The systemic impact of different COVID-19 vaccines in 2-[18F] FDG-PET/CT - Scientific Reports Austria started its COVID-19-vaccination program in December 2020 with three different vaccines. As the vaccination program continues, we encountered increased 2-[18F] FDG-activity not only in axillary lymph nodes ipsilateral to the injection site but also in other organs. The aim of this retrospective study is to present results of the metabolic activity of ipsilateral axillary lymph nodes, liver, blood pool, spleen, and bone marrow after three different vaccines. To our knowledge, this is the first study to examine systemic response changes in relation to time after COVID-19 vaccination using three different vaccines. The collected data of 220 eligible vaccinated patients (127 with BioNTech/Pfizer BNT162b2, 61 with Moderna, and 32 with AstraZeneca) examined with 2-[18F] FDG-PET/CT were enrolled. The PET/CT examinations were evaluated from day 1 to day 135 (SD: 23.2, median: 26) after different vaccinations. Seventy-one out of these 220 patients underwent a pre-vaccination 2-[18F] FDG -PET/CT. SUVmax of axillary node(s), and blood pool, liver, spleen, and bone marrow as reference organs were calculated. The ratio of SUVmax activity of axillary lymph node to reference organs was also compared in all patients. The tracer activity dynamics were investigated in three different vaccines. After BioNTech/Pfizer vaccination 2-[18F] FDG activity in axillary lymph nodes shows a steady decrease in all patients. Ten days after vaccination the 2-[18F] FDG uptake was at its highest activity. Seventy days after vaccination, tracer activity is not different from the background activity of 2-[18F] FDG in the axillary region. This result also applies to other two vaccines; however, in the 4th week after Moderna vaccination SUVmax in lymph nodes showed the highest peak of tracer activity. With AstraZeneca the highest activity was at the earlier days. There was no significant statistical difference of SUVmax of lymph nodes or its ratios to other reference organs between three groups of vaccines. SUVmax in lymph nodes was statistically significant lower than SUVmax in the liver, spleen, and bone marrow with p-values of < 0.001, 0.044, and 0.001, respectively. In the group of 71 patients with a pre-vaccination PET/CT examination, the median SUVmax of lymph nodes increased significantly after vaccination from 0.82 (IQR 0.59–1.38) to 1.80 (IQR 1.07–3.89)(p < 0.001). In contrast median tracer activity in the liver decreased from 3.37 (IQR 2.83–3.91) to 3.11 (2.56–3.70) (p = 0.032). There was no significant change of tracer activity after vaccination in other reference regions (mediastinum, spleen, and bone marrow). In this group of 71 patients, there was also no significant difference in tracer activity in different types of vaccines. Local site and ipsilateral axillary lymph node activity in 2-[18F] FDG PET/CT after COVID19-vaccination is suggested in many studies. The main challenge is recognizing the changes in lymph nodes during time after vaccination to minimize false interpretation, foremost in patients with oncological diagnoses. Moreover, different vaccines cause different system metabolic changes. So I keep getting this question. They gave me a meningarongitis vaccine, a pneumonia vaccine, and the tetanus vaccine all at once. Within a few minutes, my body started reacting. And over the past day, it was literally last night that they gave it to me. Over this past day, I have gotten a 1,000 times worse. So on my gums, you can barely see. So on my lips, and, of course my neck. It's on my feet, my toes, my back, and the back of my neck and all over my scalp. It is also on my ears. It is absolutely the worst thing I've ever been through. I originally came in because I suffer from a blood disorder called PNH. Caroxysmal, nocturnal nocturnal hemoglobinuria. I was diagnosed with the blood disorder back in January of this year. I have since then moved to California and really tried to work on myself without getting any treatment for the disease as they wanted to give me a bunch of vaccines, and I have never had a vaccine in my life. We tend to my family and I tend to not do vaccines due to religious preferences. We are Christians. I have never received a vaccine other than when I was a baby and the certain ones. My p and h was getting worse. I was having very bad symptoms of it, and I was having unbearable headaches to where I couldn't even stand. I was in bed for 2 weeks and didn't eat. I was just trying to wait for all the symptoms to go away at home, but I just kept getting worse. The reason why I chose UCI Medical is because I literally live 3 minutes from this hospital. My hemoglobin was at 3.1 when I came in, and I got a few blood transfusions and they raised it up. They want to do another bone marrow biopsy on me as I had one in January to show that I had this disease. They want to perform another one so that they can see what kind of p and h I have, but I'm starting not to trust them at all. And I believe I will go back to Florida to do that. But it's just very hard to leave because I am all the way across the country. I'm in California, and I originally resided in Florida where my original doctor was. I got blood transfusions. My hemoglobin went back up to about a 7 or an 8, and they were ready to discharge me. But it didn't make sense because I was still having very bad symptoms of the p and h, and I didn't think I was ready to go home. The specialist who was overseeing my p and h disease ordered that I get some vaccines because in order to receive the treatment for p and h, you have to take the 3 vaccines that I mentioned earlier. I saw someone comment that this happened to them after they gave them a bunch of vaccines that they should have mixed together. I believe that is what's happening