In breach of the IJC rulings Israeli protesters have completely closed the Kerem Shalom Crossing essentially starving 2.4 million Palestinians…🇵🇸💔 https://t.co/QBVrvc8CAM

Video Transcript AI Summary
At the Kerem Shalom crossing, aid trucks are unable to pass due to a protest by people who believe the food will end up in the hands of Hamas. They demand that humanitarian aid be withheld until hostages are released. The border has been closed for the past few days, and today it remains shut. The International Court of Justice has ruled that Israel must continue providing humanitarian aid, but it is currently being blocked by this protest.

Speaker 0: Kerem Shalom crossing. The aid trucks are down here. The army is controlling the crossing. But the reason the trucks can't get through is this, a protest of people. They say they don't want the food to go into Gaza because it falls into the hands of Hamas. They say, hold back the humanitarian aid so that the hostages can get released. There are perhaps a couple of 100 people here. Today, the border was closed. The last few days, they've had protests. The border was closed as well. The number one interim ruling from the International Court of Justice for Israel to follow, keep the humanitarian aid flowing. Right now, is getting blocked here by this protest.

More war crimes from 🇮🇱 Israel's National-Religious Zionist movement (Smotrich) who are now blocking humanitarian aid for Gaza at the Nitzana border crossing, between Egypt & Israel They say they are blocking aid only for Hamas but it still amount to a collective punishment 🤷‍♂️ https://t.co/r6RWJoWfYB

Video Transcript AI Summary
Protesters at the Nitsana border crossing in Israel were originally planning to block the Kerem Shalom crossing. However, they were forced to take alternative routes and ended up at the Lissama border crossing between Israel and Egypt. They aim to prevent trucks carrying humanitarian aid from passing through to the Israeli side for inspection. The protesters, mostly youth from national religious movements, are joined by adults waving Israeli flags. Despite a festive atmosphere, their message is serious: they oppose delivering aid to Hamas in Gaza and want it to reach the non-involved Palestinian population instead.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: We are at the Nitsana border crossing. The original plan of the protesters was to block the Kerem Shalom crossing as they've been doing that for 6 days already in a row. But it was blocked and, started a long, long journey through bypass roads and dirt paths until we reach the Lissama border crossing. This is the border between Israel and Egypt. You see The heavy metal fenced door of the border. And this is the barrage manned by Israeli soldiers where the humanitarian trucks are supposed to pass through to go to the Israeli side of the Nixana border crossing where they go for an inspection, a security inspection, and then go back to Egypt, travel an hour, Go to the Rafah terminal on the border with the Gaza Strip, and the ADs delivered to the Gaza Strip from the Rafah terminal. And they managed to block the Nitsana Crossing for the first time. So you can see the protesters are here. Some are sitting, most of them youth from the national religious movements. They're sitting here to prevent from the trucks to drive through to the inspection by the Israeli authorities. And Just, beyond behind them are the adults, who are waving Israeli flags. There is even somebody singing with a guitar. There is some sort of, atmosphere of a happening here of some sort of joyful festival. But the message is clear, and the message is very serious. They don't want humanitarian aid to be delivered, they said, to Hamas in Gaza and not to the non involved Palestinian population.

Last month the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel must enable an increase in aid into Gaza. Here is Shaina Low, spokesperson for the @NRC_Norway, explaining how Israel is making it impossible to deliver aid into Gaza https://t.co/GU80R5Apqv

Video Transcript AI Summary
Conditions for humanitarians in Gaza are dangerous due to Israeli targeting and civil disorder. The World Food Programme had to halt aid distribution for safety reasons. Ceasefire and guaranteed access are needed for safe aid delivery. Shooting at desperate people seeking aid is unjustifiable.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Conditions right now on the ground for humanitarians are simply unacceptable. In any other context, humanitarians would be pulling out at this point because it is simply so dangerous and there are no guarantees of the safety of humanitarian staff, neither, because of Israeli targeting of convoys, Israeli targeting of police who are there to protect aid convoys. And then, of course, due to the desperation, because of the lack of aid that's getting in, there's just been a deterioration of civil order in Gaza that's led to to the the charging and and looting of of aid aid convoys as they're trying to make their way. I'm sure the WFP WFP did not take this decision lightly, but it's but they need to they also have a duty of care to their staff and to the and to the people seeking out aid not to not to be putting them in in dangerous positions. You know, I I really don't understand why the Israeli military was shooting at at, people desperate people seeking aid. I can't imagine that that any aid workers would want, people who are desperate and and and on the brink of starvation to be shot while seeking out aid. Of course, one of the things that we need in order for us to be able to deliver aid safely is a ceasefire and guarantees of access to all parts of Gaza where where aid workers and those seeking out aid will will be guaranteed of their safety. In terms of the conditions of of those attempted distributions earlier this week, it's just simply unacceptable.

