her. Speaker 1: We're at 1450. Right? Yeah. Okay. He gave this address. Okay. Speaker 0: Then maybe it was shortly after we moved in here. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 0: Well, I think I think when I moved, I maybe gave her my new address and just said, hey. I'm at Roseville kinda thing. I don't I don't remember. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway I Speaker 1: I would I would not so I'm not I wouldn't be here if I thought you were malicious, but also wouldn't be here if I didn't have your address on messages. Okay. So Speaker 2: Can Speaker 0: We were we were just about to fall asleep when you guys showed up. I understand. I heard banging and I was like, what the hell? Speaker 1: No. I I I get it but, you know, you all both work at a school. Right? So, Speaker 2: we work at we work at a school district. Speaker 1: Okay. So so I'm I'm cool to handle this right here, right now. Speaker 0: Okay. Handle this. Yeah. Speaker 2: Yeah. That's that's what I wanna know. What okay. If if As long as your number is Speaker 0: blocking your number, I'm not gonna get this. Speaker 2: Point at when it stops. He will not if she tries to reach out to him, it will not go back. What Speaker 1: Shelly, you don't have to tell me your position in the school district, but or I'm sorry. Don't have to tell me where what school district you work at. I'm not gonna look that up. But, like, what do you do in the school district? Speaker 2: What do I do? Mhmm. I work in human resources. Speaker 1: So do you think it's an appropriate response for someone in human resources to just say, oh, he'll just block and be over. No. No. So so let me ask you let me ask you this, Shelley. If there is a teacher and that was not Chris Speaker 0: Right. So what we're gonna do is Hold on. Speaker 1: If there is a teacher that was not Chris inviting 2 13 year old girls over, insinuating he wanted sex do it. It it would What would you what's your job as a human resources officer? Speaker 2: It it's it's it's above my pay grade. Yeah. And it honestly is Speaker 1: What's your job as a human being? Speaker 0: Okay. Speaker 1: So, Shelly, I think I think it's on you right now to do the right thing. And, you know, I understand people make mistakes, but if I'm just gonna Speaker 2: My my question is what what do you want? Speaker 1: Well, okay. Speaker 2: How because if we're if we're saying that he's gonna stop communication, he's gonna block her number, it stops right now. What Speaker 0: What else are you looking for? Speaker 2: Yes. Speaker 1: Well, what I'm looking for is kind of so we have the if it'll happen again, which I'm pretty damn sure to know because I trust you guys with that. But now it's kind of the why. You say I'm in a dark place. That doesn't really satisfy me. Speaker 0: I was. Speaker 1: No. I get that. I get that. Speaker 0: If he was in Speaker 2: a dark place, I know that she has been messaging him because it keeps coming through. Speaker 1: Did he tell you her age? Speaker 2: He didn't tell me anything. Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 2: It was just a matter of I would see is this the one that's Becca Gonzales in the and it would come through, like, once a month. Like, he doesn't lock his phone from me. We have Speaker 0: Yeah. And and I told when I had told her that someone that I've been talking to for a while that was talking to me before. And I I don't Speaker 2: ask questions. He doesn't ask questions. Speaker 1: Sure. No. That's a healthy relationship. Speaker 2: But this will be conversation we're having. Speaker 0: Yes. Well, Speaker 1: so here here's what I want. And, of course, you're you're free to do as you wish as I'm free to do as I wish. And, you know, it's like a choose your own venture book. Some choices might lead to other choices and, you know, other choices might lead to some choices. I don't know. But what I do know is honesty goes a very long way. And you've been very honest. I'm not I'm not saying you haven't. Honesty and and accountability goes a very long way. What doesn't go a long way with me is yeah. I was blocker and get it over with. What goes a long way with me is, you know, if we had like I mean, if any of these neighbors find out, you know, I'm not gonna be the one to tell them. But if I tell them indirectly by talking here, that completely falls on you guys. But, you know, what I think is the best solution and I can tell you knowing myself what is the best solution. We go inside. We go inside. We have a conversation about it. I've already Speaker 0: had a conversation out here. Speaker 1: See, that's what doesn't go too far with me. Speaker 2: But Speaker 1: When the outside, we kinda get down. We well, we don't have to, but if you know what the neighbors are doing Speaker 2: I mean, but he okay. So strangers show up on my doorstep, video recording. I understand why she's recording. Mhmm. It I I honestly feel fearful. I don't feel comfortable right now. So why would I let 2 people that I've never met into my house? Speaker 0: There's more than that. There's a whole group of them. Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, yeah. Well, Chris. Well, Chris, I'll say this. You you didn't make it. You didn't make, too many fans by doing this. Well, you know that. You you build a fan base. So Okay. That's kinda why there's a lot. But, you know, what if just 2 of us come in? Me and the one me and one other person. Speaker 0: Well, what else is there to discuss? Speaker 1: I think 2 years worth of messages. I'm not saying we How Speaker 2: are we really gonna Speaker 0: It's 9:30 at night. I I have I have to be up early in the morning. Chris Is there another time that would be better to do this where it's earlier in the day? I'm usually asleep by now. Speaker 1: I'm I'm here tonight. I'm giving you the opportunity to get this addressed tonight. One way or another, I'm getting this addressed. And the first the first thing that comes to mind with getting this addressed is just talking to you about it. Make sure we're on the straight and narrow. Speaker 0: Okay. But But and Speaker 1: I Right. But Speaker 0: I I don't we don't need to go over the entire text. Speaker 1: We're not gonna go over the entire text. Well, that's not my plan. Okay. But some clarification and a while on some of it. So like I said, can me and one other one other person just come in and they can just show outside? I don't You absolutely have a choice. Speaker 2: I I don't feel Speaker 0: like the the choice I have Speaker 1: You can close the door with me right now, and I won't knock again. Speaker 0: However What happens if we close the door? Speaker 1: That is something for me to decide. But, Speaker 2: Do you know if that's a threat? Speaker 1: Wait. What's what am I threatening? Speaker 2: I feel like that's a threat. Speaker 1: What am I threatening? Speaker 0: Well, we've had a conversation for a half hour now, Wait. Speaker 1: So so Speaker 0: come inside. Speaker 1: So me me not telling you me not telling you what what the next step Speaker 0: would be if you all just close Speaker 1: the door is a threat? No. It's it's a logic. It's a logical thing. Of course there's of course there's a next step. I personally don't even know what it is, but there's a if we have a conversation that said, of course there's a next step. The next step could be anything from a handshake. It could be I don't know. But what I'm telling you is the best the best course of action is probably we just have a confidence that I'll just go in with 1 other person. Of course, am I forcing myself in? Absolutely not. Speaker 0: I just don't know what Daryl is to discuss. Speaker 2: Can can we can we have a moment? Can we can we just close can we can we have a moment? Speaker 1: For my safety, do you mind just keeping the door open a crack? Speaker 2: I mean, I I wanted I yeah. Okay. I don't Yeah. Speaker 0: It it'll it doesn't shut all the way. Speaker 1: Okay. So can you just like make sure I can see? Like if you don't mind, if you make sure I see I can see some of this right here. Speaker 0: Yeah. Yeah. Here. I'll do. Speaker 1: That's fine. That'll work. Okay. But you look a lot of basketball these basketball mother for half time being over. Yeah. So yeah. He went and Speaker 0: say it. He wanted to Speaker 1: yeah. That's what I want. Speaker 0: We'll just offer family members. Alright. I didn't brought this because I didn't know who Speaker 1: it was before. That's fair, ma'am. We're in Sacramento at 9 PM. I get it. Yeah. Speaker 0: So I'll let you in and one other person, I guess, we'll talk this out because otherwise, you guys are gonna be on my doorstep all night. Speaker 1: Okay. So alright. Sorry. My bad. It's okay. Speaker 0: No. That was I let go of the door. I'm sorry. Speaker 1: Obviously, we're not here to stick any cameras in anybody's faces or anything, but I just want that at least on me just to prove my hands didn't go crazy anywhere. Or nor the baseball bat, makes my face into 2. Speaker 0: Yeah. The I just yeah. The Christmas story Speaker 1: of Monopoly. Goddamn, man. I love freaking Monopoly. Speaker 0: She's trying to sell that actually on, how much? Speaker 1: How much? Speaker 2: Oh, I'd Speaker 0: have to look at it. Speaker 2: I don't know. My brain's already shut down for a bit. Speaker 1: I mean, I'd add I'd do 15.4, though. Just running out there. You just wanna sit? Speaker 0: Or I sure. Or I just yeah. If Speaker 2: you don't mind, I'm gonna Speaker 0: go use the bathroom. Speaker 1: Oh, okay. What are, like, any what are the weapons here? Any okay. Speaker 0: Okay. No. No. Got it. Speaker 1: Got it. Speaker 2: What weapons? Speaker 0: That's it. It. Speaker 2: Well, he'll if you Speaker 1: all saw me play baseball in 2nd grade, you know that that's not a weapon either. The way I swing it, I probably hurt myself. Yeah. No shit. You ever played