Yes. It’s also very embarrassing too when your neighbors see 20 police and swat vehicles and officers with heavy duty guns surrounding your residence. The swatting call caused a mass panic in the building I live in because residents were told there was an ACTIVE SHOOTER on the property and a DEAD WOMAN inside her residence. My neighbors, many of whom are elderly, were panicked. And the building even had to send out an alert to all residents tonight explaining what happened because people were freaking out. I would like my neighbors and their small children who often ask to pet my dogs to not think I am a criminal every time they see me outside. It’s really embarrassing on top of extremely illegal. What if an elderly person had a heart attack from the panic? What if someone, or even my dogs got shot by accident? It’s absurd. It really makes me angry that people do this. And I refuse to believe that the @FBI has no way of tracking these criminal swatters. Give me a break. The government could tell me the last 5 times I used the bathroom and what I watch on my TV if they wanted to, but they can’t tell who is trying to get me shot?