Israel has banned food deliveries by UNRWA to the north of Gaza, where kids are starving to death. https://t.co/RISSlkfsqM

Video Transcript AI Summary
Israel has stopped UNOWA food deliveries to northern Gaza, affecting 250,000 Palestinians. Famine and malnutrition are causing deaths, with aid groups calling it a forced expulsion. The prevention of food delivery is seen as part of a plan to impose a total siege on Gaza, leading to a death sentence for those in need. Airdropping food has been ineffective and dangerous. This situation is viewed as ethnic cleansing.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Israel has informed the largest aid agency in Gaza, and that's UNOWA, the aid agency that deals with Palestinian refugees across the Middle East, 6,000,000 people, but specifically also, of course, those in Gaza. Israel has informed then that it will no longer allow UNOWA food deliveries to northern Gaza. Can you speak to us about what this is going to mean for the 250,000 Palestinians who live in Northern Gaza? Speaker 1: Yes, sir. Well, within the past few weeks and since the the famine, acute famine started to spread in the northern part and already caused the death of a 27 children and more are in in hospital, Kemal Adwan Hospital just waiting to die given how cute malnutrition is is happening right now and then the family is going everywhere. And the more we talk to aid groups and aid workers and and rights of groups on the ground here in in Gaza, nothing of what's going on is shorter than a forced expulsion. The prevention of aid delivery, the, the under I started with the undermining of the United Nations and on Iran, its role on the ground here with the allegations put by the Israeli military. And right now, the complete prevention, of food delivery is part of a, will, declare the plan, the strategy at the beginning of the war when the Israeli defense secretary imposed total siege on the Gaza Strip. And what we're seeing right now is a practical translation and interpretation of the statement that was made by Netanyahu and his defense secretary. What is going on right now? No food to the northern part means a death sentence to the 500,000 people stranded in the northern part in Gaza City without offering any alternatives because so far the proposal for other alternatives have been proven to be inefficient. Airdropping not only is inefficient but has caused the death of people in couple times when it was when it experienced malfunctions. And it is worse than what we expect in fact because forced expulsion is nothing shorter than an ethnic cleansing of what's going on eventually. People will die although will leave. And

The utter lack of humanity is truly frightening. Israelis are setting up illegal checkpoints that block the flow of food and water into Gaza https://t.co/Gww1HLj8L5

They are blocking trucks, demanding driver IDs to determine if they are delivering aid. They gather intelligence from soldiers to track convoys. These youths have set up an unauthorized checkpoint, stopping trucks based on whether the drivers are Jewish or Palestinian. Speaker 0: So what they're trying to do is lock trucks like this so you can even get money and demand the ID of the driver. That's how they know whether they're delivering aid or not. Obviously, that's not at all legal. The police are just down the hill. Okay. I don't know what's in them. They're blocking us from shooting. Oh, no. Stay in a minute. So basically, what one of the ways that they get intelligence is by asking soldiers like the 1 in the car behind us to give them information. And so that's how they know where the convoys are going, when they're going, when they're going, when they'll be in. Junctions like this one. Oh. No. What was Easy. Easy. Easy. What's with We did not take pictures of you. Coming in with a mask face. That's very scary. You did not see you. But you came and you put a No. No. No. No. Face. No? No face. No? No. No face. What is this? No. This is the cameras. Look down here. They just put that Oh, where the crease is? I put that boulder right in front of the wheels to block it. Do you have a right to ask them for documents? We just we just ask them from where from where you go, and then I'll give Okay. How many trucks have you stopped today? Today, because the police have stopped, they have 1. So what you're seeing here is that these youth, mostly teenagers, have basically established an extrajudicial checkbook. They're blocking these trucks, demanding IDs of the drivers to know whether they are Jews or Palestinians. If they're Palestinians, they stop the trucks. They think they might be very made to Gus.