esports? Speaker 0: Oh, I played baseball, soccer. I was a runner, so was Speaker 1: Yeah. I was about to say Yeah. Speaker 0: High school, I was in track and field Speaker 1: Oh, shit. Speaker 0: Okay. Cross country. I would do about 7 miles a day. Speaker 1: Dude, that's So insane. Speaker 0: I used to run to work when my car broke down. Speaker 1: Yeah. No. Speaker 0: I So I I was in I was in shape at one point. Speaker 1: Yeah. No. I, no. Going into senior high school, it was, like, £240. Obviously, I'm way more than that now, but Football? Oh, yeah. I played center at 2:40, and we ran around the track. And it was just one I I gave my all just one like, I I was getting my all, but I really just pushed myself to the limit. And I, I was running against a linebacker, and I am a running back. And I beat them both around the track on a, you know, the quarter mile sprint. I swear to god I beat them. And, goddamn. I'm just saying, like, what the fuck happened to me? And then, you know, the head coach, coach Wilson told he tells me, like, you know, hey. Gordon moved the soccer goal, and I just look at him. I just vomit. Like, I I had nothing else left in me. Speaker 0: Yeah. Speaker 1: But alright, man. Well, my name is Gordon. I'm sorry to meet you like this. Speaker 0: No. It's okay. I mean, she messaged me today. Right. And I was I was half paying attention to what she was sending me. I got you. Because I was busy running around, like, a couple of days ago all day trying to get stuff ready because I have stuff for tomorrow. Speaker 1: Right. So so, obviously, you know, if if we're gonna read 2 years worth of messages, we'd be here for 2 years and that's not my plan here. And like I said at the door, it's completely voluntary to talk to me. Don't think I'm making you do anything. But, so there was some talk about, impregnating Becca. Speaker 0: It sounded like what she wanted. That was a long time. I mean, that was toward the beginning. She sounded like she was looking for somebody that would take care of her down the road kinda thing. And so my dumbass, you know, I was playing into that with her when because, you know, I had told her, I said, well, when you turn 18, if I'm still single, you know, I I I'll probably have an extra room where where I live or whatever, kinda thing. Right. So and and Oh, thank you so much. It was all it was all for being down the road in my mind. I don't know what what she thought, kinda thing, but I, you know, I told her. I'm like, so that that's how my mind was at the time. This was early on until even our conversation Mhmm. Kind of thing. And I I had told her, if I'm still single Right. Right. And you're 18 and you're still interested Right. You know? Because once you're 18, you're legal. You know? Like, the age, it really doesn't matter. Speaker 1: No. That's fair game. That's fair game. But, you know, obviously, there's a difference between telling a 13 year old, I'll get you pregnant in 5 years, versus there are multiple times well, I'll just point out the one time he just gave his address when he said come over for sex. That was there was no indication that was gonna be later down the road. Speaker 0: That was a moment of weakness. I was trying Speaker 1: to Speaker 0: you know, she had been mentioning how she was sneaking out with Maddie and all this. Right. And it was I was trying to get her over here, and I was gonna have a serious talk with her. That I had no plans to do that. It was more of she seemed like she was hell bent on that's what's gonna happen if we meet up or Speaker 1: hang out. Right. Speaker 0: And it was like, if I can get her over here and talk some sense into her at 13, 14 years old, I can set her on the right path. Speaker 1: Fair enough. Speaker 2: I will vouch for him to say that he does have the weirdest tactics. Speaker 0: Okay. Speaker 2: Yeah. I but it always ends up working out Speaker 0: Okay. In one way or another. It's weird. Because and and and I hate saying it. Sometimes I play into people's psychosis with that where, like, they get hung up on something, and and I have to work, you know, work them through it. I've done that with some friends in the past Mhmm. Where they I had a friend Speaker 2: play into their mind games Speaker 1: so you Speaker 2: can get your point across. Speaker 0: Yeah. Right. Like, I had a friend that was really he was having all kinds of issues with girls Mhmm. And all this stuff, and it took me, like, two and a half years of talking to him to finally get him to realize that he was gay. Yeah. He was having all these issues with relationships and stuff in high school, and I'm like, dude, you like dudes. Like Yeah. Was that that was like a student or something? Or Mm-mm. That's when I was in high school. Oh, oh, oh, okay. Okay. He he would kept striking out with girls. He'd get really nervous during certain points and Mhmm. I was like, you know, we would talk through it and all the stuff, but I had to let him