Birthright Israel offers free 10-day trips to Israel for 18 to 26-year-old Jews, aiming to strengthen their connection to their heritage. The program was launched in 1999 to combat the continuity crisis, as many young Jews were disengaging from Jewish life. The trips focus on experiencing Israel rather than lectures, with visits to various cities and attractions. The program is committed to four principles: showing, not telling; making it fun; having no strings attached; and allowing participants to be the captain of their own Jewish journey. The trips have had a significant impact, fostering a sense of belonging and creating lifelong friendships. Since its inception, Birthright Israel has had over 750,000 participants from 68 countries, with high rates of alumni feeling it was a life-changing experience and maintaining a strong connection to Israel.

Speaker 0: A 10 day trip to Israel with flights, food, and a ton of Instagramable moments, all for free? You may have heard of birthright Israel, the all expense paid adventure to the holy land. Seems too good to be true. Right? There has to be a catch, but there isn't one. You're not going to be roped into long boring religious seminars or be told what to think about the Israeli Palestinian conflict. However, there is a goal. I mean, this isn't Oprah. The organization behind the trips does have donors who wanna return on their investment. So what is the goal of birthright Israel? In the 19 nineties, polls in America and throughout the west confirmed what most Jews could see for themselves. Many young Jews were drifting away from Jewish life. They weren't excited about being Jewish or building Jewish lives. Jewish leaders called this the continuity crisis. While pondering this crisis, these leaders noticed that when they traveled with their families to Israel. Their kids seemed far more excited about being Jewish. Recognizing how their own kids connected to their heritage in Israel, but yawned in synagogue. They wondered if visiting Israel would have the same positive impact on others. That got them thinking. Could they make trips to Israel more accessible? In the nineties, most young Jews had never visited Israel, especially not those living in North America, where the 11 hour plus plane ride didn't come cheap. The polling at the time predicted that barely 1 in 5 American Jews would visit Israel at any point during their lifetimes. 2 philanthropists took this all very seriously, and brought other thinkers and leaders together to wrestle with the issue. They came up with kind of a crazy proposal. Could we give every young side of Israel, the gift of a trip to Israel. That premise would eventually become the most unprecedented, experimental, and ambitious educational project Judaism had ever seen. But in those early days, there was a lot to sort out. How long should the trip be? Should it be free for everyone? Should they just hand out free plane tickets and let Jewish backpackers invade? Though the debates could have continued forever, these forward thinkers took the plunge and launched the program in December of 1999. They landed on offering free 10 day trips for 18 to 26 year olds no matter how much money they had or how observant were. If you were Jewish, this trip was your birthright. The catch for this free trip was simple. Create new links in the chain of Jewish continuity. The program was committed to 4 guiding principles. 1st, show, don't tell. Participants are there to experience Israel, not hear about it. Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, the Negev Desert and Tel Aviv would all be on the itinerary. Second, make it fun. The trip couldn't be all lectures, museums, and historical ruins. Hikes, experiencing Israeli nightlife, floating in the dead sea, and camel rides were other ways young Jews could enjoy the culture as much, if not more so, than the history alone. 3rd, no strings attached. This could only inspire connection if nothing else was asked in return. This was an actual gift. No alumni donation calls, no expectation to push it on your friends, No paybacks. And finally, invite every participant to be the captain of their own Jewish journey. Now this last one was a little tricky. The trip would need to be set within certain parameters. Also, there would still need to be some sort of teaching aspect and a goal to foster connection. The experience would introduce them to the history and heritage of the Jewish people, the story of Zionism, the meaning of Jewish identity. But once teed up, each young Jew could follow through as they wished. Their solution was guided tours with 40 participants exploring the country together. In the past, group tours of Israel had been run by political organizations or religious groups with specific agendas. So birthright Israel committed to offering nonpartisan, non ideological general introductory tours using an approach tailor made to fit this new generation. As they continue to grow the program and fine tune it, themed Trips were created to best fit each participant. These focus around interests such as food and outdoor activities or ones that cater to specific communities like trips for orthodox or LGBTQ plus participants, which foster a deeper connection to personal identity within the group. And after the 10 days are up, Participants have the option to extend their return flight to have whatever experiences they choose. In the earliest days of the trip, the impact was immediate and apparent. Participants quickly learned that being in Israel meant Judaism was much more than just going to synagogue, observing Jewish holidays, or keeping kosher. Judaism wasn't some distant or abstract idea you learned about in Hebrew school. It was something real, something tangible. Wandering around the streets in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. They had a feeling of belonging to a big diverse worldwide Jewish family. As one first time visitor to Israel remarked. Even when cab drivers say good morning or Shabbat Shalom to you, you don't feel it's just coming out of politeness. You feel that they care about you. In addition to their shared Heritage, traveling in groups created an instant community resulting in lasting lifelong friendships. Countless romances from the trips have blossomed into serious relationships and even marriages. Every trip builds on the Jewish people's long standing involvement and fascination with Israel. A mere 10 days fully immersed in the Jewish state, where a Jew can feel proud to be Jewish is life changing. And there are statistics to prove it. Since birthright Israel began, over 750 1000 Jews from 68 countries have taken the trip. 85% of alumni feel that the Birthright Israel trip was a life changing experience. 84% of them are raising their children Jewish, and 93% of participants are likely to be very much connected to Israel. And Birthright Israel programs have contributed upwards of $1,500,000,000 to the Israeli economy. Few organizations, foundations, or even commercial brands can report such success rates. Birthright Israel's unique and immersive experiential education was the first of its kind. Since then, other Diaspora communities and heritage groups seeking to connect their younger generations have taken note, hoping to root their own young people in their heritage. It all may seem too good to be true that donors, philanthropists, and the government of Israel are willing to a 100% foot the bill so you can take a vacation. But there's something about this experience that simply can't be replicated. There's so much more to Judaism than Hebrew school, high holidays, and. If the only catches the chance, not the expectation, that you'll learn a little about Jewish history, and possibly form a connection to your heritage? Then maybe it's a chance worth taking.

