Speaker 0: For the 2nd world war, there was an uprising by the Kikuyu people who wanted their land back. The Kikuyu were herded into concentration camps and fortified villages. Almost the entire population of over a 1000000 people. People were systematically tortured to death. We, the Europeans or the Americans, have come to rescue the rest of the world from its depravity and backwardness. But in order to do that, you have to be able to demonstrate that the rest of the world is depraved and backward. From this, arose the racism that is still with us today. It was a necessary component of the colonial project. Some people might claim, well, okay.

Forget about all that unpleasant stuff and let's just celebrate where we are. Where we are is a continuation of the project. For questioning YouTube's global head of trust and safety and vice president Matt Halperin asked to why our reporting on Pfizer was taken down. From a press freedom perspective, this is obviously very concerning.
Speaker 1: You know, after going to California to ask questions to Matt Halpern, a few days after we did the street interview with him. I checked my mailbox, and I've got a letter from San Bruno police department, which is, You know, the police department in the same city that YouTube is headquartered in, San Bruno, California. And I opened the letter, and it's a notice of a search warrant to retrieve my GPS data from my personal phone to track my whereabouts between certain time frames on the very day that we interviewed Matt Halpern. The search warrant is in reference to a criminal investigation that they are conducting related to Potential threats of violence against an individual and business.