to me. Everyone keeps telling me to leave this hospital, but I want to, but I am so scared to leave in this condition. I have the air low, my body's hot. We put Benadryl on, and I finally accepted for them to give me a steroid to help my body strengthen up. But I've been holding off on anything else they want to give me because I'm afraid, and I really don't trust them anymore. The specialist who ordered the vaccines ordered them and had 2 days off. So I have been waiting to possibly leave to see her and show her what she did to me because this is wrong. Back in Florida, there's a lawyer called Dan Newland. He's an amazing lawyer. I called him last night, and I will be setting up an appointment with him. And I will be suing this hospital. The jaundice is setting in because part of p and h is liver failure, but they are not listening to me. Yesterday, I had to ask for water for 2 hours. I had to pee and bucket on the floor because nobody would come help me use the restroom. I have family with me, but it's just my sister and she genuinely doesn't know what to do. My fiance is trying to help, but he is also sick. So he decided to try and stay home, which I thought was best for him and me as well because we don't wanna make either of us worse. They gave me 2 vaccines in my left arm and one in my right arm. I cannot move my arms at all or lift them, especially my right arm. This is the worst thing I've ever been through. And I really want to leave, but again, I'm so scared to leave in this condition. I could barely sleep because I'm too afraid to sleep and I won't wake up, but it just kept getting worse. I'm hoping they can fix this. And as soon as I'm unswelled, I don't mind the purple. But as soon as I'm not swelled anymore, I'm leaving this hospital and going to a new one because this is just wrong. Wrong. They're genuinely trying to kill me. They won't listen to anything, and all they wanna do is pump me full of drugs, which is exactly what happened to my grandma. My grandma passed away a little over 10 years ago. And when she had lung cancer, the hospital just kept filling her with drug after drug after drug. She ended up leaving the hospital and going to hospice for a few days. And she got a 1000 times better and still lived for another 4 months. But they genuinely dragged her up so bad that she was supposed to die. And I believe that is what's happening to me because the specialist doesn't even care to come in and see me after she did this to me. Hopefully, I answered all the questions. I will be trying to leave soon. Everything hurts so bad. This is just so disgusting and wrong. It's definitely malpractice, and these people don't know what they're doing because they let me sit for so long and didn't even know how to explain what was happening to me. They gave my sister a paper and started whispering to her that they didn't wanna tell me the side effects of these vaccines together because they didn't wanna scare me. Speaker 0: Public health authorities should take credit for the decline in measles deaths in America. They should, but they should take credit in the following way. Between the year 1900, I saw on the CDC website, what I'm about to tell you, and the year 1960, '61, '62, the years before the first measles vaccine in America, 1963, the mortality rate for measles declined by over ninety eight percent. Yes. By over ninety eight percent, that is you can just go pull up the mortality data on the CDC website. This is uncontroversial, it's just data, what I just said. Some people get emotional about it, but it's just data, what I just said. Why would they get emotional? Well, for the reasons we just discussed. That decline had nothing to do with vaccines. You know how I know? There was no measles vaccine. That's how I know. What caused that decline? I think that in part, it's the public health authorities should take a lot of credit for that. Nutrition sanitation. Better sanitation, clean water, getting sewage running out of the streets. Right. Right, all of these things, initiatives to make sure that there's natural light, like remember all the tenement buildings? Yes. All these initiatives, even basic things like quarantine. Oh, if you're sick, not that not the kind of forced kind of stay at home stuff that we're talking about, just if you're sick, hey, maybe you should stay at home in bed kind of stuff. And so that declined ninety eight over ninety eight percent. You know how many people died in the few years, on average a year before there was the first measles vaccine in 1963 when POCs of this country were still like the developed world, around four hundred Americans a year died. That's one in five hundred thousand Americans died of measles in the years before they were vaccine. Every death's a tragedy and measles can still kill people just like any virus can in parts of the world that are really underdeveloped. Any virus can kill children, adults. And there were still pockets of America in the early sixties that were like that. But that declining rate of mortality, it was a trajectory that was ongoing even when the measles vaccine was introduced in '63. So those four hundred deaths, which have now gone down, how much of that is attributable to measles vaccine? How much of it is to the continued efforts of public health agencies? Right? We we that could be debated forever. We don't need to. But the important point is this, long way to answer your question is this. When you listen to public health authorities today, they will say to you measles is what caused the decline. Measles vaccine is what caused the decline in mortality. They never talk about those other things that they did.

Unvaccinated kids had dramatically fewer visits for asthma, speech delays, behavioral issues, autism, and more. He published the data and has since lost his medical license.