go through it all. Speaker 1: Right. Right. Yeah. I see. Speaker 0: Yeah. So I have weird methods, and I was just, you know, trying to get her to it it's easier to talk to people face to face than it is via text message. Absolutely. So much stuff can get read into, inferred, implied. Mhmm. Hell, I had that issue with my dad. Speaker 2: Can we admit though that that was a really stupid bad idea knowing that they were underage? Speaker 0: Yeah. Originally, she told me she was 18. Then she told me she was 16 in high school, and I was like and then I think it was last year she said she was a freshman. I was like, hold up. You can't be 16. Speaker 1: Well, well, I'm gonna stop you right last year that she I Speaker 2: don't think you Speaker 0: I I don't yeah. Speaker 1: I I I'm gonna stop you right there. She she's Timeline. Yeah. No. But she she she said she was 13, like, very early into the conversation. Speaker 0: Okay. Speaker 1: And I Speaker 0: don't I don't remember that. Okay. That she said it that early. Speaker 1: Okay. But when when you invited her over, no matter what the intent was, when you invited her over, that was after you acknowledged she was 13. Speaker 0: I think so. Okay. Yeah. Okay. But I wasn't the plan there was I mean, because Maddie would have Maddie Maddie, I guess, was 13 too. Sure. And they're taking their mom's car. Well, first off, she shouldn't be driving from Elk Grove to Roseville in her mom's car, so that was gonna be a a a talk of, well, you guys shouldn't be joyriding without a license Mhmm. Kinda thing. Speaker 1: Yeah. That's fair. Speaker 0: And and I would never have let him in. I would have stood on the doorstep like I did with you Sure. And talked to him, kinda thing. So that's yeah. There was a lot of stuff I sent that's that's stupid, and I, you know, fed into Speaker 2: Mhmm. Speaker 0: What I think she wanted to hear to kinda butter her up. She seemed like she was depressed. Okay. She mentioned how, like, her dad never had any money. He was always getting recycling from work, and she, you know, she I know she she sent me some old ass picture she had, and then she said her phone was broken. And so, you know, one thing I was trying to get an idea of what she looked like, like, more so than that old ass picture. Yeah. Yeah. Because you can get you can gauge a lot on someone's face and what they look like. Right. And, you know, this it it yeah. Okay. But Diana and she I think she kept hinting that she wanted me to try to buy her a phone. So then my mind went to, well, you know, she's is she is this someone who's trying to scam me Mhmm. You know, kinda thing. Mhmm. And so I I never really approached that side of it with the whole phone thing. Sure. It's like, you know, okay. You have a broken phone, and then I remember, like, Christmas time, I was like, did you get a new phone for Christmas kinda thing? You know? Speaker 1: Did you end up, did you end up buying anything for her? No. Okay. Speaker 0: No. I never spent no. Speaker 1: What about a a little camera? No. The the little digital camera? I don't Speaker 0: know. Okay. Speaker 1: Well, there there was a picture of the digital camera or a little digital camera that Maddie was sent. God, it's somewhere here in the conversation. But Speaker 0: Becca was sent? Speaker 1: Becca. Yeah. Becca was sent. And it was something about, like, you know, on your end, it was said, you know, I believe in female liberation. I wanna take some photos or that's why we should take photos. Speaker 0: I was trying to get pictures from her to see because the the picture she had was all static like static Yeah. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 0: And and I never sent her a camera. I mean, I have a camera. Speaker 1: Okay. But But did you send her a picture of a camera? Speaker 0: I don't think so. Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 0: Unless it was the one that I had bought. Speaker 1: What'd you buy? Speaker 0: Oh god. I've had that since 2021. 2020? I bought it during COVID. Speaker 1: Okay. Okay. Speaker 0: Yeah. So and and I take it when I go camping and that kind of stuff. So it could have been the box for that. Mhmm. And I just you know, I've been like, I have a camera. Speaker 1: So was there any talk about going camping with, Becca? Speaker 0: I don't think so. I think I mentioned I was going camping, and she said that sound fun. Speaker 1: Okay. And Speaker 0: I said down the road, you know, if that's something you wanna do, we could go camping. Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 0: You know? But it was down the road. Speaker 1: I I don't think there's anything that at least from the message that implied that would be down the road. It was just and I'm not saying it was that day. Let's go camping right now. But it was it was more of, like, you know, I Speaker 0: think you just left it Speaker 1: open ended. Like, if that's something you wanna do, you know, we can go camping. Speaker 0: Well, probably. I mean, we're talking about different things. Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 0: You know? Because I told her I do go camping and that kind of stuff, and she was like, oh, that sounds like fun. And I'm like, well, if that's something you wanna do Mhmm. You know, you we could figure out a way to go camping. You know? Just kind of feeding into that old thing of Speaker 1: So that is that a pictures came up? Like, I wanna take pictures of it. Speaker 0: I don't I I think the pictures were from a while ago Okay. Because I wanted a better picture of her, mainly because I like having pictures of people in my contacts. Yeah. Speaker 1: That's fair. Speaker 0: You know, because then you know who's, like, texting her. Speaker 1: Right. Right. Right. Speaker 0: And she had some grainy, old picture that she sent me ages ago. Speaker 1: Mhmm. Speaker 0: And I was you know? But that's that's all that was. Speaker 1: Right. Right. Was there any talk about, Becca's mom at all? Her mom? Yeah. Speaker 0: I don't remember. I think she was saying that, like, her mom there were times, I guess, where her dad was at work, and she was home with her mom. Mhmm. But I don't I don't I know that she talked a lot about Maddie's mom being home or gone Mhmm. And Maddie living with her mom, like, not with Beck Beck's mom, but but no. I mean, I hadn't Speaker 1: Was there Speaker 0: any able to talk to about her mom very much. Speaker 1: Was there anything you said about one of their moms that maybe you wanna take back or anything like that? Speaker 0: I don't remember saying anything about their moms. Speaker 1: Okay. Could you have maybe said, like, you know, I'd wanna have sex with the mom and the daughter? Speaker 0: Oh, that that was that was something I went through a phase a little while, a while ago before I got with her and everything where that was like a fantasy of mine. Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 0: You know, it's like a a 18 year old daughter Speaker 1: Right. Mom kind of thing. Right. Speaker 0: Because I was of that age where, you know, mid thirties, you can kinda get away with both. Speaker 1: Yeah. Exactly. Speaker 0: So I think that's where that came up.

Speaker 0: FBI has arrested a Delshire Elementary School teacher. This is Mark Alter. He is now charged with possessing and distributing child pornography, and there could be more victims out there. Investigators are still searching to see if that's the case. And WCPO 9 News reporter Sean DeLancey breaks down the extensive federal investigation into a website built specifically for pedophiles that led to his arrest. Speaker 1: This is the face federal investigators want you to see. Mark Alther, a Delshire Elementary teacher accused of possessing and distributing child pornography. The FBI raided a Columbus hotel room to arrest him, where according to his criminal complaint, they also found a naked minor. We're showing you his mugshot because police believe there could be more victims. Speaker 2: Makes me sick of my stomach. Speaker 1: James Burnett lives beside the school and was left flabbergasted by the news. Speaker 2: This this, I don't know. It make it's just I don't know. It just makes me so freaking sick. Speaker 1: The criminal complaint against Alter that I reviewed is extensive and disturbingly detailed. It says that the PE teacher posted at least 262 times on an unnamed website expressly for a, quote, child pornography community serving the, quote, pedophile community around the globe. Can you believe something like that exists? Speaker 2: No. I cannot believe it. Speaker 1: Many couldn't, so I went to the cybersecurity experts over at Entrust IT. How is it possible the way website like this exists? Speaker 3: Well, there's a couple of different ways, Sean. I mean, a, it can be hidden inside something. Speaker 1: Like files buried in an otherwise unremarkable website, or it's on the dark web where it's hard for investigators to track people associated with legal material. The website could also be based in a country where US law means nothing. Speaker 3: Let's say a country where they turned a blind eye to this sort of thing or frankly just don't care. Speaker 1: But Hatter says this is an example of how law enforcement can infiltrate these websites to find US based users. The criminal complaint says an FBI agent was on the unnamed site and connected an account there to Arthur. Speaker 3: I'm glad that, you know, law enforcement agencies are out there trying to put an end to this because, again, the reading that complaint literally made my stomach hurt. Speaker 2: Oak Hill School officials say that they placed Alter on administrative leave as soon as the FBI notified them of an arrest. He is not allowed on school property right now. They say that the charges alone are enough for the board to move forward with firing him. In Delhi Township, I'm Sean Delancey, WCPO 9 News.

