I've been getting this question a bit this week, so a bit of education on a BMD ballot (Ballot Marking Device). On the QR code, each race is 1-2 bytes of data. For most races, a single character is all that is needed. For this Georgia ballot, the '44' I highlighted here signifies both the presidential and senate race. Each bubble on a hand marked ballot is a single bit 0/1 - So the 4 bubbles on the presidential ballot signals each candidate. In binary, this would mean 8 - Donald Trump 4 - Joe Biden 2 - Joe Jorgensen 1 - Write in This creates small QR codes, putting the entire names would fill the pages with barcodes. But it also requires that the database correctly translates the characters to the right candidate. We've now seen a few examples where the database doesn't match the 'bits' and can offset the results from what was voted for. Let me know if you have any questions!

Good morning. Let’s get back to it. Before our detour last night, we were discussing Tabulator malfunctions. As a recap, we learned 1) 2 different printer types & 2 different software had the exact same random malfunction, an impossibility 2) illegal testing was done with zero oversight or knowledge AFTER L&A certification on the 11th 3) that 58% of those tested behind closed doors had malfunctions 4) those 260 machines deployed for the election cycle were KNOWN to have malfunctions prior to deployment 5) they made no changes or attempts to fix the known malfunctions 6) ONLY those tested AFTER L&A certification on the 11th were deployed. NONE of the machines certified on the 11th. 7) and then tried to cover it up. Jarrett lied on stand. To be fair, he doesn’t have a clue. He is repeating what he’s told. Will he become a whistleblower or will he cower from threats I’m sure he’s getting?

So how bad was the problem? Jarrett testified to 3 locations. However, the limited inspection Clay was awarded, uncovered 6 locations. Based on what is known about through multiple PRR a conservative estimate is over 16k that were effected.

Oh… I forgot to mention, there were settings on the printers that were incorrect. And any technician, worth his weight in salt, would have known this. 1) there is function to print before the fuses fully heats up. ECO mode. ECO mode caused the ink to not fully fuse to the paper, thus the speckling & flaking problem This function was ON. There is NO WAY John Latsko DID NOT understand this.

Clay’s final assessment is a full audit of all system components. It’s the only way to know the truth. But just like 2020, there is no way the county will willingly give away the keys to the kingdom.