So a lot of my reptilian clients, usually wanna keep their, you know, their, their sessions really private. And I know that sounds kind of weird coming from reptilians, but most of my reptilian clients are more dragon cast. I see. You know, so there's a gentler energy to them. They're not as, you know, warrior like. They're not as aggressive. A lot of them come to be teachers and healers. Reptilians are amongst the most gifted healers that you'll ever find. Video Transcript AI Summary
For thousands of years, humans have consumed A2 milk from grass-fed cows, which aligns well with our biology. However, modern milk comes from cows fed grain, corn, and soy, resulting in unhealthy fats and inflammatory proteins. Alternatives like almond milk are not as healthy as they seem, as they contain phytic acid that depletes minerals and oxalates that contribute to kidney stones and joint pain. Oat milk, often contaminated with glyphosate, raises blood sugar levels like a sugary soda. Macadamia milk and coconut milk are acceptable options, but they lack protein. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement plant milks with whey or hemp protein to ensure adequate protein intake and avoid unwanted substances.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Free milk has been a part of human food for at least 5000 years. The milk we would drink was from a breed of cows that makes A2 milk and they ate grass. And that works well with our biology. The kind of milk that you get now is from cows that are bred to eat grain and corn and soy. And that milk has the wrong kind of fat and it has a kind of protein called a one protein that's very inflammatory. But let's assume you're not going to drink cow's milk. Well, what about the fake with almond milk. It's not a health food product. So almond milk is high in phytic acid that sucks minerals out of your bones. You have to take more minerals. And it's also high in oxalates, which are the things that are causing kidney stones and things that are causing gout and joint pain when you wake up. So then we say, well, oat milk. Okay. That is the biggest scam on the planet right now. It raises your blood sugar as much as drinking a Coke. It is not a health food. It usually has glyphosate and it's high in phytic acid that sucks minerals out of your it. Right? So what should you drink? There's 2 kinds of milk that are are okay. One of them is macadamia milk because macadamias have the right kinds of oil in them. But the other one that's abundant and healthy is coconut milk. Here's the the problem though. The thing that milk has that's most important is it has protein. And the 2nd most important is it has fats. When you have a replacement milk, even coconut milk, there is no protein. So you have to take that and add whey protein or add scoops of maybe hemp protein if you are doing plant based. So I just want to tell you, you're not getting protein in your plant milks, and you're getting stuff you don't want in your plant milks. So just don't do it.