Parents vowed to continue fighting for accountability and the safety of their children in the school district. Collins is scheduled to appear in court soon.

Speaker 0: In more than 20 years of reporting, I've never seen a community rise up against a school board with more anger, outrage, and contempt. They're calling for everyone on the Saint Helen school board to resign. One of the teachers in question is accused of sexually abusing students for several years, and they wanna know why he was allowed to teach at school for the 1st 2 months of the school year while he was under investigation. And for this community, it's just the latest case involving teachers or coaches accused of preying on their children. Speaker 1: No outburst. We're giving you time to speak. Let us speak. Speaker 0: In Saint Helens, the school board meeting was contentious from the start. Speaker 1: Respect our kids in school. Get out there. One more person will be asked to be removed. Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but you can remove a parent, but you can't remove a teacher? Speaker 0: Anger and frustration from every parent here after police arrested 2 teachers on Tuesday accused of sexually abusing students. Speaker 2: I am so angry about this. Speaker 0: Furious. Community members demanded action from the school board after they say they stood by for years as teachers in question abused kids, and accusations were ignored. They noted one of the accused, a 46 year old choir teacher named Eric Stearns. Police arrested him Tuesday after a 2 month investigation. In court Wednesday, Stearns pleaded not guilty to charges that he sexually abused 6 different students between 2015 January of this year. To many parents here, words from superintendent Scott Stockwell rang hollow. Speaker 1: Our first and foremost commitment has always been the well-being and safety of our students, and the news has been devastating for all of us. Speaker 0: Board members acknowledge that they knew Stearns had been under police investigation since September, but allowed him to keep teaching until his arrest. Speaker 2: Do do do you guys have anything to say to the parents, to the victims? Speaker 1: We've made statements. And, you know Speaker 0: Parents, including the mom of an alleged victim, say the board's willful inaction goes much deeper than that. Speaker 2: We also had police reports. And I talked to the principal, and she brushed it off like it was nothing. Speaker 0: Former state senator Rachel Armitage also took board members to task. Speaker 2: I want to know why this educator was allowed to cause harm to students for an additional 8 years as well as apparently several others. Speaker 0: This week, police also arrested a second Saint Helen's teacher on abuse allegations. 64 year old Mark Collins, who's now retired. His charges include 2 counts of sexual abuse in the second degree. And parents here say there are more teachers and coaches their kids have raised alarms over, they say only to be rebuffed by school and district officials. On this night, they said it stops now. Speaker 2: You need to step down. You need to take accountability. Speaker 0: The parents here say this is far from over. After tonight, they say they're gonna continue fighting against what's been happening in their school district to protect their kids. Collins, the retired teacher accused of sexual abuse, is due in court on Thursday. In Saint Helens, Catherine Cook, KGW news.

Freshman year was terrifying due to bullying, harassment, and assault from another student. My only refuge was choir class, where I connected with Mr. Stearns, who became my safe person. As a vulnerable 14-year-old, I accepted his hugs and affection, not realizing the inappropriateness. Despite my mother's concerns about our closeness, I felt alone and naive. The school district had a history of covering up sexual abuse by staff, and my reports of bullying were dismissed due to lack of evidence. My mom complained about Mr. Stearns' inappropriate behavior, but it was ignored. We eventually hired an attorney, but the response was dismissive, suggesting we were mentally unwell. The school claims to foster a safe environment while blaming the victims. The accountability lies with the administration, and change is desperately needed.