David Delighten, founder of the Center For Medical Progress, discusses undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood's sale of aborted baby body parts. Delighten calls for investigations into the black market of aborted baby organ harvesting to prevent the exploitation of human life.

Speaker 0: Madam chair, representative, thank you for the opportunity to speak with you today. My name is David Delighten. I'm the founder and president of the Center For Medical Progress, a nonprofit investigative journalism organization that focuses on bioethical issues that impact human dignity with a special focus on the trafficking and harvesting of aborted babies for experimentation. Before we begin today, I want to acknowledge that some of the many people viewing this hearing may have had a personal experience with abortion and to express my concern that the taxpayer funded abortion industry should never be in a position to exploit the circumstances that may have led you to have that experience. And also to note that what we will discuss today may be graphic. My organization is responsible for the series of undercover video reports in 2015 that caught Planned Parenthood's top level leadership callously negotiating the harvesting and sale of aborted baby body parts. I'd like to play some of that footage now. Speaker 1: What would you expect for intact, tissue? What what sort of compensation? What sort of Well, when you start, they told me where you used to pay it. I wanna wear it even more. Speaker 0: That's right. Speaker 1: Because I wanna wear it to be Because that's how we're gonna keep you happy. Right? Yes. To make sure that financially, you're growing your clinic and, however you need to say that Mhmm. Frame it on the other end. Yes. So if we alter our process Mhmm. And we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers. It's all just a matter of line items. Speaker 0: My undercover work in the abortion industry and subsequent investigative reporting has shown me a very dark and broken side of humanity. I've watched the handling of dismembered babies inside some of the biggest planned parenthood abortion centers in the country while their research officials discussed how to disguise the sales. I've met with dozens of Planned Parenthood's top abortion providers at their lavish commercial abortion trade shows sponsored by companies buying baby parts. At these trade shows, I consumed far more alcoholic beverages with abortion providers than my liver would like to admit as they talked about the harvesting and sale of aborted baby livers. Sometimes I actually saw them start to tear up describing the tiny brains and hearts and feet of premature babies that they dismember and brutalize before selling them. Only to then see them steal themselves and shake it off as they tried to suppress the heresy of human feelings that the dogma of industrial scale abortion cannot allow. I'll never forget when early on in my research, a whistleblower from fetal body parts company, STEM Express, told me about the biggest liver her lab had ever sold from a baby aborted at 5 months at the Planned Parenthood in Sacramento, California. They took the stem cells from the liver, put them in a vial, and sold them for $17,000 to another taxpayer funded laboratory. Planned Parenthood says 75% of abortions take place because of financial problems. $17,000 might have been somebody's rent money for the next year. But for the abortion clinic selling and the government funded laboratories buying, that 5 month old baby was worth more dead than alive. I've also witnessed the apparent apathy of too many public officials in the face of such barbarism. It led one of my undercover investigators to remark in exasperation, if we asked STEM Express to ship a baby's head to the sheriff's doorstep, would they care more then? That was an ethical line that I did not feel like we could cross. I wish the taxpayer funded clinics and laboratories involved shared the same views. Recent government sponsored experiments on aborted baby parts involve stitching the scalps of 5 month old aborted babies onto lab rats to keep the baby hair growing on the rodents. This was done at the University of Pittsburgh to develop a new experimental platform to sell to big pharma. FOIA documents we recently reported on show the fetal tissue bank at Pitt is under federal law enforcement investigation by the HHS Office of Inspector General. But since congress members requested this investigation 3 years ago, there has been no update from the OIG. But our investigative reporting is ongoing. 2 weeks ago, we broke the story about a contract Planned Parenthood has with the University of California where Planned Parenthood and UC San Diego agree for Planned Parenthood to sell its, quote, proprietary aborted fetuses in exchange for the, quote, valuable consideration of ownership of the patents and intellectual property the university develops using them, which could be worth 1,000,000 of dollars in ongoing royalties. The transfer of any aborted fetal tissue for, quote, valuable consideration is a federal felony. But describing aborted babies as proprietary means Planned Parenthood thinks they own them and have a right to sell them. Whatever the total amount of the sales, this contract is irrefutable proof of Planned Parenthood's criminal men's Rhea to sell aborted baby body parts in violation of federal law. The abortion industry led by Planned Parenthood is a powerful special interest in our country. They fight to silence reporting on their black market of aborted baby organ harvesting, and the ongoing cover up goes to the highest levels of our government. Kamala Harris, as the Planned Parenthood endorsed attorney general of California in 2016, raided my apartment to seize 100 of hours of unreleased undercover footage. Some of the biggest Planned Parenthood abortion centers got a federal judge in San Francisco who previously opened and funded a Planned Parenthood clinic to issue a federal injunction against the release of the remaining footage. I and my organization now face a total $25,000,000 fine for our investigative reporting. I guess being able to continue to sell baby parts is worth at least $25,000,000 to Planned Parenthood. Aborted babies are only valuable for planned parenthood to harvest and sell and for government funded laboratories to buy precisely because they are human beings just like us. But the message that our civilization needs now more than ever is that the value of every human being is infinite. At a time when powerful government and media forces are trying to silence this message and well meaning public officials sometimes struggle to find their voice, it is imperative for the People's House to reopen formal investigations of the black market and aborted baby organ harvesting so that taxpayer funded entities can never put a price tag on human beings. Thank you.