After the as the bullying progressed, my mental health was increasingly getting worse. I found that my safe person at school was mister Stearns. Mister Stearns and I would talk during lunch together quite often alone in his classroom. As a vulnerable 14 year old girl, I didn't find that it was weird that he'd hug me, kiss me on the head, and tell me that he loves me. I felt alone in this world, and I needed somebody, didn't I? I didn't question it. In fact, I didn't question it when my own mom read up her concerns about our closeness. I was vulnerable I was vulnerable, and I was naive. And the school district had covered up many past previous sexual abuse from former staff members, but this will be the last. I went through 4 months of bullying, and we were never helped by Adam. And we were told there was no evidence because the bullying happened primarily in the bathroom. The school approved mister Shirts to be my safety person. It got so bad we had to hire an attorney. I'm surprised Adam had had the courage to show their face tonight. My mom specifically made complaints about mister Strand putting his hand around my neck as a vocal exercise. That too went swept under the rug. He was my mentor, and I was a young, vulnerable girl. They didn't do anything when students reported her and other students reported stirs or even each other for sexual abuse, sexual assault, and sexual behavior. Saying that we want to foster a safe environment, yet you blame the accusers of being mentally unwell or perclaps. We hired an attorney. Your guys' attorney said, well, what do you expect? It's Columbia County. Wow. Expect to happen now. Yeah. Where did Scott Stockwell? Yeah. Students who were ever being timid because of your guys' arrogance, and you are all to blame. And due to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, details could be limited for a very long time. Parents within the Jewell School District are demanding transparency We knew. We freaking knew. And accountability on Monday. No child should ever have to be Speaker 0: warned that there could be a Speaker 2: predator in the bathroom of the school. After Clasip County officials say a 13 year old was taken into custody following a complaint of sexual abuse. The alleged victim, another student. I feel for those families that are suffering. The school board and the interim superintendent making some new promises in the weeks following the sexual allegations. The board, I think, is taking it very serious. To start, the board says they'll hire a third party investigator, one with no affiliation to the district, vowing to go back 3 years or more. Next up, implementing brand new policies, including more separation among elementary, middle, and high school students, new bathroom and hall pass rules, and a new door and security policy. And I've reached out numerous times both via email and phone asking the district for more details on the resignation, these new policies, and asking for a response about these claims from parents. I have yet to hear back.

I reported on a significant scandal involving Jeffco Schools, where Chief of Schools David Weiss was unexpectedly fired without explanation. It has come to light that he was under criminal investigation for possession of child pornography. Today, I learned of his sudden death, which sources indicate was a suicide. The district has been silent about the investigation, leaving parents frustrated and demanding transparency. This situation is particularly alarming given his role overseeing over 150 schools and nearly 70,000 students.

I uncovered a serious scandal at Jeffco Schools involving a female teacher who groomed a student. School staff assisted the student in filing paperwork to declare herself homeless, enabling her to move in with the teacher, all without informing the parents. When the mother confronted the principal, he dismissed her concerns, claiming the teacher was merely helping students with their sexuality. Despite knowing about the situation, he has not taken action and remains in his position. I believe he should resign or be fired immediately.

🚨HUGE SCANDAL IN @JeffcoSchoolsCo A female teacher sexually groomed a student then school staff helped the student file paperwork to report herself HOMELESS so she can MOVE IN with the teacher— all BEHIND THE PARENTS’ BACKS. When the mom discovered it she went to the principal who DISMISSED the allegations and said the teacher just helps students navigate their sexuality. The principal knew about the homeless document and kept it a secret from parents. He is still the principal.

As a Colorado investigator, I uncovered documents revealing that school officials aided an underage student in declaring herself homeless. This allowed her to move in with a teacher, despite the school district knowing she wasn't actually homeless. School counselors purposefully kept the parents in the dark, and the principal was also aware but didn't inform them. The mother discovered the homeless document, a letter detailing a kiss between her daughter and the teacher, and numerous calls and texts. The principal dismissed her concerns, stating the teacher was just helping kids navigate their sexuality. The teacher quit, but only lost her license after two years and pressure from the mom. The student moved out of state with the teacher at 18. The school district acknowledges the incident, stating proper channels weren't followed, the staff were addressed, and policies were changed.