DO YOU T H I N K RAW MILK SHOULD BE ILLEGAL? https://t.co/3rBb70JG5k

Video Transcript AI Summary
In the early 1900s, raw milk was praised for its health benefits by doctors like Charles Porter and Dr. Crew. Despite its historical value, raw milk is now illegal in 21 states due to safety concerns raised by the CDC and FDA. While some argue that raw milk has potential health benefits, others emphasize the risks associated with harmful bacteria. The shift in perception towards raw milk raises questions about the changing attitudes towards food safety and consumption over time.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: This is illegal in 21 states, but why? In 1911, Charles Porter wrote a book called Milk Diet is a Remedy for Chronic Disease in which he mentions raw milk was a cure for patients with chronic disease, diabetes, cancer, low, and high blood pressure. One man even wrote to Porter saying that due to a constriction of his food pipe, he drank only raw milk his whole life and said, quote, my health is good. In fact, I have never been ill in bed for 42 years. Later in 1929, doctor JE Crew, who founded the Mayo Clinic, wrote an essay called The Real Milk Cures Many Diseases. The essay references milk as white blood given its similar properties and complete nutrient profile. It also mentions patients carrying complications with heart disease, hypertension, tuberculosis, psoriasis, diabetes, fatigue, anemia, and more. Doctor. Crew cured thousands of patients. One patient in specific lost ยฃ41 and reduced her blood pressure from 220 to 170 in 2 weeks, all on a gallon of pure raw milk a day. So if raw milk has been so prized, then why are we so scared of it today? Well, because they told us we should be. The CDC said that raw milk can hurt your family. It is harmful bacteria, and that from 1998 to 2018, a 20 year period, 228 hospitalizations were reported from the consumption of raw milk. No deaths, just hospitalizations. For reference, in that same time period, roughly 5,000,000 people died from medical errors. Regardless, the FDA has also said very similar things. They're also the ones telling you to dip your pizza in chocolate. We should all have some skepticism when presented with information we're not sure about. For example, why would a nourishing food like raw milk not be fit for human consumption? Why don't we pasteurize breast milk? History tells us milk was a delicacy. What changed?

Gibbondo's Farm in Southern Ontario milks about 260 pounds of milk, more in winter due to consistent food. The farm is over its government-regulated quota, leading to milk being dumped at the end of the month. The speaker claims to dump 30,000 liters of milk, which is emotionally distressing. Canadian milk costs $7 a liter, but dairy farmers allegedly have no say in their operations and are forced to dump milk. When I go for my haircut, people say, wow. $7, Jerry, for a little bit of milk. I say, well, you have to go higher up because we have no say anymore as a dairy farmer on our own farm because they they they make us dump it.