Speaker 0: Colorado investigator, Shawn Boyd, uncovered documents that show school officials helped an underage student declare herself homeless so she could move in with a teacher. Shawn Boyd joins us now to talk more on this. And, Shawn, she was not homeless. No. Speaker 1: And the school district admits that those involved knew that, yet they helped a student fill out a federal form that said she was homeless, then hid it from her parents so she could move in with a teacher. And that's just the beginning. Speaker 2: There's, like, this icky feeling that something's wrong, and then as it progressed, it only got worse. Speaker 1: Heather McCormick says there were red flags at Columbine High School long before the school district hired investigators who found teacher Leanne Kearney had been grooming a female student. McCormick is friends with that student's mother. Speaker 2: And there wasn't one person who, like, stood up and was like, something doesn't seem right and reached out to the parents. Speaker 1: Instead, school emails obtained through an open records request show counselors purposefully kept the parents in the dark while they helped their daughter fill out a federal form declaring herself homeless so she could move in with a teacher. Speaker 2: I think it's really scary that we can take teenagers or children of any age and just say whatever you say is truth, we're not gonna investigate it. We're gonna take big steps to declare you homeless without notifying your family. Speaker 1: Investigators say principal Scott Christie also knew about the girl's plans and didn't tell her parents. McCormick says the mom stumbled upon the homeless document while cleaning her daughter's room and later found a letter describing her daughter kissing Carney along with thousands of calls and texts between the two. She says she sent Kearney a message warning her it needed to stop and then took the calls and texts to the principal who she says dismissed them, telling her miss Kearney takes interest in helping kids navigate their sexuality. You think the school would have reacted differently had Carney been a male teacher? Oh, absolutely. Carney quit, but it would take two years and pressure from the mom before she lost her teaching license. McCormick says her friend lost far more. When her daughter turned 18, she moved out of state with the teacher. Speaker 2: It's really scary to think that there are schools and teachers and administrations that are working behind your back, not in the best interest of your child. Speaker 1: Jeffco School District sent me a statement saying, obviously, the student did not meet the criteria to be considered homeless and the staff involved in this isolated incident were addressed as part of the investigation as the proper channels in place were not followed. While we have taken every step to remove this former employee from GEFCO and prevent her working in another educational setting, we recognize this is of little comfort to the family. We deeply regret how profoundly this violation has affected the family. And the district also says it's it's changed policies to ensure that this doesn't happen again. But

A parent and advocate for student safety is deeply troubled that a fifth-grade teacher at Beatty Gullet Elementary School was allowed to resign rather than be terminated after engaging in serious misconduct with her 11-year-old daughter and other students. The teacher's actions included inappropriate physical contact, boundary violations, a grooming letter, harassing notes, forged documents, misuse of technology, and unauthorized video recording. The parent has a copy of the grooming letter given to her daughter during PE. She questions how the district and board have protected the affected children and demands transparency and accountability. A guardian flagged surveillance video showing the teacher leading the speaker's daughter into his classroom alone for 45 minutes on Valentine's Day, which was reported to the district on April 11, but the parent was not notified. The speaker's daughter has been deeply affected, experiencing nightmares. The parent believes termination was the necessary response and urges the district and board to prioritize student safety over administrative convenience.

Speaker 0: I am here as a parent and advocate for student safety and a concerned member of this district. I am speaking on behalf of my 11 year old daughter in the picture. I am deeply troubled by the decision to allow my daughter's fifth grade teacher at Beatty Gullet Elementary School to resign rather than to pursue termination. This teacher engaged in serious and egregious misconduct involving my daughter and other students at Beatty Gullet Elementary School. His actions included inappropriate, unwanted physical contact, repeated violations of student boundaries, including a grooming letter, harassing post its, forged office documents, misuse of school technology and cell phones, including air dropping photos from students cell phones without their consent onto his and video recording my daughter running at recess with no educational purpose. Other acts of harassment and documented emotional psychological manipulation of vulnerable children. These were not isolated incidents. They were sustained violations of the most basic teacher standards of trust and safety. In my hands, I have a copy of the two page handwritten textbook grooming letter that was written by this teacher and given to my 11 year old daughter while she was simply trying to attend PE. I am speaking to all of you not just as board members, but as a mother, a parent. How has this district in board protected and vindicated my daughter or any of the Children affected by this teacher? I ask you, where is the district and the board's transparency? Where is the accountability? With their permission of the district, a guardian at Beatty Gullet Elementary School, revade surveillance video and flagged a video which showed that this male fifth grade teacher led my 11 year old daughter into his classroom and spent forty five minutes alone with her while the rest of the students went to the library for their specials on Valentine's Day. The Guardian reported the incident to the district on Friday, April 11. To date, we have not been notified of this horrific incident by anyone in the district or on this board. Superintendent Weissong and Mr. Choate, do you know what my daughter went through behind that door? She is my daughter and I still do not know the answer to that question. My daughter has been deeply emotionally affected by this situation. She has nightmares and wake up and wakes up having cried in her sleep. This teacher stole a piece of her innocence and the district and the board are allowing a resignation. That was not your choice to make a loan. It should have been ours as well. Termination was and remains the necessary and rightful response. Our children deserve a school district and board that places the safety above the safety of children above administrative convenience. I urge this district and board to reflect deeply on how this was handled, not just for my daughter, Grace Mitchell, but for every student in the district who deserves to be safe, protected, and heard. Thank you.
